“We will find Out when we see them, br@ce up and get re-ady kids, we are going to the jungle…..” Pedro announced.

“Whaaaaat” we all exclaimed.

He didn’t say anything else, he just stood up, placed his hat back on his head which made him look like a Mexican cowboy, funny!

He snapped his f!nger before walking out of the room, the first b©dy guard lifted ru-by, Henry and Michael and dragged them Out of the room.

The second one went to Kira but she st©pped him.

“Just say move and I’ll move” she stated, sometimes I just admire her authoritative spirit but she abused it on her friends.

“Move” the b©dy guard instructed with a de-ep voice. She rolled her eyes at him and Walked out.

He went to Bathny but she waved at him and shook her head. “Uh uh, don’t t©uçh me” she warned and walked out voluntarily.

The guard turned to Kiwi and she stood up immediately. “You and your boss should really go to school and learn how to communicate with people instead of bossing them around” she stated and fli-pped her long hair at the guard before walking out. I’m loving her new confidence and it all happened in one night.

Speaking of one night, I nee-d to go home or perhaps call my parents otherwise they will be so worried and I will be grounded for ages. I wonder if they will let us go home at all.

“Do you two nee-d an invitation before you leave” the guard brou-ght me back to reality.

I felt Marichuiy’s soft hand wra-p around my arm.

“I was calling you but you seemed to be de-ep in thought, let’s go” she said and dragged me out of the room, we walked into a broad hallway with doors few feet away on each side of the walls.

“What were you thinking about?” Marichuiy asked me as we walked down the hallway, following the rest toward the stainless steel double doors elevator.

“Just thinking about my parents, they would be worried by now, I don’t usually stay out until 3:am” I replied, her face changed to a sad mood.

“I’m so sorry Dave, this is all my fault, I shouldn’t have come to the p@rty, y’all wouldn’t be in this mess if I had stayed back home, I’m sorry for being a bad luck to you” she mumbled.

“Hey, it’s not your fault, you were at the p@rty for your own Good reason, you didn’t know you would meet us there, and see, if you weren’t at the p@rty as you saw in your dreams, you wouldn’t have met your Mr. Helper” I said to her.

“Ugh, does it seem to you like this guy is helping us? Dude is using us, can’t you see the way he’s treating us like slaves, if he was helping, he would have at least offered us as littlest as a glas-s of water, he doesn’t even know what help means, he wants us to find my parents or probably lead him to that temple ourselves using that map, I don’t think he can re-ad not to talk of re-ading maps” she voiced out humorously and I laughed.

“What’s so funny” the de-ep voice of the guard stuttered us.

“Jesus, dude reduce your voice while talking, especially when you notice the person you are talking to is closer to you” she advised him.

I was expecting him to shoot us or beat us or something but instead he said “sorry” with a de-ep soft voice, Marichuiy and I exchanged glances in confusion.

We finally got to the elevator, we joined the rest, it was large enough to contain all of us.

Salvador pressed the last floor bu-tton.

“Sir can we at least go home and inform our parents and probably park a few things for the journey?” ru-by asked as we waited for the elevator to start moving.

“No” he replied and pressed the bu-tton twice again but it still didn’t move. “You..” He tapped Marichuiy. “Out” he instructed, she walked out of the cozy machine room, and the double doors slammed shut. Salvador pressed the roof bu-tton and in two seconds the elevator started moving upward until we got to the roof t©p, we could clearly see the town and the Beverly Hills sign which stood about miles away from the building.

“Of course, cursed girl in an elevator, how will it move the second time?” Salvador scoffed out rhetorically. He pressed the t©p floor bu-tton, and the elevator moved back down to where we c@m£ from, the doors opened and Marichuiu was still standing there b!tt!g her f!nger and her eyes looked glas-sy as if she was about to cry, she lifted her head up and cleaned her face when she saw us.

“I wasn’t crying” she sniffed out.

“You know you were” Salvador replied without emotions. “You will use the stairs” he stated, Marichuiy nodded childishly, he was about closing the stairs when I st©pped him.

“Wait, I want to go with her” I stated and stepped out.

“Dave at you insane, you can’t do that” Kira whimpered.

“Listen to your girlfriend Dave” Salvador backed up.

“She’s not his girlfriend”
“She’s not my girlfriend” Michael and I said almost at the same time.

“Oh, well she seem to be more attatched to him so I thought…… Never mind, well see you guys down stairs” he stated and wanted to close the doors but Bathny jumped out followed by Kiwi and that made the doors to open again.

“Bathny and Kiwi get back here” Kira spat out.

“Tell that to your grand mother” Bathny blurted out.

“What she said” Kiwi added and Kira g@sped.

“Umh, actually, I’m gonna go with them as well, just to make sure Dave is OK” Henry said and walked out.

“Me too, just to protect the girls” ru-by stated referring to Bathny and Kiwi.

I signaled Michael to come out with Kira too, probably we might find a way to get out of here together while Salvador and his guards Rode in the elevator.

