“I definitely would, but right now,I can’t feel my legs” she said.
And they both bursted out laughing.

Peyton woke up next morning, her stomach growls actually woke her up.
She yawned tiredly and noticed Nolan wasn’t in bed.
“Where could he be” she questioned herself.
She got out of the bed,wearing her cute bunny slippers.
“Babes…..? She dragged the name.
She checked the bathroom, still didn’t find him.
She quickly brushed her teeth and got out. But he still wasn’t back.
“He should be downstairs” she said.
She walked down the stairs to the living room,but didn’t find him.
“Heartbeat…? She called, heading to the kitchen.
It was there she found him,he was cooking.
“Candy heart” Nolan smiled and called her.
“Good morning, baby” he greeted.
“Good morning….. You cook? She asked,all surprised.
“Yea,anything wrong with that? He creased his brows.
“Naaa. It’s just that,I haven’t seen you cook before” she said.
“That doesn’t mean I don’t know how to cook.
” Remember I have a restaurant” he winked at her and continued to stir the food.
“It smells so nice,I hope it tastes good too” she said.
“Trust me,wifey. You will ask for more by the time you taste this” Nolan said proudly.
Peyton rolled eyes at him.
“The food,please” she said as Nolan stared at her.
“You should have waited in the room. I wanted it to be romantic” he winked.
“Mr romantic” Peyton chuckled.
Nolan dished out the food,carried her up and made her sit on the kitchen cabinet.
“Open up” he said as he scooped a spoonful, blew it to make it cool a bit. Before taking it to her mouth.
“I am not a baby” I can feed myself” she said.
“Stop being a stubborn wifey” he chuckled.
Payton opened up and he started feeding her.
Once he gets a spoonful in her mouth,he would pause and kiss her,eating from her mouth.
“This tastes so good,heartbeat” she said.
“Told you” he smiled.
“I love you, baby, so much that I can’t live a second without you” he said.
“I love you more” she replied.
“No,I love you more” Nolan fired.
“I love you most” she fired back.
Nolan chuckled and stared at her,lovingly.
“I can’t wait for our baby to arrive” he said,caressing her stomach before he leaned in for a kiss.
“I can’t wait either, hubby” she gasped in his mouth as Nolan continued to kiss her.
He carried her in his arms, still kissing her and heading to the room.
FEW MONTHS LATER****
It was evening already and Peyton was busy sleeping in the room.
That’s what she’s been doing since her pregnancy crazies started.
She wake up,but kind of still felt sleepy.
She got up from the bed,stretched her body,then she started rubbing her stomach.
She does that whenever the baby starts moving.
“Hey….stay still,warrior. You’re making mummy uncomfortable” she said to the baby inside her as she kept rubbing her stomach.
She stopped rubbing it after the baby stopped moving.
“I’m hungry. Where’s hubby,by the way? She asked herself and heads for the door.
She smiled after seeing Nolan sitting on the couch,handsomely watching the TV.
Slowly and carefully, she started walking down the stairs. Stopping at intervals to rest.
Yes! She’s expecting the baby any day. The baby might even decide to come today.
Nolan heard her foot steps and turned to look at the staircase.
He saw how tired she looked as she placed her hand on the metal,the other on her waist.
“Huh? What are you doing? He asked and stood up in a flash.
“Obviously walking down the stairs” she rolled eyes at him.
“I know, baby. But why didn’t you call me to come carry you? Nolan questioned.
“Do you have a death wish,heartbeat? She asked Nolan.
“What are you saying? Stop moving, I will carry you” Nolan said.
“You want to carry a trailer? Do you want to die and leave me alone? She asked,in a rather funny way.
Nolan chuckled.
“You’re crazy,wifey. Okay,I will help you walk,how about that? He asked.
Peyton smiled and nodded, giving Nolan her hand to hold.
They walked to the living and Nolan helped her sit.
He picked a pillow and put it behind her back before proceeding to sit,too.
“Are you comfortable” he asked as he raised her legs off the floor,placed them on his thighs and started giving her a massage.
“I am fine,thanks baby” she replied.
“Aren’t Gray and Nora coming anymore? She questions.
Gray and Nora got married last month.
They were out of the country for their honeymoon, but just returned yesterday.
So they called Nolan and informed him they are coming.
“They are,I don’t know what’s still keeping them” Nolan answered.
The doorbell rang almost immediately.
“I’ll get it” Nolan said and heads for the door.
“Nolan! Nora called loudly, hugging her brother.
“I’ve missed you guys soooo much. She dragged it.
“Oh my gosh! Pey baby” she rushed to Peyton and hugged her so tight.
“Gosh! You have no idea how much I missed you” she said and pecked her cheeks.
“How’s our baby doing? She asked,touching her stomach.
“Great,just stressing me a bit” she giggled.
“Look how you’re glowing. What has Gray been giving you? She asked, showing her beautiful God given dentition.
“The normals” she winked.
Peyton chuckled and they high five.
“Preggy” Gray called as he walked up to her and pecked her cheek.
Peyton smiled at him.
“How did your honeymoon go? Nolan asked them.
“It was a blast! They both chorused and they all bursted out laughing.
“What can I get for you” Peyton asked,trying to get up.
“Don’t stress yourself, baby. Will get it for them.
“Heartbeat, I am only pregnant, not sick” Peyton said.
“She’s never gonna listen, too stubborn” Nolan said and they all chuckled.
Peyton got up from the couch,heading to the kitchen but stopped half way.
She put her hands on her waist and couldn’t move an inch.
“Candy heart,what’s wrong? Nolan asked.
“My waist, it hurts” she said,signaling Nolan to come hold her waist.
“The baby is moving…. Ohhh….my waist! she groaned in pains.
