THE FALL
After the war,the vampires go into hideout because the demons has ris£n in a full fold. But their queen is not happy.
She did not only lose her parents but also the love of the vampire king Damien. Alisha has to choose between being the queen of Black Moore and leaving the throne for the greedy uncle she has or fighting for the man she loves,the man who is suspected to being in a spell,a spell which may never be broken.
A spell which may cause him his life if he tampers with it. How did he get spelled? And who’s the socerer?
Remember the last existing witch was Damien’s mother,so who’s this socerer? Is she evil?
And what oath did Damien take when he was at the brink of death? Is it connected to the spell?? How did he survive?
Will he ever love Alisha again?

THEME: DARK & LONELY

Heavy wind blew across the horizon, s£nding chills into the spines of the inhabitants of Earth. The demon queen walked majestically and sternly around the dark axis of the black Moore kingdom,with a lonely heart.
She might have led the battle which f0rç£d the vampires to their knees but her heart still yearned and seek it’s rightful place.
“Your highness, prince Ashton’s wails has refused to subside,I think he nee-ds his mother” Rosie a maiden informed Alisha. Rosie is a human girl who was taken captive by the vampires but Alisha rescued her and she bec@m£ the little prince nanny.
Her slow steps to her sons chamber reminded her of the days in zikia,the days she wished to relive. “Do you nee-d anything?” Rosie asked again, raising the shutters as lightening filled the air. “Nay, you may retire for the night,I plan to spend the night with my son” she announced and Immediately, Rosie bowed and made her way out of the chamber.
Her mind drifted back to Damien and the last time she saw him. The hurt in his blue orbs,the shallow breaths he took and the sad smile which finally thvgged at his lowerl-ip.
She finally realized the worth of her words on the night of her escape. Yes she has brou-ght the vampires to their knees and made her people happy but her happiness went along,it vanished into thin air and this made her shiver.

“Arise,arise” the witch chanted over Damien’s injured b©dy,he looked like someone who had been ravaged by beasts but nevertheless,the witch singsong over his b©dy, pas-sing h0t coals and portions over his head before he slowly c@m£ back to live.
“Where am I?” He spoke lowly,as if calculating his next words as he looked around. Instantly, memories began rushing in,the clashing of swords,the gr-unting of men,the cries of innocent and weak souls as the demons attacked in their numbers.
“You’re safe my Lord” the witch replied, placing her treasures and portions back in the box. “The war was fierce, right now,the demons have taken Dominion over zikia,any vampire who dares return there will face a brutal death” she whispered,with wi-de eyes before narrowing them.
“I made you to be alive,I gave you the chance to see the world again,what will be my reward?” She asked, wiping his b©dy with a we-t clothes as he clenched his jaw.
“I don’t have treasures,I don’t have gifts i only have one thing left, that’s my beating heart” he replied, placing her hands on his che-st.
“Then let me have it” she blurted out and immediately,he frowned and pushed her hands away.
“This heart has only belonged to one person and that’s my queen,my woman,no matter what happens,no one can take…..arrgh” he gro-an ed in pain as she chuckled.
“That’s what you get for professing love for another woman,great king of zikia, you just got entangled with the greatest witch ever, we’re entwined now,once you Try leaving me, you’ll die but if you don’t you’ll be alive, don’t forget I have your heir in my palms” she added devilishly with an evil sm-irk.
“That’s not possible I!” He snapped, looking at her face as she laughed demonically. “It is,dear prince of zikia,now I can fulfill my de-sires of being queen of zikia, finally!” She yelled as lightening and thun-der filled the air.

?King Damien’s POV ?

I finally learnt her name was Morgana and we’ve been saddling for days, heading to zikia. I know I’ve been spelled and also there’s no way out of it.
“A penny for your thoughts,my king?” Her voice broke the peaceful silence as I turned to look at her. “What do you want to Know?” I asked and she chuckled, throwing a sweet glance at me before looking ahead.
“Just what you’re thinking, that’s the only thing I don’t have Dominion over,I can’t re-ad your thoughts” she confessed and i sm-irked stylishly.
“You can smile out my king but remember one thing,once you mess up, your heir will be no more” she threatened and i slid back into my shell.
“Wow, finally!” She exclaimed as zikia c@m£ into view, the place was bustling with activities but it all c@m£ to a st©p when they sighted me.
Immediately,they fell to their faces,as I dismounted the horse and helped Morgana too. “It seems they’ve missed you alot” she said in a whisper as we walked towards the Royal castle.
“Arise the king of zikia arrives” Lord Bennett announced and Immediately, people bowed as we made our way in.
“My Lord this way plea-se” Lord Bennett said, ushering me into the new chamber where Katherine sat, waiting close to the window.
“You’re back, you’re alive!” She exclaimed, walking towards me as her smile seized. Her eyes traveled down to our entwined hands as she moved backwards.
“Who’s she?” She asked and immediately Morgana let go of my hand and walked forward.
“Morgana” she said while Katherine sm-irked. “Am lady Katherine the king’s betrothed” she announced boastfully as Morgana chuckled.
“Oh my Lady,but that has to change because,I and the king have fallen de-eply in love with each other and if you stand in the way, you’ll be gone” she whispered the last p@rt but am sure Katherine heard it because her facial expression bec@m£ livid.
“I’ll love to watch you try” she replied and walked out.

