“So I saw this guy in my dream and he told me to meet him here, that he can help me get free from this curse. That’s why I’m here……”
“How?” I asked her.
“I don’t know yet” she shrugged.
“So you just saw a guy in your dream and he said he can help you and then you walked out of your house to this place, isn’t that crazy?” I asked.
“I call it faith, I have faith” she replied, the barman gave her a glas-s of foamy punch mixed with a little quantity of beer. She took a sip and then looked towards the direction Bathny ran throu-gh.
“Why did she run?” She asked rhetorically.
“Cause she saw you” i replied anyway.
“Of course I scare everyone away, even my own best friend” she breathed out and sipped her drink.
I nee-ded to fix this hole between them. Bathny didn’t abandon her on purpose and she nee-ds to know that.
“She would have been sĀ£nt to England boarding school if she had disobeyed her parents and stayed friends with you, and she didn’t want to go to England, she was young then and probably couldn’t make her own choice, but if you give her another chance, she will make it up to you” I explained.
She turned to me in dismay. “Bathny?” She asked and I nodded. She faced her drink and pla-yed with the rim of the glas-s, she then sighed. “Why didn’t she tell me?”
“I was grounded for months during that period, our driver takes me to school and brings me back home, I wasn’t old enough to give orders, I could have told him to take me to your house, I’m sorry” we heard Bathny apologize, we both turned and saw her standing behind Marichuiy, she was twisting her nails, she looked up at marichuiy and made a puppy face, Marichuiy laughed and bent her head for a while.
“And now? Are you old enough to give orders?” She asked her.
“I think so, I mean I clocked 17 last month, And I’m in a club, I think I can pretty much do whatever I want now” she shrugged, Marichuiy and I laughed a little.
“It’s OK Bathny, I forgive you” she said and stood up as Bathny jumped on her for a hvg.
“Thank you so much bes” she screamed out loud while Marichuiy giggled, I smiled in contentment, happy that I have accomplished this.
“I’m happy for you both” I said to them.
They both turned to me and chorused. “Thanks Dave” i nodded at them.
They both sat down, Marichuiy ordered for a drink for Bathny.
“Nope, she has taken enough, no more” I argued.
“Dude you ain’t my dad” she fired at me.
“And there comes the real Bathny, welcome back w*tch” i retorted and they both laughed.
“Just give her a fruit jui-ce” I said to the barman and he did.
“Thanks a lot guardian Angel” she fired at me In sacarsm and rolled her eyes, Marichuiy and I laughed while she chuckled and shook her head.
“To a new us” Marichuiy made a toast and they cheered to that and giggled.
“You guys look good together…” I stated. “Maybe it’s time to stĀ©p taking orders from that bit-ch, Bathny don’t you think?” I asked Bathny.
“Oh, definitely, I’m done” she raised her hands up in surrender and we laughed.
“What bit-ch?” Marichiuy asked.
“Our nightmare from junior high” Bathny answered.
“Oh that, how did you guys even get to be friends?” Marichuiy asked.
“I can’t really tell, well when my parents asked me to stĀ©p seeing you, I bec@mĀ£ sad and withdrawn at school, so after gymnastics rehearsal I was alone at the court crying and missing you, I felt someone tĀ©uƧh me, I raised my head up only to see kira, I was about to leave knowing that every time she walks up to us, she will bully us, but that day seemed different. She just sat there with me and asked if I could be her friend, I just shrugged, and she said ‘great! Let’s go’ and that was it.” She explained. “You weren’t at the gym court that day, you were busy causing commotion at the hallway” she added and we laughed.
“Was it that same day her two minions were expelled from the school after hitting a girl with a bottle, meanwhile she was the one who asked them to do it?” Marichuiy asked.
“I remember that day, I also heard someone crashed the best food at the cafeteria” I added.
“OK, that one was me, I’m responsible for it” Marichuiy whispered but we heard her and laughed, she hit us at the back.
