CHAPTER FORTY ONE: VILLAGE FESTIVAL 1 ( APPEARANCES OF REGINA THE WITCH )
Lord Mammon pa-ss throu-ghthe palace gates with blood all over his body, his eyes searching, searching for the one thing that makes him happy, the one thing that put smiles on his face ” lily ” growling he walk into the main palace and then his chamber.
There she is, sitting down and brushing her hair calmly, a towel wrap around her body, hair we-t, she must be out of the shower.
Her gaze turn to face my direction but they was no smile, no joy, nothing but anger ” how could you do this to me mammon!!!” She yell, tears in her eyes and I frown.
” What have I done?”
” You ” she stand to her feet, the comb replaced with a knife ” you took everything away from me, you killed my family!”
” You must be joking” I growl, this was not how I wanted to be greeted after returning home from a long hunt ” I have never seen your father before”
” You betrayed me!” She yell ” you betrayed me!!!!”

Blinking my eyes I woke up from the dream, I can’t remember the last time I had a dream, it definitely has been centuries but then this one seem a little too real.
Coming back from hunting.
Lily looking furious.
Body fill with blood just as I am right now.
Did I just see the future?
Or am I going nuts.
” Baron, stop the carriage” growling, the carriage came to an immediate stop, I got off it and head into the forest.
” Milord, what’s the matter?”
” I need to wash these blood off, stay with the horses ”
” As you wish milord ”
Moving de-eper into the forest, I stop when a rive cake into view, taking off all my clothes, I move closer and when I did, a frown came into my face…..a woman with dark red hair, colour of wine. was in it.
She stayed in there quiet not saying a word and I didn’t hesitate to step in, her face slowly move to meet mine, she didn’t yell like others would but when our eyes meet, I blink and she blus-hed.
Her hands quickly move to her che-st, not hiding her brea-stwhich are surprisingly small but trying to test something, maybe her heart seem to be in a serious condition.
For some reason I can’t avert my gaze from hers, her eyes were not pretty, just a normal green colour but something else was in it, something that isn’t normal and I nod.
” You’re a witch ”
” How ” she mumble, voice low and calm, like baby voice ” how do you know ”
” You surely are pretty to be called one but you’re a witch after all ”
” You’re the king ”
” Indeed” using the water I wash off the blood from my face ” witches are to be burnt the moment they are sp-otted ” this however brou-ght frown to her face.
” Do you plan on killing me your grace ” she shake her head before swimming close to me ” I heard you’re a greedy man, when something is yours, it remain safe till you discard it yourself”
” Hmmm”
” Make me yours milord ” she look at me with pleading in her eyes and a grumbling stomach” I have no other place to run to”
” What use will I have with you ”
” A bodyguard” I furrow my brows at that and she cleared her throat, changing her mind ” I could be a maid, your concubine, your whatever”
” This concludes it ” washing off the blood from my body, I stand to my feet and off the water, her face turns pure red, probably from seeing me na-ked ” you’re not pretty enough to be my concubine, you don’t look like someone that can be a maid and these all conclude that you’re useless to me ” moving towards where I drop my clothes, I frown.
Blood can be seen on them, casting a simple spell, it all vade off it, the clothes becoming neat and clean once more ” I could serve your wife milord ”
” Hmmm”
” Surely one of them is lacking a maid” putting on my clothes I nod, lily doesn’t have a maid and this girl is a witch, she could protect lily when am not around.
” Indeed” I look at her while zi-pping my trousers and putting on my shirt ” you will be a maid but still protect her from danger ”
” I can do all that milord ” she get off the water and I stare at her body with a calm expression, something is definitely wrong with me, other men will find her incredibly beautiful and s-exy but she still doesn’t make my co-ck throb, like lily does ” you’re staring milord ”
” Indeed” I mumble ” you have a nice body red ”
” Red?”
” It’s your name ”
” I have a name ” she frown” it’s Regina”
” Hmmmm” turning around I start moving ” follow me and be fast about it red”
I already miss lily.
Arriving back in the carriage, the ride was calm and fast towards the palace….my eyes was closed, breathing even which will prove am asleep but I could hear her whispers ” he is my mate”
Mate?
” My heart won’t stop beating and I saw colours ” her words made me frown, she might have find me handsome just like others but to a demon like me, a fallen angel.
The gods can’t choose a mate for me, if those idiots call themselves gods that means I should be called God am far better than them.
” We have arrived milord ”
Getting off the carriage, Regina walk behind me while I fasten my steps to the main palace, eyes searching everywhere for her and there she is, standing in the garden.
Moving towards her direction, she turn to face me but quickly turn around, she lift her hands which must be cleaning the tears I saw earlier ” lily?”
” Milord ” she turn around and move into my arms ” I missed you ”
” Are you okay?”
She nod and I lift her face to look at me ” you look sad ”
” It’s nothing milord ” women truly are difficult to un-derstand ” I brou-ght someone to serve you ” she look behind me, eyes widen before frowning ” her name is red ”
” Regina milord ”
” Just like she said ”
” I don’t want her ”
” Lily ”
” I don’t want her around you or me ” I frown at that, not because her words anger me or anything but because it’s the first time am seeing her so serious about something.
” Milady?” Regina mumble but lily shake her head.
” Come lily ” holding her hands I pull her with me, Regina tried following but I shake my head ” remain there ”
Entering my chamber, I shut the door then look at her, she has lose a lot of weight ” you need food ”
” I want her gone ”
” Why?”
” She will steal you from me ” I blink at lily voice ” it was a vision, maybe a short one but I saw her face, she was hugging you ”
” That’s just preposterous lily ”
” I…”
” I brou-ght her here to serve you, to protect you”
” I can do that ”
” She is stronger lily ”
” Am not weak Lord Mammon”
Running my hands throu-ghmy hair I frown then let go of it, sitting on the bed and exhaling, exhausted from the hunt and this girl’s drama.
Looking at lily I study her face, she truly is worried, her face a little too sad and pale for my liking, her eyes fill with fear, fear of losing me ” should I kill her ”
” Yes”
And that is it…..this is not my lily, lily I knew will never wish to hurt a fly but still yet this made me smile ” how about you do it yourself, accept her as your maid and try killing her ”
” But….”
” No but lily ”
” You want her dead, do it yourself and maybe then you will accept how weak you are and that you can’t protect yourself” my words seem to have brou-ght tears to her eyes.
” You’re the worst ” she run into the bathroom, shutting the door and I exhale, maybe I shouldn’t have said that.
I just wanted to hug her.
Standing up I move into the bathroom, her back is to me as she sit in the bath tub crying ” lily ”
” Don’t speak to me ” she sniff
” I didn’t mean it”
” Go away ”
Taking off my clothes, I slowly step into the tub, behind her then quickly wrap my hands around her body, pulling her close and she gasp while I place my face on her shoulder ” forgive me ”
” Let go ”
” Lily ” mumbling I swallow de-eperly ” I really want to bury myself in you ” my words definitely made her shut up, her breathing increase ” but that doesn’t mean I like it when you’re angry with me ” whispering i bite her ears ” you should know that I will never leave you ”
” Promise ”
” I promise ”
” So you will love me one-day?”
” Indeed” this made her relax on my body while I bite and su-ck on her ne-ck….giving her a Hi-ckey.
” come to the village festival with me tomorrow” she ask and without thinking I reply.
” Anything for you ” this made her smile but a voice outside the bathroom alerted me, the bathroom door is slightly open, no I didn’t turn around but the sound was pretty loud in my ears even though it’s a tiny sound.
Someone is eavesdropping on us and from the sound of her breathing, that person is angry.
Things are heating up.
