I was doing my after school shift at the restaurant. School had been totally boring and I had sle-pt throu-gh it. I finished clearing a vacant table and carried the plates to the kitchen where Yuna, a girl who works at the restaurant with me was sitting. Her eyes were glued to the small TV in the kitchen.
“Yah, Yuna” I called taking off my apron
“Mwo?(What?)” She answered, her eyes still on the TV . I glanced at the TV to see what she was so engrossed in and I saw that it was a game show called “Star King” where celebrities and Idols pl@ygames and do other crazy things for the entertainment of the viewers. Oppa has been on the show before, he was told to wear high heels and dance to songs by female singers and groups ??
“Can you plea-se attend to the customers for now? I’m hungry and I want to eat” I requested and she sighed
“Arras-seo, but you have just 40 minutes. After that I will st©p attending to anyb©dy” She uttered and I nodded
“Kumahmida (Thank you)” I smiled and she gr@bb£d her own apron and walked out of the kitchen.
I immediately gr@bb£d a plate and a nicely done fried chicken and settled down to eat ?
As I was eating, I decided to watch TV too, but I wasn’t interested in watching Star King cause I didn’t know the Idols that were on it today. I took the remote and changed the channel to SBS MTV.
I rolled my eyes when I saw that they were showing one of Jessi’s music videos. I really don’t like her at all. I mean she has a really nice voice and she’s very pretty, plus the fact that she’s also signed un-der JP entertainment like Oppa. But I hate the way she dresses, she always wears clothes that expo-ses her s-en-sitive b©dy p@rts that are not meant to be seen. There has also been rumours in the past that she sle-pt her way to where she is now and that she’s gotten plastic surgery done on her bo-ob s and on her bu-tt. We even call her “JP Princess” because everyone knows that the CEO of JP entertainment favours her more than the others signed un-der the agency too.
Her music video ended and surprisingly, the next video that began pla-ying was Oppa’s own. It was his first ever music video when he debuted at the age of 17. The title of the song is “War of Love” .
In the music video, Oppa and his four friends were all crushing on the same girl, so they made a bet to see which one of them she would choose after they would have all approached her. I chuckled at how young Oppa looked in the video. He was wearing a white shi-t with a black jacket and p@n-ts and he had turned his cap backwards while his black hair fell over his face. The song took me down memory lane and I sang along to the chorus which is my favorite p@rt of the song;
?”Hello girl, tell me what you want right now,
And I’ll give it to you girl, right now,

Your back is the best”?
I also sang along to the other p@rts of the song that I could still remember. I laughed when it got to the p@rt in the video where Oppa pushed one of his friends out of the way so he could get to where the girl was and continue singing to her.
They each tried their best to win the girl’s heart, the first one bought her a box of chocolates but she rejected him, the second offered her a ride in his car but she still rejected him, the third bought her a diamond ring but she threw it at his face and walked away, the fourth decided to be the bad boy and f0rç£fully dragged her to the bathroom where he tried to k!ssher but she sl@pped him and ran away.
Then finally it was Oppa’s turn to try and woo her. He didn’t buy her a box of chocolates or a ring neither did he try to impress her with his car or try forcing himself on her. He just walked up to her gently and offered her a rose then he knelt down on one knee and began singing the bridge of the song;

The one that makes you smile and takes all your problems away,

plea-se accept my love,
I promise to take care of your heart and treat it with care”?
The girl smiled and blu-shed, holding the rose in her hand then she turned around and walked away. Oppa bec@m£ sad and walked over to his friends who were laughing at him, then suddenly the girl c@m£ out of nowhere and jumped on Oppa, hvgging him. The video ended with the girl choosing Oppa while his friends got jealous and started beating him up ??
I laughed remembering how much I had loved the song and the video when it was newly re-leased, I was just 15 years at that time and I fell madly in love with Oppa after watching it.
I was jo-lted back to the pres£nt when Yuna walked back into the kitchen
“It’s been 40 minutes Hyuna,” She said taking off her apron and I sighed, pushed the nearly finished chicken aside and gr@bb£d my apron before walking out of the kitchen.
I began heading straight to the tables when I heard two familiar voices, I moved closer and saw two girls seated at a table that was backing me. But wait, I think I know them, I g@sped when one of them turned around and I saw her face. OMG! It’s Dahyun and Soomin!

