Episode 49

With all the evidence at hand and also the testimony of the witness proves Kamil guilty, ” the judge said while Sonia stood up feeling so heart broken as she watch her son Who’s face was bend in shame.
“You’re hereby sentence fifteen years imprisonment,” he said with finality.
Then turn to Audrey who was standing in the other box.
“Audrey Kendall you’re found guilty with all the evidence we have at hand and you’re hereby sentence thirty five years imprisonment for the murder of Maria Rudoulp and also the attempt murder of Ca-ssandra Vincente, ” the judge said with finality then turn to Kendall who held a pity face.
“The Mastermind and the evil one I can say. You’re found guilty with and your sentence will be life imprisonment, ” he said with finality.
” Oh no, ” Kendall held his chest, as tears stream down his face.

⏭️Josie stood up as he watch his son Kamil hand-cuffed and was taken out by the police with Audrey behind followed by Kendall. He felt so pity for Kamil and but then he have to pay for the crimes he has committed. He wondered why he have to ra-ped the innocent girl and Audrey will go ahead to still kill her.
Ca-ssie held a victorious smile and hug-ged her dad and uncle.
“We did it dad.. they’re all gone,” she let out her tears.
” Am so happy now. We all can finally live in peace,” Vicente smile.
Ca-ssie also hug-ged Ann.
“Thank you Ann, we did it,” she smile.
“Sure.. ,”
“But Dave did most of the things.. how did he do it? I mean we thought he was a suspect too and he never told you any of his plans? Ca-ssie asked.
“He never did.. he lied to me about many things yet he was so angry that I also deceived him,” Ann said so bitter.
” We will talk about this when we get home Ca-ssie. Congratulations once more,” Ann said with a sad smile then left.
Ca-ssie went to Tony who was with his family about to leave..
“Thank so much Dave,” she said while he stopped then look at her.
” It’s Tony, am no longer Dave,” he said with a straight face.
” Tony.. thank you so much I appreciate. It was your evidence that gave meaning to everything we just did today,” Ca-ssie let out a small smile.
” I had to and am glad to finally get the justice my sister and every victim out there truly deserve. I had to search de-ep into your case and luckily I got the CCTV footage from that ware house,” he said.
” I appreciate you a lot for that Dave.. I mean Tony. And I apologise on behalf of my friend. She have to befriend you because you were interested in her so she can get some information from you. If only we know,” she said sadly.
” It’s okay, everyone did what they thought is right for them. It’s all over now and I have no business here again. I will go back to Mexico next week and continue with my life,” he said and with that he walked out with his mom and brother.

????Justice is finally served,” A lot of people outside kept shouting and throwing rotten fruits at Kendall, Audrey and Kamil when they were taken out by the police.
????You all deserve to rot in jail,” they yelled at them.

A car drove in and parked at the parking lot. Austin and Stacy came out of the car.
“Wow” Austin said seeing alot of people there.
“This serious. It was a tough case indeed. Miguel told me everything, especially now that one of the convicted is his brother,” Austin said.
” Ca-ssandra Vincente,” Stacy frown.
“She was the girl I meet in their house and Miguel almost killed me because of her and now he helped her push throu-ghwith her revenge.. maybe she have finally caught his attention,” Austin whispers to her.
Stacy frowned as she remembered her encounter with Ca-ssie few years back.
“I can’t let her be above me or take what belong to me. Miguel was mine to begin with,” she said.
” Aren’t you happy with us being together.. Miguel will only end up hating you,”
” If am not having Miguel then no one would actually do that and not even that poor brat Ca-ssie,” she frown then walked inside, eyes-searching for Miguel. Luckily she spotted him coming from the building and she quickly walk up to him.
“Miguel,” she smile..
“Stacy.. what are you doing here? He asked surprised seeing her.
“It’s been a while Miguel and I missed you. Am just here to celebrate your victory in wining the case with Ca-ssie,” she smile while Miguel remembered what Ca-ssie told him about Stacy. He wondered if this congratulations is really genuine.
“Okay.. but I don’t think you’re welcome here,” he said.
” When it comes to you am always welcome everywhere I stepped in,” she smile then wink at him and moved closer.
” Are you still gonna reject me? haven’t you punish me enough by avoiding me.. I won’t give up on you my love,” she whisper
” Besides you look so tired, maybe I can help you feel better,” she smile seductively.
Behind him she sighted Ca-ssie coming and she quickly grabbed his collar and slammed her li-ps on his, taking him by surprise.

