Early the following morning , I get out of be-d only to see Dylan still slee-ping. He looks too much like Arden. I sneak out of be-d and rush to my room to wash my face. I look at my mirror and surprisingly my reflection greeted me this time. What the hell happened this time ?
I smile at my reflection and sigh. I just can’t wait for Elna to come over . I brush my teeth and take a shower before getting on my pajamas. I walk out of my room to have breakfast only to find Melissa cooking. Talking about Melissa , it’s been ages since I last saw her. She turn to look at me and the sm-irk on her face was disgusting.
I ignored her and open the fridge to collect water and cereal since I’ve grown to like it.
” So you’re still alive ?” She sneered in a mocking manner. I’m not really the type who ignores people and I wasn’t really in a mood to argue with anyone either.
I sit on the kitchen dinning table and pour milk on my cereal.
” What are you even doing here by the way ?” Melissa asks heating oil in a pan.
I glare at her from my spoon and ignore her. She chuckle insanely and continued stirring whatever thing she’s cooking. She open a bottle water to drink from it. I stare at her water as it quic-kly move to the brim and splash on her face.
” What the fv¢k !” She exclaim shooting me daggers.
I shove my cereal into my mouth and act like she’s a damn ghost to me.
” What the fv¢k is wrong with you ?” She yell slamming her hand on the counter.
I sigh and raise my head to look at her.” I’m sorry. Are you okay ? Or you possibly nee-d help ?”
She bat her lashes disgustingly and bit herl-ip.
” You’re disturbing my breakfast with your bad breath.”
Her mouth went agape as she stare at me with anger.
” What ? You wanna fight me ? Of course you won’t.” I scoff loudly and continued eating my cereal. She is such an as-s.
” You can possibly wash that too.” I grin at Melissa after eating the cereal.
” as-s-hole.” I mutter shutting the door.
I walk out of the kitchen and decides to check on Dylan. He’s being slee-ping since morning. I softly knock on his door and let myself in. He is still laying on his be-d with his back facing the ceiling. His hair is a mess as he gently l@yon his pillows. He smiled and I chuckle to his cute sight.
” You’re up late.” I tell him sitting on his couch.
” Sorry , I’m just being a lazy as-s right ?”
I roll my eyes and chuckle.
” You look happy today.”
” Maybe because I sle-pt well.”
” Or you dreamt about Arden ?” He raise his brows with a sm-irk.
” You’re silly.” I tell him as he quietly laughs.
” He called few minutes ago to check on you. I told him you’re awesome. You wanna check on him today , I can drop you off.”
” Elna is coming over today. She planned to take me out.”
” That’s a great step , at least it’s gonna help ease whatever thing you’re thinking.”
” Just himiko , I’m still worried.”
” You’ll be fine. Arden , Derek and I think almost every answers we nee-d is written on your back. And about the ones Arden wrote on the journal , he’s still finding it ha-rd to translate it.”
” Because it’s old ?”
He shrugs and turn to face me properly.” I think yes. But he’s still working on it.”
I nod slightly and smile.
” Thanks Dylan , for letting me sleep here.”
He smiles broadly and chuckle. ” I think that’s what best buddy do right ?”
” Maybe.” I let out a soft laugh.
The awkward silence that travel by was really intense. Dylan smiles softly and broke the stare that transpired for maybe seconds.
The doorbell chimer as I turn to the door direction like it was his room door.
” Maybe Elna is here.”
” I’ll go check.”
” Okay.”
I walk out of his room and climb downstairs only to find Elna alre-ady at the living room.
” Bestie.” She giggle and swing me off the ground.
” And you’re looking really pretty again.” She says as she drop me on the floor.
” Shut up , you look better.”
She giggles and look around the House. ” Damn , this is a lot of money.” She wi-den her eyes and whisper.” Take me to your room , I really nee-d to take a lot of selfies.” I chuckle and gr-ab her hand leading her upstairs.
” Woah.” She says once she was in my room.
” This is beautiful. You’re lucky you know ?”
” And you’re luckier.” I laugh and sit on my be-d.
” It’s pretty just like you. I’m really glad you’re okay.” I shrug and smile.
” Go get dressed we’re going out.”
I smile and walk into my closet to change . Since it’s a bit cold outside I put a grey turtle n£¢k oversized sweater with black p@n-ts. Elna took my hand as we walk out of my room. I st©p at Dylan’s to tell him we’re leaving.
” You own a car ?” I ask sitting on the pas-s£nger seat.
” No way , I stole Georgie’s. I really can’t handle driving.” She wi-nk and chuckle driving into the main road.
We talk about different stuffs as she halt outside a house. It really looks wow. We jump out of the car as I followed her in. We walk into the living room and I stare around the living room. It’s really beautiful and compatible.
” Water ?” She ask raising a bottle water.
I nodded as she threw it at me and I caught it. She takes another lead and i follow her to the backyard. It’s really big like a little field.
