PEARL AND NOELLA’S APARTMENT**
NOELLA’S ROOM**
Noella laid on her bed sobbing uncontrollably. She had the test report in her hands as she stared at it, which brou-ght tears in her eyes.
It was so ha-rd for her to accept the fact that she was pregnant. This whole thing looked like dream to her, an illusion but sadly, it was the fact.
She sighed and sat up on the bed, hugging her knees. Her plans was to get married before getting pregnant and together with her husband, they’ll celebrate.
But all those plans of hers was now impossible since she’s pregnant out of ra-pe.
This was the worst thing that had happened to her.
She fondled the paper in her hands and laid on the bed till sleep overtook her.
**
NEXT MORNING**
Pearl sat on a chair beside Noella’s bed, staring at her sleeping pale face. She sighed and stood up to open the curtains.
Opening the curtains, the sharp ray of the sunlight shone brightly in the room.
“It’s a beautiful day” Pearl smiled and turned to look at Noel when she heard her yawn loudly.
“Good morning” pearl greeted making Noel snap her head towards her(Pearl).
She(Noella) pursed her li-ps and sat up on the bed. “Hey…”
Pearl smiled and sat beside her on the bed. “How are you feeling this morning?” She asked and gave the mug of coffee which was on the table to Noella.
“Thank you” Noella muttered and took the mug, taking a sip from it.
“Uh,, I’m feeling better, thanks for asking” She smiled.
“It’s alright,I have to go and prepare something for you” Pearl said, standing on her feet.
“Pearl…” Noella called making Pearl stop on her track.
“Yes?”
“Uhm, actually, I’m sorry for how I spoke to you yesterday, I’m sorry” Noella said sincerely.
Pearl sighed and sat down. “That’s not my problem, but about the baby, are you still going to get rid of it?” She asked.
Noella dropped the coffee and pushed her hair back. “Hm, I still stand on my decision, I’m going to get rid of it before Lucas gets to know about it” She said and Pearl huffed.
“Noella?! Don’t you think you’re depriving Lucas his right of deciding for his child? He has right over the child so it’s not adviceable to do that, and he can sue you for that” Pearl said.
“I don’t care! He can do anything for all I care, after all, he ra-ped me!” Noella snapped with a frown on her face.
“I thought you already forgave him?”
“Whatever, but I ain’t changing my mind” Noella said stubbornly.
“Okay, but don’t do something you’ll regret later. Anyways, come down for breakfast, don’t starve the angel” Pearl winked and Noella rolled her eyes.
“It’s gonna die soon, there’s no point in feeding it” she mumbled and climbed down from the bed, heading to the bathroom.

INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT**
A young lady and a young man came down from the private jet as they catwalked to their waiting car.
“Hmm, I love the breeze of LA” Àñà smiled as she rolled her suitcase to the car.
“Yh, I really miss LA. Alexander is back for good” the man she was walking with, said with a sinister smile.
Ana and Xander shared a look and giggled as they settled in the car for the driver to drive off.

Ana and Xander’s car halted inside the big mansion in the estate.
They got down from the car and smiled satisfactorily.
“This mansion is f*cking cool” Ana gigled as she opened her arms widely, with her eyes closed.
Xander smiled and wrapped his arms around her wa-istfrom behind. “I’m sure we’ll have a great time here, and also, don’t forget our plans” he said against her neck.
Ana turned to faced him in his hands and wrapped her arms around his neck.
“Yep, I’ll cook up some lies and go back into his life. And the Lucas I’ve always known was soft hearted” she mumbled and pecked his li-ps.
“Mm, and you think he’ll still be the Lucas you knew?” Xander rose a brow.
“Ion know, but I’m sure he’s still grieving over me” Ana said with a proud smirk.
“You sure?”
“Yep, but for now, let’s enjoy” Ana giggled as they went into the building.
**
PEARL AND NOELLA’S APARTMENT**
NOELLA’S ROOM**
Pearl sneaked into Noella’s room when she was sure that Noella was in the bathroom.
She needed to act fast before Noella does something stupid. She silently searched around the room till she found Noella’s cellphone.
“Good” she muttered and unlocked the phone, scrolling throu-ghher contacts.
Pearl’s beamed when she saw Lucas’ number and immediately, she copied it on the piece of paper she had brou-ght along.
When she was done, she tilted her head to hear if Noella was coming out of the bathroom and when she was sure that Noella wasn’t coming, she dropped the cellphone and sneakily walked out of the room.
“Phew! That was so close” Pearl heaved when she was successfully out of the room.

