“Sir Lucas” she dropped the bombshell and Pearl’s mouth went agape.
“What?!” Pearl exclaimed and sprang up on the couch.
Noella set her li-ps in a thin line and curled up her toes,,waiting for Pearl’s next move.
She knew that Pearl was more crazier than her and would surely do something crazy.
“Your boss ra-ped you?! And he still had the guts to pretend when I had asked him?” Pearl asked in full range.
That bossy man would surely hear from her. She thought,,balling her fist.
“Pearl..”
“Don’t call me! I’m your friend, Noella,,but you hid this from me! You hid it from me and chose to ran away! That’s absurd!” Pearl mumbled,feeling hurt.
Her own best friend who was like a sister to her,,chose to hide something as big as this from her?!
“I’m sorry,Pearl..”
“Don’t sorry me! I’m going to teach that boss of yours a lesson!” Pearl cut in angrily and headed to the door.
“No, Pearl,,don’t go, please,,I’ll explain everything to you, please don’t do anything stupid” Noella pleaded,,holding the fuming Pearl from moving further.
“Let go of me, Noella! He ra-ped you! He took your dignity, Noella! Let me go deal with him the bitter way!” Pearl said with a de-ep frown on her face.
“I understand him,,he has his reasons,,please stop it. I don’t wanna loose my job” Noella pleaded,,with tears glistening in her eyes.
Pearl looked at Noel and reluctantly,, she followed Noella to the couch and there,,she(Noella) explained everything to her(Pearl).

“Oh my gosh! He went throu-gha lot” Pearl said sadly after listening to Noella.
“Yes,,that’s why I’m pleading with you not to do anything stupid,, please,,at least for me” Noella batted her eye lids.
Pearl sighed and hug-ged Noella tightly. “But he hurt you”
“Yh, I know, but at least, it wasn’t his fault” Noella muttered and broke the hug.
“Okay,,for your sake, I will reconsider my actions. But that doesn’t mean, I’ve forgiven him” Pearl frowned and Noella stifled a laugh.
“Thanks, Bestie”
“Hm,, you’re welcome to my humble abode. What would you like to eat?” Pearl grinned widely and stood up,,bowing playfully at Noel.
Noella rolled her eyes and laid on the couch,, trying to catch some sleep.
“Hey, lazy a-ss,,get up and have something to eat!” Pearl yelled and pulled Noella into the kitchen.

FAST FORWARD,, TWO WEEKS LATER***
DONOVAN MANSION**
Noella came out of Sunny’s room after putting her to bed. She had resume working in the mansion for the past two weeks.
Sunny couldn’t be less happy when her nanny had resumed working. She never let her nanny out of her sight,,except when she’s gone to school.
Lucas was also the happiest man on earth,,knowing that the girl he had hurt so much, had forgiven him and was living with him as though nothing had happened.
“Ahh..” Noella squealed when she bumped into someone, making her loss her balance.
She closed her eyes tightly expecting to fall but she felt nothing.
Slowly,,she opened her eyes only to stare back in a sparkling green eyes.
Lucas had his li-ps slightly parted open as he stared at the petite Lady in his arms.
Noella was driving him crazy, her slender body and everything about her, drives him nuts.
They stared at each other for a long time, getting lost in each other’s eyes.
They almost forgot that they were two different persons. An employer and an employee.
Noella blinked her eyes, rapidly, coming out of her reverie. She cleared her throat and Lucas also came out of his thought.
He gently made her stand on her feet and adjusted his pyjamas well.
“Where are you going, Noella?” Lucas asked in his husky de-ep voice.
Noella shuddered slightly and tugged a strand of her hair behind her ear.
“Uh,,I’m..I’m..going home,,yes yes, I’m going home” she stuttered nervously.
Lucas creased a brow at her,,piercing his eyes into her soul.
“It’s late,,why don’t you stay, then go tomorrow” he suggested.
“But,,I have to let Pearl know about this,,but..,” she paused and bit her li-ps.
“But?”
“I don’t have a cell phone,, actually, after the night incident,, I di..”
“Let’s go” Lucas held her hands, pulling her towards his room, before she could finish her statement.
Noella felt cold wind sweep throu-ghher soul. Where was he taking her to?
