There are so many comments that Toby could not read it all.
He couldn’t believe that the problems that the company is still taking time to solve will be taking care of so easily.
Ray got down from the car holding a basket of fruit that he bought for Dorris father.
“I wonder why he suddenly wants to see us”, Dorris said.
” He don’t usually sent for me because I’m usually busy. There must be a reason why he called”, she said.
“I’ve been wanting to see him too, Dorris. It’s all for the best. I have to tell him that we are married.”
Dorris sigh.
“Do you have to tell him today?”, Dorris asked.
” Let’s tell him. It’s no big deal.”, Ray said.
Dorris pouted.
“My dad will ask for a big wedding!”, she said.
” That’s what I want too”, Ray replied.
“Won’t you consider me? I’m a celebrity. You too!”
“It doesn’t mean. Come on. Let’s go in”, he told her.
They entered the elevator. They got to Dorris apartment floor and rang the door bell.
The door opened and Douglas is standing there. His expression is not so good.
” You’re here”, he said. He opened the door wider and they entered the house.
“What’s with you?”, Dorris asked Douglas.
Ray saw Louis sitting on the sofa watching TV.
” Hello, uncle”, he greeted.
Louis smiled.
“I think you should call me Dad.”
Both Ray and Dorris raise their brow.
“What are you talking about dad?”, Dorris asked her father.
” Why are you pretending? Aren’t you married? Why will you register your marriage without telling me Dorris? What kind of child are you? I’m really sad. How can my eldest daughter get married without my approval. It is not as if I did not approve your partner. Why did you that?”, Louis asked.
Ray went on his knee.
“Blame it on me, father. It’s all my fault. I couldn’t give her a wedding because of some circu-mstances. I knew she deserve better and I still owe her a wedding ceremony. I…”
“Circu-mstances like your parents not liking her?”, Louis asked.
Both Dorris and Ray were surprised again.
Ray knew immediately that something is off.
Louis shook his head.
” You’re both naive. Do you think marriage will solve the problem. Your rich parents came. They brou-ght money along with them and ask me to tell Dorris to divorce you”, Louis said.
Dorris eyes widen.
Ray clenched his fist.
Louis continued.
“I’m not a push over so I ask them to tell that to their son. They even threatened my daughter life. My children are my bott-om line. Tell me now. Will you be able to protect my daughter?”, he asked Ray who is still on his knees.
” I will always protect Dorris!”, He said firmly.
“Dorris, his parents threaten to kill you, do you still want this marriage?”, Louis asked.
Dorris kept quiet for a while.
She almost wavered but when she looked into Ray’s eyes. She made her decision.
” Since Ray has promised to protect me, I will stay with him”
Louis sigh.
“Then it’s fine.”, Louis said.
” I will support your decision. I will trust you Ray. I don’t know why, I just believed you will not let me down”, he said.
“Dad, you wouldn’t do what those people said? They threatened….”, Douglas was saying but Louis cut in.
” Keep shut and stop drawing things back.”
Then he turned to Ray.
“You got that basket of fruit for me?”, he asked.
Ray smiled.
” Yes, Father”, he said.
Louis smiled.
“You guys should wait for dinner. I will quickly whip something”
“I will help you”, Ray said.
” No. Just stay here with your wife. She is always busy and I wonder if you always have time for each other. I will make some side dishes for you too. I hope you have maids cause Dorris here did not even know how to cook”, Louis said.
Douglas laughed.
“To think you’re actually a married woman. How will the kids cope in the future with a mom who did not know how to cook. Ha ha ha”, he teased.
Dorris was embarras-sed.
” The kids will cope cause I will cook for them. I’m in charge if the kitchen and my wife is in charge of the bedroom. Trust me, she is good at handling the bedroom but not the kitchen”, Ray said.
Douglas swallowed. Why does he feel that those words had another meaning. Louis smiled.
“I like you Ray. I was a hen pec-ked husband too when my wife was alive.”, Louis said.
” I will follow your steps then”, Ray said.

Dorris phone beeped.
She checked the message
Ash__Babe, something is going on online.
Dorris__What’s that?
Ash__Check. Hurry.
Dorris quickly log in into her account.

Dorris heart raced a bit.
Ray notice her pale face. “What is it?”, he asked.
Louis saw that her face is losing colour too. ” Are you okay, sweetheart?”, he asked.
“Why? Do I look awful. Just sad that I have to go to work now. My manager ask me to come.”, Dorris lied, smiling.
” You lazy br@t”, Douglas chipped in.
“C’mon. Go to work.”, her father said. Only Ray was not confused.
” I will drop you “, he said.
Dorris gave a light smile.
” Go go go now”, Louis said.
“Yes, dad”, Dorris said.
Ray stood up and bowed.
” Father, we will visit you often”, he said.
Louis smiled.
“Just treat my sweetheart well”, He said.
” God help me”, Ray said.
Immediately they entered the car, Ray threw her the question.
“Babe, what is it?”, he asked.
“I think a paparazzi caught us. Our pics is online but my face was blurred. People are speculating. I look st the pics and I could tell that my face was intentionally blurred. They blurred it to get your fans attention. I have a feeling that the person has a clear picture. Could ot be blackmailing? I think the person just want money. I’m so scared!”, Dorris said.
” Is that why you are this shaken? Don’t worry, I will do some investigation. Should I take you to our home?”, He as-sured and asked.
“The mansion?”, she asked.
” I have to be at the agency tomorrow. I just debuted. I have to be more ha-rdworking. My fans is expecting a new release, you know”, she told him.
“I can drop you at the agency. That mansion is our matrimonial home and I’ve decorated everything in your taste, you can change whatever you don’t like.”, Ray told her.
” We will go later, Ray. Let’s stay at the pent house for now”, She said.
Ray sigh. He wanted them to live together in that house. There is adequate security there and also Miss preya had been pressuring him to bring his wife.

Dorris mind is not settled. What will happen to her. Dorris can nit forget the case of that woman that got pregnant for a celebrity. The Idol’s fans beat that woman till she miscarried her child. Fans can be very scary. Especially the wife fans.
Ray watched and he knew her mind is still not at rest.
He didn’t know what to tell her so he just kept quiet.
Ray saw the post he is looking for.

Ray stood up. He is so angry. He also knew how scary fans could be.
