“Hyuna! They’ve arrived!” Luhan yelled from the living room. I sprang up from my be-d and bolted downstairs where I found Luhan talking with 3 women. The women were all carrying things on their hands; one of them had a pink makeup box beside her, the second one was carrying a smaller box that was the size of a mini briefcase while the third was carrying an enclosed hanger that looked like it had clothes inside.
“Annyeong” I greeted, bowing to them and they all nodded in acknowledgement
“They were s£nt by the agency to help you get re-ady for the p@rty tonight” Luhan said and my eyes beamed
OMG!! they’re going to give me a total makeover for the dinner p@rty tonight! This is so awesome ??
“Oh, Arras-seo” I mouthed
“Let’s go up to my room then” I beckoned to the women and they nodded and followed me.
Then for the next 3 hours, I let them totally transform me into a diva. They added extensions to my hair to make it longer, then they curled it with a curling iron. They did my nails ? and my makeup. I have never worn so much makeup before ??
When they were done, I couldn’t even recognize myself when I looked in the mirror. My face was coated in flawless makeup and myl-ips were blessed with bright redl-ipstick ?. Aigoo! ?? I didn’t know I was this gorgeous

The house had never been this busy before, 5 women had arrived earlier with racks and racks of suits that I was expected to try on so I would pick one that I would wear to the dinner p@rty tonight. I had tried on 5 suits alre-ady and I didn’t like any of them. I tried on the sixth one and looked at my reflection in the mirror.
“I think I like this one” I uttered still checking myself out in the mirror
“Ohh Thank goodness! Finally” Sihyeon breathed and I sm-irked
“Who designed it?” I asked the other 5 women standing beside Sihyeon
“Alexander McQueen” one of them replied and I nodded
“Okay fine, now that you’ve chos£n a suit let’s get your hair and every other thing done” Sihyeon said hurriedly

I walked down the stairs slowly in my stiletto heels using my left hand to lift my dress up slightly so I wouldn’t trip. The women who dressed me up had alre-ady left after I thanked them immensely. Luhan was waiting for me in the living room so we could go together. I descended the last step and catwalked into the living room where Luhan was sitting in a position with his back facing me
“Luhan?” I called softly and he turned around. His eyes wi-de-ned and his mouth opened when he saw me, he was dressed in a stylish suit with no tie and he looked handsome
“Whoa” He mouthed “you look breathtaking” He complimented and I blu-shed
“Kumawoyo (Thanks), and you look handsome” I said
“Thanks, shall we? We’re alre-ady late. The Red carpet reception started about 45 minutes ago” He replied and I nodded
“Arras-seo, Kaja (Okay, Let’s go)”

We arrived at JP building to find the paparazzi and screaming fans outside the building. I straightened my suit before walking towards the entrance as Bobby and Sihyeon followed behind. As usual, the fans and the paparazzi were standing behind the steel fences to keep them in check. Their screams increa-sed when I got to where they were, I waved to them and stood a few feet from them to allow them take a few pictures.
? “Oppa! You look really handsome tonight!!”
? “Baekhyun, you’re looking good!!”
They yelled to me and I smiled and bowed before finally walking into the building.

