CHAPTER TWENTY ONE: LILY PREDICAMENT 2
Lord Mammon sit calmly and listen to baron, his intake on what lily might actually be” are you sure?” I ask and he nod ” but why will Diego need lily? What do he need from her, doesn’t he know he can’t take what God has given someone ”
” He must think that drinking her blood will be enough to be strong, that’s just foolish ”
” Indeed ” I growl then exhale but before I could speak on, Venus step in and from the looks in his eyes, I know the news will be a horrible one, one I will dislike.
” Miss lily isn’t in Diego mansion milord” Venus mumble ” it seems that Lord Ruskin has her ”
” That bastard again ”
” It’s not his fault milord ” Venus mumble ” from my sources I heard he ask miss lily to choose between you and him…..she basically choose him milord ” I had no reason to doubt Venus, he controls the forest, he can listen to trees and trees have all the stories you can think of
” I see ” squeezing my hands I frown ” so she think he is far better than I huh ” standing up I look outside my window and stare at the tree ” then I will let her taste the real Ruskin, let her be ”
” Yes milord ”
I couldn’t help but to frown, my fist clenched, why won’t she learn, I treat her nice as possible, I treat her differently, I guess she will learn
I will give her a day to spend with Ruskin before taking back my property, whether she likes it or not, she is tick with me ” we leave tomorrow baron ”
” To where milord?”
” To Ruskin kingdom” I smile ” inform the king that Ruskin has flee my kingdom with my concubine before our arrival”
” That will be done milord ” baron mumble ” what do you suggest we do with Diego ”
” Just capture him, I want to hear words from him….I trusted him, never knowing he was a spy ” I smile ” they must be a reason he hates me and I will love to know what it is ”
” My lord, could it be you have no idea who brou-ght Diego to this world ” turning around I stare at baron while he mutter ” the late Lord of this kingdom, Diego should be the current king ….not you”

Lily nod her head gently before Lord Ruskin let go of her ne-ck, his frown turn to smiles ” while you stay with me they are rules ”
” Rules?”
” Yes lily ” he sit on the bed ” your needs will be taken care of but with everything they is a price to pay ”
” I fear I do not un-derstand milord, what price are we talking about? ” I asked and he smile, maybe coming to Lord rushkin wasn’t a good idea, I suppose I should have stayed with Diego, he might be scary but better to be with
” You will share a bed with me lily, am starting to think that a concubine suit you better than a wife” his words made me furrow my brows” I mean you keep talking about how you are Lord Mammon concubine, maybe you will prefer to be my concubine”
” But you once said you wish to marry me ” the growl ” you said you fancy me ” I watch him stand to his feet and move toward my direction ” could all that be lies?”
” Lies?” He smile ” I do not see need to lie lily, I tell only the truth….I do fancy you, I want you all to myself but you keep acting stubborn…..I went throu-ghwooing you to get to you but you keep mumbling Lord Mammon which is annoying ”
” And now you want me as your concubine”
” Indeed ”
” I refuse ” mumbling I step back ” I Bel Ng to Lord Mammon not you, I will not be yours ”
” You made your decision already lily ” I watch him grab my ne-ck and ti-ghten his hands ” you made your choice and that’s why you’re here with me ”
” You’re hurting me ”
” I know that ” he lift me up and throw me to the bed ” I believe torture comes from love, you made me love you, you made me have the need to see you cry in pain and strangely I love seeing you smile ”
” I will never smile throu-ghthis pain ”
” You just have to lily “he frown ” or else you will receive more pain, pain you can not handle ”
” Then truly you wish me to die ”
” I will have someone to bring you back to life ” he climb on the bed then grab my hair, pulling them while I scream, I watch the smile in his face, how happy you look, he look like he is in the edge of ecstasy ” you look so good lily, the look on your face is everything ”
” Stop it ” the moment I mumble those words he slap my fave and I cough blood, he is far stronger than Diego, my nose also break from the impact, tears flow from my eyes
” That should be enough “he stand off my body ” I will get maids to take care of this mess” I watch him leave before crying, I must be truly stupid, running away from Lord Mammon into his arms, he talked so nice and lovely
No one would have suspect that he will turn out to be like this, no one would have think such a thing except Collin, he warned me, warned me to stay away from Lord Ruskin and I tried
But I thought running from Diego was the best and Lord Ruskin won’t harm me, I guess I thought wrong, I calculated everything wrongly….. Every damn thing wrong.
I guess am truly foolish and stupid, too naive to see who Ruskin is and now am here to pay the price….I just hope I die soon, to end this suffering

CHAPTER. TWENTY TWO: HER BLOOD 1
After the shower, I was taken to another chamber for dinner with Lord Ruskin, the dress was really transparent and short, I had to drag it down a little, no bra nor p@n-ties were offered.
