Perfect rejection episode 30

EPISODE THIRTY (FINAL EPISODE)

After the meal, I joined Sam to pl@yPES on
his system though I wasn’t good on it but I
love pla-ying it. I especially love frustrating my
opponents by opponents by “killing” their
good pla-yers and in turn get as many red as
possible. After washing the dishes, Funmi also
started to watch film on her system and asked
me join her. Honestly, I prefer the PES but I
just sign contract which I must honour.
Sam: Bros Will, let’s finish this one first now
Funmi: You don’t come now, don’t bother
coming later.
Me: Sam, you are a guy, you’ll un-derstand. My
relationsh!pis not up to two hours, I’m not
going to lose it to PES (We all laughed)
I joined her and Sam was f0rç£d to join too as
he got bored pla-ying against the system. I
received a call from Daddy Orire while we were
still watching the movie.
Me: Hello sir
Orire: How are you Yemi?
Me: I’m fine sir.
Orire: I heard you were not able to get your
license on Monday.
Me: Yes sir, they said the process encountered
a delay.
Orire: Don’t mind them, it’s because I wasn’t
around and their commander wasn’t there too.
They will do it now and you should be able to
get it by next week.
Me: Okay sir, thank you sir.
Orire: Which product to do you prefers; Toyota
or Kia? I nee-d you to choose quic-kly.
Me: (Oh boy! This man is indeed buying me a
car. I blocked the phone’s mouth and quic-kly
ask Funmi) Funmi, choose one; Toyota or Kia
Funmi: I prefer Toyota for the availability of
the p@rts
Me: Toyota sir
Orire: Why? You don’t like Kia?
Me: Sir, I’m thinking about getting the p@rts
later
Orire: Don’t worry yourself about that. I found
a KIA product I like here. I’m sure you’ll like it
too.
Me: Okay sir.
Orire: I’ll have it s£nd to your house. You
should be able to come and pick it by next
week.
Me: (Wao!) Thank you sir.
Orire: A message will be s£nd to you now, I
nee-d you to fill those information and s£nd it
back to the number. They nee-ded to process
the car p@rticulars.
Me: Okay sir. Thank you sir (The line went off)
Funmi: What’s it?
Me: Daddy Orire is getting me a car
Funmi: Are you sure there is nothing personal
with this man? Nob©dy just wake up and buy
you a car out of the blue.
Me: I’m confused too, but I’ll gladly take the
car.
I put a call throu-gh to my mum telling her
what I just heard. She was happy for me but
confused too. Come to think of it, this man
did not plan to buy my man a car but he’s
buying me a car? I’m sure there is something
big to all this care as there is no smoke
withouth fire.
Around 1pm, Temmy called to know where I
am as he, Dan and Sewa eventually joined us
at Funmi’s side.
Dan: Bro we are going that side together.
Me: You mean to Aramide’s side?
Temmy: Yeah. We felt it’s better if we are
many.
Me: Funny guys, am not going there to fight
now.
Temmy: Who knows?
Me: No problem, though I only tell Aramide
I’m coming with Funmi.
Funmi: You told her you are coming with me?
Me: Literarily she wants you to come with me.
Funmi: What’s up with both of you guys?
What’s your true story?
It was Dan that started narrating the whole
story to them. He narrated it word for word,
the same way mum said it.
Funmi: So mum is not your real mum?
Me: That’s the reality I just found myself
Funmi: Are we going to meet your real mum
at Aramide’s side?
Me: I don’t think so, though Aramide said
there is someb©dy she wants me to meet.
Temmy: It could be your mother
Me: Sincerely, I only want to acknowledge
Aramide. I’m not re-ady for real mother drama.
Dan: If your mother is there, what will you do?
Me: Honestly I don’t know. I’m not sure I’m
psychologically prepared for that event. I can
still take that of Aramide.
Temmy: That’s why we are going together in
case
Me: In case what?
Temmy: Just in case, you never can tell
Me: Thank God there are two vehicles now so I
don’t think we have any problem going
together. Sewa what’s up, are you this quiet?
Sewa: In-law I’m fine. You are looking good
today.
Me: Thanks for noticing, well I have
announcement for all.
Temmy: You and Funmi are now officially
d@t!ng. That’s not news anymore.
Dan: You eventually overcome your cowardice.
Me: What? How did you guys know all that?