“I think it was the same day, school was crazy that day” Bathny replied.
“And it didn’t occur to you that she just wanted to gather more minions for herself” Marichuiy asked.
“Don’t blame me, you weren’t their to guide me” Bathny whined.
“And you weren’t at the cafeteria to direct me and stĀ©p me from causing trouble” Marichuiy whined as well.
“Let’s just say you both were at the wrong place and at the wrong time” I ch!pped in.
“Yea” they both chorused and laughed.
“It’s good to have you back bes” Bathny muttered and hvgged her.
“It’s so awesome, I missed you” Marichuiy replied. “Also, how come i haven’t broken anything toni…..” She didn’t finish before she crashed on the floor with a loud thud. “Damn it”
People who saw the crash laughed as they danced. Bathny and I really tried to surpres our laughter but it exploded instead.
“Ev*l people” she Fired at us.
“You shouldn’t have complained” Bathny said amidst laughter. Marichuiy shook her head at us and giggled.
“I h*te you two” she punched us lightly.
“Are you hurt” I finally asked in concern.
“No” she replied.
“Urrgh, this place is so stuffy” Bathny complained.
“And it’s choking me up” Marichuiy added. “Can we go outside for a while?” She asked.
“What about the guy you wanna meet?” I asked her.
“What guy?” Bathny asked.
“She said she saw a guy in her dream who offered to help her get free from the curse” I answered.
“That’s ridiculous” Bathny spat.
“Exactly what I said”
“And exactly how I’m feeling right now, I guess it was just my imagination pla-ying tricks on me, actually it was that weird man that gave my mum the book back then that I saw in my dream, he was the one who said I should come here and meet a certain man, he showed me the man in the dream but I don’t think the man I saw can be in a place like this, he looks like he’s in his early thirties, He’s slim and mexican” Marichuiy explained. “I guess I was just dreaming”
“But you were dreaming” Bathny states and I chuckled.
“I know, but, I mean maybe I was seeing things, so we are free to go wherever we want, I give up” she replied.
“Let’s just go and have some fresh air out side and probably take a stroll” Bathny suggested and we agreed.
“Oh my gosh it’s you, the cursed girl, what are you doing here” we heard Kiwi ask as she approached the bar.
“Hey girl, are you done throwing up?” Bathny asked her.
“I swear I’m never taking those things again” she breathed out and slumped on a chair.
“Even if Kira says otherwise?” Bathny asked again.
“fu-ck that sh*t, I’m done with her nons-en-se” Kiwi replied.
“Are you gonna say that to her face”
“I will try as much as I can, even if it takes all my strength” she stated.
Kira will probably be dancing happily in that crowd not knowing that her army has scattered, that’s the power of true friendsh!pbeing rekindled, thank God Marichuiy c@mĀ£ here tonight.
“Damn girl, you look cute tonight, I love the side slanting on your dress” Kiwi said to Marichuiy.
“What slant” we all asked cause I know there was no slant on her dress before, we looked at her and saw the slanting from her th!gh down to the rim of the dress, showing of her fresh yellow right th!gh. She g@sped and tried to cover up her th!gh, Bathny helped her, their friendsh!pis really cute.
“It must be from the broken chair” Bathny stated.
“Yea, maybe”I added.
“But it’s cute” Kiwi said. She must love fashion a lot.
“Let’s go outside plea-se” Marichuiy asked. I alre-ady forgot we were going outside before Kiwi c@mĀ£.
We all stood up.
“Let me hold you before you will crash into something else” Bathny offered and we laughed. This girl is kinda funny.
She held Marichuiy as we scaled throu-gh the crowd and finally got outside.
“Mmmhh, free at last” Kiwi stretched her hands and took in the fresh air that hit us.
Although there were people outside having drinks and pla-ying games but they were few. We walked a few meters away and sat on the floor near the road.
“We should have taken some drinks before coming out” Bathny complained.
“No one is going back there” Kiwi stated and we laughed.
