EXCLUSIVELY ON DREAME
“are you sure you took the last bag?”
That was Sarah asking eighteen years old Kylie who was anxiously waiting for her mother to get into the car already.
“yes Mom, let’s go already” Kylie frowned.
Sasha walked out of the house looking young as usual.
Kylie didn’t get why Sasha didn’t get old over the past years.
she came down from the car and ran to hug Sasha.
“I’ll miss you grandma”
“I’ll miss you too Kylie. be careful while in the city. there are a lot of bad people there” Sasha warned.
Kylie nodded smiling. her mother came out with some bags and handed it over to Kylie.
she grabbed it and went to stuff it in the booth.
“bye Sasha” Sarah said as sbe wrapped her arms round her.
“take care of Kylie”
Sarah nodded and left.
she entered into the car and signalled the cab man to drive.
He started the engine and hit the road.
Sarah waved at her grandma as the car moved.

she brou-ght out her sungla-sses and put them on.
Sarah have a sudden laugh.
“what’s that for?” she asked Kylie.
“I’m going to be a very different person when in the city”
she replied slowly.
“okay, okay”

Kylie was just eighteen. she was very pretty and beautiful. she had black long hair and blue eyes. her eyelashes were very long.
her li-ps was pink and averagely small.
anytime she smiled, she show her cute dimples.

She was shocked to see how the city was. tall buildings, beautiful cars and beautiful people.
“are we there yet?” Kylie asked her mother.
“almost” she replied.
they drove into a very beautiful compound.
Kylie was the first to alight from the car. she took off her gla-sses to have a better view.
“this is crazy” she almost yelled.
Sarah took the luggages down and paid the driver.
he drove away slowly till he left the compound.
“do you like it?”
Sarah asked Kylie who was looking round the house.
“like?? I love it” Kylie replied.
she has been yelling since she got here. that was to show how happy she was.

they finally got into the house. it was more beautiful in the inside. There was a TV in the living room and a beautiful balcony.
Kylie ran upstairs, looking for room.
a black cat suddenly ran towards her. she picked it up and played with it.
“city is much more better than whatever that place is called”
Kylie mumbled un-der her breath.
she would only miss her grandma.
she had no friends over there.
she finally found her room. it was painted with her favourite colour, purple.
there was a large bed and a table mirror.
she was happier when she saw a bathroom in the room.
“Kylie!!” she heard her mother voice.
“coming mom!!”
she ran downstairs with her cat.

They arranged the whole house that evening.
while eating dinner, Sarah gave Kylie a gift.
she unwrapped it and found a phone.
“finally gotten a phone”
Kylie grabbed it and admired her phone.
“look Moon, I’ve gotten a phone”
“you’ve given it a name already” Sarah smiled as she took a bite out of her apple.
Kylie nodded and fed her cat.
“tomorrow, you will resume school. I’ve made all the arrangements already”
“okay mom”
Kylie replied.

Kylie woke up pretty late. She was woken up by Moon. it lic-ked her ne-ck which tickled her. She didn’t sleep last night because she was with her phone.
she quickly had her bath and picked an outfit.
she wore a blue jean trouser and a pink top.
she let her long hair fall on her shoulders and finally, her sungla-sses.
she grabbed her phone and black bag and head out of the room.
she ran downstairs and saw her mom.
“I was about to call you”
“yeah” she replied smiling.
“have your breakfast let’s go”
“I’m fine mom, let’s go already”
Kylie went out.
“okay!!”
they took a cab and arrived at S.K high school.
she exhaled de-eperly before alighting from the car.
Sarah also came down and stared at Kylie.
“can you take care of everything?”
“yeah mom” she replied to her mom’s question.
Sarah smiled and entered into the taxi and drove away.
“high school, here i come”
Kylie adjusted her bag and went into the building.
she noticed that some were busy staring at her but she didn’t care a bit.
she was not going to be that simple Kylie.
she’s going to be ha-rd and daring.
she threw door open and saw a tag on the first door by the left.
‘principal’s office’
she smi-rked and knocked softly.
“come in” Kylie heard a man’s voice.
she twisted the handle of the door and entered into the office.
her eyes met with the short plump man with gla-sses.
“you must be Kylie”
he said pointing at Kylie.
“yeah I am” she said and stood in front of him.
Even if she was a bad girl, she knew about social etiquette.
“please have a seat, while i complete your registration”
Kylie sat as her eyes scanned the whole office.