I stood frozen and £r£¢tlike a statue, staring at them with wi-de eyes as they smiled and waved to me.
“Yah, Hyuna. How are you? Come and sit with us” Dahyun called smiling and I blinked
“Annyeong (Hello)” I finally managed to say as I walked closer to their table and sat beside Dahyun, facing Soomin.
“So what’s up, how’ve you been?” Dahyun asked brightly
“I’ve been good” I replied smiling
“And you guys? How’ve you been?” I directed the question at both of them
“We’ve been super good” Soomin replied and Dahyun nodded
“I hope you’ve been enjoying my gift” Dahyun win-ked
“Aigoo, I can’t thank you enough, I love it soo much” I squealed and she laughed
“Well I’m very happy to hear that” She said and I smiled then I g@sped, remembering that I’m supposed to be taking their orders
“Omo(Oh my), I’m so dumb. plea-se let me take your orders” I said standing
“Oh no, don’t worry, we’re not ordering food” Soomin said
“Arras-seo, but at least let me offer you guys something. No matter how small” I said and scurried away before they can get a chance to refuse. I really want to do something nice for them cause they’ve been really good to me. I ran to the fridge and gr@bb£d two cans of soda then I walked back to their table
“Oh Hyuna, you didn’t have to bother yourself with doing this” Dahyun pouted and I chuckled
“Of course I do, it’s the least I can do to thank you for your gift” I said placing the drinks on the table.
“Alright then, if you insist” She shrugged, smiling
“But I’ll drink it only un-der one condition” She added
“What condition?” I asked chuckling
“That you’ll also get one for yourself and you’ll sit and chat with us for a while” She said and I smiled
“Arras-seo, I’ll go get mine” I shrugged and went to the fridge, returning with a small bottle of jui-ce. Then I sat beside Dahyun again
“Are you satisfied? Now will you accept my small gift?” I asked her and she laughed
“Ne(Yes), I’m very satisfied. Soomin, shall we?”
She asked and Soomin smiled
“We shall” Soomin replied and they both opened their sodas at the same time.
“Nice” I commented laughing, I also opened my jui-ce and we all began sipping from our drinks.
“So how was the concert?” I asked after a short while
“It was amazing” Dahyun replied
“Baekhyun is a really good performer” Soomin added and I nodded in agreement
“We’re really sorry you couldn’t go” Dahyun said softly
“It’s alright, I watched the livestream” I shrugged
“Watching the livestream is cool but there’s nothing that can compare to actually being there in person” Soomin said and I sighed
“Yes, you’ve not experienced life fully if you’ve never been to a Baekhyun concert before” Dahyun added sipping her soda
“I know I’ll go, someday” I sighed and Dahyun patted my back gently
“Yes you will, and don’t ever st©p believing that” She said and I nodded
“Speaking of Baekhyun, guess who was sp©tted at JP entertainment building this morning” Soomin said peering into her phone
“Oppa was at JP building today?” I g@sped and she nodded
“Yep, check the pictures out” She said handing me her phone. I reached out and accepted it
“Wow” I g@sped breathlessly as I looked at a picture of Oppa, he was wearing a white shi-t with a denim jacket and beige colour p@n-ts. He also had a hat on his head and he was putting on glas-ses. There were several pictures of him taken from different angles and he looked so handsome in every single one of them.
In one picture he was smiling and waving to his fans and in another one he was standing with a hvge man and a petite woman who was wearing a nose mask. I know that the hvge man is his b©dyguard but I didn’t know who the woman could be.
“It’s as if Oppa gets more handsome as the years go by” I said returning Soomin’s phone to her.
“Dahyun, you’ve been to his fan meeting right? What is it like to see him in person? Is he as handsome in person as he is in pics and videos?” I asked turning to Dahyun
“He’s even much more handsome in person, his smile is so bright and it’s as if he has diamonds in his eyes because they shine so brightly” Dahyun said and I smiled dreamily
“And his skin is as smooth and fair as a baby’s bottom” Soomin added and we laughed
“So you’ve seen him in person?” I asked Soomin and she nodded
“I saw him at the airport once, I and my family were flying to Thailand to attend a funeral. We were sitting and waiting to go on the plane when we suddenly heard screams and squeals. I stood and looked at the direction where they were coming from, and I saw him, dressed in a long stylish coat and p@n-ts and carrying a small duffel bag. He was surrounded by his b©dyguards and he was waving and smiling to the screaming fans. He walked by where we were sitting and our eyes met and he smiled and win-ked. Gosh! I nearly fainted” She said and I smiled, I’m pretty sure that if Oppa was to smile and wi-nk at me, I would die right there on the sp©t ??
“He’s much taller in person, I was so surprised. I honestly didn’t know he’s that tall” Soomin added and I sighed dreamily. Oppa! When will I get to see you in person? ??

{Few hours later}

I was laying on my be-d later at night staring at the ceiling. I had chatted with Dahyun and Soomin for a while before they bade me goodnight and left. Dahyun had even written down her phone number and address for me on a piece of paper.
?”Call me whenever you want to”?
Her voice echoed in my head and I smiled. I gro-an ed and sat up in be-d. I nee-d to study.
I gr@bb£d my textbooks and opened one but I nee-ded something to help me concentrate so I stood up and wore Oppa’s shi-t before settling down to re-ad.
I studied till 3AM in the morning before I fell asleep ???