Lucas got to his door and opened it, leading her in.
“Sit” he told her and he went to his bedside drawer.
Noella sat on the bed with her heart racing fast-er. Her mind wasn’t at rest,,thinking what happened two weeks ago might happen again.
“Relax,,I won’t touch you,,I’m just giving you something” Lucas said, when he saw how Noel was breathing.
He went closer to her but she shifted back,,still scared within. She couldn’t help but feel scared.
“Humph! I ain’t going to harm you,,just feel free, Ella. Or, haven’t you forgiven me like you said?” Lucas asked sadly.
He felt sad that she was still feeling unsecured around him.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know why I moved back,,sorry” Noella said, fiddling with her fingers.
“Never mind,, here, have it” he said, extending a wrapped box towards her.
Noella stared at it before looking back at Lucas, with a raised brow.
“What’s that?” She asked.
“Just have it” Lucas rolled his eyes and shoved the box in her hands.
Noella pursed her li-ps and unsurely, unwrapped the box. She beamed as she saw the content in the box.
“A phone?!” She gasped.
Lucas leaned on the wall,, staring at the petite childish woman sitting on his bed.
She looked so cute, especially the smile on her li-ps.
“Thank you, Lucas” Noella smiled and walked towards him.
Lucas smiled and nodded his head. He was glad that at least, she was getting warm with him.
“What are you gonna give to me in return?” He raised a brow at her.
Noella pouted her li-ps and shrugged her shoulders.
“What could I possibly give you?” She asked, rhetorically with her finger on her chin.
Lucas released a smirk and stroked his chin as well.
“A hug?” He tilted his head.
Noella gave him a knowing look but shrugged.
“A hug then” she smiled and Lucas pulled her in for a hug.
He released a satisfied sigh as he felt her body coming in contact with his,,giving him the warmth he needs.
He hug-ged her tightly, refusing to let her go.
“Uh, Lucas,,ain’t you gonna let me go?” Noella muttered.
“No,,I need your warmth, so I can sleep well,” he mumbled.
Noella sighed and patted his back. “Are you having Nightmares?” She asked.
Lucas pulled away and stared at her. “Kinda”
“Uh,,”
“Can I?” Lucas muttered, with his gaze on her li-ps.
“Huh?” Noella’s brow furrowed.
“I’m sorry, but your li-ps seem tempting” Lucas said with a dirty smile.
Noella bit her lower li-p, feeling too gobsmacked to talk. She could feel Lucas’ gaze on her li-ps which made her kinda feel embarra-ssed.
“Lucas..?” She called.
“Huh?” He said, still not diverting his gaze from her li-ps.
“Lucas,,let me go” she said but Lucas wasn’t hearing it.
His gaze was solely on her pink plump li-ps. He wanted to have a taste of it once more.
He wanted to feel her soft li-ps against his,,ki-ssing her in a slow rhythm.
Slowly, he leaned towards her and in a second, his li-ps collided with hers,,savouring it hungrily.
Her cold and frosty li-ps rocked on his, almost making him nut. Lucas’ grip on Noella tightened as he pulled her impossibly closer to himself.
Noella shut her eyes, as Lucas’ minty taste, filled her mind. Of late, he has been ki-ssing her whenever he deems fit.
He ki-sses her in the living room, in Sunny’s room…anywhere,, claiming that her li-ps are so tempting.
He was making her feel something she had never felt before. Her heart always skips a beat, at the sight of him.
He had warmed up to her, more than she had expected. Was this her once, cold, rude, arrogant and grumpy boss?
“Mm..” Noella mo-an-ed, as Lucas still had his li-ps on hers. This was the only ki-ss which had lasted long.
Or perhaps,, was his urge back? Oh gosh!
By mere thinking of that,,she could feel her heart beat, increase.
Was he going to have his way on her like the other time?
Finally, Lucas broke the ki-ss and she inhaled and exhaled de-eply.
“Noella…” Lucas called in a husky voice making her heart race.
“Lucas,, is your urge surfacing?” She asked,,feeling scared already.
Lucas breath out rou-ghly and took his li-ps in, with his arms still around her.
“Yes..”
“Yes?” Noella repeated,,breathing throu-ghher mouth.
