Lord Mammon frown ” don’t you try stealing that smile from me lily ”
” I don’t wish to live ” she kept crying ” life is difficult milord ”
” So you wish to leave me alone?” groa-ning I swiftly move to her side, grab her hand and pull her to myself ” so you wish me to be lonely once again?”
” Milord” she look up at me, her hands slowly touching my face, the tears won’t stop dropping from her face ” I love you ” she mumble ” I love you so much that seeing you frown and in pain is hurtful to me ”
” Lily”
” I will stay but promise me”
” What is it?”
” You will not kill anyone else” she rush her words ” if they are after me, you will allow me do the killing ”
” No ” I frown, my anger rising ” no body tells me what to do lily….am not giving you an option, am simply telling you, you can’t live me ” placing my hands un-der her jaw I make her to look up at me ” you had a reason from running from killing, I will not permit you to kill anyone when am around”

” Listen to me lily ” cu-pping her face I lean close ” you belong to me, I don’t care if this offend you but I own you and I do not wish for you to keep crying and thinking of dying ever again…. un-derstood?” She nod her head and then I lift her up in a bridal style walking back into the palace and towards my chamber.

” Hmmm” arriving in my chamber, I head towards the bathroom, slowly take off the shirt she is wearing, her face heat up but said nothing….maybe because I have a serious expression on but truly I was on the verge of losing my strong will

I didn’t delay time before putting her in the huge bathtub, the flowers on the water giving her a nice scent
Withdrawing I sit down on the mere floor, staring at her back, how tiny and fragile she look,. So small that anyone will want to protect her but I keep on asking myself
Why do I feel like I can’t survive without her, why do my heart beat increase whenever she touch or smiles at me, why do I feel at ease around her ” lily?”
She turn around ” yes milord ” I watch how flush her face is, the water stop around her ne-ck, she really is short, it almost swallow her up

She remain quite for few seconds before replying my question ” I think it’s a heart disease milord, are you sick?” She look really worried and I totally forget how naive lily is, of course she won’t know the answer to my question
” What made you think you love me lily?” I asked, completely curious ” your mind may be playing tricks on you ”
” Do you think so?” Her voice seem to be really calm, like she is thinking of something serious ” milord you might be right, I may h…..” Knowing what she wish to say I wave my hands fast enough to cut her off

She didn’t think twice before getting off the water and speeding to my direction, did she forget that she is na-ked or what ” milord!” I watch her wrap her hands around my ne-ck, press her ba-re bre-ast on my che-st and her eyes dance with hope ” do you think you might eventually fall for me?”

Swallowing I look at her li-ps then her eyes ” maybe lily ” my hand touch her face gently ” that’s why I had to stop you from jumping?”

” No silly ” I chuckle” because am fond of you and you truly do make me smile “‘

” You have no idea you are sitting na-ked on my lap right now ” when she look down at herself, she quickly move backwards, falling into the water, her face practically burning red and my co-ck continue to cry in pains
These days I keep getting blue balls and it isn’t helpful ” I will go ”
” Don’t” she rush her words

” Am scared being alone, don’t leave”
” Alright” after she was done I help her back to the chamber, she put on her night dress, lay on the bed, surprisingly the moment she did, she fell asleep
Such a de-eper sleep that she begin voicing some of the things out ” I don’t want to leave you” she growl, shaking her head ” I never meant to kill you, never meant to hurt you at all….please don’t make me leave” tears drop from her eyes ” Chen!” Yelling she wake up, her eyes widen like she just learnt a truth

CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR: ADDICTED 1
Walking down the hallway lily couldn’t help but to smile at the sight of snow falling , it’s been a week and nothing has happened, no dark portal, no pond.
It felt like things are back to the way they use to be, me living a simple and peaceful life but then even if nothing has happened so far.
I can say that Lord Mammon has definitely changed, I don’t know if it’s the way he stares at me, the way he lic-k his li-ps or touches me whenever we kis-s.
At these times, my heart always beat so fast that am scared that he will go back to his cold ways ” milady” I bow my head when princess milia walk by but this time around she stop.
I watch how angry she look ” you are lily right? ” Stepping back I nod and she frown ” tell me lily ” she move close, her green long hair tied in a ponytail while she look at me with the intent of killing me ” why are you so close to the king ”
” Am his concubine milady ”
” Your lady?” She growl placing her hands on my hair and pulling me close, her hands ti-ghten so much that it hurts ” since when did I belong your lady!” She look so angry that I had to push her off me because of the pain that her hands was inflicting.
I was shocked when she hit the wall at the slight push I gave her ” that was hurtful milia” I growl, since she hate being called milady, I should call her by her name then.
She is not even married to Lord Mammon yet and she is acting this jealous…….my thoughts cut off when Lord Mammon and some of the councils are seen walking towards our direction, they must be heading to the dungeon.
These days I have been seeing lot of men being drag into that place, princess milia on the other hand already bow her head waiting till the king pa-ss by but I couldn’t do that, I just couldn’t stop staring at this handsome man.
” If only he will be mine ” I whisper more to myself, Lord Mammon approach my direction, stop, place his hands un-der my jaw and make me stare at his face.
The council and his generals watch in awe.
” Lily” leaning close he bite my lower li-p, probably because I was biti-ng them first ” what did I say about these”
” Whenever I have the urge of biti-ng them, I should come to you ” my face heat up, people are watching, he is putting me in more trouble, Princess milia already lift her head, staring with anger ” milord ” mumbling his hands move to my arse, my eyes widen.
He pull me close and crush his li-ps on mine, the kis-s wasn’t long but it was short and de-eper, my heart won’t stop beating fast ” have a good day lily ” he break the kis-s then leave me behind with a flush face and pounding heart.
Princes Mila already left, probably dying from jealousy, placing my hands on my li-ps I watch how he move towards the dungeon, that angry and serious face back on ” I love him ” nodding my head I say to myself ” I love him so much ”
Deciding on what to do now, I move towards the kitchen ” what brings you here lily ” miss Clara ask and I look at her after looking around, the whole place empty, not a single maid preparing dinner for the king.
” I have decided to cook miss Clara ” smiling I proceed to washing my hands ” maybe chicken stew and rice ”
” For who ” Alina step in with tray of unwashed dishes ” is for the king right?” Nodding my head at that, they both smile ” I heard you’re his favorite”
” You have to persuade him into marriage lily ” martin step in ” the concubines already hate you, one of his wife died recently and a king shouldn’t have just one wife ”
” Brother martin ” I gasp ” I will feel horrible to for-ce him into marrying me” cutting the chicken into small pieces I put them on the fire and begin cooking ” he will propose when he feel comfortable.
” You mean you are comfortable being a concubine?” Alina frown and I chuckle ” what ”
” Of course not Alina ” smiling I look at them ” I know fully well that you guys are worried for me but feel at ease, I have things un-der control ”
It took me two hours to prepare everything, holding the tray towards Lord Mammon chamber, I couldn’t help but to keep smiling, how will he react when he see the food?
After stepping into the chamber, I shut the door, move towards the balcony drop the food and hurriedly rush to take my bath, I took my precious time in there.
” Milord these are issues that should be carefully looked into ” Serena growl ” these people are not dying, they keep growing old and tired of living ”
” It’s like the spirit of death has abandoned them ” Venus growl ” and then the food and water supply haven’t arrive for days now, the people are suffering milord ”
” What is the cause of the delay in the food and water ” my gaze travel to baron ” surely I discussed this last time, those lycanthropes should be killed ”
” They have gotten stronger milord “baron reply and I frown, all these problem are arising at the wrong time, I certainly do not have time for this ” another meeting will be held tomorrow by noon, I want all the council members and my generals present ”

Standing up I walk slowly, the snow Haven’t stop dropping and so as my problems, I still have nothing on lily case and this week of peace for her means they are planing or waiting.
But waiting for what exactly.
During these days, her beauty seem to have increase, I just can’t walk by her without touching her, baron has repeatedly complain that a king shouldn’t behave on such manners but I can’t help it.
She is just so attra-ctive, so perfect.
I can never let her go and I do not care why I feel these way….it may be greed or something else but right now I care not.
Stepping into my chamber to cool off I frown at the aroma of that, I haven’t eaten for days now I did order the maids not to prepare food till I feel like eating so why is they food in here.
Moving towards the balcony to growl at whoever is there ” I told……” I stop talking when lily come with view, her back to me, bend over picking up a spoon that must have dropped.
I swallow when I get a glimpse of her white un-derwear ” Lord Mammon” she stand up straight then turn to face me, putting on one of my white shirt, I could see her thi-ghs ” I prepared dinner for you milord ” she smile so innocently that I growl.
” Innocent” I mumble and she look confused.
“milord?”
” You’re so innocent lily ” I watch her smile ” but that makes me want to taint you more and more ” moving closer I smile ” do you know why?” She shake her head and I use my hands to rob her li-ps ” because am addicted to you ”