Temmy: I have an insider you know
Me: Funmilola
Funmi: Baby I’m sorry, he asked about it while
we were chatting and I can’t lie
Temmy: Wait! You want to make it a surprise
before? Shuu, your relationsh!pis long
overdue.
Dan: Never the less, congrats guys. I’m happy
for you both. Janet, meet your fellow daughter
in law
Funmi: Janet? I thought Will said Ewa
Sewa: Don’t mind them, Dan always calls me
Janet but Will and Temmy said they prefer
Sewa.
Funmi: I think I love Ewa too. You are indeed
Ewa (Ewa means beauty)
Sewa: Thanks dear, it’s Sewa though.
We all pla-yed and joke along and I was
eventually able to pl@yPES with the guys
since Funmi now have a p@rtner in Sewa to
watch the movie together. Aramide’s call
c@m£ throu-gh around 3:30pm and we all set
to go her side.
It was as if we were going for an important
function as we went in two vehicles. I drove
Funmi’s corolla while Temmy drove Dan’s
Jeep. It was easy to locate Aramide’s place
using the well placed description she s£nt
earlier. The building wasn’t an hostel but a
3be-droom flat rented and shared among three
of them nursing students. They have a
common sitting room and that’s where we all
sited. Aramide and I excused ourselves into
her room to have a pri-vate chat. She sat on
the mattress while I settled for the only chair
in the room. For a moment we were just
looking at ourselves.
Me: You’ve known before we met at the p@rty
right?
Aramide: I know you are in this school and I
know you are in 500level, studying Mechanical
Engineering. I’ve been trying to look for
someb©dy with those credentials before the
p@rty.
Me: So the help at the p@rty was a mere
coincidence?
Aramide: From my research, I’ve discovered
you are the only Albert in 500level Mechanical
Engineering, but none of your names is
Kehinde. That create a doubt but nevertheless,
I saw an opportunity to talk to you at the
p@rty and I took it.
Me: If that incident didn’t happen, would you
have still talk to me?
Aramide: The incident was a spoiler. I planned
meeting you the moment I saw you eneter the
p@rty hall.
Me: What if I did not come to the p@rty,
because I was f0rç£d to that p@rty?
Aramide: I know I will get my chance one day.
It was my fiancée that was invited to the
p@rty, he only took me along.
Me: You said he’s around
Aramide: Yes, he’s at his friends place. He’ll
join us soon.
Me: My mother said you c@m£ with your mum
to our house.
Aramide: Yes, that’s where I saw your picture
and confirm. I even snapped it incase you’ll
still not believe. (She showed me the picture
on her phone)
Me: She also told me you were the one looking
for me, which is the reason why your mother
has been on her n£¢k.
Aramide: She’s your mother too Will
Me: Until she admits that, I’m not sure I can
call her that for now.
Aramide: Are you angry at her?
Me: we’ll talk about that one later. How did
you know you are a twin, because if you didn’t
come looking for me I might never know?
Aramide: I’ve always known because of my
name Taiwo. People kept asking me where my
Kehinde is and I in turn asked my mother. She
told me you are dead, so I kept telling people
you are no more.
Me: Hmm, that speaks volume
Aramide: She eventually told me the truth last
year
Me: Why did she? She got born again?
Aramide: (Smiles) Yeah, she got born again
last year but the main reason she told me was
because her husband started having affair
outside.
Me: You mean he’s cheating on her?
Aramide: It was something more than
cheating. He was looking for a male child my
mother could not give him.
Me: I don’t un-derstand
Aramide: We are three, I have two other
sisters but my mum was not able to conceive
again and my Dad was keen on having a male
child.
Me: You call him dad, but you don’t answer
his last name?
Aramide: He’s the one I know as my father
even though he never pla-yed it. My mum
solely took care of my education. I got to
know all this when his affair secret was
opened.
Me: Seems there is a lot this issue than we
can talk now.
Aramide: I’m really happy to have you as
brother. I’ve always carried that vacuum with
me, to know you are alive is a big joy to me.
Me: Funny I’ve always wanted to be a twin.
Though I would have preferred us being
identical but your beauty coupled with great
heart as replace that. I’m kinda loving you
now. Am I permitted to hvg you?
Aramide: I’ve always dream of that dear
brother
We both hvg in an emotional way and I felt a
vacuum in me was filled up that moment. I
don’t know where the sudden affection I
developed for her come from but I can tell I’m
so much loving her I don’t want to let her go.
I pray I have this kind of love for my mother
too, it will be sweet.
