I stood out in the entertainment center. Looking around at how everyone was celebr@ting.
“Michelle is this how the show normally works?” I asked collecting a drink from a pas-sing waiter.
“Yes Rose, as you can see you’re now famous in acting dramas just like me but you still nee-d a lot of ha-rd work to get to where I am now” he said and I nodded.
I looked around and saw a guy who girls had full all over him.
“Michael, who is that guy over there?” I asked pointing at him.
“Oh that’s Mr Ling Ronnie , he is the leader of the Brooklyn group and also a very famous business man” he said and I nodded cranking my teeths.
“He looks so handsome and seems so familiar to me… it’s feels like I’ve meet him some where” I said to myself looking at him.
“Mr Michelle some people want to speak to you about your performance on your last drama” his as-sistant said as he walked up to us.
“Excuse me I’ll be right back” he said and I nodded.
“Just go and meet them, I’ll be waiting for you” I said and he smiled walking away with his as-sistant.
Immediately he was gone I decided to go dish out something to eat.
I walk to the table where I cloud find so many dishes and kinds of food.
As I began dishing them, Brenda walked up to me.
“Hello Rose, so you couldn’t make it to this party without Michelle help right? ” she asked as she glazed at her drink.
“And what of you?” I asked standing up to her.
Brenda had always been my enemy in the entertainment industry, I don’t even know what I did to her that made her dislike me this much.
Well I’ve always delt with her when ever we cross paths so today isn’t going to be an exception.
“I see you managed to borrow a ne-cklace to come here and your dress looks quit out of fashion” she said and I smi-rked.
“It’s better I have something on me, just take a look at you. I’ll advice you to focus on your career because the last time I checked, you haven’t been in any drama for the past six months” I said and she gasped.
“You?…. ”
“Since you’re talking about career, if not that Michelle helps you to get to where you are now, you cloud still be in the gotters” she said and I chuckled.
“Look at who’s talking, a nobody in the entertainment industry. let me tell you, I got to where I am today because of my abilities not because some beg to be accepted in a drama like you ” I said and got angry.
Yeah that’s definitely what I want, let her get angry and show me that she’s capable.
“You have no shame Rose, after being helped by Michelle you still don’t acknowledge his help” she said in a very angry mode.
“Well I won’t repeat myself to you bitc-h” I said and she sli-pped out the drink in the glas-s and I douche it.
I felt the drink slash on someone behind me and when I turned looking at the person from my point, it was the guy I just asked Michelle about not long ago.
“I’m so sorry Mr Ronnie ” she apologized and I chuckled.
That serves her right, next time she would know that the person she is dealing with isn’t any ordinary girl.
“Mr Ronnie I’ll help you out with cleaning it” she said and he adjusted his tie on the ne-ck.
He did it same like the guy I meet in a masked party two years ago, He had saved me from falling and I ki-ssed him on his mask. Since that day I never got to see the guy talkless of his face.
This is the reason why when I saw Mr Ronnie, I suddenly remembered that incident. He looks just as tall as the guy and his body shape is exactly the same.
He fixed his tie one more time and walked away heading for the bathroom.
Brenda on the other hand had took to her heels. It’s seems she was scared or something.
I’ve got to find out if Mr Ronnie here is the guy I met that day at the party.
I walked towards the bathroom and stopped him from going in. The two restrooms doors were opposite each other, the on the right for girls and on the left for men.
“Ms what do you want?” he asked still touching his tie.
“Have you seen me before ” I asked bring my face close to his.
“I think you’re the one I help just now” he said and I nodded.
“Yes, but have you seen me anywhere else apart from today, like a party. you wearing a mask and holding me? ” I asked but he seems to be totally lossed.
I took his hands and placed it around my wai-st and pretended to be falling. “like this ” I said but he just held me without a word.
“Don’t you remember? ” I asked but he just smi-rked at me.
“Ms what you are doing is called fli-rting, don’t go around behaving like this” he said and let go of my wai-st.
“No I’m not going around and doing anything. I just think I’ve seen you before and we have both meet each other ” I said but he still didn’t react.
“Ms from what I know about you. you’re from the entertainment industry and my company don’t have any connections with entertainment industries, so why are you saying I’ve seen you before ” he said and I rapped my arms around his ne-ck.
“Don’t you remember this” I asked placing his hands again on my wai-st and my hands around his ne-ck.
“Ms I think you’ve mistaken the person, Try asking around and stop taking advantage of me” he said and I rele-ase my hands from his ne-ck.
“Who’s taking around of you? stop saying ru-bbish. I’m just trying to let you remember ” I said and he smiled.
His smiled looked exactly the same as that guy. How come he’s saying it’s not him” I asked myself lost in thoughts.
He opened the door and attempt to walk in and I followed behind.
“Ms this is men’s restroom, do you want to follow me in? ” he asked and I snap out of my thoughts smiling.
I turned back and watch him close the door.
“It’s seems it’s been years that’s why he can’t remember. I’ll make sure he remembers or maybe he is not the one” I said and walked into the lady’s restroom.

“Wake up Mandy wake up” a silly voice called as I slept on enjoying my beauty night.
I turned and closed my face with my pillow as the voice became more loud and annoying.
“Something happened, wake up Mandy” she called again and I wake up still feeling sleepy.
“What happened?” I asked ru-b-bing my eyes.
“Wow your pajamas looks good, where did you buy it? ” she asked and I sighed.
I’ve got an annoying best friend here, just now she woke me up to tell me something and now she’s asking me about my new pajamas.