Taking my seat I notice the lust in Lord Ruskin face, how he lic-k his li-ps as his eyes feast on my bre-ast , I didn’t try covering them it will only anger him and put me in trouble ” eat lily ” nodding to his words, I open the plate to find chicken soup.
I didn’t hesitate to eat, I continued eating, it taste so good but my face hurt from the slap earlier ” lily ” he called and I stop ” are you afraid of me?”
I shake my head ” No milord ”
” Why do your body tremble anytime I call you ” he frown and I swallow de-eper, I didn’t mean to annoy him ” come here ”
” I do not wish to ” my words seem to anger him the more, he stand to his feet and I did same, moving backwards to the exist door ” I do not like it here Ruskin and I do not like you either ” my hands remain at my back with the dining knife.
” You call me by my name now lily?” Within a blink of an eye he is grabbing my ne-ck in his hands, his eyes darken ” I treat you nice ”
” You hit me!”
” I show you the plea-sure of pain and this is what I get in return” his hands ti-ghten around my ne-ck while he lift me up ” it’s better you die than to give me such attitudes ”
With all the strength I have, I Pierce the knife into his left eye, he let go of my ne-ck immediately and I didn’t hesitate to run, not minding what am wearing I run straight out of the palace gate, I had no idea I could move this fast but my heart start racing when I notice three carriage stopping right in front of me.
Did he send people to capture me, thinking of the road to the forest, I stop when I realize that Lord Mammon step off one of the carriage, he look really pissed but for the first time I was happy to see him.
He part his li-ps to speak but I didn’t give him the time to do so, I ran into him, hugging him and crying ” am sorry ”
” Lily!!!!” Lord Ruskin voice made shiver run down my spine ” how dare you !” I turn around to notice the blood around his left eyes but the eye look pretty unharmed….he is a wizard after all ” if it isn’t Lord Mammon ”
” Ruskin ” Mammon growl, his anger increasing ” fleeing with my concubine is against the law, I can have you killed “‘
” She choose to come with me Lord Mammon ” Ruskin smile and Mammon gaze move to meet mine, he look so angry that he push me off his body, baron brou-ght a jacket and cover me up before directing me to the carriage.
I couldn’t hear what they are saying but the cold air around them increase, Mammon move towards Ruskin, grab him by his ne-ck and from the look in Ruskin eyes, he is feeling pain, some yellow dust leaving his body to Mammon.
After that Ruskin fall to the ground coughing and Lord Mammon step into the carriage, it turn around heading back to Lord Mammon palace ” Lord Mammon?” I mumble but his gaze remain glue to the window ” milord ”
” Shut up lily ” he growl ” I might lose the control am having right now ”
Tears drop from my eyes ” am sorry ” mumbling I cry ” I do know am very silly, I know nothing, it was foolish for me to run, I can never survive without you….I know that now ” I still got no response from him ” I promise you, this time around I will be the best concubine of the year ”
I notice a little smile appear on his li-ps, he nod then look at me ” you will be punished lily ”
” Punished?”
” For running away ” I nod, didn’t try arguing, I knew I deserve it, it was my foolish that brou-ght me this pain.
” No complaints milord ”
” I wish to drink your blood ” his words made me frown, I watch him as he stare at me, waiting to see my reaction.
” But you’re no vampire ”
” I know that ”
” And you……” He lift his hand up, cutting me off.
” I know what I said lily ” he touch my nose, face, ne-ck and I feel no more pain, just the sensation of his touch on my body, my cheek redden and he frown ” you confuse me lily” I watch as his frown de-eperen “you react this way to my touch and then still try to run away from me” I watch him withdraw.
” Milord?”
” I know lily ” he close his eyes and sigh ” you are just too silly to know your own feeling, I told you before that you will fancy me and remain among my women but right now am telling you that you already fancy me ”
” I do not ”
” Why do you keep trying to deny it ” I said nothing and he open his eyes to look at me ” do you like seeing me try to get you to like me? It’s already done lily” he close his eyes once more ” you said it yourself, you can’t survive without me ”
I watch how he relax on the couch, his eyes closed and how air move in and out of the carriage, is it true? Is it true I fancy Lord Mammon?
Asking myself, my eyes didn’t move from his face, he look so calm, so in peace ” I doubt it ” mumbling to myself I watch him smile ” come here lily ” he sit up then tab his lap.
” Why?”
” I wish to kis-s you ” my whole face heat up at that, am never the kind to reject his kis-ses.
” But…..”
” You wish not to kis-s me?” he furrow his brows ” is that it ?”
” No I….”
” Stop thinking and come ” nodding I did as he said, sit gently on his lap and then it hit me that am wearing no un-derwear, the jacket fall off my body and the short dress pull up to my stomach……this time around my face heat up like some over ripe tomato.
I try standing up but his grip on my wai-st stop me” Lord Mammon”
” Shh” he rest his head on my ne-ck ” such a silly girl ”