“I just got news,King Damien is back,but he returned with someone,a lady” Gwen whispered as I looked into her eyes.
“How sure are you?” I asked, placing Ashton on my be-d as I turned to face her properly. “Am very sure my Lady, you have to act fast,or else..” i raised my hands and Immediately she got the message and shut up.
“Set for our dep@rture secretly,we have to be back before my uncle gets well” I said and Immediately she nodded and left.
I know I’ve wronged him,the war claimed a lot of lives including that of my parents i just hope am not too late,I just hope I’ve not lost his heart.
Revenge has driven me to my doom,it has driven me to a wrong path,my words on the night I left zikia repla-yed in my head as lightening flashed throu-gh the sky.

“We have to go unnoticed, he has to see his son” I said, wra-pping Ashton properly in the cloak.
“Some people are coming,come on let’s get going” Gwen said in a whisper as someone flashed a burning flame towards our way.
“Who are you?” The familiar voice Katherine welcomed us as I scoffed. But where could be heading to by this time of the night? Isn’t she supposed to be in the castle?
I looked up and closed my eyes, immediately heavy wind began to b!ow as we broke into a run. Knowing who Katherine is,I knew she was going to vampire speed and get ahead of the us so…..I gr@bb£d Gwen as we vanished into thin air.
It’s not time for anyone to know am around, it’s not time for them to know the heir of zikia is alive.

The wind blew fiercely as thun-der stro-ke the clouds. I don’t know what it means but am sure it’s a sign. “Thinking about something?” Morgana asked, walking up to me as I sighed”no why do you ask?” I asked, turning to face her as my mind drifted back to the bloody war,the demons took almost all we had and it’s all her fault. Alisha’s fault.

✨ FLASHBACK ✨

The clashing of swords, screaming from young and innocent one’s filled my ears as I la-id in the pool of my own blood. A demon stabbe-d me with a silver dagger, ma-king me weak and becoming dormant over me.
I watched as the demons fought,slew and finished the vampires off. Then I asked myself a question. Am I worth to be called a king?.
“Alisha, Alisha plea-se save my people, even if not for anything,for the love we share,put a st©p to this cold war” I begged as my own blood choked me.
It’s as if she was possessed by something,as if she didn’t know what she was doing.
“Why should I? Your people kept us in bondage, you svçkhumans as if you created them but it’ll end today, it’ll definitely end” she lamented as thun-der stro-ke the clouds.
“With the power invested in me,I make the vampires slaves,impotent before us” she yelled as my eyes began to close down. She watched me take my last breath as everything on Earth bec@m£ blurry.

We got to a dark alley which led to the king’s chamber. I really nee-d to see him,even if he hates me,he can’t hate his son.
“My Lady let’s get going” Gwen said, taking the baby from my arms as I followed suit.
“This is it, you’ll keep the witch busy with your magic while i talk to him.” I ordered and she nodded.

I blew all the lights out as the guards bec@m£ confused,they trotted everywhere to get gras-s and stones so I used this as an opportunity to get into Damien’s chamber. He sle-pt peacefully but in an awkward position.
I placed Ashton on the empty p@rt of the be-d before turning to tap him. “Wake up” I whispered as he sat up and immediately,he flung me backwards with his powers as I hit the floor length mirror.
“What are you doing here? What else do you nee-d?” He asked, moving closer to me but I stood my ground, looking into his eyes without a trace of fear.
“I brou-ght your son, he’s there” I said and he turned to look at Ashton before looking at me. “Since you’ve brou-ght him, you can leave,i don’t want to see you here except you’ll be my prisoner” he added as the door opened revea-ling the witch as she pu-ll-ed Gwen r0ûghly by the hair into the chamber.
“Oh who do we have here?” She asked sarcastically, dropping Gwen on the floor as her eyes trailed to Ashton.
“Oh…..our prince” she said, moving to hold him but I was fast enough to block her way.
“You dare not t©uçh him, he’s mine not yours” I emphasized the yours as she chuckled. “Of course, keep him well and safe.
“I must not see them tomorrow or else….” She said and walked out as Damien’s face lost it’s glow.
“What’s she talking about?” I asked walking up to him but he st©pped me.
“Don’t come closer, you have no business here, just leave but not with my son” he added immediately.
“If am not leaving with my son then am going no where,be prepared for me” with that,I took my son and vanished from his chamber.
