September 26,2020
Clary’s POV
I rang Courtney’s house doorbell she hasn’t been answering my calls for a day I need to know what happened
Her mom answered the door
“ hello Mrs Harper I’m asking for Courtney she hasn’t been answering her phone”
“ I thought she was with you she hasn’t been home since Yesterday and she hasn’t been answering my calls either”
“ I think I might know where she will be ”
“Well wherever it is in coming with you”

“Amy” I said as I rang her door bell
She came out angrily and said
“The party doesn’t start until tonight so buzz off you’re disturbing my makeover”
“ um I’m not here for the party I wanted to know if Courtney was with you she kinda missing and she’s not answering her phone”
“So the First place that came into your mind was my house”
“Actually her house “I said pointing to Courtney’s Mom“Then I guess yours”
Then she smiled and said “she’s missing” with a really happy voice but then she mumbled something like I’ll never get my revenge and sighed
“Just to clear my name I’ll help you look for her happy”
“ yes” I said and she went inside put on some heels and a really short gown and some make up and we went to the car
“Come on Amy we’re going to find a missing person we’re not going to a fashion show” I said as I entered the car
“well Unlike you I’m so popular and I have tons of fans I don’t know where I’ll run into the paparazzi so you always have to be prepared what will my fans do if they see me without makeup you’re even wearing some”
“I know but it’s just nu-de blus-h and li-pstick not a big deal like yours ”
“Well we’re different people”she said Courtney’s Mom interrupted our conversation
“If you guys didn’t notice I have no idea where I’m supposed to go” she said talking directly to me
“Oh sorry the school that was where I last saw her at Least maybe she’ll be there” I said to her with an apologizing face
We pulled up at the school and entered I went straight to the former dance studio I wasn’t sure she would be there but it was the only place I could think of except from Owen’s place and I didn’t want to go there
“Why are we going here ”Amy said
“This was the last place I saw her”i replied
“this place gives me the creeps”she said “and what were you guys doing here in the first place” she added
“After the whole incident in the cafeteria I took Courtney here to cool her off and to steal a bit of practice and then Owen came in and asked all of us to leave”
“Wait Owen and Courtney in the same room”
“yes I left them in the old dance studio”
“in the same room who knows what she would have done to him ”
“She I think it’s the other way around”
“There’s no way Owen would have done anything to her”
“Can you guys cut the chit chat I’m looking for my daughter here” Courtney’s mom said and screamed Courtney’s name
“Sorry ma’am” we both replied and then we heard a muffled scream and we rushed to the studio where the scream came from, it had to be Courtney
We rushed into the room to see Courtney lying on the floor looking so tragic she was breathing she had fainted
“Oh I’m so taking a picture” Amy said and I shot her a death glare
“Sheesh I was joking” she said
We took her to the hospital and when she woke up she told us everything

“I’m sueing the Crossley family” Courtney’s mom said and the doctor gasped
“The Crossley family there is no way you can sue them they’ve eyes everywhere the police the court everywhere There is 99% chance that it’ll turn against you”the doctor said
“Just because they’re rich doesn’t mean they control everyone”
“In this case I think they do ”
“That is social cla-ss discrimination ”
“Well whatever there’s a 0.00000001 chance that’ll be possible to sue the Crossley family if the story gets to the cameras or media it’ll be in their favor and against you there’ll probably be a cover up story for the media you can’t expect millions of followers to turn as social influencer he can tell them it’s a lie and you’ll end up being a victim ” the doctor concluded
He gave us the all clear and Courtney went home
Amy left before Courtney woke up and luckily my dad was out of town so I stayed with her but I had to go the next morning

Courtney’s POV
Chloe called to Check on me like every 20 minutes she was the Best
“Coco” Mom called from the living room
“Yes mom” I replied and went downstairs
She gave me a sli-p and asked me to sign it
“Mom what is this” I said to her
“ I’m withdrawing you From Riverton high School they need the signature of the guardian/parent and the wards to withdraw a scholarship student ”she said
“ what why?” I replied shocked
“Why why is the question you asked well let me tell you why you’re clearly being bullied and the cla-ss discrimination with your dad’s death we’re clearly not in that level or cla-ss anymore” she said
“I’m not being bullied mom he was just being narcissistic”i replied
“ Well if he was being a narcissist or not I don’t care I’m trying to give you a better future here I’m trying to protect you” she said to me
“Protect me I’m not a baby anymore I can take care of myself fine” I said
“You are because you don’t know about we if I want to leave”she said
“You’re clearly not seeing the point here”
“What’s there to see ”i said feigning annoyance
“It’s for your future” she replied
“My future both of us Know that if I graduate from Riverton high School I’ll have a better chance of getting into any college even getting into Juilliard on a full scholarship and you know fully well that it has been my dream to go to Juilliard and that will also ease stress on you for money and that way you can focus more on Chloe and not have to worry about me”i replied
“That’s true but GPA”
“I’ll try I’ll keep a low key I’ll study ha-rd to meet up the scholarship requirements I’ll meet up to the 3.35 GPA I’ll do everything the same way you let Chloe pursue her dreams please Mom let me do this one thing for myself at Least let me do what I love please Mom I know I’m not following role standard but please Mom”
“ok I’ll let you but anymore incidents like this I’ll withdraw you and you are following role standard you’re setting your own standards remember be yourself always”she said and patted my head “now now the doctor said you should get some rest so go sleep”she added
“Thanks mom” I said to her and went up to my room

Owen POV
“ Are you done with the editing” I said to one of the servants
“Yes sir” he replied
“Transfer it to my phone”i said to him
“Yes sir he replied”
“And call the maids to clean up our zone they will soon get here” I told him
“Yes sir” he replied
The picture appeared on my phone and I smi-rked
It was our tradition to make a bet every third week of school I’m wondering who’ll it be this time

“So have you guys thought of the girl yet” I said to them
“Yes we gave it a good thought and we finally got it this time you’re not winning trust me you’re not” Jason said sm-irking
“ Who is it” I said
“Andrew will you please do the honours”
“Of course” he said
“ the next girl is Courtney Harper”
“ Courtney Harper at least you could have told me before I did that” I said
“Well it’s tradition it’s always in the night” Andrew said
“well I’ll prove I can get her” I said
“You can’t ” they both said in unison
“This Time I’m making the price high if I win you both have to give me 20 million dollars and if I lose I’ll give you 50 million dollars each so that way you only lose 20 million and I lose 100 million how’s that” I said
“Perfect you’ll lose I know it”Jason said
“You’re going down”Andrew said
“It’s a bet” i said