After some minutes, the principal was done.
he took her to her cla-ssroom.
her heart was beating fast. this is what happens whenever she was to meet new people.
“hello cla-ss. you have a new student. Kylie”
the principal announced.
Everyone gazed at her. they weren’t showing any expression of concern.
the principal shook his head and left the cla-ssroom.
Kylie stared at the board and saw the subject that they were learning.
History.
the teacher stared at Kylie.
“do you mind for a quick introduction?”
she asked.
Kylie took off her gla-sses.
“is it necessary?”
the teacher shook her head.
Kylie smiled and walked pa-ss her new cla-ssmates looking for a chair.
she found an empty seat close to a girl.
she sat and brou-ght out her books.
“alright cla-ss. let’s continue with the history of world war two”
the whole cla-ss gro-aned and leaned back on the chair.
“hi, I’m Lily”
the girl close to Kylie greeted.
Kylie smiled.
“I’m Kylie”
“let’s meet after the cla-ss”
“sure” Kylie replied and continued listening to the teacher.

She became close to lily and another girl Cindy.
Cindy was a little bit weird.
as they walked into the school cafe.
they bought some food and head to a table.
Kylie didn’t know how it was to have friends.
but she was enjoying their company.
“i love your ne-cklace Kylie” Cindy said.
Kylie tou-ched her ne-ck and smiled.
“thank you. I’ve had this on since i was a child”
they all gisted as they ate, talking about boys and some other things.
“my brother is so silly. can you believe he wore his bathroom sli-ppers to school and didn’t notice it?”
Lily bursted into laughter. Kylie gave a sudden laugh.
“where is he?”
” he went home to change, that was why he wasn’t present at history cla-ss”

Kylie noticed how close everyone is. they had friends. no one was lonely.
Suddenly, there was a scream from the entrance of the cafe.
Kylie got scared for a second.
“what was that?” she asked.
the girls stared at the door and saw Jackson.
“he is here” Cindy said laughing.
Kylie didn’t want to ask who it was.
she stared for herself and saw that some cheerleaders were the one screaming because a guy entered into the Cafe.
Kylie hissed and sipped from her juice.
“hey Jackson”
“Cindy, you need to lend me your note”
Kylie heard a cute voice and raised her gaze.
she saw a cute guy with pink li-ps and brown hair standing opposite her.
“this must be Cindy’s brother” she thought.
“Don’t be rude Jackson. we have a new girl. Kylie” Cindy said to her brother.
Jackson stared ag Kylie and turned his gaze.
“I’ve seen her, now the book”
“if you don’t say hi, I won’t give you the book” She said.
Jackson rolled his eyes and stared at Kylie again.
“hi Kylie”
Kylie raised her gaze and stared at him. everyone was standing staring at their table.
“hi Jackson” Kylie said with her small voice.
Cindy brou-ght out her note and handed it over to Jackson.
“thank you” he grabbed the note with full for-ce and left.
“why do they follow him?”
Kylie asked with a glimpse of annoyance in her voice.
“they are my brother’s fans. he plays basketball. girls love guys who plays basketball” Cindy said proudly.
“he is the god of the school” Lily added.
Kylie nodded and continue sipping from her juice.

school hours was over. the student loved this time of the day.
she went to her locker and grabbed her bag.
she wore her sungla-sses and slam the locker door.
She walked out of the school and saw her mother waving at her from a distance.
she smiled and ran to meet her mother.
they went back home.
Kylie told her mother everything that happened in school and didn’t miss anything.
“why didn’t you introduce yourself?” Sarah asked.
Kylie leaned on her chair watching her mother as she stir the sauce in the pot.
“it wasn’t necessary mom, besides, I didn’t want to be popular in the school”
Sarah shook her head and told kylie to set up the table.
“yes Mom”
Kylie ate and went to her room. she did her homework and threw herself to the bed. Moon climbed the bed and laid beside moon.
“goodnight moon”
Kylie turned and tried to catch some sleep.
