CHAPTER THIRTEEN: MAMMON’S DISAPPOINTMENT 1
Lily couldn’t help but to decline their offer ” am sorry, I can’t meet up with Lord rushkin cause…… ” One of his servants lift his hand up cutting me short.
” Lord rushkin ask for your presence miss ” he step closer, looking angry ” do not get over yourself because he ask of you, you are in no position to refuse ”
” But ”
” Shut up and move ” he growl, his dark eyes scarry ” Lord rushkin is waiting ” they push me out of the room ” people are watching, walk ” nodding my head I did as they said.
I notice Lord Mammon gaze on me but I couldn’t do anything, he will truly be angry with me, this is not my fault, maybe it was my fault for being a pushover.
Stepping into Lord rushkin chamber, they shut the door, remaining outside the room, looking around I refuse moving further, I remain close to the door, the bed place at the left hand side, they were three other doors in the room.
Lord Ruskin remain seated on the chair in the room, his gaze not leaving my face, his smile however increa-sed ” lily ” he smile ” come in, I definitely do not bite ”
” They are no other chairs milord ”
” They is a bed ”
” I do not think it’s proper for a man and a woman who are not in any relationship stay alone in a room” I mumble ” that too late at night ”
” You promised your evenings to me lily ”
” I fear I wasn’t thinking then ” I watch him stand to his feet, his hands placed behind, he walk slowly to my direction and I step back, my body touching the war.
For the second time in my life, I felt fear ” why do you fear me lily ” he stopped one Inch away from me, his brows furrow high ” you should fear Lord Mammon not me ”
” Your servants for-ced me here milord ” I look up at him ” I find it scarry to go to places which am for-ced to ”
” You must trust me, I have no idea they for-ced you ”
” Milord” I look down, avoiding his gaze ” I wish to leave ”
” I thought we are friends ”
” I do not think it will be wise milord ” what is it that Lord Ruskin want from me? Do he truly like me? Surely you don’t for-ce someone to friends with you or for-ce friends to stay in your chambers…..looking up at him again I mumble ” you are a Lord and am Lord Mammon concubine, I can never dream to be friends with you ”
” Lily ”
” Milord I…..”
” Choose me lily ” he lean close to my face, I could feel his breath on my face ” I promise to take good care of you, your baths, breakfast…. everything will be handled ”
” Milord”
” Marry me ” his gaze burn into mine, he look so serious ” be my first and only wife ”
” I can’t ” mumbling I shake my head, angry that he pin me to this door, no way to go ” I can not dream that high, concubines remain concubines ”
” Have Lord Mammon touch you ”
” No ”
” kis-s you?” His words made me blus-h and I quickly shake my head
” No ”
” Which means” his hands move to my cheek, he touch me so gently as he smile ” you’re innocent, am happy ” he smiled so warmly that my heart felt it warmth ” please fear not lily, I just wanted us to chat and take some tea ” he point to the small table set, I never noticed it ” the tea might be getting cold”
” Milord ” I mumble ” I fear it’s too late for tea ”
” Then let me walk you to your chamber ” nodding my head, he smile and happily walked me back, he told me a lot of things about himself, his sister which will soon marry Lord Mammon and of course how much he loves me.
Each of his words made my heart flutter” and here we are ” stopping at the door he kis-s my cheek ” goodnight lily ”
” Good night milord ”
” Call me Lord Ruskin” he smile ” when we are alone ”
” I couldn’t possibly do that ”
He nod ” whatever you feel comfortable with ” I watch him walk away before i step into my new room, shutting the door I begin humming a new sound but for some reason, the room seem really cold and icy.
Turning on the lamp I stop walking, Lord Mammon is seated right on my bed, his expression is one I can not read, I have always been good at reading people but Lord Mammon has always proven difficult with his expression ” milord?”
He said nothing, I watch him stand to his feet, he kept walking forward and for the first time I step back Infront of Lord Mammon, I watch his angry I crease with each step I take away from him.
” Milord I didn’t mean….” He lift his hands up to shut me up, we stand one inch from each other, his gaze keep burning into mine without saying a word ” milord ” mumbling I watch him gasp.
” Lily ” he finally spoke ” do you fancy Lord Ruskin ”
” Milord I couldn’t possibly answer that ”
” I want a truthful answer only”
Bowing my head I mumble ” yes milord ” rising my head to look at him, I gasp at the look of disappointment on his face
” You pick him over me” Lord Mammon step back “you will probably think I will let you be with him lily, you think I will let you go to him that easily ” I watch how angry he look, steam emitting from his body.
I truly was playing with fire.
” Milord” I step back “you’re not being nice ”
” Nice?” He growl then grab my arm pulling me close ” why should I be nice to someone who fancy another ” he growl ” you tell me, why should I ” his grip ti-ghten that tears drop from my eyes cause of the pain.
” Because you said you will make me fall for you ” looking at him, more tears fall from my eyes ” you’re making me fear you milord, you’re making me hate you ”

Lord Mammon let go of her arm as tears begin to drop from her eyes, I watch how she rob her arm, her gaze not leaving the ground ” Lily ” calling out her name, she lift her head up, the tears haven’t stop falling ” do I look like someone that care if you hate me?” I wrap my hands around her ne-ck ” you’re one foolish being ”
” Lord Mammon ” she mumble my name and my anger increase, no body has ever dare to call me by my name expect the seven deadly sins….no one else has done that ” you’re hurting me ”
” I do not care !” Growling I start to lift her from the ground, I watch how she struggle to breath “it will be better for you to die than to end up in another man arms ” my eyes redden ” you being naive is a trait that’s stupid, my concubine can not be in another man chamber that too late at night ” when I notice her struggle is losing stamina, I let her fall to the ground.
