NARRATOR’S POV
A week later ojochenemi was fully back on her back…. her injections were over and she could do everything on her own without the help of anybody.
since she already knows the kind of person Oscar is she didn’t put her mind into the one week attention he gave her…. she knew he was just being nice because she was nice to him when he was sick too.
but how can one know another person so well? immediately she got better Oscar went back to been the je-rk he used to.
He stopped talking to her but didn’t give her much trouble like he used to.
tony on the other hand was waiting for the right time to tell chenemi how he feels about her.
OSCAR POV
I clsoed from work this Friday evening and I saw a very beautiful lady standing at the road side…. from the look of things she was stranded so as I gentleman I drove back to ask her what was wrong.
OSCAR
good evening beautiful
I said and she said shly I smiled back because I knew she was already feeling the sweet Bobo parked in front of her.
GIRL
good evening sir
OSCAR
just call me Oscar….. what’s your beautiful name?
GIRL
my name is Bella
OSCAR
bella…. I knew it… the moment I set my eyes on you I already knew your name would start from B which stands for “beauty”
I fli-rted more with her and she started to laugh
BELLA
you are so funny sir.
OSCAR
common stop calling me sir….. if you must call me anything call me “baby or sweetheart”
BELLA
alright…
OSCAR
where are you headed?
BELLA
I’m going to see a friend down the road, I ordered for bolt but it hasn’t arrived yet.
OSCAR
what do you mean? I’m already here my queen…. hoop in
BELLA
really?
(she blus-hed)
I came down from the car and opened the door for her to enter…. she thanked me.
OSCAR
So where I’m I taking you to?
BELLA
so where are you taking me?
OSCAR
if you don’t mind maybe hang out a little then go to my house to have some fun… but that is if you don’t mind.
She was about to say something when her phone started to ring… she looked at me and said
BELLA
my bolt just arrived
OSCAR
you should cancel the ride then.
She nodded her head and dropped the call, she immediately went to their app and cancelled the ride….. immediately the bolt driver stopped calling her.
I drove her to a fancy boutique and got her plenty of clothes, shoes and bag…. she was just smiling like someone who has just hit a jackpot.
after buying her so many stuffs I took her to a fancy Chinese restaurant where we ate before I took her to my house.
I arrived home and helped her to take few of her bags…. she took the rest herself and followed me inside.
BELLA
Lovely place you have here.
OSCAR
thanks love… please have a seat
BELLA
thanks
(she said and sat down)
from the way she was looking around I knew she felt very happy she met me…. who would come to see a young man living in a mansion and not want to keep that man?
I asked her what I would offer her and she told me she want whiskey.
I went to my wine bar and got her a bottle of whiskey and a glas-s cu-p.
She started to serve herself the wine while I sat down beside her admiring the big as-s she has.
ojochenemi came downstairs and saw us, I expected to throw a fist just like she did with Amanda but she was cool and quiet.
OJOCHENEMI
oh you are back…. welcome
OSCAR
yeah, yeah
(I said still looking at Bella’s as-s)
Bella became very uncomfortable immediately she saw chenemi but I told her not to worry….
OSCAR
she’s just someone who is staying in my house…. she’s not my wife or anything…. you can ask her if you want.
BELLA
are you sure?
OSCAR
of course baby
(I said ki-ssing her ne-ck)
Ojochenemi walked into the kitchen and took a bottle of water…. on her way back to her room her phone started to ring and she answered it.
I didn’t know who she was speaking to but I heard her own side of the conversation
OJOCHENEMI
You called at the right time….. that date you were offering me yesterday that I decline is it still available?
I opened my ear very well hoping I would hear what the caller was saying but I heard nothing….. except for her reply
OJOCHENEMI
really? you are closer to where I live?
(she laughs)
don’t worry I’m going to dress very nice…. see you in a bit.
she said and hung up then started to rush upstairs.
where the hell is this native girl going to and who is that man that is asking her out on a date?
well I will sit here and wait till I see that man who wants to take a local girl like her out on a date.
I comfortablely sat down and was sipping from Bella’s cu-p while I wait for the dumb man that wants to go on a date with chenemi.
I haven’t seem tony ever since we had that little argument… maybe his avoiding me intentionally I don’t know… but he doesn’t even answer my calls even if I call him…. what if his the person coming to take chenemi out? well I just have to wait and see.
after half an hour later I heard a loud horn at the gate….I called Ali and asked him go let the person drive in…. he told me he had never seem the man before.
i told him to let him drive in….. I ended my call, not long I saw the car drove jto my compound… I was shocked because that car is a Lamborghini…. it’s not as if I can’t afford that kind of a car…. of course I can…..but I don’t like showing off that I have that kind of money.
seeing his car made me curious and I so badly wanted to know who was in the car.
OSCAR
excuse me please
I told Bella and went outside see chenemi’s date…. I was shocked when I saw the young man…. his senator jide’s son…. the dude is always on the news for his benevolent attitude towards the people of Nigerian.
i have had the opportunity to meet with him once or twice during my tour in London and Germany.
He stare at me like someone who is trying to place where he has seen me before…. I was too shock to even help him out by telling him where we have met before.
all that I could mutter out of my mouth is
OSCAR
you are the one who is taking chenemi out on a date?
KUNLE
yes I am…. and you are……
I swallowed ha-rd but the saliva immediately choked my throat when chenemi walked out that door looking very elegant and beautiful…. when she walked pas-sed me to briefly give kunle a hu-g her smell was breathe taking…. she smelled like a fresh flowers.