“Is it time” Nolan asked.
“I don’t know….. She dragged it in pains.
Her water broke almost immediately.
“Ahhhh! My waist,the baby…..She cried.
Nolan held her tighter this time, rubbing her waist to ease the pain.
Gray and Nora joined.
They assisted Nolan by helping him take Peyton to the car.
“Sorry baby….I’m so sorry” Nolan kept saying till they reached the hospital.
******AN HOUR LATER
“Doctor, how’s my wife doing? Gray asked the moment the doctor came out.
“Congratulations, Mr. Nolan. It’s a baby girl”
“Your wife and baby are doing just fine” the doctor said.
“For reals? Baby girl….did you hear that? I’m a dad now! Nolan screamed it out loud,getting everyone’s attention.
He was super duper excited.
His wife and baby are fine!
“Can we see her? Nora asked,anxiously waiting for an answer.
“Yea,sure….
The doctor didn’t finish his statement when they all rushed in.
“Candy heart” he called softly as he walked up to her bed.
He bent low to her level, and kissed her forehead.
“I love you so much, I love and cherish you both so much” he added.
“Thank you for making me a dad,thank you for making me who I am today. I LOVE YOU,CANDY HEART” He said and kissed her forehead again.
“I love you more” Peyton smiled and replied weakly.
“Pey baby” Nora called and sat beside her.
“Thank you for bringing this wonderful gift into the family. I love you, sis” she said and pecked her cheeks.
“Congratulations, Peyton” Gray said.
“No more calling of preggy,henceforth” Peyton said.
“Definitely”Gray chuckled and said.
“My treasure, my very first gift. Daddy will always love and cherish you and mummy,always” Nolan said as he held the baby’s tiny little hand.
“Oh…oh…she’s crying. What do I do,what do I do”?
“What does she want? Water,biscuit or sweet? Nolan panicked,when the baby let out a cry,her tiny voice echoeing in the ward.
Nora,Gray and Peyton laughed at him.
“Welcome to fatherhood” Gray said.
“Get ready for sleepless nights,twinie. And babies at this stage don’t drink water or eat biscuite,gosh! Nora said.
“Huh? Nolan said.
“Baby,is this how you will be panicking each time our baby cries? Peyton asked in a low tone.
Nolan ruffled his hair and looked at his wife.
“Nora,please bring her for me let me breastfeed her” Peyton said.
“Hey there cute niece,you’re so adorable,just like your mom and dad.
“Aunt Nora can’t wait to start taking you outings” Nora said as she went forth to carry the baby.
“She isn’t sucking” Peyton said,frustratingly when the baby refused to suck.
“Calm down,Pey. This is still new to her,she’ll get used to it with time” Nora said.
“But she needs to eat,Nora. I think she’s very hungry” Peyton said.
“Motherhood” Nora laughed at worried Peyton.
The fact that her baby does not want to suck is bothering her.
“Where are mom and dad,anyway” Nora asked.
“They’re in Gyeongisan, will come back next week” Nolan said.
“Oh, I miss them though” she mouthed.
“I should even call and tell them the good news” Nolan said.
“Please do” Nora,Gray and Peyton said at the same time.
FIVE YEARS LATER****
“Jemima….get into the bathtub so we can finish up and leave” Peyton said to her daughter who has been making her shout.
It’s Nora and Gray’s wedding anniversary.
She’s been calling her to come have her bath,but she wouldn’t listen.
Jemima is just busy playing games on her big tablet.
“Heartbeat…. Jemima isn’t listening, she doesn’t want to bath and it’s frustrating! Peyton called out to Nolan.
He was in their room, while Peyton was in Jemima’s.
So she went out to report Jemima to her dad.
Nolan chuckled and followed her.
Peyton and Jemima are always like that. She keeps reporting Jemima to her dad.
She can’t even scold or beat her,cos she just can’t.
She hates to see her daughter cry or unhappy.
So rather than scold her,she would just report her to her dad who does the scolding.
“Hey,princess… Why not drop that and go have your bath. You will come back to it when you’re done bathing, alright? Nolan said,calmly and she dropped it immediately.
“We’re going to aunt Nora’s house.
“Got anything to say about that? Nolan asked.
“Really” she widened her big round eyes and asked.
“I can’t wait to see her…I’ve missed her.
“I love you,aunt Nora! She screamed out loud, raising her fingers up in the air.
Peyton and Nolan looked at each other and bursted out laughing.
“She’s so adorable and sweet” Peyton said.
“Definitely, baby. You can say that again” Nolan concurred.
GRAY’S MANSION****
“They’re here!” Nora said as she saw them getting out of the car.
“Aunt Nora!!!! Jemima screamed her lungs out,running to hug her favorite aunty.
“My sweet little,precious jewel. Guess how much I missed you” Nora said as she jacked Jemima up, hugging her so lovingly.
“You guess” Jemima said.
Nora laughed.
“You’re doing the guessing,not me” Nora continued to laugh.
“Hey…hey…forever young couples” Nora turned to Peyton and Nolan.
“Are you growing older or younger” Nora asked Peyton.
Peyton smiled and shook her head.
“Hey bro. I will steal this daughter of yours from you” Nora said, tickling Jemima who continued to laugh like the baby she is.
“Please don’t, if you don’t want us to die” Peyton said.
Nora laughed.
“Happy anniversary” Peyton and Nolan chorused.
“Thank you” she answered with a smile.
“Where’s your husband” Peyton asked.
“He’s inside. Common,let’s go in” she said and they followed her.
“Happy anniversary,man” Nolan said to Gray.
“Happy anniversary, Gray” Peyton said.
“Thank you,thank you” Gray replied, smiling and and bowing his head like a gentle man.
Peyton and Nolan chuckled.
“Uncle Gray… Jemima ran and hugged him.
“Where are my candies” she asked sternly, without smiling.
“Calm down police officer, I will give you your candies” Gray raised his hands in the air for surrender.
They all started laughing at the little police officer and the big Candie bandit.