“Umh, I think we will also go with them” Michael finally said when he un-derstood my signal but Kira will always be Kira.

“Nope, no, no I’m not taking the stairs, I’m not gonna stress my beautiful legs when there’s a working elevator here, no way” she complained.

“Dumb bit-ch” Henry mumbled beside me and ru-by palmed his face.

“Babe come on, it’s better we go with people we know than this people” Michael tried to convince her.

“He’s ma-king s-en-se babe” Salvador added which got Me thinking, is he that dumb or he just knows what he’s doing, well only one way to find out.

“But babe, we are talking about almost 25 flights of stairs..” Kira mumbled.

“30 actually” Salvador ch!pped in.

“Thanks for trying to make it more difficult” Michael fired at him.

“And its all for this witch” Kira pointed at Chuiy, yeah I’m still working on the short name to be calling her, lol.

Kira finally stepped out and everyone breathed in a sigh of relief. This girl is a whole bundle of trouble mehn.

The elevator doors closed and started its journey down to the last floor.

“OK, so what’s the plan?” Michael asked.

“Plan for what?” Kira asked.

“Escape route dummy” ru-by replied rudely.

“Must you really insult me just because I asked a question?” Kira fired at him.

“No time for this, we gotta go” Bathny stated.

“How?” Henry asked.

“The stairs of course” Marichuiy replied.

“What! I was really expecting you guys to have something good, like maybe a way we can jump off this building without getting to the last floor” Kiwi said and we all stared at her as if she has gon crazy, I don’t get it, is it that she activates her dumb side sometimes, what sort of dumb nons-en-se did she just say.

“Yea, probably we have an helicopter waiting for us at the roof” ru-by fired at her and she bought it.

“Good, so let’s go” she whimpered in excitement and wanted to run off but Bathny dragged her back.

“He was being sarcastic” she said to her.

“Oh” Kiwi replied. “So what’s the real plan that is not sarcasm?” She asked.

“The only way is to get to the last floor before them, there has to be an exit door there” Marichuiy stated.

“How are we going to get to the last floor before them when they are using elevator while the only thing we have is stairs and our weak legs” Michael complained.

“Or maybe we should all jump from here directly Down to the last floor” ru-by suggested, we all looked throu-gh the spiral stairs and saw the ground looking like a doughnut.

“That is clearly dumber than jumping from the roof” Michael stated.

“It’s spiral stairs, how did he know that the stairs are 30 flights when they are spiral?” Bathny asked the obvious question.

“It means he knows nothing about shapes and forms or geometry” I replied.

“He clearly knows nothing, dumb a*s” Michael cursed un-der his breath and we laughed.

“OK, we really gotta go, I’m sure they might almost be at the last floor.” Bathny said and everyone rushed to the stairs.

“I’ll be back” I said to them and rushed back to the elevator.

“Dave where are you going?” I heard Kira and Marichuiy ask but I ignored them, I got the elevator and located the control switch, I opened the lid and fli-pped the main switch off, that will probably st©p the elevator half way.

I ran back to the stairs and realize they were all waiting for me. “Let’s go”

“That was a smart move” Marichuiy commented and I smiled at her, she smiled back.

We started running down but I noticed Kira wasn’t coming along.

“Hey Kira what’s up, we gotta go” I called on her, everyone st©pped and stared back at her. She was staring at a blue bu-tton that rested on the wall. She pressed the bu-tton, and like a tire wheel the stairs started moving down wards.

“These stairs has a lifter, damn” ru-by exclaimed.

“I suspected it, so I decided to give it a try” Kira stated with a smile.

“Smart move babe” Michael complimented as the stairs took us down.

“Really that was smart Kira” I said to her.

“Thanks” she smiled at me and I smiled back for the first time.

As we were going down I noticed more blue bu-ttons few feet away from each other. We were five stairs away from the ground when the stairs st©pped moving, I noticed the blue bu-ttons spark twice and the stairs started moving backwards.

“Marichuiy” everyone screamed out loud.

“Sorry” she apologized and covered her eyes in shame, I had to laugh, she looked cute and Adorable.

“Girl you are really a curse” ru-by mumbled and everyone laughed.

“Let’s just st©p the stairs from moving backwards” Michael shouted.

“How” Henry asked.

I saw another blue bu-tton, I managed to hit on it and the stairs st©pped moving.

“Great, just great” Kira lamented.

“Come on Kira we are just 10 stairs away” Bathny said to her and started running down, we joined her.

“Oh so now you wanna talk to me” Kira asked her but she didn’t reply.

We finally got down and headed for the door which has exit sign above it. But then I noticed that Marichuiy wasn’t coming, I st©pped and called on everyone to st©p and they did. I went back to her.