Ca-ssie step outside looking for Miguel, she hasn’t seen him after the judge made the final judgement. She followed throu-ghthe other door and went outside surprised to see him and with a lady..
“Miguel..,” she called when he pulled away from the ki-ss and turn to Ca-ssie.
“Stacy,” Ca-ssie was surprised to see her, it was when she came closer she recognized it was Stacy, the last person she had on her mind..
“Congratulations Ca-ssandra,” Stacy smirked as she stretch her hand for a hand shake…

“Dave,” Ann called as she quickly rush outside to catch up with him before he leaves.
“It’s Tony not Dave,” he said.
“You.. lie to me! She said while he scoffed.
” Like seriously are you feeling bad now? I was only been so careful because no one knows about me and I was planning to tell you everything not until you deceive me. Atleast I never lied to you about my feelings,” he scoffed.
” Okay… We just couldn’t trust ourselves..
” It’s okay Ann. I will be returning back to Mexico soon, everything is over now,” he said then left while Ann watch him leave so broken.

“A lot has happened recently,” Austin said as he slowly sipped a glas-sof whiskey. After the long and hectic day Austin insisted they went to a quiet bar to have a glas-sof drink with Miguel.
” The most important thing now is that the evil ones are behind bars,” Miguel said.
” But who would have thought you have a brother else where and the only time you get to know about him is when you’re all fighting against him,” Austin said.
” I don’t have a brother anywhere. Kamil is just a mistake dad made few years back and now everything here seems to affect us, it turned out that Kamil is just a bad luck to everyone,” he said
” And Stacy.. why is she back with her dumb excuses? He asked.
“Maybe she just want you guys to make things right. She truly loved you and that’s why she came back for you, ”
” I don’t think so…
“Probably because of the new girl right..? Austin asked while Miguel stood up.
“Is it about Ca-ssie now? Is there something you aren’t telling me? Austin asked curiously.
“It’s nothing. It’s getting late already I have to go now,” he said before leaving. Miguel went to his car outside and got in as he ignite the engine, he wonder why Stacy have to show up at this time, a frown crept on his face when he remembered what she did, taking him by surprise with a ki-ss probably because of Ca-ssie. He thought.

Ca-ssie smiled as the watch the people around looking so happy. The place look so different now and the happy faces alone gives her joy.
???? “This what we all longed for, to be free from those pest that torment us, we need a new Mayor and people who will be true leaders,” she said.
???? ” Sure.. Ca-ssie. Thank you for standing up for all of us here,” an elderly woman said.
???? ” All our properties have been released now, this what we call a total freedom,” another said.
???? ” If only we knew Kamil was no different from Kendall non of us would have vote him, am glad you put them in their right position,” a lady said.
???? ” But you seems really close to Miguel.. rumours has it that Kamil is related to the Montes, I was just wondering why his family will watch him go to jail. Please Ca-ssie, you have to be more careful now,”
” Sure I will,” Ca-ssie smiled as she walked back to their house.