PEARL’S ROOM**
Pearl immediately dialed Lucas’ number on her phone and put a call throu-ghhim but no one answered.
She tried some few times but no one picked up.
“Maybe he’s busy” she concluded and walked out of the room.

“I’m off, Pearl!” Noella said to Pearl who was cleaning the living room.
Pearl glanced at her and raised a brow. “Where to? I thought you were supposed to pack to Lucas’ mansion” she asked, getting suspicious.
Noella cleared her throat and scratched the back of her neck nervously. “Uhm, I’m… I’m going to the hospital” she said and bit her li-ps.
“Hospital?! You aren’t changing your mind, are you?” Pearl eyed her.
“No, I’m not, bye” Noella answered unconcerned and walked out.
Pearl sighed and dropped the cleaning tools, picked her phone and sneakily trailed behind her.

“Please follow that car” Pearl said to the cab driver.
The driver nodded and trailed behind the cab Noella had boarded.
Pearl inhaled and brou-ght out her phone to call Lucas. It rang and he picked at the last ring.
?Hello, I’m Gina,Mr. Donovan’s secretary…
?Please, quickly give the phone to Lucas, it’s urgent?” Pearl said hastily.
?Uhm, please, who is this?” Gina asked.
?Give the phone to Lucas, tell him it’s Noella?” Pearl said.
Gina sighed and minutes later, Lucas’ voice was heard on the background.
“I’ve asked you not to answer my calls when I haven’t asked you to do so!” Came Lucas’ scolding voice.
“I’m sorry…
?Lucas! Noella, she wants to ab-ort your baby!” Pearl yelled into the phone which caught Lucas’ attention.
He waved Gina off and returned to the call.
?What did you say? Baby?” He asked confusedly.
?Yes, baby, quick come to LA CITY HOSPITAL, she’s going to terminate your baby” Pearl said and though Lucas was still confused, he rushed out of the office and slid into his car before driving off in a full speed.

“Thanks” Pearl said to the driver and got down from the cab.
She rushed into the hospital, taking the path Noella had taken, holding her dress tightly.
This friend of hers was so adamant.
She gazed at the door at intervals, expecting Lucas’ arrival.
**
WARD**
Noella had already talked everything out with the doctor and they were ready to start the process.
She held the hem of her dress tightly, breathing heavily. She was so nervous and her palm was beginning to get sweaty.
Was she really willing to kill her first child? What would Lucas do when he finds out that she had terminated his baby?
She was beginning to have a second thought on it. What if she dies in the process?
“Doctor..” Noella called the doctor who was preparing the tools.
“Uh, can I..I..” She bit her li-ps.
“Miss, are you sure you wanna do this?” The doctor asked to confirm once more.
“Yes, but, can I use the restroom for a minute?” Noella muttered.
“Oh, yes you can, it’s the last door on the right, following this path” the doctor directed and Noella smiled and walked out.

“Gosh, Lucas, what took you so long?” Pearl muttered and rushed towards Lucas.
“What do you mean by terminating my baby? Which baby?” Lucas furrowed his brow.
Pearl gulped down and started talking. “Noella is pregnant and she wants to get rid of the baby” she said and Lucas’ mouth fell.
“Pregnant? You mean, she’s carrying my baby?” He asked when he came back to himself.
“Yes, and you must do something, she’s currently in the ward, hurry…”
Pearl did not get to finish her words when Lucas stomped away.
He started opening the ward doors one by one.
Lucas pushed his hair backwards as he had searched about ten wards but didn’t find Noel.
He bowed his head sadly, thinking of the worst, when suddenly he bumped into someone and the person lost her balance.
“Ahh..” Came a wince and he stared at the person only to find who he’s been looking for.
Noella!
Noella’s eyes wide-ned when she saw Lucas staring straight into her eyes.
Was he indeed here or she was imagining things?
