Episode 68
Olivia’s POV
The doctor said I will be discharged in a week’s time, I wonder why they can’t discharge me now. I’m tired of staying in this hospital.
“Olivia, how are you feeling?” Nelson said taking a seat beside me
“I think I’m fine”
“You think?”
“I want to go home” I said pouting my li-ps
“Errm…. I think staying in the hospital will be better. The doctor said you need to rest and the hospital is just the perfect place” he said nervously
“Why do I smell something fishy? Anyway, I want to go home, please……”
“No Olivia. Just endure for a week and everything will be over. I will be right back”
I know he probably has nothing to do, he just wants to avoid the discussion. I wonder what he’s up to but at least I know he won’t harm me.
Bella’s POV
I looked at everywhere except Jimin’s face. I’m so confused right now, what am I supposed to say?
I can’t say yes because he will think I’m cheap and I also can’t say no so he won’t think I’m proud.
“How can you possibly ask me to be your girlfriend when we’re just meeting for the first time?”
“Do you believe in love at first sight?”
“Y.. yes”
“Then you should know it’s possible for me to have fallen in love with you.
I planned to take things slow but I decided against it. I don’t want anyone to take you from me so I just decided to confess my feelings to you.
I can give you time to think if that’s what you want”
“Alright. I think we should go home now”
“Okay, if that’s what you want”
He took me home before going to wherever he wants to.
After he left, I searched for Olivia’s birthday online. I think her birthday is around the corner.
Thankfully, I saw the date because she’s now a celebrity. Wow! Her birthday is coming up on Saturday.
I have to get something for her but I don’t know what to give to her.
I would have given her a car but she has a boyfriend that is more than capable of that. I guess I will just search for something online.
I’ve concluded on my answer to Jimin’s question.
I’m going to say “yes” to being his girlfriend because I know I love him. This is going to be the first time I will be in a real relationship, I hope it ends well.
Nelson’s POV
When I couldn’t ba-re to listen to Stephanie’s shout and cry, I told the guys to stop.
“First thing tomorrow morning, hand her over to the police. un-derstood?”
“Yes sir”
“Nelson please, don’t hand me over to the police. I can be your maid for the rest of my life, just please not the police.
Mr. Park is going to kill me” Stephanie said weakly.
“If you call my name one more time, I’m going to ask the boys to continue with the torture till tomorrow when they will release you to the police” I said coldly and walked out.
I know she won’t dare call my name because she knows I will do it.
I brou-ght out my phone and called someone.
“How is the preparation so far?”
“We’re trying our best sir Nelson”
“Good. Make sure it’s spectacular, I wouldn’t want any mistakes”
“No problem sir”
Preparation for Olivia’s birthday has not been easy, I just hope I’m able to finish before the end of this week.
I’m going to give her a big surprise!
She’s getting suspicious already. Let me just go to the hospital and play with her for about two hours so she won’t feel lonely.
Park Min Shin’s POV
Olivia’s birthday is coming soon and it looks like everyone has forgotten about it. I should use this opportunity to win Olivia over.
I placed a call to the best event planner in Egypt.
“I need you to make a surprise birthday party for me. Hope you’re not to busy?”
“When is that going to be ma’am?”
“This week. Just before this week runs out”
“We’re sorry ma’am, we won’t be able to take the job. Our schedule for this week is really ti-ght”
“Ohh…. Alright then, thanks” I said and disconnected the call.
What do I do now? Yeah! I know what to do. I called someone else almost immediately.
“Chaewon, do you have any work to do this week?”
“No. Why did you ask?”
“I need you to help me with something here in England. The private jet will come to pick you up soon and make sure you come with enough workers.”
“Ohh…. Alright”
Thank goodness! That’s actually the event planner that works for us in Korea. I have to surprise my baby girl when she finally gets discharged.
Katherine Logan’s POV
Olivia’s birthday is around the corner. I don’t know how I’m going to surprise her.
Should I plan a surprise party for her or should I just get her a very special gift? I’m so confused.
“Honey, do you think we should throw a surprise party for Olivia?” I asked Ethan
“I think that’s totally cool. She will be really happy and it’s just the best way to spend time since she has been confined to the hospital walls for long.”
“Okay, thanks”
I quickly called one of my friends that is an event planner and informed her.
“Please you have to speed things up. The birthday is coming up on Saturday” I said to her
“Sure”
Can’t wait for Saturday. I’m sure Olivia will choose to stay with us if she sees how much we love her.
Chang Min’s POV
Olivia’s birthday will be on Saturday. I can never forget that date, not in this life and not in the next life.
I should probably get something for her. It’s just that I don’t like the way she’s treating us especially me. If only she knew how much I missed her.
I wore my clothes and went to the mall to get something for my sister.
I was still buying the things when a girl bumped into me. Wow! She’s really beautiful.
Not like I haven’t seen beautiful girls before but this is the first time I will be admitting that a girl is beautiful.
“I’m really sorry. I wasn’t looking…….” she paused when her eyes met mine. I was putting on a dark shade so I wasn’t expecting anyone to recognize me.
It was until she gasped that I realized she must have recognized me. I quickly placed my hand on her li-ps and led her to a quiet place before taking of my finger.