” I missed here,” she smile, looking around the place. She missed being there and now that her revenge plan is over she’s planning to come back to her hometown and start her life afresh.
“Everything looks okay here,” Terri arranged the table.
” When are you finally coming back here? Vicente asked
” Next week dad,”
“Oh.. have you tell Miguel about that, am sure he will miss you,” Terri said.
” I will do that anytime we get to meet,” she said.
” Ca-ssie…” Ann called as she walked inside.
“Bestie…” Ca-ssie smile happily as she hug-ged her.
“You came right on time… Dad and uncle Terri have packed back here,”
“Really.. are you coming back here now? Ann asked.
“Sure.. to start my life afresh here, free of worries and any other thing,” she smile.
” I have something to tell you,” Ann said as she dragged her outside to a more quiet place.
“You are leaving Manila to come back here? Ann asked surprised.
“What about Miguel?
” And why is everyone asking about Miguel.. of course he’s doing okay and he will also agree to my idea,” Ca-ssie said
” But I did thought something is going on between you two… I thought you’ve found true love…,”
” Huh.. how boring your talk can be atimes,” Ca-ssie sigh.
” I think he’s back with Stacy,” she said with a sad face.
“What! Stacy.. that witch that wanted to ruin your life? Ann asked surprised.
“I was so angry when I first saw her.. I even caught them ki-ssing. Maybe Miguel is planning to take her back, that’s non of my business,” she frown.
” Are you really sure.. you aren’t jealous? Ann teased.
” Cut that shit off Ann. It’s annoying you know. I just want to focus on my career of being a nurse and nothing else. I think my relationship with Kamil is the last one I will ever had. My heart is too fragile to be broken again and am more wiser now I don’t give a damn to any guy. Miguel have his life to live and I have no right to question him,” Ca-ssie said.
” Sure… But when love comes knocking please give it a chance. Not every man out there is like Kamil,” she said.
” Look who’s lecturing me on Love.. a novice for that matter,” Ca-ssie rolled her eyes.
” Am just concerned about you.. ,” Ann said.
“And what about Dave or should I say Tony?
” Let not talk about him,” Ann said sadly.
“Haven’t you guys make it up to each other? Let just say you both deceived each other and live a life of deceit but now that the truth is out you two can still make it work if you really love each other,” Ca-ssie said.
” I know Ca-ssie but am just confuse.. I don’t even know if he left for Mexico as he said or not. I took his love for granted and wasn’t too serious at all but to be honest I felt bad when he knew about my plan because he was hurt because of me and I just want to set things right between us but he don’t want to give me a chance. Whichever way anyway! He has every right to be angry with me..

Listen.. if you truly like Dave, you can go ahead and tell him before he leaves and if it doesn’t work out then you two aren’t meant for each other. ” Sure.. ,” Ann smile, blinking back the tears in her eyes.
” Come on bestie… Don’t let this love of a thing get you frustrated,” Ca-ssie pulled her into a hug-ged.

In Kendall’s cell…

“Quick old man,” one of the huge strong man among them yelled at him.
It was the late hour of the night, he wake Kendall up from sleep to fan him because he’s feeling heat.
“Don’t you even have respect at all,” Kendall said in anger while the man Punched him.
” Arrggg..
” am the boss here and everyone do as I said. You’re not an exemption and I don’t care about your age. If your age really matters to you then you wouldn’t have commit a crime to come here,” he fired back at him.
” It all started with Ca-ssie.. maybe if they haven’t did that to her non of this would have happened. They all thought she was poor and had no one to support her, they thought she’s naive and can’t even stood to defend herself, they thought she was madly in love with Kamil and won’t watch him go down this easily… But now she came back and destroyed us all. The Montes have to pay for this too,” Kendall recalled how it all started as he held his chest, his view was getting blury and his head was aching so bad….
“They will pay for this,” he said before collapsing to the floor..

The next morning..✨
Audrey rushed to the clinic with the cops behind her to see her dying father.
“Dad.. dad,” she quickly rushed and squat beside his bed.
‘my dad is dying, he need to be taken to a good hospital for a proper check up,” Audrey yelled at the cops standing behind her.
“He requested to see you and we are good enough to bring you here probably to fulfill his last wish,” one of the female cops said while Audrey stood up and try to punch her but the cop held her back, twisted her hand, then hand-cuffed her.
“Still acting tough.. huh,”
“Make them pay Audrey..,” Kendall said holding his chest firmly as he began to cough out blood.
“Dad…,” Audrey cried but she was dragged away by the cops. She watch her father died there but there was nothing she could do.
“This where you belong,” the cops pushed her inside the cell and locked it up.
“Look who we have here again… Crying like a baby,” one of her roommates said while they all burst out laughing. Audrey stood up and wipe her tears as she held unto the iron bar, all she wanted is revenge.. to kill Ca-ssie..
“For bringing me back to this zero Level.. you will pay Ca-ssie. An eye for an eye… A father for a father.. am coming for you, to destroy you all,” she smirked as she thought of a way to escape inorder to execute her revenge…