” Hey Georgie.” Elna wave at a lady at the garden.
” She likes flowers and garden.” Elna whisper and nudge me with her arm.
A lady walk to our direction. Her curly black hair hang on her shoulders as she smiled at us.
” Alita ?” She ask with a smile. I nod and handshake her.
” She’s my best friend.”
” Elna is always talking about you. You’re beautiful without doubts.” I blus-h and sh0t her smile.
” Is there something bothering you ?” She ask like she could see throu-gh my facials.
” Not really. I’m really good. At least she’s here and I’m glad.” I point to Elna as Georgie smile.
” You’re welcome here. Your bestie is really a ha-rd stone.” Georgie teases as we laughs
” I don’t think so.” I utter smiling at Elna.
” I’ll be inside. Becareful Alita.” She st©p by my side and whisper.” I can see himiko in you. Hope she’s not hurting you ?” She wi-nk and walk inside.
I turn to look at her figure but she was alre-ady Inside.
I turn to look at Elna.” Is she a seer ?”
Elna shrug and re-move her hoodie walking to the field direction.”
” Who’s himiko ? I heard her whisper that to you.”
I sigh and look around the field. It looks like a garden not really a normal field.
” Some weird white haired witch.” I reply.
” You still fight ?” Elna ask threatening to punch me as I flin-ch. I chuckle and nod with a one hand shrug.
“Let’s dig.” I sigh and look at Elna who toss her hoodie on the ground. She’s left with just her sports br@ and her p@n-ts.
She punch me and i duck sideways holding her arm. She gr-ab my arm and slam me on the floor.
” Seriously. This isn’t alita..” she smile as I stand up.
We exchange punches and she was always using her hand as shield. She punch me across the face as I wince.
” How come you’re always fast ?” I ask her tou-ching the sp©t she punched.
” I’m a damn vampire , as-s-hole.” She hiss punching me endlessly as I fall on the floor cussing.
” fv¢k.” I scoff.
” What’s happening to you ?”
” Emotional stupid $h!t.”
” Himiko ?”
I nod and take off my sweaters throwing them on the floor.
” What’s up with her ?” Elna ask crossing her arm.
” She’s inside me.”
” How’s that possible ?”
” She’s a legendary witch of Athens who got captured to clay. She got bethroted to Shiloh a vampire prince. She never liked him but his younger twin brother , so she sle-pt with his younger brother and got caught. The twin brother died with a stake pierced into his heart. Shiloh shapeshift into a bat and himiko was cursed. She’s planning on reinforcing throu-gh me.”
Elna chuckle.” Throu-gh you ? This is insane.”
” Exactly. I met a witch at a libr@ry who told me same thing including Akeelah.”
” Akeelah ?”
” That’s a different story entirely , I’m gonna discuss that later.”
Elna nod slightly.” Go on.”
I sigh and ru-b my palm across my arm.” They said I’m gonna die because that’s the stupid way she’s trying to reinf0rç£. And at that engagement p@rty , I saw Shiloh who told me himiko is trying to start a war between witches and vampires. He said according to some tales I’m the one who’s gonna st©p that war and by getting killed.”
She wi-den her eyes and cross her arm.” Seriously ?”
” Yeah.”
” Have you seen this so called himiko ?”
” She’s my reflection.”
” How ?”
” Each time I look at the mirror she’s the one staring back at me instead of my fv¢kin reflection.”
” Have you told your b©yfri£ndand crush ?” Elna ask with a sm-irk.
I chuckle.” You’re stupid , idiot. I told them though. But I didn’t tell them the p@rt that she’s my reflection.”
Elna throw her hand in surrender.” First , start thinking she doesn’t exist and she’s your crazy reflection that’s trying to taunt you.”
” That libr@ry witch said if I ever sleep with either of the twin , they are gonna die.”
” She’s crazy. Why would she tell you that ?”
” My point exactly.” I sigh and cross my arm.
” That’s stupid. You can’t let some legendary witch try to spoil your fun. we-ther she’s your reflection or not we’re getting rid of her. You’re gonna fight like the Amazon warrior you’re. What’s up with your powers ?”
” Still there.”
” Practice ?” Elna ask as I shake my head sideways.
” You should start now.”
I sigh and ru-b my alre-ady sweaty palm on my l@ps. Elna glance at me as I smile hopefully.
” You’ll be fine. Now breathe.” I smile and nod.
” Can you control any other thing except objects ?”
” I don’t know.”
She scrunch her face and roll her eyes. ” Lemme take you to the pool.” She drag my hand and take me to the poolside.
” Now breathe.”
” I can’t control water.” I whine like a baby. She scoff and glare at me.
” Fire ?” She ask.
I look at my palm as it lit up.
” Does it burn ?” She ask.
” You might wanna check it out.” I raise my brows with a sm-irk.
” Oh $h!t.” She glance at her hand after tou-ching my hand.
” Does it hurt ?” I sm-irk and furrow my brows.
