Chapter Eighteen
Pinkie’s pov:
I went to my room and had a bath.
What do I wear?
I stare at the pink wardrobe infront of me.
Am so confused.
I took a blue top and a grey skirt. I wore it before going to Rex’s room.
He was all dressed up.
How fast..
He took his three black colored iphone and took my arm as we left the room.
“Oh, I forgot about breakfast..
“Pinkie, are you hungry?” Rex said when we got to the living room.
Ugh, he must be running late already.
I shook my head.
“No, am not. Let’s go” I replied.
I tried to take a step but he stopped me.
“One sec…” He muttered as he reached for my hair and he patted it backwards.
He handed me a hairpin to use and hold my hair.
I looked down at my palm.
I gasped.
The hairpin is made of diamond.
It glittered brightly.
I love it..
“Thank you” I said putting it on my hair as I followed him out of the house.
The cars were already parked outside. Rex and I entered the one at the middle and the door was shut my a guard
The car started and we drove off.
Rex turned stared at me for a while. He dropped his phones on the seat and he took his hand to my head again. He fixed the hairpin well and I stared at his innocent face as he did this.
How charming…
“When we get there, don’t cause trouble, okay?” He said.
I scoffed.
“Are you saying am a trouble maker?”
“Noo, how can I? You’re my pretty troublemaker ” He said with a laugh.
I smiled.

Rex and I walked down the lovely garden hand in hand. The photography crew were already there setting their equipments.
A fat but handsome wearing a suit made his way to us.
He had a suprised look on his face.
“Rex! I never thought i’d see the day! Who’s this pretty girl with you?” He asked Rex taking my hand.
He kizzed it and I just gaped at him.
“don’t touch her, she’s mine” Rex said possessively and removed my hand from his.
The man giggled winking at me.
“Where’s manager Tc?” Rex asked holding my hand and ru-b-bing it.
“He’s with some men. He said I should prep you for make up” the man said.
Rex looked around for a while before he followed the man and I walked with him.

We got to a sp-ot where there were four girls with rainbow wigs. Rex sat on a seat and one of them rushed to him and starts to do her thing on his face.
I sat on one of the seat just looking at my legs…
Am so nervous.

Rex’s pov:
the shoot took off once manager Tc arrived. Am so happy Pinkie’s here.
She’s all I want…
I saw Seraphina among the crowd. She had her eyes fixed on me.
Oh, I forgot to call her since last night.
Am going to talk to her after the shoot…

“Pinkie, can you please give me a minute, I have to meet someone” I said as I helped her enter the car.
She nodded.
“Be back soon… Am kinda hungry” she said
I nodded.
I went to the sp-ot Seraphina was waiting.
“Hi” she said and sniffed.
“I know we aren’t cool Seraphina, no nee-d to pretend….
“Am sorry I left last night. I’m sorry i didn’t call back… ”
“I un-derstand. Am not important to you” she said folding her hands. She pulled out her che-st and her b–bs are over my face.
What’s wrong with her?…
“You’re my friend. I care about you. please don’t feel bad about what happened. Am truly sorry” I stated.
“But you kizzed me.. Didn’t it mean something to you?” She asked pressing her body on mine.
I stepped back a bit…
Why is she being so cozy?…
“Am sorry about that too, it was a mistake” I said.
“No… Rex, stop hurting my feelings.. Am crazy about you” she cried.
Next thing I know, She for-ced her li-ps on mine and wrapped her hands around my ne-ck.
What in the heavens?…
I removed her hands from my ne-ck and pushed her away holding her on her shoulders.
I think She’ve lost her mind.
“Rex… I love you” she sobbed.
I turned around and saw Pinkie watching from where she was.
Damn it…
I left the psycho girl and ran to Pinkie.
She went into the car and I joined her.
“Babe, I swear it’s not what you think it is” I rasped.
She folded her arms and starts to cry.
“Just take me home” she whispered.
Oh no. The last thing I’d do is break her heart.
I have to fix this.
What if she doesn’t trust me again?