“Naomi, what did you want to tell me?” I asked standing up from the bed.
“Your now the talk of the town, the hot line search is on you. Tell me since when did you start dating Mr Ronnie? ” she asked and I chuckled.
“Dating?
“As my best friend, you should know that I’m not into dating still I get a good and better career” I said and walk into the bathroom.
“I know you not wanting to have a boyfriend still you become a rich and success actress. But take a look at Mr Ronnie, his cute, handsome and tall, a perfect character for my script” she said and I chuckled.
“If he’s that good and handsome then go after him” I said and she snuffed.
“How can I do that after you’ve taking the initiative already ” she said.
“What do you mean?, I haven’t done anything ” I said looking at my face on the bathroom mirror.
“Just come and look at the news, it’s says you’re fli-rting with Mr Ronnie ” she said and I opened the bathroom door.
“Let me have a look” I said not believing what she said until I see with my own eyes. she brou-ght her phone closer to me.
“People are so crazy nowadays. How can they be saying I’m fli-rting around with him” I said stocking my brush into my mouth as I watched the images.
Well I nee-d not care, I’ve got the perfect manager and a perfect team to clear out the mess in no time.
“Mandy you seems not worried about this, Is it really true? ” she asked and I rushed back into the bathroom to rance my mouth.
“I wasn’t fli-rting with him, I just thought he looked familiar and went to talk to him” I said and she nodded.
“Do you call this talking, I’ve got to write such things on my script ? ” she said and I chuckled.
Her and script writing, two inseperatable things, I wander which movie script or novel she’s now working on. she the writer and I’m the actress.
“By the way Jenna must be aware about it by now, so I don’t nee-d to worry too much ” I said changing into something better.
My phone around immediate I was done dressing up and it was Jenna calling.
,Hey. Mandy I guess you must have seen the news online” she asked and I nodded.
“Yeah” I replied.
What really happened? she asked.
“The media got it all wrong Jenna, I wasn’t fli-rting with him ” I said.
“Okay dear”
“We are trying our best to clear the post and all bad comments about you but we seem to be having issues with it” she stated.
“What do you mean? ” I asked and Naomi payed attention to the phone call, like she was very interesting in what was going on with the online post.
“Come to the company so we can talk okay ” she said and I nodded.
“I’ll be right there ” I said and she ended the call.
“Naomi don’t forget to close my door and don’t take anything away” I said and she frown.
“I won’t touch anything” she said and I smiled.
I applied a light makeup and pick on of my little hand bag and walk out of the house.
I stopped a cab and he drove me off to the company.
When he stop at the company, I quickly paid him and walked in.
Well I’m not that rich enough to own a car yet but I do hope to have one someday just like how I got myself a good apartment.
“Jenna what’s the problem?” I asked entering her office.
“Finally you’re here” she said and I sat down on one of her chairs.
“What happened between you and Mr Ronnie that I and the NOY team can’t seem to fine a solution? ” she asked and I just watch her.
“Nothing exactly happened. I just went to talk to him that’s all” I said clearing my throat.
“But that isn’t what people are talking about. just take a long. Most of the comments says “you’re trying to increase your popularity by fli-rting around with Brooklyn NY big boss”.
“Some are even criticizing you of which it is bad for your reputation. Just take a look, I’m sure you aren’t going to be participate in any new dramas still this is solved” she said and that was when I knew it was serious.
“What can we do to solve it?, I don’t want my work to be suspended ” I asked as I panic.
“Since I and the NOY team can’t come up with a solution, I guess you’ll have to talk with Mr Ronnie” she said and I nodded.
“What for?” I asked wandering what kind of help he can render to someone like me.
“So he can help you clearify your relationship with him” she said and my mouth dropped.
“Are you sure he is even going to agree on meeting up with a low actress like me? ” I asked remembering what he had told me about not having any relations with entertainment industries.
“Why not. This also affects his reputation as a business man and also as a leader of such a big company like Brooklyn NY he shouldn’t have such bad image( rumors)” she said and I nodded.
“Okay, I’m going to find him” I said and pick up my bag I had dropped on the table.
“You think going to find a man like Mr Ronnie is just a simple task? ” she asked as I stood up and attempt to walk away.
“What do you mean? ” I asked confused.
“You’ll nee-d to schedule an appointment with him ” she said and I chuckled.
“Don’t worry Jenna, I’ve got my ways” I said and walk out of her office.
“It’s actress mode time” I said as I stepped out of the company.
? Mr Ronnie ?
“Mr Ronnie, aren’t you bothered about the news? ” my as-sistant asked immediately he dropped the files I had asked him to get for me earlier.
“Henry does that news got to do with profit making? ” I asked and he smi-rked.
“Take this papers and hand it over to the finance department” I said and he collected them.
“One more time ” I said and he turned back…
“Ms Mandy will come to look for me later, tell her I’m in a meeting ” I said and he nodded.
“Boss, why do you seem so sure that ms Mandy will be here? he asked questioning me.
“Come over here” I said and he walked closer toward me.
“How many times will I warn you not to call me boss” I said hitting him with some of the papers on my table.
“Just do as I said, better still tell her I’m very busy and won’t be able to accommodate anyone at the moment ” I said and he nodded moving out.
Let me see for how long you can ender me just for your career. After all this news doesn’t affect me but you.
“I’ll be waiting for you MoMo baby” I said smiling at myself and wishing to see her reaction towards coming here and not being able meet me.
She started this and I know a company like theirs won’t be able to clear out this mess. So they will turn to seek help from me.