{JP Building, Gangnam Province, Seoul}

Luhan and I arrived at JP building, he suggested we enter the building throu-gh the back so we could avoid the screaming fans and paparazzi at the main entrance. We walked to the banquet hall and my mouth nearly fell open, it was so hvge! The ceiling was really high and the room was filled with people dressed in really expensive and luxurious clothes standing together in small groups with tall wine glas-ses in their hands.
Waiters and waitresses dressed in white and black, carrying trays with wine glas-ses walked around the hall while people took glas-ses from the trays. Luhan offered his hand to me so we could descend the stairs that led into the hall
“Thanks” I smiled, putting my arm around his and we slowly climbe-d down the stairs and stood, looking around. I looked around in the crowd but I didn’t see any familiar faces, then I looked in a direction and I froze when my eyes met with his. OMG! It’s Oppa! ?
? Baekhyun’s POV ?
I was standing in the banquet hall in a small group consisting of Mia, all 5 members of THE VORTEX and finally Jessi. Mia was saying something to us when two people walked into the hall. I looked in their direction and my wine glas-s sli-pped from my hand and crashed to the floor. Mia and the rest made sounds of shock but I paid no attention to them, I just couldn’t believe who I was seeing; it’s her! The girl I bu-mped into! The same girl that I shared a weird electric shock with, I can’t believe she’s here!
She’s looking even more beautiful than the last time I saw her, She was wearing an armless, off-shoulder red dinner go-wn, herl-ips were coated in redl-ipstick and her long brown hair fell on her shoulders. Gosh, she’s gorgeous ? ?
Our eyes met and we stared into each others eyes, I felt my heart beating fas-ter than normal. Park Young-Hoo was totally right! She’s here and I get to see her again!
She was standing beside Park Luhan and their arms were interlocked. Are they a couple? I pray not.
“Baekhyun!” Taeyang’s voice broke into my thoughts and I turned to them. Mia was staring at me with a weird look in her eyes, she glanced over at the girl and then back at me. I guess she saw me staring at her
“Where’s your head at Hyung? Are you still here with us?” Taeyang asked and I t©uçhed my forehead
“Miahneyo, I just got carried away” I muttered before looking back at where Luhan and the girl stood
I have to find a way to talk to her and ask her for her name. I watched in admiration as Luhan whispered something to her and she smiled,
Gosh, her smile is so beautiful

I had taken a glas-s of wine from a waiter and I was sipping it casually, trying to act as normal as possible when in reality my heart was racing. Every time Oppa glanced over at me and our eyes met, my heart would leap and my knees went weak. It’s probably because of how good he looks tonight in that shiny black suit with matching p@n-ts, he had permed his hair and it fell over his forehead in lushious shiny black curls and instead of wearing a boring tie, he had a silver n£¢klace around his n£¢k.
“Hyuna!” A female voice squeaked, jo-lting me out of my thoughts. I turned around and saw Welchi walking up to where Luhan and I stood. She was wearing a knee-length lemon-green sequence dress that showed off her flawless doll-like figure and she had her hair up in a neat ponytail t©pped off with light makeup on her face.
“Welchi! So great to see you” I said smiling and we hvgged
“It’s great to see you too and woww you look gorgeous!” She breathed and I blu-shed
“Kumawoyo” I smiled then she noticed Luhan who had been staring at us with a boyish smile on his face
“Oh I’m so sorry, I didn’t notice you c@m£ with your b©yfri£nd” Welchi said and I spat out my wine in shock. Welchi and Luhan g@sped and Luhan quic-kly handed me a napkin to clean my mouth
“Oh my god Hyuna, be careful” He scolded as I carefully wiped my mouth with the napkin so as not to accidentally wipe off myl-ipstick.
“Umm Welchi, Luhan is not my b©yfri£nd. He’s………. just a friend who I’m squ-atting with” I said after wiping my mouth
“Ohh okay, I’m so sorry. It’s just that I saw the both of you together and I just as-sumed he’s your b©yfri£nd” She said and I glanced nervously at Luhan to see his reaction but he didn’t seem bothered at all, infact he was actually smiling!
I was about to say something when a voice from a microphone interrupted me
“May I have everyone’s attention?”
We all turned in the direction to see a man standing in the middle of the room with a head Mic attached to his ear.
“Thank you for your attention. Anyway I would like to inform you all that the c0cktail p@rty is over and now it’s time for the unveiling. Everyone should plea-se move to the JP garden” He announced and the murmuring resumed as everyone began walking out of the room.
I glanced over at where Oppa was and I saw the CEO’S daughter pu-lling him out of the room, he looked back at me before following her out.
“Hyuna, why are we still standing? Let’s join the others!” Welchi said and Luhan nodded in agreement
“Arras-seo, Kaja (Okay, Let’s go)” I muttered and we followed everyone. As we were walking to the garden, I felt like using the bathroom
“Umm guys, I nee-d to use the ladies room. Go on and I’ll catch up when I’m done” I said to them
“Okay but hurry up, we’ll save you a seat” Luhan replied and I smiled with a nod before turning back to find a bathroom.
? Baekhyun’s POV ?
“C’mon Baeky, I want to get the best seats at the garden so we won’t miss any of the action” Mia urged as she continued pu-lling me towards the garden
“Fine, let’s go then” I sighed then I looked behind to see if I could catch another glimpse of the girl for the hundredth time. I’ve been stealing glances at her since she walked into the banquet hall looking like a goddess.
I frowned slightly when I saw her st©p and turn back, it looks like she was going back to the hall or something, wait this is actually my chance to get her alone
“Mia, I think I’ll catch up with you cause I forgot my phone in the hall” I lied and she st©pped and pouted
“Geez Baeky, you’re so forgetful. Alright go and get your phone and I’ll save you a seat” She said and heaved a sigh of relief, thank goodness she fell for it.
I turned around and headed in the same direction I saw the girl and I was right, she was heading towards the hall. I watched her walk towards a door that leads to a bathroom in the hall. I smiled to myself, now I have her where I want her.
? Hyuna’s POV ?
I walked into the bathroom and did my business then I washed my hands and air dried them before walking out to find a gorgeous human being standing aHe in the hall. My heart beat accelerated and I swear I almost fainted when he looked at me and smiled. It’s him! ? Oppa!
We walked closer to each other and st©pped when we were just a few feet ap@rt. The clos£ness gave me a chance to look into his eyes and I saw that he was wearing light grey contact lenses which made his eyes even more beautiful.
“Annyeong, do you remember me?” He asked smiling
“Even if I tried I would never be able to forget you” I blurted without thinking and I g@sped when I realized what I had just said