“Hey, what’s wrong, let’s go”

“No, you guys should go on, I’ve caused you so much trouble alre-ady, also I nee-d to go with Salvador, I nee-d to find my parents and that temple and he’s the only one that can help, even though he’s trying to use my mum and I but I nee-d that map, otherwise I won’t break free from this curse, so you guys should go home” she stated and cleaned the tears threatening to fall off her eyes.

“Marichuiy listen, I promise you, if you come with us, we will help you find your parents and the temple, Henry can hack into Salvador’s email to get a copy of the map, OK, come on let’s go” I as-sured her.

“You will do that?” She asked and I nodded and cleaned her tears.

“I’m not among that plan, I ain’t going anywhere” Kira shouted, must this girl always spoil everything.

“Well Bathny and I will do it” I shouted back at her.

“Yea” Bathny backed up.

“And me too, that is if you still want someone else” Kiwi ch!pped, I sheepishly smiled at her, she blu-shed and smiled back. “Also my parents won’t even notice my abs£nce cause they are always too busy with work” she complained. Well thats one thing with rich Beverly Hills parents, always too busy with work and know less to nothing about their kids.

“I’ll help too” Henry waved.
“Me too” ru-by added.
“So what’s the plan?” Michael asked.
“You always ask of plans, can’t you make plans too?” ru-by asked him.

“Well I’m more of a doer than a planner, in other words I’m the strength in this ‘wolf park’ lol, Dave is the strategist, the planner, the br@in, the br@ve, and you guys, I really don’t know your dep@rtment, let’s just say you two are the tag alongs” Michael replied, Henry and ru-by rushed him while we all laughed, when they finally st©pped fighting, Michael pleaded with Kira and she finally accepted to help.

“So come on, let’s go” I dragged Marichuiy, she giggled and shouted “Thanks guys” as we run out the door.

“Thats weird” Bathny stated as we all st©pped, instead of seeing the streets and moving vehicles as we expected, instead we found ourselves in a slightly dark room.

“Wasn’t that the exit door, or did we re-ad something else” I asked.

“Oh it was the exit door” we g@sped when we heard Salvador’s voice echoing in the room, we heard a beep sound followed by blinding lights that started illuminating the room. It was actually a mini conference hall, Salvador seated on the supposed boss’s arm chair, he rocked himself on the chair as he watched us. His two b©dy guards stood on each of his sides.

He then looked at his diamond ice watch.
“20 minutes, not bad” he stated.

“How did you.. How” Marichuiy stammered as she pointed at him.

“I’m pretty sure I st©pped that elevator halfway” I said to him throu-gh angry gritted teeth.

“Oh yes you did, smart move by the way, but I’m smarter than you, when all of you claimed you want to use the stairs to protect Dave I suspected a foul pla-y, so immediately the elevator got to the next floor, we got out and entered the other one which I’m sure you hadn’t noticed, although using the lift bu-tton was also smart, I had to change the sign by the door to ‘exit’, it was actually this….” He brou-ght out a sign which was written ‘conference hall’. “The actual exit door was few doors away from this door” he added.

“You pla-yed us motherfu-cker” Michael screamed at him.

“Yes I pla-yed you, but it was for our own good, I wanted to know if you will be able to get us out of trouble when we get to the jungle and br@vo, you did..” He waved at us. “But you know what I loved the most, was that you worked as a team”

“Team” we all exclaimed.

“So that was what you wanted, a team?” Marichuiy fired at him.

“Yes, if we are a team, chances of surviving the jungle will be high, so I can’t let you guys go, also if I let you go, you will involve the police” he stated and chuckled. “Don’t worry nothing will swallow us over there thats if there are no dinosaur, just be expecting weird stuff, let’s go” he stated, he stood up, twirled around in what seem to be excitement, and then walked out.

“This guy is a clown” ru-by complained.

“An annoying clown” Michael added.

the guards grinned evily at us before asking us to move, I hate being ordered around.

The dark one wanted to push Kiwi but I sli-pped his hands off. “Don’t t©uçh her” I warned. Kiwi walked out voluntarily.

Michael took Kira and left, Bathny walked out with Henry as they argued over what I can’t really tell, ru-by sighed as he left too.

“Why are we always the last?” I heard Marichuiy asked me, that’s crazily true, why are we always the last. “I think that’s because you are the ‘Alpha’ and I’m the innocent girl you are helping” she added and we both laughed.

We finally got outside and realized the long night was coming to an end as the sun was trying to f0rç£ it’s way out from the east.

I saw An Helicopter packed by the far end of the building and Salvador was leading us to it.

“It’s gonna be a long day” I mumbled.

“Do you like her?” Marichuiy asked out of the blue.

“Who?” I asked back.

“Kiwi, she’s cute, you are always defending her and that smile on your face each time you stare at her, I’ve never seen it before” she said with a light smile.

I think I’ve actually smiled at her like that the first day we met and I like her too, well I don’t really know right now, it used to be only Kiwi that was fighting to steal my heart, now she has a competition.

I couldn’t reply her until we got to the helicopter and it took off with ear deafening sounds.

Mexican jungle here we come.
