“Doctor, hurry up! The little girls heartbeats is dropping…we tried our best to revive her but it kept decreasing!” A nurse barged into the office panicking.
We both stared at the nurse for some sec.
“What the hell are you waiting for? Hurry up and go treat her!!” I shouted at the doctor.
“Get your hands off my collar” He mumbled.
I briskly let go of his Gawd damnit collar.
He adjusted his collar staring leisurely at me.
“Just pray we have some kidney, left in the storage” He growled.
“Go fvck yourself” I pronounced as we both exist his office.
THREE DAYS LATER.
Betty’s health isn’t getting any better..
Her heaetbreat keeps declining at each expiration of the day.
She’s stable now due to the oxygen bag.
To make matters worst. The hospital don’t have any preservative kidney in store.
I’ve been searching and looking for a kidney Dona but no suggestion has seems to come yet.
I got to her ward after an uneasy days at the office.
I waddled towards her ward.. but ceased abruptly.
Recollecting I haven’t cheek upon Rivera..
I got to her ward, but she was still unconscious.

I strolled towards her bed, and sat beside her.

I stretched yawning so loud, while opening my eyes.
I sat on my bútts, confusedly glancing around just to take conscious of my environment.
The heavy smells of drugs, antiseptic undertones of artificial fragrance.
Without thinking further I instantly figure it out.
“Am in the hospital,no doubt.
Staring above me, just to notice the drips bag dripping down my vain.
“Betty!!” My mind flashed.
“She must probably be in the hospital, I know now I’ve got another chance of escape. But I need to see unicorn. I can’t just abandoned her.
Instantly, a nurse strode into my ward.
On sighting me she halted in shock.
“Surgeon Rivera???” She addresses startling me.
We stared at each other for some sec.
“How the heck did she know me?”
“You know me?” I signed.
“So it’s truly you!! OMG! It’s you!!” She shrieked.
“Can you stop confusing me?” I retorted.
“I’ve not meet you in person, but you see? Everyone knows about a great surgeon as you… Couple with the fact that CITY hospital, aired your photo…with a huge reward for whosoever that is gonna find your whereabout” she blurted.
“Oh I see!” I scoffed.
“Do you know about a little girl, brought alongside me to the hospital?” I asked.
“Yes, but she’s is between life and death?” She said. I raised my eyebrows.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“You see, she has kidney failure, her kidneys are so spoilt, that it needed urgent transplant.. if not she…..”
“Stop talking!” I motion her to stop raising up my palms.
I was pinned so hard..
“Why did she have to suffer this Much, she has a multi Billionaire as a father, but her life isn’t looking like it
Must life always have to treat her this way?” I fummed.
“Why aren’t the doctors operating on her already?” I Fleered.
“Because, the hospital don’t have a prescriptive kidney in the store,as of moment” she uttered with a shrugged.
“I see!” I snarled.
“Can I see the doctor please?” I questioned.
“Yes ma’am!”
“Can you help, pull off the drips from my hand?”
“Yes ma’am!
She help me pulled off the drips slowly.
I hissed in pain…
“So sorry ma’am” She echoed, whipping off the blood.
She led me out of the ward.

Jayden got to Betty’s ward, as all sort of life support machine was connected to her..
She was lying still without moving.
He seldomly feel sorry for Betty, but watching her fighting for her life this way broke his heart.
He might not love or show concern towards her. But she’s still his flesh and blood.
His first fruit.
“Boss! What if we go out and kill some of your debtors? Then get rid of their kidney?” Ray who was by the door suggested.
Jayden’s instantly raised his head smirking deviously.
“Why haven’t he thought about this since the previous day?” He thought.
“Go ahead, bring as much kidney as you can” He urged Ray.
“That won’t be necessary, Mr Jayden we already have a willingly dona” Doctor Dean said stepping Into the room.
“Hummed?” Jayden’s hummed in awe.
“Who is the person?” He coldly asked.
And instantly Rivera stepped in.
“Here she is!” Doctor Dean beam with smile.
Rivera ran towards Betty and bursted into tears. Seeing her condition.
Her once rosy cheeks was dull and
Pale.
She looked at the life support machine and saw how low her heartbeat was.
“Am sorry baby, am so sorry! You’ve to go through so much” She cried k!ssing the back of Betty’s palms.
Jayden, sat quietly without say much.
Seems he was tongue tied for the moment.
“We don’t have much time left, we need to take you both to the theatre” The doctor said.
“I need to have some words with her, so excuse us” Jayden husky voice sounded.
“Be snappy with whatsoever you’ve got to say” Doctor Dean eyed Jayden.
“His head must roll on the floor, after all these” Jayden thought aloud, shooting dagger at the handsome doctor.
“If looks could kill” doctor Dean sm-irked heading out of the Ward.
Once they were gone..
Jayden pulled Rivera who was still crying beside Betty by the arm.
“Why are you doing these?” He asked grabbing her tiny waist..
Rivera was startled by his sudden action.
“Answer me, why are you doing these?” He asked once more peering at her.
“Why am I doing this?” Rivera shrugged.
“Am doing what I think is right” Rivera huffed some invisible air.
“Let go of me please” She wiggles to set free from his holds.
“No matter what you do, I won’t love you. You will forever be my s*x doll” Jayden chuckled..

returned back hospital the previous day along Lana.
Don’t know why mum insisted she accompany me home.
the next morning I prepare for work.
I just couldn’t stop thinking about Rivera. I think I will go see Mario once more.

I entered my room only to find lana lieing on my bed seductively.

This is so funny, I thought women are supposed to help women but how come they are always against each other.

I waited at the emergency door.
Impatiently and nervously.
Praying for my two preys to be okay.
I shuffled through my hairs with my hands, my whole body was sweaty.
It’s been hours since the operation kicked off.
But the doctors hasn’t come out of the emergency room.
This is the first time in so many days am becoming restless.
The last time I was In this situation was eight years ago.
When Savannah was in a painful labor.
Someone tapped my shoulders. Startling me,and breaking my chains of thought.
I turned around, just to see doctor Dean.
“Congratulations, Mr Jayden the operation was a success” He grin softly
Just then, the unconscious Rivera was rolled passed me.
“Why is she unconscious?” I clinched my ???? fist.
“Calm your nerves, she isn’t some sort of robot or an alien she needs time to recover.” He chuckled.
“How about Betty?” I questioned.
“She’s out of danger for now, but still unconscious also, her system needs to adjust to the new kidney.”
“Can I see her now?”
“Yes sure, but one more thing make sure you take good care of the two ladies intensely this time on” He mumbled.

I really thank aunt Rivera for giving me one of her kidney.
She’s just like my superhero. She’s my savior.
Ever since I got back from the hospital, dad has been acting strangely towards me.
Which is quite unusual..
First he repainted my room, got me a bigger bed and stuck my wardrobe.
He got so many fairy tales books for me.
And now he got me a car????
Is he kidding me?
He can’t buy me with all those gift.
I won’t ever forgive him for all he’s done to me.
Right now I and aunt River is seating at the dinning table.
About having our breakfast..
Which was tomatoes muchroom, fried eggs and tea.

Adjusting my tie as I descended the stair case.
I know I have to apologise to Betty and Rivera.
But I can’t stoop so low to do that!
After all, I don’t see what I did wrong in the first place.