Pinkie’s pov:
I couldn’t stop sobbing..I felt so hungry and hurt.
Rex,
How could he do this to me?
He said he’d never kizz her again??
Were they dating behind my back?
I snubbed Rex throu-ghout the ride home and once the car stopped, I opened the door and ran into the mansion.
“Pinkie!” Rex called behind me but I ignored him.
I don’t want to talk to him.
I got to my room and locked the door.
I took a pack of cookies in my fridge and to-re the wrapper…
Am just too mad at Rex to eat…?
But am super hungry…
I ate it grumpily.
I heard a knock on the door.. more knocks followed.
“Pinkie please open the door…
Am sorry for hurting you..
I swear ,I didn’t kizz her! She kizzed me..
Listen to me, please!
C’mon Pinkie, I love you…”
I had to use a pillow to cover my ears.
I continued crying after I was done finishing three packs of cookies.
I cried for a while and I got thirsty.
Oh no!
My water bottle was empty.
Now I have to go downstairs and fill up.
I don’t hear any sound from Rex.
He must have left.
I took the bottle and left the room.
I looked at my right and left before going downstairs. The coast is clear…no sign of Rex anywhere.
I got to the kitchen which was also empty. The maids must he on their break. I went to the water dispenser and starts to fill the can.
I turned to see Rex staring at me. I got startled.
He had an apple in his hand and had bitten from it. He was no longer wearing his white suit. He had a sleeveless red hoodie and a red bandana on his head…
He starts to come close and I feel my heart beating fas-ter than it should.
He was standing right beside me.
“Are you done crying?” He asked.
I sque-ezed my face again.
“Leave me alone Rex” I jibed.
“She for-ced herself on me. un-derstand that Pinkie. Stop making this ha-rder for me. I love you” He said sweetly and wrapped his two hands on my wa-ist from behind.
He kizzed me on my ne-ck and I found myself turning to face him.
He pulled me into a hu-g and I hid my head in his che-st.
“Are you still mad at me?” He asked.
I shook my head.
“No, am just kinda hungry” I replied.
He smiled.
“I’ll feed you then. Anything for you my love” He said and my cheeks turned red.
I love him more..
More than i ever thought I could love someone.

Rex’s pov:
I woke up to see Pinkie beside me. I kizzed her hair. She’s so pretty.
My mini goddess…❤
I took my phone going throu-ghmessages and she woke up. Stretching her self.
Our eyes met and I smiled.
I could get used to this.
She came close and kizzed me on my cheek. My cheeks flushed.
I can’t believe Pinkie did that just now…
Maybe she dreamt of me..
“I have another crazy shoot today” I breathed out.
“Um….Rex” she called softly.
I dropped my phone and turned to her.
“I told you what I want to do when the curse is broken….I want to study Rex. I want to start schooling…will that be possible for me?” She asked pouting.
“Do you really want to go to school?
“Look around…Pinkie I have all the money. you won’t lack a thing. No nee-d to study for jobs” I Said pushing My hair back.
“You go out all day to the studio while am cooked up here… please Rex. I want to go to school”
“I don’t want you to” I retorted…
“But Why?” She asked making a baby face
“You might crush on a se-nior there and I don’t want you stressed with homeworks” I replied saying my mind..
Anything can happen!
Especially those high school bad boys.
Pinkie’s pretty, they’ll surely want her.
She laughed.
“I won’t crush on anyone Rex, I promise. And as for homeworks… they’d keep me busy,they are no stress at all”
“Okay fine” I breathed out.
“And also, please don’t put me in a rich school…a public one is okay” she said and I felt like going crazy…
“No way” I protested taking my phone and getting off the bed.
“But Rex….”
“No buts. Just let me handle this Pink” I said going to the bathroom to take a bath.
