David slowly opened his eyes that morning as he felt a warm t©uçh c@r£ss!nghis hair. It took few seconds for his retina to focus fully on the image before him.
“Good morning..” she greeted smiling weakly David j£rked his eyes fully open.
He just can’t believe it. She’s awake! She’s…. OMGGGGGGGGGG!
“Ana..” he raised his head from the be-d and ca-ressed her hand tenderly.
“You’re awake I can’t believe my eyes. When did you wake?” He asked anxiously feeling happier than ever.
“Not too long. You were slee-ping like a lad. That’s why I didn’t bother to wake you up.. ”
“Oh Gosh. I’ve missed you” he k!$$£d her all over her hand. Feeling the warmth.
“I’ll go call the doctor” he got up from his seat, bent over and placed a k!sson her hand before walking out.

“So, Rosiana how are feeling, do you feel any pain… In ur head.. headaches? Dizziness? Or..
“No doctor I’m perfectly fine” Rosiana retorted with a calm smile.
David who sat close to her be-d breathe a sigh of relief. It’s a good thing she’s awake.
“Can you remember any p@rt of the incident?” The doctor asked.
“Well, I remember trying to swim in a pool….”
She paused, trying to find her words.
“Huh.. that’s all” she swallowed in.
‘ you sure?” The doctor asked again.
“Yes doctor” she nodded with an as-suring smile.
“Alright” he jotted some wordings on a plain sheet.
“I’ll get back to you two later” with that, he left.
💗ROSIANA💗
I remember everything. O remember exactly how it happened but I decided on my own not to tell him. I remember Alicia pushed me into the pool. I remember Calling out to her for help. That’s all. I blacked out from there.
Immediately the doctor left, I gr!pp£dti-ght David’s arm in attempt to sit upright.
” hey, relax Babe..” he motioned me back to my lying state on the be-d.
“It’s Alicia David. She pushed me into the pool and watched me drown.” I spoke out with heavy breathe.
“I know alre-ady. And you nee-d to relax cause everything is taken care of alre-ady. No nee-d for worries” he smiled instead.
“You know” I breathe out in relief.
“It’s a good thing you c@m£ back on time to save me. If not, something worse might have happened” I added.
“Well, actually I wasn’t the one who brou-ght you to the hospital. It was Alicia”
I c0cked my head in disbelief.
What the heck??
“What do you mean she saved me? She tried to drown me… And then save me? But why???”

It sounds very much confusing to me too. So I didn’t know how to answer Ana.
I told her what really happened with janietta and how she tried to save her but ended up in same situation as hers.
Janietta is equally fine today. Maybe before the end of today, she might come over to Ana’s ward to see her.
“I wouldn’t have thought janietta would sacrifice so much for me” … She paled at an instant.
” I myself wouldn’t have imagined such too”
“Alicia’s still behind bars I guess”
” yes. ” I replied.
It feels like arresting her isn’t just enough for what she did and the lives she almost took.
Since we’re done with the project, I’ll drive over to the house first to check on my kids before going over to Duvel.
The project nee-ds to be submitted.
“So Babe, what would you like for breakfast?” I asked.
Her face lit up in excitement as she gave me an answer
” I want everything for breakfast. Any cookies, baking, fried.. all of it. I’ve so missed it😁😁😁”
I laughed out hysterically to her answer.

¶¶Three Days Later¶¶
The prison door opened, startling Alicia who sat soberly at a close corner.
“Miss, you’re free to go home” the prison warder announced to Alicia’s amazement.
She j£rked to her feet and briskly walked over to the iron door which the warder slowly opened.
” I’m Free to go home? Really? Who ordered my freedom??” She asked, looking happier than ever. She never thought she’d be free considering how serious David took and issue and the threat to try her in court.
“Yes. You heard me” he successfully opened the door.
“Who did this plea-se? Who bailed me out?” She anxiously asked.
“David Romero. He’s dropping all charges against you. You’re free to go” with that, he walked out as Alicia followed behind looking perplexed.
¶¶ David? He freed her himself? He’s no longer pressing charges. Oh Gosh! What must have t©uçhed his heart? Does it mean he has forgiven me?¶¶
A lot of unanswered questions ran throu-gh her mind. She feels extremely guilty for what she did. She certainly doesn’t deserve his forgiveness.
She sadly packed her things and walked out of the station.
The cool breeze that greeted her the moment she stepped out reminded her how much she has missed these past days. Her hair plastered over her face to the rhythm of the wind as she felt a bit relaxed and even more guilty.
She has to go see David. If not for anything, to beg for his forgiveness. Cause she knows he’s still mad at her.
Neglecting how rou-gh and dirty she was looking, she boarded a taxi which drove her straight to David’s house.

