__________CHAPTER 32&33__________
Nolan broke the hug after hugging each other for like five minutes.
He held Peyton’s hand and rubbed her cheeks with his thump.
“Thank you,baby. Thank you so much for saving my sister’s life.
“I really don’t know how to thank you,but all I can say is,I really appreciate your kind gesture.
“I’ve never met any lady as tough,crazy,stubborn yet,soft hearted as you.
“I had no idea my twin sister has been living with you,and she’s the same person you were talking about.
“I don’t know how to express the joy in me.
You’ve brou-ght me so much happiness ever since we crossed paths.
“You’re an angel sent to bring my family back.
“What would I ever do without you? I love you so much and I promise to never hurt you,no matter what” Nolan said while Peyton was busy shedding tears.
“God! You’re such a cry baby” Nolan teased.
“I am not” she said,defensively
Nolan chuckled and wiped the tears away, kissed her forehead,her hand,her nose,ears and li-ps.
“Stop that” Peyton slapped his chest softly with the back of her hand,Nolan chuckled again.
“Don’t try to turn me on baby,cause you won’t like what will happen.
“Do you have any idea what that slap did to my body?”
Nolan smirked and Peyton giggled.
She really didn’t understand what he meant by that though.
“Your sister is looking for you” she finally told Nolan what actually brou-ght her.
“You mean Nora? Nora is looking for me?
“Nora can remember me? You’re kidding, right? He asked.
“I am serious, you were the first person she called when she woke up” Peyton explained.
At this point, Nolan’s joy was immeasurable.
He didn’t know whether to cry,laugh or scream his lungs out.
He loves his twin sister so much and can kill for her sake.
Peyton just couldn’t stop smiling, seeing how happy her baby was meant so much to her.
“Hey,hurry up,they’re waiting for you.
“They?” Nolan asked.
“Yea,Nora and your parents” Peyton said.
Nolan frowned.
His happy face turned sour at the mention of his parents.
He just doesn’t want to see their faces,they make him sick,they drive him nuts and they give him bitter feelings.
He hates them so much that he can’t even stand their faces.
All this while he thought his parents were dead,they were actually alive and didn’t care about them.
They didn’t care if they were surviving or not.
He and Nora were just eighteen, they just turned eighteen when they left.
If it weren’t for Alex,they wouldn’t have even known what he and Nora pa-ssed throu-gh.
They wouldn’t have known what their aunt did to him and Nora.
They were enjoying and living their lives,all in the name of protecting their lives.
The same lives that were being threatened by their wicked aunt.
What would have happened if Alex didn’t find them? They would have been dead and gone.
Of what use would their protection be?
What kind of parents do such to their children?
“I don’t want to see them,I hate them” Nolan said sadly.
Peyton walked up to him and hugged him from behind, cause he was facing the closet where he wanted to pick his clothes.
“I know how you feel baby,everyone will feel the same way.
“You have every right to be mad at them,and I’m with you in that.
But you have to forgive them.
“We all make mistakes. Realizing your mistake and doing the right thing is what matters.
“They are your parents no matter what, they are the only true friends you can ever have”
“I know what they did is horrible and unforgivable, but they did it to protect you, even though it didn’t go as agreed.
“But they did you for you and your sister”
“You have to forgive them,please. For my sake and that of your sister” Peyton said,hugging him affectionately.
Nolan turned to face her,his heart softened a bit.
He really doesn’t know what charm Peyton used on him that has made him fall for her this much and just can’t stand her being sad,but it really was working.
He inhaled de-eply and exhaled.
“Okay,I’m doing this only for your sake and that of my sister.
“But it hurts so much,it hurts whenever I think about” he said like he was going to cry.
Peyton stared at him without even knowing what to say.
He’s really broken,he’s hurting so much.
The Nolan she knows isn’t like this,she could feel his pain.
But does he have any choice? They are his family after all,he will eventually forgive them.
“Look at me” Peyton said and held his hand with her left hand, placing the other on his chin.
“I love you,Nolan. I will never advice you to do what is not right.
