Sheba’s POV
It been exactly four days he returned home, I have thought about ways to punish him, nothing c@m£ to my head.
Maya have been behaving like a mad dog, barking at me for ma-king the Queen faint and also casting a spell on Edward.
The Queen and her husband have been avoiding me like plague.
Edward have been acting crazy, he did exactly what I commanded him to do, I was enjoying it though but Maya had been a pain in the as-s, she doesn’t want me to do my thing in peace, she had faced me once asking me to do my worst.
It has simply being a terrible four days.
Sitting on a couch, I re-moved the dirt in my nails, then, I heard heavy steps.
I shut my eyes, taking the scent in.
I could tell for sure that Laiza was in the sitting room with me, I couldn’t say where exactly.
“Show your face” I demanded standing on my foot.
No response.
The steps I heard were of the priests and priestesses, they c@m£ to stand before me, obviously boiling.
I ignored them, falling into my seat. They had no powers over me, none.
“Bring the royal family at once” A priest ordered the guard standing behind my chair.
He bowed and exited the room.
I crossed my legs, at the same time shaking it.
I waited to see whatever drama they were here to perform.
quic-k, the five of them descended the stairs.
Each person taking his/her comfortable position.
Edward initially sat next to me but I stood up and sat elsewhere.
“We are here to let Edward out of the bondage this witch put him in” A priestess said, the oldest.
My eyes wi-de-ned at once.
I wouldn’t let that happen.
“Good, enough is enough” Maya concurred.
In the past four days, I have used Edward like a slave, he did almost all the chores in the house while the maid just watch.
What about beating? I have had him kneel in front of me while I beat the spirit of r@p£ out of him.
“You would do no such thing, this is my temple” I roared.
Smoke emitted from my nose, I was blinded in anger, I got re-ady to strike anyone whom tried to break him free.
“It’s my templeeeeeeeee” Her voice echoed.
In the history of man and for the first time, Laiza showed herself to human. Everyone saw her, she stood at a corner of the sitting room, basking in cloudy thick smoke.
They couldn’t see her face because her long hair were poured down, the cloud was so thick too but for the first time, someone aside aside an eswa saw her.
I was frightened.
Not because I was scared for my life but because she doesn’t do this, she seems to be interested in this case, now that she had angrily crawled out of her shell into the open, I fear her judgment.
The maids and guards had ran, the worsh!ppers ordered everyone to stare at the floor with their eyes shut. They themselves turned their backs on her.
It was only I and her facing each other.
Right from where she stood, she s£nt fire from the ti-p of her f!nger straight into Edward’s soul.
I fainted at the sight.

Maya’s POV
I heard him screamed like a knife was pas-sed un-der his throat, I jumped out of where I sat, rushing to gr-ab him.
My eyes meet the eyes of this goddess, long gold hair, sharp curvy nails, blue eyes, red flowing go-wn, silky skin.
When our eyes met, I saw surprise written all over her, I could re-ad what she thought “$h!t, she saw my face”
Staring at her for seconds, I suddenly remembered I have my brother to save, I checked his pulse, he was still breathing but pale.
Then I felt something strike me, I wanted to talk but I couldn’t, I choked.
The worsh!ppers kept warning everyone to stay where they were and never slid their eyes open.
That goddess I guess was Laiza walked up to me, she gave me a hand and I fearfully took it, fear gr!pp£dme, I opened my mouth to talk but I g@sped instead.
Then she looked me straight in the eyes, I saw a running stream in those weird ba-lls of hers, I slowly went on my kneels, pas-sing out.

Edward’s POV
I woke.
The Queen said I have been unconscious for a day, a whole 24hours.
I had a terrible dream, fortunately I remembered it.
I saw myself lost in a forest, after walking alone, I finally met a lady who walked with me. She happens to be a spirit who knew exactly where I was going but still misled me, she dumped me in the middle of a running river.
Then, I was pu-ll-ed into the water by an unknown f0rç£, un-derneath the water, I was maltreated, flogged by unknown f0rç£s.
Then, the Queen c@m£, I found Favour in her sight, she gave me her hands and I held on to them, I was clothed in beautiful ropes, this Queen happened to be Sheba.
I don’t know what that dream meant, in that dream, Sheba appeared thrice. She was the spirit that dumped me in the middle of the ocean, it was still her that clothed me un-derneath the water and when I requested to return to earth, a precious sacrifice was demanded by the demons of the air so that I would arrive home safely. She gave her right eye, something very precious.
I couldn’t interpret the dream but I sure know it had a meaning, why must I have to sleep that long and see all those things in my dream?
Yes, how did I even pas-s out?
I remembered Laiza was here, I didn’t see her face though but she appeared and I had to kneel on my kneels, facing the couch, I bent my n£¢k low and shut my eyes.
But suddenly, I felt fire burning me, I screamed so loud and I heard two voices screaming, Maya’s and Sheba’s.
I rushed out of the room, to check on Maya.
She had also been unconscious, I held her hand and it felt cold, as cold as ice.
I j£rked calling the attention of my parents, they c@m£ running, fear gr!pp£dme, maybe she was dead.
To my amusement, they said she have been as cold as that since yesterday.
I jumped towards Sheba’s room when I was told she hadn’t regained consciousness too.
I can’t believe we all fainted.
What happened to each one of us?
Sheba fainted?
Queen Sheba? Sounds funny or was it strange?
When I reached her room, she was h0t, so h0t that I couldn’t even sit on her be-d, it was oozing heat.
I heard she have been moved from the be-d to the ba-re floor just to ease the h0tness but it went h0tter, the floor of the entire palace bec@m£ h0t and she was transferred back to the be-d.
I inhaled before leaving her room.

Maya’s POV
And I saw him swam out of the ocean, I have been trailing him for days.
All the time he had spent in the forest, I was behind him watching.
He was a prince, a prince with a bright future, he had a mission but missed the way to his destination.
I was behind him, killing the enemies and weird animals trying to devour him.
He met this lady, a non human, she was suppose to guide him but she misun-derstood him, she had so much powers so she lured him and dumped him in the ocean.
I was helpless, all I could do was wait close by to see if he would ever come out alive.
Then days later, he walked out in beautiful ropes, I met him at once, he said a beautiful Queen paid the price, he claimed the storm was over that his enemies have been killed, all of them.
I didn’t ask futhure questions, we reached the promise land safely due to the price the said Queen paid.
In his land, I was awarded for bringing him home, I was made comfortable, I had the life I never thought of having.
The Queen was Sheba.
The prince was him, Edward.
And me, it was me guiding him behind, in tarter clothes, I was actually a destiny helper, the one who unraveled the mystery.
“Go now, finish the work you started” An older woman had said when I asked to leave the prince’s land for my land.
Then, I woke up, ice broke off my b©dy.
I felt like a load was placed on my shoulders, I yelled.
I was the only one in the room, un-der the duvet.
I realised it was midnight, around 3am.
Edward was the first to arrive the room, his jaw dropped when he saw that I was frozen and defreezing.
His wi-de-ned eyes and asked “What’s this?”
I responded on time “I don’t know’
My parents ran in, I separated my hands like I was going to fly in a minute, I watched the ice break off while some turned water revea-ling my real skin while soaking the be-d.