“You’re Park Chang Min, right?” she said waiting for a positive reply. Gosh! I’ve heard of fans like this but I’ve never met one. How was she able to recognize me with all these disguises?
“Yes I am” I said taking of the shades
“Wow! Please sign an autograph for me” she said taking off her shoes
“And on my clothes too. Finally in my book” she concluded
“Can we take a picture?” she asked when I was done
“N…n” I was still stuttering but she took the picture
“Why did you ask when you knew you weren’t going to wait for me to permit you?”
“I’m sorry. It’s just that I’m really glad to have met my idol and big time crush” she said blus-hing hard
“What’s your name?”
“My name is…. Ahh!! My Aunt’s going to kill me, I have to go”
“Have my complimentary card” I gave it to her before she ran off.
I haven’t even bought the things I want to give to Olivia. Let me continue with my shopping.

*Saturday morning* (Olivia’s birthday)
Park Min Shin’s POV
Today is Olivia’s birthday and also the day she will be discharged, I’m so nervous. I just hope things go according to plan.
“How are you feeling Olivia?” I said to her when she came to the reception
“I’m fine now, thanks” she answered politely
“Errm…… I would want everyone of us to go somewhere first before heading home” I said clasping my sweaty palms together.
“And where would that be?” Nelson asked a bit rudely
“I a-ssure you guys are going to love it when you see it”
“We don’t want to see it. Besides, I’m taking Olivia out so you can come with us if you want to” Nelson replied
“I promise it won’t take time, you can take Olivia to wherever you want after that” I pleaded
“No. Let’s go Olivia” Nelson said and took her away
I just hope he doesn’t ruin my plans.
Katherine’s POV
I wonder what Nelson is up to, I just hope he isn’t planning any surprise party for Olivia.
Besides that, where is Min Shin taking Olivia to? Something definitely seems fishy.
“Nelson, I want to take Olivia to somewhere please… she won’t even spend thirty minutes there”
“If I may ask, where do you want to take her to?”
“It’s a secret”
“Ohhhh…… Okay then. You can take her out when I’m done. For now, we have somewhere to be. Excuse me” and with that he got into the car with Olivia.
The rest of us had no choice but to follow them.
Nelson’s POV
Phew! Thank goodness I was able to take Olivia from those people. I drove straight to the mall to get Olivia dressed.
When she was done, I asked my guards to surround her in order to prevent her parents from seeing her dressed.
We got to the car and went straight to the venue of the event.
When we got there, the guards opened the car and Olivia stepped down from the car in her beautiful gown with her flawless face and heels.
I can’t believe this beautiful damsel is my girlfriend. I didn’t invite paparazzi because I know Olivia won’t like it.
I stretched out my hand to Olivia and she took it while I led her to the hall.
Wow! The place is even more beautiful than I expected. I never came here until today. Truly, she’s the best event planner in England.
“Uhhm…. I’m lost Nelson. Why are we here and why am I wearing this dress?” Olivia asked confused. I almost forgot this is a surprise birthday party.
“You will find out soon.” I said giving her my best smile.
I led her to the special seat designed for her.
“I want to make use of the restroom, I will be back” I lied to her
“Nelson, what are we doing here?” Olivia’s biological Mom (Park Min Shin)confronted me when I got outside.
“You will find out soon ma’am” I said and walked away
“Ladies and gentlemen, we are all gathered here today to celebrate a prominent person in out midst.
Not only is she plus one today, she fought for her life and eventually won.
I present to you our one and only Olivia Logan, the only non indigene of Korea that went to Korea and defeated over seven hundred contestants” the MC shouted over the speakers
I watched Olivia from where I stood and she looked completely lost. I would have gone to meet her but I still have something to do.
Olivia stood up and for-ced a smile on her face the confusion.
“You can have your seat now” the MC said again
“Let’s listen to cool music for the mean time. You are all free to dance on the stage” he concluded and left there.
Almost everyone got on stage and started dancing except Olivia and few people.
When I noticed people were engrossed in the dance, I signalled the workers to make the light really dim.
Some people panicked while some continued dancing. The music was changed into a solemn love song immediately.
At the end of the music, I went on stage with the lights still dim.
“There’s only one person on this planet that has captured my heart and I don’t think she’s ready to release it now. There are many ways to be happy in this life but all I really need is you.
You deserve the very best, someone who will love you without limits, who will let you grow without borders and love you without end. I want to be that person if you will allow me.
Olivia Logan, will you marry me?” I asked the question I’ve been dying to ask
Olivia’s POV
What is Nelson doing? How can he ask me to marry him when I still have a lots of things to accomplish before thinking about marriage?
What do I do now? Everyone is definitely waiting for my answer.
“I’m still waiting Olivia” he said and this time, the lights were bright
“I will marry you” I replied and went to meet him
“Thank you” he said and kis-sed me pa-ssionately
After we got down from stage, my two Moms came to meet me.
“Olivia I’m really happy for you but I also have something to show you” my foster Mom spoke up first
“Me too” my biological Mom also said
I stared confusedly at both of them. Who am I supposed to go with now?
“Olivia, who do you want to go with first? Nelson asked calmly
“I don’t think I want to go with anyone. If they’re headed to the same place, then I will go with both of them.”
“You’ve heard her. We will like to continue with our party” and with that Nelson took me to cut the cake.