Watching her cough I bend to her level ” Lily I will treat you nicely if you know your place, whenever I forbid a thing you follow my orders ”
” Or what Lord Mammon ” I know she is saying my name to anger me ” you will kill me?”
” What ” smiling I fake a laugh ” do you think killing you will put me in a bad situation, silly lily ” touching her cheek, I watch how she frown “hate me all you want but one thing is clear……you will always remain mine ” She said nothing and I lean closer, I notice her heartbeat increase ” what? do you fear me now lily ”
” No Lord Mammon ” she look at me with anger and I love it, the look of fearlessness in her is arousing….. I definitely am a sick man.
” kis-s me lily ” her eyes widen from my words ” I remember teaching you how to kis-s, I want you to do that right by now all”
” Lord Mammon, I fear…. ”
” Right now ” growling, she flinch then nod before leaning close, our nose touch but not our li-ps, I watch how she close her eyes…..she must really hate me if kis-sing me makes her tremble this much.
But I don’t care.
Closing the gap between us, our li-ps connect and she gasp from surprise, using that time I dive my tongue into her mouth, she taste so sweet, I have never taste something as this before.
It’s like am drowning in honey, sweet honey.
My hands move to her face as I de-eperen the kis-s while she moa-n into my mouth, the only sound in the room was that of our li-ps, for the first time I couldn’t get enough, I don’t wish to stop kis-sing her, her li-ps are so soft, her moa-ns are sounds I wish to keep listening to.
” Milord” she moa-n the moment I break the kis-s, our breathing getting steady, her whole face red, li-ps swollen.
” Tomorrow you will meet Clara, she will teach you things concubine should do and not do ” leaning close I bite her lower li-p, then a quick de-eper kis-s before standing to my feet and leaving her room.
Closing the door I close my eyes, it’s certain, I know for a fact that she hates me now, at first it angered me but I care less….all that matters is that she is mine and will forever be mine.
Moving to queen Luna room, I step in and shut the door, I watch her turn on the lamp immediately, her eyes widen as she notice me taking off my clothes, kis-sing lily did all kinds of things to me.
” Milord ”
” Shhhh ” climbing her bed na-ked, I was pleased to find her na-ked ” let me stay with you tonight ” I watch her eyes fill with joy, that’s how it should be…..even lily should be happy am giving this much attention to her.
thr-usting de-eper into her, I close my eyes and all I could imagine was lily face, bright red, li-ps parting as she look confused.
And that lead me to a conclusion that I have to bed her or I might lose my mind.
Lily couldn’t un-derstand why her heart will not stop beating, it was just a kis-s but in her wildest dreams she never expected one to be this hot, sweet, addictive.
Yes I am angry but am also hot, the part between my legs won’t stop itching, my bre-ast nip-ples seem to have hardened and my breathing is still not steady.
Is this one of his charms, one of his spells to tie me close to him forever? When Lord Ruskin words come back to me, my face sadden….he was happy Lord Mammon haven’t kis-s or touch me but that’s not true anymore.
Before I could process what’s happening, am crying, am really naive aren’t I….I can’t tell who is bad or good, do I even have the right to choose, I mean am Lord Mammon concubine and he is right.
His concubine shouldn’t meet another man late at night, it’s all wrong and i knew that, I knew that pretty well but Lord Ruskin makes my heart is flutter, he makes me me smile and laugh, he truly cares for me.
Hugging my knee to myself I keep on crying, crying because I know for a fact that from tomorrow I will have to avoid meeting Lord Ruskin, sniffing I didn’t stop myself from tearing up till I fell asleep.
Opening my eyes I look round the room, am on the bed, I wasn’t on the bed last night, turning to my left I stare at Lord Mammon face, his eyes closed, my eyes couldn’t help but to lower to those li-ps he use to invade mine yesterday ” do you wish to do it again ” he mumble while opening his eyes and my face heat up ” I mean kis-s me ”
” No milord ” he lean close and I move back ” how did you get in my room?” Asking I watch him smile.
” After spending time with queen Luna, I decided to sleep in my chambers but your door wasn’t locked, I saw you laying on the floor and then I decided to help you lily ” he lean close that I had to swallow from how my heart poun-der ” I had no idea when I fall asleep”‘
He place his hands on my thigh and I gasp, I watch him smile ” what is it ”
” No…No… Nothing ” stammering I jump off the bed ” it’s late Lord Mammon, I have to hurry and meet Clara, thanks for your help ” running out of the room, I didn’t stop till I arrive in the servant quarters.
” Lily?”
Turning I stare at martin ” brother martin” smiling I give him a morning hug ” did you miss me ”
” Lily, do you forget your duties, you didn’t work yesterday and today is the ball, many work…..”
Cutting him short I mumble while running away” Forgive me ”
” Where are you headed ”
” Miss Clara ” yelling I escaped his presence before he start one of his boring lectures, finding miss Clara in the kitchen I run into her arms.
” What did you do lily ” she growl, she look angry ” the king seem pissed when he ordered me to teach you how to be a concubine properly ” I watch her use the spoon to hit my head ” when will you learn lily ”
” Ouch!!”