I never in my wildest dreams thought chenemi was this curvy and beautiful.

KUNLE

He opened the car door for her and she entered, he locked it and went over to enter his car too.
They total ignored me like I did exist….. what an insult…. nobody should say I’m jealous because I wasn’t I was just angry that chenemi didn’t even border to introduce kunle to me.
I angrily went back inside to meet Bella, immediately I stepped inside she visited me with an annoying question.
BELLA
who is that queen that just stepped outside? and damn who was that guy that left with her in a labo?
OSCAR
what do you mean by “who is that queen”? are you blind of something? that’s the same girl you met earlier.
BELLA
(She looked shocked)
that girl is a full as-sert ooh….. who did you say she is again?
her questions was pissing me off, I picked my car keys and excused myself.
I went to my room to take my bath, I was still in the shower when Bella came in go join me nak-ed.
Immediately I saw her s-×y and curvy body my anger all vanished…I mean who would see a beautiful lady and still be angry?
BELLA

OSCAR
I’m no longer angry
I said enjoying what her soft hand was doing to my body….. before I knew it she has already gone down on her knees and held my already erected di-ck in her hands…. she played with it for a while before putting it into her mouth.
The plea-sure was good, I would rate her 7 out of 10…. I grabbed her hair when the sweetness got into me…. suddenly chenemi crossed my mind and I thought of what kunle might do with her after their so called date

“what if kunle ra-pes her? what will you do”?
“wait, having se-x on the first date doesn’t necessarily mean the lady is cheap you lnow… what if they decided to make love after the date? i mean look how s-×y chenemi looked and kunle on the other hand is a very handsome and rich guy”?
different thought were just filling my head that I didn’t even know that my erection had gone down and Bella was staring at me.
OSCAR

BELLA
your joy stick suddenly died…. something on your mind?
OSCAR

BELLA
(She smiled)
looking at how lost you are….i can only think of one thing

BELLA
you are thinking of another woman…. that girl you like her don’t you?
Her question shocked me but why? on a normal day I would defend myself and say I don’t have feelings for that local girl… but today why ain’t I don’t that? why I’m I no telling Bella she’s wrong?
I left the shower and went back into my room, I pulled a towel and tied it around my wai-st…. soon she came outside nak-ed too.
BELLA
if I said anything to….
OSCAR
it’s not you bella…. please I will like to be alone.
I opened my drawer and brou-ght out a bundle of cash and handed it over to her.
She had this puzzle look on her face
OSCAR
this is for wasting your time.
BELLA
(she collected the money and smiled)
honestly I should be very angry with you for wasting my time…. but I won’t because I un-derstand why you suddenly turn into a vegetable…..
OSCAR
I think you should get dress and leave.
BELLA
I’m going to leave your house…. but a little advise…. if you love her you had better say something before that man or someone else takes you away from you.
OSCAR
enough…. stop saying ru-bbish….that girl is just someone who is staying here at my place…i have nothing to do with her.
BELLA
yes…. because you are still in denier…. I’m off…..
She said and walked away, I guess she offed her clothes in the living room.
I went back into the shower to complete my bath…..was Bella right or she’s just talking nonsense?
OJOCHENEMI POV
This days I found myself weak to nag or even fight oscar…. ever since mum td me that Oscar suffered a trauma from childhood I found myself pitying him and trying not to do anything that would make us fight.
It’s stupid but sometimes I actually think of him as if his my husband…. but oscar would never look at me like that… to him I will always be “chenemi the village girl”
I know he was very shocked when kunle came to pick me up.
how did I meet kunle? it was on Facebook,. the very first day tony helped me to open an account that was the day I saw one of his post and commented
as usual I wasn’t polite, I insulted him and said he was fake…a lot of people came un-der my comment and dragged my right, left and center….
Later that day I received a call from an unknown number, I picked and he introduced himself to me as Mr kunle.
innocent me I had already forgotten the name of the person I insulted on Facebook.
He was very polite and sweet on the phone, he told me he was the person I insulted earlier.
we got talking and I got to know he is senator’s jide’s son…. i even went ahead to Google search for him.
ever since then he has been chattingvsnd calling me to know how I’m doing…. and honestly kunle is a very sweet person.
Our date was very simple, we ate and had some drinks… we went to see a movie I’m the cinema before he drove me home.
a perfect gentle man he drove into my compound and parked his car…. he opened his car door for me to come down.
KUNLE
we should do this more often…..what do you think?

I totally agree with you.
KUNLE
I really had so much fun…..thanks for agreeing to go out with me

I should be the one thanking you kunle…. since I came to Abuja I haven’t had such fun before….so thank you.

He said and I smiled….i didn’t know if I should put my act on alcohol or a should put it on anger.
He opened his arm to hu-g me, I walked into his arms immediately and ki-ssed his li-ps…. it was my ever golden first ki-ss….
I have kept this ki-ss for a very long time and wanted to give it to someone who was worth it… maybe kunle was worth it.
He pulled away to be sure I really wanted the ki-ss… I smiled at him and closed my eyes giving him sign to ki-ss me again that I permit it.
He grabbed my wai-st and ki-ssed me for a few minutes before someone came and for-cefully pulled me out of his arms.
who the hell would kill my joy like that
