We arrived at the hospital and told them what happened,
“Is he dead? Like he don die? The funniest of my friends asked and I only smiled.
“Not yet, but he will die a painful and gradual death, Linda replied rather.
“E no still make any s-en-se na, after all na die and die. Make they just kpai that man comot make I sleep well abeg, he said and Linda bur-st out laughing.
“Your blood too dey h0t o, Linda said.
“I no see any reason why dey wan keep am na, he said.
“Die na die I agree, but e go pain me if he die like that, I want make he use his mouth beg for death and death go tell am make he wait first, Linda crush said.
“But imagine say if we continue to del@yam like that he die as a repented sinner go heaven? Linda asked and I scoffed.
“Abegi! Heaven ni, for person wey get straight ticket to the p@rt wey Lucifer dey fan every 2 2 minutes, the guy who returned with us said.
“Someone who has sold himself to the devil? He will just join his master over there in hell, are my brothers not awake yet? I asked.
“They did but sle-pt off again when they cried of feeling heat on their b©dy, it was good you were not here, probably you would have joined them in crying, Uche replied.
“Did you see the burns? Was it that serious? I asked.
“Yes I saw the burns but it will clear off, you know children skin heal fast, don’t worry about it, Uche replied and I heaved cleaning my face.
“Its over now Dora or is there anything else disturbing you?, Linda asked and I nodded.
“Yes and finally I can be at peace, but there’s one more person that nee-d to get down, my slave master in the village….. In fact everyone of them who conspired to kill my parents, i wont let them go free, I said and the guy who helped us sat up quic-kly like an idea dropped on his head.
“Now that Manfred is about to die, we should make him confess all the havoc he committed and all those who joined him in doing it. Evil should be cleared once and for all else we haven’t done anything o, he said and I saw s-en-se in his talk.
“That’s true, besides I don’t know all those who joined in his evil act but only few, if he can call out their names it will be easier, I said.

He picked up and in the background we can hear Manfred screaming and Linda crush bur-st out laughing carrying his legs up.

“Oga abeg no vex, we know say you don try for us well well but we wan ask for small favour, Linda crush said.
“What’s the problem? Money? Tunde asked.
“No no no sir, its just that I wanted you to help me ask Manfred the names of all those who joined him in killing my parents. They nee-d to taste how that path is very sweet to journey to, I spoke up.
“He’s talking alre-ady o, he has been shouting mentioning some names here in pains to appear and help me out, but don’t worry I’ll get you their names, he replied.

“E no concern me o, wait o, you know the kind wickedness those people do us for there? Linda crush asked.
“Leave am she no un-derstand, the funniest guy said but I noticed Uche was quiet all this while looking at me.
“What’s wrong? I asked him.
“Dora I thought your problem was only on Manfred, why all this revenge extension? Is it necessary? He asked.
“I don’t get it, you mean I shouldn’t get revenge for my parents death? I asked him..
“The problem is it is affecting you, the main culprit will soon be dead, so let it go, Uche said.
“No I wont and I’m very sorry, everyone of them who cut my parents short at a young age will go also. I am taking the revenge on my head and I will carry it out! I shouted.
“You’re becoming different and I don’t want this for you, he said and stood up and entered the room while I sighed and saw my friends looking at me carefully.
“Uche is right, you’re changing, Linda said.
“I’m I? I asked.

“We watched the video, but if he does that then you don’t nee-d to bother for revenge, your parents will fight their fight. Linda and Uche is correct, this revenge will turn you to a different person, one your parents won’t like you to be, Linda crush said and i covered my head.
“Okay if you say so, when we shall go to l@yBenson to rest, I’ll do the necessary there once and for all and get my father house back from that bastard, I said and i heard my brothers coughed which i went in to see them…….
2days later i visited my brothers and we were talking and laughing.
They got to tell me about so many things, especially their school and I shared my experiences of how i was able to sneak in that day.
They laughed ha-rd at me and we kept on talking until Linda phone began to ring.
“Yes dear, she picked up.
“Really? That’s good news, I’ll tell her right away, she said.
“Oh plea-se s£nd his pictures I can’t wait to see his face, she said laughing and dropped the call.
“Who’s that? I asked her.
‘Your uncle is finally dead o, and soon his pictures will be s£nt to you, she replied.
“Uncle is dead? My brothers asked and I looked at them to see if they will be sad or not, after all they grew up with him and i will un-derstand if they will have a soft sp©t for him hearing that.
“I’m sorry, I said tou-ching them.
“But sister why? He deserves to die! didn’t he killed my mommy and daddy and attem-pted to kill us too? He deserves to die! Samuel shouted and i held him.
“Its okay dear he’s dead and mommy and daddy has been revenged. Just get better so that we will leave this place, I said cleaning his tears.
“I pray the vultures eat him, Edward said and Linda crush nodded.
“Na good talk be that, na animal suppose use his b©dy as diet, things ha-rd and they suppose dey hungry by now, Linda crush said and I only shook my head smiling and tried taking my brothers off the mood by continuing with our talk,while the guys left to see his b©dy by them selves in case Manfred is pretending to be dead.
I and Linda saw the pictures that was s£nt by Linda husband and i shook my head seeing the way he was butchered like an animal in the abattoir.
“So with all his killings, power, wealth and everything, he still ended like a miserable chicken. Indeed wickedness doesn’t pay, I said.
“That’s it Dora, but I’m contemplating on something here, should i go back to my husband despite all he has done? I know for sure my husband is not clean and that is ma-king me scared, she said.
“You feel he is dirty like Manfred and may meet the same waterloo? I asked and she nodded.
“You know the last escape I ran away from him, i heard him discussing with his guys how he will get new born babies from the hospital for his sanctification, those children are always killed and that made me not to get pregnant for him. Because I don’t want a situation where my babies might be used for his nons-en-se or the crying and the cursing of the mothers won’t affect my innocent children, she said.
“Are you serious? Oh my God that’s terrible! The blood of the innocent children might get filled and then trouble will b!ow. plea-se Linda you have the right to choose what you want, I don’t know if he’s helping us so that you’ll get back to him. But i think you should sit him down and talk maturely, tell him this is not just working and beg him for your freedom. Be very sincere and open to him, i said.
“Dorathy i have tried but he does not listen to anything like that. Now Manfred has has taken me back to him and i doubt if he will let me go, honestly Dora i don’t want to be with him. Just like what has happened to Manfred, this powers has their expiring limit and when its exhausted what about me? Won’t i be caught up in the middle? She asked and i heaved not knowing what else to say.
The matter is just more than me and i got sad i couldn’t help her in this just one problem she has,
“Why not discuss this with the guys? I asked and she shook her head.
“No no no let’s not take it far, he has alre-ady won their heart and they see him as good man. But don’t worry I’ll try to talk with him, maybe then i didn’t do it the right way but now I’m beginning to know his soft sp©t and i pray It works out, she said and i nodded.
“I’m sorry, I said and she smiled.
“Its okay, so has you and uche talked yet? The problem is now over what is keeping you two? She asked and i just laughed while she win-ked at me………..