I prayed silently in my head
“Oh okay then. I’m glad” He smiled and I suddenly had a strong urge to gr-ab him and k!ssthe life out of those beautifull-ips of his. I shook my head vigorously to clear the lvstful thought out and Oppa noticed this and chuckled
“What’s wrong?” He asked
“Oh no……I…… it’s nothing” I stuttered and he nodded and smiled
“Arras-seo, I was really surprised to see you here, are you signed un-der JP?” He asked again and I blinked. OMG, Am I actually having a real conversation with Oppa?!!??
“Ummm y……yes, I’m actually a model. I just signed my contract a few days ago” I said, trying not to bite my ton-gue
“Woww that’s nice” He commented, flashing me his flawless smile
“Kumawoyo” I smiled back and we stood quietly for about 3 seconds, staring into each others eyes and smiling like fools
“So do you mind telling me your name? I really want to know” He said after a while and my jaw dropped.
Oh my godddd! He’s asking for my name! He wants to know my name!
“H……Hyuna, Kim Hyuna. My name is Kim Hyuna” I stuttered and he smiled
“Enchanted to make your acquaintance, my lady” He said and bowed while I blu-shed and giggled like a little girl
“The plea-sure is actually mine Oppa” I said with my cheeks heating up
“plea-se just call me Baekhyun” He replied
“I’m afraid I won’t be able to do that even if I tried. I’ve been calling you Oppa long before I met you, it’s going to be quite ha-rd to st©p” I said honestly and he grinned
“Well it’s okay. I believe with time you’ll get used to it. Anyway, we should probably join the others now cause I’m sure they will be looking for us” He stated and I nodded in agreement
“Can I ask you for a favour?” He asked and I blinked
“S……..Sure”
“Will you sit with me when we get to the garden? I want to get to know you” He said and my jaw dropped
He wants me to sit with him ??

“Shall we?” He asked and I blu-shed and put my trembling arm around his.
“Kaja (Let’s go)” I whispered
