Courtney POV
I found my locker I put my books in and closed the locker I had taken my timetable from the teacher earlier then she asked me to Meet her in her office I closed my locker I had math next I turned around and a girl walked up to me it was almost like she was waiting for the perfect time
“Hi I’m Clary,”
“I’m Courtney”
“ I Know we’re in the same cla-ss and we are locker neighbors I’m hoping to be friends”
“Ok nice to meet you”
“Same here”
“Um Can you please direct me to miss Penny’s office”
“Yes my plea-sure”
*****miss Penny’s office*****
“I called for your courses you applied for dancing singing and acting right”
“Yes miss Penny”
“So here are your extra timetable for the music program that is if you get in ”
“Really”
“Yes this year we have a limited amount of people we can accept into the music program so anyone who doesn’t get past the auditions will have to wait until the second year of high school to transfer which will be in limited sp-ots”
“Okay ”
“I hope you get in ”
“Thank you ma”
“Can you manage everything”
“I can I’ve been doing it since I was a kid it’s normal”
“music programs don’t officially start until Monday ”
“Ok yes Miss Penny” I replied and went out of the office*****
The rest of the day was a breeze I gave Clary my contact info we’re practically BFF’S now……..
She also told me who the boy is his name is Owen Crossley and him and his two best friends are like the kings of the school
She also told me about the girl that was giving me death glares in cla-ss and to watch out for her group The A bbys who literally proclaimed themselves the queen bees of The school because their Leader’s dad owns half of the school and the leader Amy has a huge crush on Owen since elementary school when I asked her how she knew she told me she went to the same elementary school as them and Amy announced at the end of the open house and every single girl to stay away from Owen while Owen stood her up in front of everyone and everyone laughed but Asha and Ava stepped in
Now that’s a messed up situation if I was Amy I would kill Owen but I guess she’s forcing herself on him

Chapter 3
“Courtney enough writing for one day come down for dinner”
“Yes mum I’ll be down in a sec”
I took my diary downstairs and sat down on the table
“How many times will I tell you No writing at dinner”
I put on a little smile and went upstairs to keep my diary
“Now set the table”
“Ok mom”I replied
After my mom was done dishing the food I took the plates of food to the table
“Now,honey how was your first day of school,”
“Good,”I replied
“C’mon not just good give me details ”
“What kind of “details””I said using air quotes
“First day of school details like you used to Tell Chloe”
“Thanks Mom for reminding Chloe wasn’t here”
“I’m sorry babe but she needs this”
“I know I know”
“Now Tell me”
“No mom” I laughed ”it’s not good to talk while eating” I said munching my food
She looked at me in a really scary way
“Using my words against me fine when we are done eating wash the dishes and come to the sitting room then we will have a talk”
“But mom I need to sleep”I retorted “You have gotten enough sleep since you came back”
“But………”
“No buts she told me ”
“After I did everything I joined my mom in the sitting room ”
Now talk ”
Fine “I made a new friend today”
“That’s all”
“Yes Mom”
“Ok what’s your friend name”
“Clary”
“I like to have her over sometime”
“Ok I’ll make sure to let her know that now can I sleep”
“Yes”my mom said and pec-ked me
“ Courtney” she said as I was about to leave
“ Mom”
“ You know you can tell me anything right ”

I slumped on my bed and took my phone and texted Chloe
How school hope you’re doing fine miss you so much ?? Courtney
I stared at the phone waiting for a reply but got none then I added
Reply ASAP please…
I brou-ght out my diary and wrote
DEAREST DIARY,
TODAY WAS A VERY GOOD AND BAD DAY I MADE A FRIEND AND I THINK I’M ENEMIES WITH THE MOST POPULAR BOY IN SCHOOL HOPEFULLY IT DOESN’T CAUSE ME TROUBLE ?WHO I’M I KIDDING I’M LITERALLY TROUBLE I’LL WRITE AGAIN SOON BYE ?

Courtney’s POV
The next morning was beautiful I woke up very early took my bath and made breakfast for mum, i put her food in the microwave and went upstairs to change to my uniform put the bow in my hair took my bag and headed downstairs I saw mom coming out of her room
Me and my sister Chloe room are both upstairs while mom’s room is downstairs I gave mom the breakfast I had made it was apple cider vinegar pie mom’s favorite pie
“Darling when did you make this”
“I woke up early you deserve it mom”I said and went out I saw my driver there
“You are early today” he told me as I entered the car
“Since I was late on my first day I decided to go early on my second day so pick me up at this time everyday please ***********”
I got down from the car and walked to my locker I saw Clary there too
• Hi Clary I said
•Hey Courtney
•So how you doing today
•You look extra happy today what’s up
•Nothing what’s there not to be happy about I’m just feeling so happy I heard screams and slumping sounds
Clary what’s wrong is there a fight or what in the hall

•Owen Jason and Andrew the ones I told you about
•Oh them are they that cute that people are falling ?I said as I rolled my eyes
•Like every girl in the whole school wants to be their girlfriend even the A BBYs
•Well none of my business
They pa-ssed us and I didn’t even look Clary was staring like she was watching television I just hissed What waste of time

I got to cla-ss and sat at my seat near Owen and just rested my head waiting for the teacher to come in I just didn’t want to make eye contact with him just thinking about it gives me Jitters Suddenly enough someone tapped me on the shoulder……