“Open your heart and take them back,be the once happy family you were,can you do that for me?” Peyton asked.
Nolan just found himself nodding.
Peyton smiled and hugged him again.
“Go get ready,Nora really wants to see you” she said.
Nolan turned back to the closet and picked up some clothes to change into while Peyton kept staring at him as he changes.
****AT THE HOSPITAL****
“Nolan!” Nora got out of the bed and ran towards Nolan, hugging him in a way that he was almost choking.
“You’re back,you really can remember me” Nolan said as a tear dropped down from his eye.
Nora didn’t waste time in crying also.
His parents were crying as well,in fact everyone was shedding tears.
“I am sorry for all the pain you went throu-gh, I am sorry I could not protect you.
“Can you ever forgive me?” Nolan sniffles.
“Hey,it wasn’t your fault teddy bear(that’s what Nora always called her twin brother)teddy bear.
“There’s nothing there to not be forgiven, I love teddy bear” she said again.
Nolan’s eyes almost popped out of its sockets.
“You still remember my pet name?” Oh my gawd! He screamed and hugged her like he was hugging her for the last.
Peyton and his parents couldn’t just explain how they felt that moment, it was the most memorable day of their lives.
“My darling ssangdung-i(twins) their mom called and went to them.
“I can’t believe how you two have grown to be so strong.
“Your father and I are de-eply sorry for every pain we caused you,we are sorry for everything we made you go throu-gh.
“We thought we were doing the right thing for you,we didn’t know we were actually putting your lives at risk.
“She turned to the both of them and rubbed their cheeks,while seriously sobbing.
“It’s okay if still don’t want to forgive us,it’s fine. At least we are happy everything is alright now,seeing you alive alone,makes me happy. I can’t ask for more” she said and turned to leave when Nolan and Nora grabbed her into a big hug.
Their father joined,Peyton joined,even Gray joined in the hug.
It was the biggest and happiest moment they’ve ever experienced.
“We forgive, you mom. We’ll just keep hurting ourselves the more,if we don’t forgive you” Nolan said and his mom couldn’t hold back the tears,she just let them stream down freely.
Why are they all crying, aren’t they supposed to be happy?
Well,they aren’t just crying, they are shedding tears of joy.
They broke the hug and Nora went to Gray, hugging him like never before.
“In can’t believe you’re my friend’s twin sister,I wish you can see the joy inside my heart baby,it is over flowing” Gray said and pulled her closer.
Nora just smile as didn’t even know what to say,she was over joyed.
Brenda went to Peyton and gave her a hug like a mother would do to her child.
“Thank you so my love,you don’t know what you have done to this family.
There’s nothing on this earth that can be said or done to pay you for what you did.
“Thank you for bringing my family back together, thank you for being a part of son’s life”
“We are very grateful” she said. Cry baby Peyton hugged her back and started crying.
Nolan and his dad just stood at one end watching them.
“She’s an angel” his father stated.
“Indeed,dad. A blessed one sent to bring joy to our family” Nolan said.
“Don’t dare hurt or mess with her,else, I will deal with you mercilessly” his dad threatened.
Nolan surrendered by raising his hands up in the air.
“I can’t even imagine doing that,dad. Not in this life,not in the next life” Nolan said.
“Lover boy” his dad teased and punched his shoulder.
“Ouch!” Stop doing that,dad.
“I can’t believe you still do that” He frowned but ended up laughing.
Alejandro was always fund of doing that to Nolan, punching and making jest of him each time he gets the
opportunity.
It’s quite funny he still does it till now.
Nolan went to Peyton and hugged her again.
If hugs were to finish, they would definitely finish that very day.
“I love you,Peyton McKenzie, now and till eternity” Nolan said and planted a kiss on her li-ps,right in the presence of everyone.
“We still have a home with many rooms in it,you know” Brenda joked.
Peyton was so shy,so shy that she became nervous and wished the ground could just open and swallow her.
“Not now,mom. I’m having a good time with my girlfriend” Nolan fired and de-epened the kiss.