The door bell rang out continously.
“Coming” Rosiana who just finished taking her bath, c@m£ out with a loosed shi-t and small shorts to get it.
She opened the door and a small g@sp left her mouth. In fear, she shutvtge door back but not fast enough for Alicia Who held it with her hand to prevent her from shutting it completely.
“Hey plea-se Ana. plea-se I’m sorry just listen to what I have to say” she pleaded.
“Ana plea-se…”
Rosiana who felt a bit soft towards her plea-s slowly opened the door standing face to face to Alicia.
“I know I don’t deserve to come in, neither do I deserve to be here standing face to face with you after what I did. I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness either, but plea-se Rosiana, plea-se I beg you. Forgive me. I didn’t know what …
“What c@m£ over you right? What are you even doing here?” David completed her statement with a coarse voice.. coming towards where they stood.
“David…” Alicia drawled, her heart summer saulted. Even the tone of his voice showed how much he despises her.
“You heard my question. What are you doing here?” This time, he was standing behind Rosiana.
“Don’t tell me you’re here to finish up what you started. Cause you won’t succeed this time”
Tears trickled down Alicia’s eyes as she listened to those hurtful words from David.
“David it’s not what you think plea-se. I’m really sorry for what I did. That’s why I’m here. I’m truly sorry” she Cried more.
“Sorry? Did you just say sorry? You know what Alicia, just get out..
“David plea-se..” Alicia tried to cut in.. but David hushed her with a glare.
“Don’t plea-se me Ana. Tell this murderer to leave this premises or I’ll call the cops for her again”
“David. It has gotten to that plea–
“It’s okay Ana, I’ll leave. I only c@m£ to thank him for dropping charges. Thank you” she sniffled.
“Trust me Alicia, if it was me, I would have made you rot your whole life in jail. You better thank your stars someone plea-sed on your behalf. Now can you leave?”
Alicia g@sped in tears at David’s hurting words. She nodded instead. She would never have thought a time will come when David, the guy she’s always loved will hate her this much.
“Oh. Ok” she managed to say. Taking steps backwards.
“Whosoever the person is. Say me a thank you” with that, she wiped her teary face and walked out.
David pu-ll-ed ana a little from the door and shut it ha-rd . Loud enough for Alicia to hear it’s ban-g.
She bur-st I to uncontrollable tears cause right now, she just earned his Hatred.

“You were so harsh” Rosiana rolled out.
“D@mn harshness.you could have died.” David stated a clear fact.. trying to show Ana reasons why she must avoid Alicia.

“It still doesn’t change the fact she tried to drown you by pushing you into a pool when she knew you can’t swim.
Begging me to drop charged against her is enough Ana. I wouldn’t want you any way close to her. Don’t fall for her stupid crock tears. She’s a devil.
If she really cared about you, why did she push you in. Even when Janie begged her to help you out, she paid no attention. What did she do instead? She neglected her and waited till you st©pped breathing before she could do anything.

Nob©dy nee-ded to tell Ana how angry David was. She could easily tell from his voice and the look on his face.
And also with the way he treated Alicia few moment ago.
“I’m sorry. I’ll stay away from her. I promise” she walked over where he was sitted and close to him. Her hand on his face.. pu-lling it to her face.
“It’s a promise okay.” She as-sured. Placing a light k!sson hisl-ips.
David smiled a little. He still wasn’t okay.
He is not so sure about Alicia. His mind is not at rest a bit even after seeing her in a sober state
He just can’t Trust her anymore especially when it comes to the safety of His loved ones. His family.
“Cheer up okay. So, when will the kids come back from Mark’s place?”
The kids except junior who’s in his room slee-ping at the moment. They went for a vacation at Mark’s place.
“Few days from today. It’s a week’s vacation for them” David retorted.
“I’m beginning to miss them yunno” she chuckled lightly.
“Me too” David nodded. He dearly miss them too. Even their mischief and disturbance 😊