” as-s-hole.” She laughs.
My hands went back to normal. ” I’m sorry.” I say to her.
” What else ? I can’t even remember you used your powers back home.”
” Yeah true. I think my powers always walk with my mood. I think I almost broke someone into pieces with just gripping to their n£¢k and just staring angrily at their eyes.” I said with a sigh.
” Let’s start by fighting again…” She tutor walking back to the field. ” Try and get angry. Think about every weird $h!t that’s going on in your head. Every single bad experience.”
” I might hurt you.”
” Don’t care. Himiko should get re-ady to fv¢k herself.”
I sigh and nod. I shut my eyes and thought about himiko trying to use me for her crazy benefits. Elna tried punching me but I duck sideways. I punch her with my elbow as she wince. I punch her endlessly as she continued ducking but it was always tou-ching her. I kicked her as she tried slamming me on the floor. I gr-ab her arm and pu-ll her to me as the bones in her arm start snapping out of places. Without being told my Iris is different.
” Alita…” Elna wince in pain. I punch her as she went airborne destroying most of the vases.
I breathe out and fall on the floor. Elna’s silent scream made me rush to her and lean close to her.
” Are you okay ?” I ask her staring at her bruised face.
” Yeah. At least I’m not dead.” She chuckle as I held her hand snapping her bones back to places. She gr0@nand stand up.
” Thanks.” I tell her as she smiled.
” Hope you’re not still worried ?”
” I’m great now. Thanks.” I reply and smiled. ” You know Arden ask me out.”
” What the ?”
” Yeah. Yesterday. He wanted us to be together , me too. But then I was scared. Afraid to get la-id and afraid of being hurt. He’s a vampire.”
” And you have feelings for him. Just breathe and forget about this himiko nons-en-se. She’s not your rival. You can take her out and she shouldn’t st©p whatever fun you choose to have with your life. She’s dead and she’ll remain dead if you as-sume she’s not alife to you. You should say yes to Arden.”
” Thanks crazy.” I hvg her and k!ssher hair.
” You’re the best.”
” And you should st©p hiding secrets. They want the best for you.” She says as we pu-ll away from the hvg.
” Yeah , thanks.” We walk back to the house and Georgie alre-ady prepared food.
I stayed till evening as Elna drove me around town. Later that evening , i ask her to drop me off at Arden’s. I really nee-d to see him and probably talk to each other.
” Becareful , don’t get la-id.” She tease and k!ssmy cheek.
I smile and get out of the car. I watch her drive out as I walk back to Arden’s. I walk inside and it’s isolated. He’s nowhere to be found. I climb upstairs and open his door. I let myself in and shut the door behind me. I glance at his room and he’s not there. The only sound in his room is a song popping out of his speaker and TV volume was down.
I heard the sound of the shower as I sm-irk b!tt!g myl-ip. I locked his room door and undress myself. I lean against his bathroom door and open it. His nûd£ self stood un-der the shower with one hand resting on the wall and the other running endlessly on his hair. I step un-der the shower too and slowly ca-ress his back. He flin-ch a little but didn’t turn around , it’s like he knew I was the one.
I k!sshis back and ca-ress his stomach softly. He held my hand and twist me to stand in front of him. He was surprised at least for a lot of reasons. What the hell am I doing here ? Standing un-der the shower with him n-ked. I look at his n-ked feature but I made sure I didn’t take my eyes down. I’m too young to panic. He tuck my alre-ady we-t hair from my face and k!$$£d me. I t©uçh his che-st and k!$$£d back desperately. I missed him and I didn’t notice till now.
He st©p k!ss!ngand k!ssmy n£¢k. I let out a soft m0@n and wra-p both my hands around his b©dy slowly trailing my hands down his spine. He press me gently against the wall and continued k!ss!ngmy n£¢k c@r£ss!ngmy back and softly gripping to my bu-tt. I let out a louder m0@n and k!$$£d him de-eply. The cold water run down our b©dy as I m0@n trailing my hands all over his back as he nip on my skin.
He lift me off the floor while my legs lock around his w@!st with my hands around his shoulders.
” I didn’t expect to see you.” He whisper with his eyes glue to mine.
” And i didn’t expect to see you n-ked in a bathroom.” I sm-irk and wi-nk tou-ching his hair.
He chuckle and sm-irk. ” It’s nice you didn’t look down.”
I laugh.” You’re silly. I did.” He sm-irk and k!$$£d my forehead.
” I’m glad you are here. I couldn’t help but think about you.” He says and stare lvstfully at myl-ips.
Still holding ti-ght to my little self on his hold , he k!ssmy forehead and then my nose as hisl-ips clasp on myl-ips. He greedily take myl-ips into his with his hands still gripping to my h!ps. I m0@n severally and that moment all i wanted was him inside me.
” Make love to me.” I tell him after breaking from the k!ss.
He furrows his brows but didn’t say a word.
” plea-se…”
