Kylie watched as the students went out of the house one after the other.
“Thank you for coming!” She said, leading them out of the house.
“Great party Mrs Kylie” they commented as they left.

“Hey baby. I’ll see you tomorrow huh?” Gabriel muttered.
“Sure baby. Bye!” She said and ki-ssed him. He smiled and left the house.
“Thank you ma’am” he whispered to Kylie and left.

Kylie saw that everyone was out except Charlie and Hazel.
She slammed the door and walked into the house.
“Everyone’s out?” She asked and Charlie nodded.
“Thanks mom, for the party. See you tomorrow” Allison said and turned to leave.
“Wait Allison!” Jasper said as he walked down the stairs.
“Josh’s asleep?” She asked and Jasper nodded.
“Good”
“What’s going on?” Allison asked.
“Uh, we have something to tell you” she said and folded her arms.
Allison watched as Charlie, Hazel and his parents walked towards her. She wondered what the matter was.
“Is it about Gabriel?” She asked and her mother chuckled.
Kylie walked towards her and removed her necklace.
“I guess this won’t be a burden to you anymore” she said.
Allison felt strange for some seconds. She had to seat on a chair to get herself.
“What’s happening?”
Jasper squ-atted in front of his daughter.
“Allison, we are going to tell you somethings now and you have to believe us”
“What’s that?” She gro-aned.
“First of all, you are not human”
As Allison heard that, she raised her head and stared at her mother. She had a mocking smile on her face.
“What do you mean mom?”
“You are a hybrid. You have vampire, witch and a little bit of Specie blood in you” she said.
“What’s that?” She asked again, this time her head was aching more.
“And I’m your step brother. Also a hybrid”
Allison sprung up and screamed.
“Stop! Stop! Stop saying all of this nonsense. It doesn’t make any sense at all” she said and ran upstairs.
“Allison…” Kylie called out and wanted to run after her but Charlie stopped her.
“I’ll take care of this mom” she said and went to her room.
Charlie knocked the door softly, calling out her name.
“Allison?”
“Go away! I don’t want to see you!” She yelled, crying into the pillow.
He didn’t listen to her. He forced himself into her room and walked towards her.
“Allison?”
She sat up and threw her pillow at him.
“I said to go away!” She yelled.
“You need to calm down Allison” he said and moved towards her.
“Why? Why should I? On my birthday, I’m receiving stupid news about me being a witch or a f*cking vampire and some goddamn… Do you expect me to believe that sh!t?” She asked.
“I know it’s unbelievable but you just have to. Your mom, I mean our mom is protecting you from dangers of other Specie!”
“What do you mean?” She asked.
“You’ll understand everything when you come downstairs. Mom will explain everything to you clearly” he said.
Allison just stared at him and swallowed hard. She wiped the tears off her eyes and sniffed in.

“Good morning baby” Kylie said to Allison as she brou-ght out a jug of juice from the from.
“Don’t talk to me mom” she said and poured the juice into the gla-ss. She returned the jug to the fridge and sipped from the juice.
“I know you are upset with me and..”
“Upset? Did you just say upset? I’m mad mom, I’m so mad at you. I just wish you never told me all of this. You should have just let me live my life the way it was” she said.
Kylie smiled and sat on the counter.
“This was how I was mad at my mom years ago. I wished she also never told me about it but I caught her using her witch power” she paused and used her telekinesis power to take the juice from Allison. She rolled her eyes and folded her arms. She watched as her mother sipped from the juice.
“She had to tell me that I was a demigod and that the vampires wanted me dead. I also discovered that my father wasn’t dead and he was supposed to be the head of the vampire. His cousin killed his parents so that he could become the head. He also killed my mom, your grandmother because she made me pas-sthe death age, eighteen. I was the first demigod to pas-sthe death age. Why do you think some of your schoolmates likes you and you are so popular in school?”
“How should I know that?” Allison rolled her eyes.
“Some students in your school are witches, vampires or werewolves”
Allison scoffed.
“What? There are also wolves… Ah jeez!”
“I was the one who brou-ght the three of them together. They were enemies then, so they call me their role model. They know you are my daughter and that’s why they want to be close to you”
“I’m sick of listening to all this, I have to meet with Gabriel” she walked away from the kitchen.
Kylie swiftly ran and stopped by the door.
“You have to learn how to use your powers to protect yourself” she said.
“Whatever!” She shoved her mother aside and left.
Kylie watched as she left, sipping her juice.
“You’ll be back Allison”

Allison went on a date with Gabriel. They were both silent.
“You haven’t touched your food” he said to her.
“I don’t want to hide anything from you. You are my boyfriend and…”
“What do you have to say Allison?” He asked, giving her a questioning look.
“Mom told me something last night” she started.
“What’s that?” He asked and dropped his fork, ready to listen to her.
“She…”
“Wait, has she took off your necklace?” He asked.
Allison looked down and stared back at him.
“Yes? She has?” She said and furrowed her eyebrows.
“How do you know?”
“I know a lot of things. Well I did know your mom was a demigod, the first to pas-sthe death age and..”
“Wait you knew all of this? F*ck!” Allison said almost yelling as she threw her napkin on the table.
“Wait baby, what do you expect? I couldn’t tell you myself. Everyone knew about it, including Sean. That was why he wouldn’t date you because you were his step sister”
“You should have told me, I know it ha-rd to believe. I still can’t believe all of that she said now” she cried into her palm.
“I’m sorry Allison. Don’t be upset with me”
“Why shouldn’t I?” She asked, raising her head.
“Ah!” Gabriel was frightened. He moved back from her and looked round.
“What?” She asked, squeezing her face.
“Your eyes… We need to leave immediately!” He said and covered her with his arm. They walked to his car and quickly got in.
“What happened to my eyes?” She asked.
Gabriel brou-ght down the front mirror.
“See for yourself” he said.
She stared at her reflection and shot her mouth wide open.
“Why is it gold? It’s not supposed to be gold?”
“Just relax. I need to call Sean”
“Why him? What does it mean? Am I gonna die?”
“Relax Allison… Hey dude!”

Few minutes later, Allison, Sean and Gabriel were in the woods.
Allison just sat on a fallen wood, leaning on her palm.
“You are hungry for blood Allison, it’s nothing to worry about” Sean said for the second time.
“I get that okay? How do you expect me to drink blood? How disgusting!” She said.
“Well, you have to”
They turned and saw Kylie.
“I’m glad you are here mom”
“I came as soon as soon as I got your call” she replied with a smiley face.
“She has refused to drink blood from the animal I hunted for her. She said it’s disgusting”
Kylie scoffed.
“That’s okay, I’ll make her drink the blood” she said and took a pen knife that she hid in her boot.
“What are you doing mom?” Sean asked Kylie as she moved closer to Allison.
“Yeah, what are you doing? Nothing can allow me touch that stinky animal” she said, showing a face of disgust.
“Just step back” she said and cut her palm with the knife.
She let the blood drop in front of Allison, making her more hungrier.
Allison sniffed in har-der , following the trail of blood that her mother left leading to the animal.
No one told her to devour the animal before she did. They all watched as Allison su-cked out the blood from the animal. There was no sign showing that she would stop. It was like she hasn’t tasted blood in months.
“Allison?” Kylie called out.
She couldn’t answer, her mouth was busy doing some other work.
“I think we should get her more blood” Sean said and Kylie nodded.
“You go that way while I will go that way” she said.
“I’ll just stay here and watch her, just in case” Gabriel said and sat on the wood.
“Good!” They chorused and walked away.
