“Hubby!” Came a piercing scream.
Lucas and Noella flinched and disengaged from each other.
Noella stood up from him and helped him up.
“Who had screamed that way?” Lucas asked inwardly.
He hadn’t looked at Ana’s way. Was it a dream, or it was real.
The only person who had been calling him that was Sunny’s mom.
Was she the one? Or it was someone else?
He was contemplating on his thought when he heard the voice again.
“Hubby, it’s me, your wife” Viviana said and Lucas heard a loud bang in his head.
Like a controlled robot, he turned only to see the one he despised most.
Viviana!
What was she doing here?
“Hubby, I missed you so much” Viviana said and made to hug him but his cold and scary voice stopped her.
“Don’t you dare come closer, Viviana” he gritted.
“Who the h*ll let you in? Buster! Buster!” Lucas yelled, all red with anger.
“Oh stop yelling? Am I not allowed to enter my husband’s house?” Aña rolled her eyes arrogantly and made herself comfortable on a couch.
Her eyes landed on Noella, who was staring at her like she’s grown two heads.
“And hey? Who’s this piece of trash?” She eyes Noella.
Noella’s eye wide-ned. How dare this mad woman underestimate her?
“You…”
“Noella, excuse us” Lucas cut her off before she could say a word.
Noella glanced at him and glared at Ana before excusing them.
“Who the h*ll does she think she is to insult me?” She mumbled to herself as she took the tray to the kitchen.
“What do you want here?” Lucas asked and tugged his hands in his pocket.
“Oh, me?…” Ana glanced around. “.. won’t you offer me anything, drink, coffee, wine…”
“Ana! What brou-ght you here?! If you have nothing to say, the door is widely opened” Lucas said and started walking to the exit.
“Sunny, where’s she?” Lucas clenched his jaw tightly as he heard Sunny’s name.
“Don’t ever let that name escape your filthy li-ps. Sunny is my daughter, stay away from her!” He yelled angrily and in a minute, he was gripping tight to her neck.
“Yo.. u’re.. choki..ng me..” Ana struggled to say, fighting to free herself from his grip.
“Ahh, I hate you, Viviana, I don’t want to see your face, f*cking go back to where you came from!!” Lucas yelled and released his grip.
Ana gagged and coughed, her eyes were bloodshot.
“Then sorry, you’re gonna see my face every day, get used to it” she said with a proud smirk.
“I hate you so much, get out of my house!” Lucas yelled.
“Don’t worry, I’m leaving already, but remember to keep an eye on Sunny” She winked and left.
“F*ck! Why did she come back?! I hate you, I hate you, hate you so much!!!” Lucas yelled as he smashed anything he laid his hands on.
Noella and some few maids came out of the kitchen, to see what was happening.
?Who was that lady?
?Heard she was his ex-wife.
?What was she doing here?
?His memories are back, I guess.
? She’s a she-devil.
Some maids whispered to themselves as they watched Lucas go upstairs.
Noella wanted to follow him but she didn’t want to do the same mistake like she did last time.
Sighing loudly, she went back into the kitchen to continue what she was doing.

“Lucas” Noella called, running after him.
“You should stop running, my baby is in there, you know” Lucas winked making her blus-h.
“How are you feeling now?” Noella asked when she finally got to him.
“I’m good, why do you ask?”
“Uhm.. nothing..” she but her li-ps.
“Where are you going?”
“Wow, I have a caring momma” Lucas gushed cutely.
“Oh stop it, I wanna follow you” Noella whined.
“Hm, okay, I’m going to pick Sunny, let’s go” Lucas said and held her hand.
Noella gazed at their intertwined hands and smiled. She feels secure and free around him.
“Sunny would be happy to see the both of us in her school” Lucas said and glanced at her.
“Yes, she’ll be so happy”