“A car pu-ll-ed over in front of us, Henry c@mĀ£ out from the pas-sĀ£nger seat singing a love song.
“What the…” Bathny grumbled. “Where the hell are you coming from?” She Fired at him as he approached us.
“How’s that your concern?” He fired back.
“Why are you so happy?” Kiwi asked.
“Was that your Arabian bĀ©yfriĀ£nd?” I asked him.
“Hhmmh, oh he is so sweet” he hvgged himself dreamily, I chuckled, Kiwi laughed while Bathny grumbled.
“Grumble all you want, I’m not gonna re-lease him for you” Henry retorted at her.
“If only you knew” Kiwi mumbled and we both laughed, Henry didn’t un-derstand but Bathny did and it seems like Marichuiy did too cause she nudged Bathny with an amused smile.
“Hey guys, we’ve been looking for you..” We heard ru-by shout. He turned around and shouted to Michael and Kira. “Hey, they are over here” they turned and saw us and started walking towards us.
Marichuiy wanted to get up but I held her right hand down while Bathny held her left.
“Bathny what the hell, why didn’t you two tell me before leaving the club” Kira asked.
“bit-ch i owe you no explanation” Bathny fired, Kira and the boys g@sped in shock, the game has changed people.
Kira managed to swallow that up because she was high, she just shook her head at her.
“Oh my gosh, jinxed girl, what the hell are you doing here with my friends?” Kira asked Marichuiy and that was when the guys noticed the person sitting there was her.
“What the hell” Michael mumbled.
“Why do you look so good today?” ru-by asked.
Henry was about to talk when a white van pu-ll-ed over in front of us. Something was thrown at our feet. Before we could realize it was tearg@s, it has alre-ady spre-ad and affected us. My eyes bec@mĀ£ heavy and my feet melted un-der me, I slumped on the floor and blacked out.

“Dave wake up” I heard in my dreamland, but then I felt someone kick my leg. “David” I opened my eyes, I sprang up from the be-d I was lying on and realized we were in a big beautiful room probably on the last floor of a sky scra-pper cause looking throu-gh the window, other buildings looked really smaller.
“Kiwi wake up” Bathny nudged kiwi.
She sprang up. “What happened” she asked with her tiny voice.
“I think we’ve been kidnapped” ru-by stated.
“You think? We’ve been kidnapped, stĀ©p thinking” Michael fired at him.
“God plea-se I don’t wanna die, I just found the love of my life, i can’t die now” Henry cried
“Shut up” we fired at him.
Marichuiy stood on the be-d at the extreme, she stood like a S-xy mafian princess staring down at us.
“This is all your fault, we shouldn’t have talked to you now look where we are” Kira fired at her.
“Don’t blame this on her, who knows if your father has offended another politician” Bathny fired back and Kira g@sped. She hasn’t seen anything yet.
Marichuiy looked towards the door but it was locked, she sighed and then g@sped as she stared at a weird looking dark blue book and a box which sat on the makeup table. She walked to the table and wanted to tĀ©uƧh the book but Bathny rushed and stĀ©pped her.
“Oh my gosh don’t tĀ©uƧh it, have you forgotten what happened the last time you tĀ©uƧhed these things?” She asked her.
“My mum left with these things back then cause I couldn’t find it in my wardrobe after she left, and now the book is here” she said to Bathny.
“Does it mean, could it be that..”
“Your mum kidnapped us?” Kiwi finished my question although that was not how I was planning to ask it.
“Your miserable mother kidnapped us?” Kira asked.
“If you call my mum miserable again, bit-ch you gon get it from me right now” Marichuiy warned.
Kira looked into her eyes and spat out. “Your miserable mum” Marichuiy wanted to rush to her but the door cli-ck and pushed open, two bĀ©dyguards walked in followed by a mexican man who seems to be in his early thirties.
Marichuiy and I exchanged glances with Bathny.
She was right after all.