“It’s been five years,Pey. Five good years in marriage without a child”
“It is very very depressing and saddening. It hasn’t been easy,Pey.
“But I will keep hoping on G…..she couldn’t complete her statement.
She held her stomach and ran to the kitchen.
She threw up in the kitchen sink and washed it off,washed her face then got out of the kitchen.
She felt dizzy and weak and couldn’t walk properly.
“Baby,what’s wrong? Gray quickly held her and asked.
“I feel weak and dizz…..she slumped in his arms.
“Nora! Peyton and Nolan ran to her immediately.
“To the hospital,fast! Nolan said.
Gray carried her straight into the car and drove off.
People who had come for their anniversary party were all confused.
“Mummy” what’s wrong with my favorite aunt,I don’t want anything to happen to her. Please make her feel better” Jemima spoke while on their way to the hospital.
“Your favorite aunt is fine,baby. I think she’s expecting a baby,you’re going to have a cousin soon” Peyton said,smiling.
“For real? I will have a cousin from my favorite aunt? Jemima said,happily.
Peyton smiled and nodded.
AT THE HOSPITAL****
“What’s wrong with her,doctor?
“What’s wrong with my wife, is she alright? Gray asked simultaneously.
“Your wife is absolutely fine. Nothing’s wrong with her.
“She’s just one month pregnant” the doctor blurted.

“My sister is gonna have a baby soon! Oh my gawd! Nolan screamed excitedly.
“Best day ever!!!!!! Peyton screamed in excitement.

“Jemima….he’s a little baby,please let him have a turn” Peyton said to Jemima who doesn’t want Little Leslie (Nora and Gray’s baby) to play with her toys.
“But they’re mine,mummy” she said.

“He is,mummy, and will always be” Jemima smiled and replied.
Nora looked her with the most loving eyes.
“She’s so sweet and adorable” Nora said.

“Where are those two best friends? Nora asked.
“Went to get drinks for the beach party” Peyton replied.
“Mom,dad” Peyton and Nora got up and went to hug Alejandro and Brenda.

“Are you two growing older or younger? Hubby and wifey(Alejandro and Brenda) asked.
“We aren’t, cos our wives take good care of us” they both chorused.
Peyton and Nora looked at each other,winked and high five.
They all laughed.
“Is everything ready? Brenda asked.
“Sure,mom” Nolan said.
“Let’s go then” Alejandro said.
Nolan and Gray picked up their car keys.
Packed everything needed, into the car.
“Everyone is in,hey? Nolan asked.
“Yes!!!! They all answered.
“Off we go! Nolan said,got into his car,ignited and sped off to the BEACH!