“Pearl, your prince charming is outside” Leslie said and Pearl rolled her eyes.
“I have no prince charming, stop it”
“Oh really, go check for yourself” Leslie said and Pearl went out of the kitchen.
She removed her apron and smiled when she saw Kingston sitting behind a table in his all gorgeousness.
“Hey” she called and sat down with him.
“Hi beautiful” Kingston took her hands and ki-ssed the back of her palm.
Pearl blus-hed ha-rd and bit her inner cheek.
“Did you come here or food, wine or…”
“No, I came to check up on you”
“Oh really, that’s nice of you” Pearl smiled.
Kingston found himself getting lost in her Bëãûty. The girl was so beautiful.
Pearl noticed the way Kingston was staring at her and she shifted uncomfortable on her seat.
“Any problem? Why are you looking at me like that?”
“You’re beautiful” Kingston blurted out without thinking.

“Hey Sunshine” Lucas called when he sighted Sunny, seated with her friend.
“Oh, that’s my daddy, come let’s go” Sunny smiled and pulled her friend along with her.
“Daddy!” She called happily and ran into his embrace.
“Hello Sir” Sunny’s friend greeted.
“Hey cutie, how’re you?” Lucas asked, stro-king the kid’s hair.
“I’m fine”
“Daddy, she’s my friend and her name is Jessie” Sunny said.
“Wow, what a nice name for a cute kid” Lucas complimented and Jessie smiled.
“Thank you, oh, my driver is here, bye Sunny, bye sir” Jessie said and ran to her drive.
“Guess who I came with?” Lucas co-cked a brow at Sunny.
“Nanny Ella?” The kid guessed.
“Wow, you’re so smart darling. Exactly”
“Really?! Where’s she?” Sunny giggled and got down from his arms.
“Calm down, she’s in the car”
“Yay! Let’s go!” Sunny pulled Lucas towards the awaiting car.

“Wow, someone talks alot” Lucas clic-ked his tongue.
Sunny and Noella shared a look then stared at Lucas.
They knew he was referring to Sunny since she’s the only one talking in the car, telling Noella about what happened in school.
“And someone is lazy” sunny also imitated her dad.
“Who are you referring to as lazy?” Lucas frowned and carried sunny on his laps.
“”You..” sunny giggled.
“Really”
“Yes”
“Hm, okay..” Lucas smirked and tickled Sunny, making her laugh out loud.
“So..rry..not..yo.u..dad..dy..is..not..LAZY…!” Sunny said in between laughter.
“Better, always remember that I love you” Lucas said and sunny pecked his li-ps.
“Awwn, it seems I’m forgotten” Noella gushed.
“Group hug?” Lucas said and engulfed the two into a tight hug.

DONOVAN MANSION**
“sleep tight, Sunny” Noella pecked Sunny’s forehead and exited the room.
She went downstairs and met Lucas at the mini bar, gulping a bottle of wine furiously.
She sighed and walked to him.
“Lucas” she tapped him and he gazed at her.
“Why are you sulking yourself to death?” She asked in concern.
Lucas sighed and faced her.
“She’s back, that tragedy is back. The memories which I was trying to hide is back. It is back” He cried.
It was obvious in his voice that, he was hurting within.
“Lucas, I know you’re a strong man, you can come over it. I’m here for you, Sunny is also here, and our baby is here. Stay strong for us all” Noella said and rubbed his cheeks.
Lucas’ eyes flic-ked to her small baby bump and a smile escaped his li-ps.
He stood up and wrapped his arms around her waist, staring de-ep in her eyes.
What was he feeling for this lady? He could feel his heart thumping inside his chest.
What was she doing to him?
“Ella..” he breath out and crushed his li-ps on hers.
Noella’s eyes wide-ned in shock. What was up with him?
He continued savouring her li-ps and as minutes pa-ssed, Noella could feel an adrenaline rush throu-ghher.
Slowly, she reciprocated the ki-ss , both lost in their fantasy.
After some minutes, Lucas broke the ki-ss and stared pa-ssionately in her eyes.
“F*ck! What are you doing to me,Elsa?” He breathed out.
Noella was confused. What was she doing to him?
Her eyes dilated in shock and her mouth went agape when she heard his next words.
“Be my woman…”
