Chapter 5&6
“Who is he?” Martin ask calmly but his tone showed how dangerous he was.
Evelyn didn’t want to answer him but sbe know know better than keeping quiet.
“He is my friend,” Evelyn replied glaring at him angrily and his diverted to haris who was kinda of confused.
“Who is he?” He whispered in evelyn ear and Martin cliche in his fist angrily. He didn’t like how they was close to each other.
‘Only he has the guts to be close to her,’ He tuaght glaring at him and Haris shivers as he meet with his gaze .
His eyes were filed with hatered, anger yet a dangerous smirk foamed in his lips.
“What….the…the hell are you doing here?” Evelyn shuttered, fear still visibly in her eyes making the later chuckles.
He likes it when he is scared of him, he likes it when he is controll of her because he knows he can tell what to do and she wouldn’t dare disobey him.
Haris phone rang and he pick up. Evelyn stare at him as he spoke on the phone.
She didn’t want him to leave, at least it is not going to be ackward. Staying alone with Martin was like a death wish to her and she really don’t wanna stay with him.
“Evelyn I need to go now,” He announced and her eyes widened and he quickly grab his hand softly leaving the later in surprised while martin scoffs angrily.
“Please don’t go,” She pleaded and Haris laugh.
“You have a visitor I guess, so you won’t feel lonely,”
He taught it was one of those when she feel alone and needs someone to stay with her but…this was more like that.
She needed someone to stood by her, she didn’t wanna stay with the beast standing right now.
“Bye sweetie,” He kiss her forehead and Martin groan loudly making Haris stare at him.
They both stare at each other, the other with anger and hatered, the other with pure and fear.
She slowly move back as Haris walk out. She tried to run up to her room but she was caught already by one of martin guards.
“Get your hands off her,” He yells and the guard quickly let go of her.
“Trying to run away from me again?” He ask in a teasing tone and evelyn gulp down in fear.
He sat down gently on the couch, his legs crossed like a boss.
“I am not working for you, if you came here because of that,” Evelyn said and he tilted his head to the side staring at her with a weird smile.
“Your mother is at the hospital right now, do you really think she Is really going to be happy with you when she finds out you have the chanced to save her,” He said and evelyn eyes widened, not because of what he said but because of the fact he knows about her mother and she knows he is going to use that to his own advantage.
“Don’t you dare bring my mother into This,” She yells and that seem to surprised the man sitting at the couch.
While they were dating she has never for onced raised her voice at her and seeing it right now he just can’t keep smirking.
“You have grown more bold than I taught evelyn,” He said in a teasing tone and the young woman just stare at him.
“The doctor gave you one month to provide money for the medication and it already 3 weeks but….if you agree to work for me I will give you the money for your mother medication before paying you your salary,” He said and evelyn eyes widened.
She look at him, trying to see if he was sincere.
“Call me if you are interested and I give you now till 3pm to think,” He said, no it sounded more like a command.
Evelyn look at the wall clock and she scoffs turning to look at him.
It was just 2pm already.
Not like he was going to let her be if she didn’t accept but he was just trying to threaten her.
“Is just 2pm,” She shouted.
“Well you can just make your decision right now,” Martin said and she sigh before sitting down on the couch.
Working with Martin was a dangerous game and she really didn’t want to be the victim. Having martin as her boss was something to be scared of but her mother life was more important.
She knows him too well to be a playboy which was something to be scared of.
Her pureness, beautiful face, her sexy body, was something driving him crazy and he wanted to have her all to himself.
“Am going,” He said and stood up.
“Wait,” Her tiny voice called out and all he could do was smirk before turning to look at her.
“Fine,I agree to be your secre….. secretary,” She finally agreed making the man smile widely.
A smile that shows how happy he was to have her working for him.
“You made a good decision Eve,” He move close to her and she quickly move back not wanting to be close to him and Martin just roll his eyes before moving away from her.
“Come early tomorrow or else you will get punished,” He winks at her making her gulp down and then he walk out of the house while his guards follow behind.
Evelyn sigh before sitting down on the bed staring into space.
“I hope I made the right decision,” She said to herself.

“What the hell is wrong with you, he was just trying to be friendly with me,” Evelyn yells and martin grab hold of her neck.
“Don’t you ever raised your voice at me again. I only have the guts to speak with you not some random boys,” He said angrily and let go of hee neck while she cough violently on the floor…

She open her eyes slowly meeting with the dark ceeling and she sigh in relief placing her hand on her chest.
It was all a dream or it was a truama for her.
Her alarm ringing tone made her stood up from the bed hurriedly as she remember she is going to be starting a new job today. She sigh when she remembers who is going to be her boss.

“You mind if I drop you off at your work place?” Haris ask and she just nodded.
She had told him yesterday that he was working, he was kinda happy but if only he know she is not happy about it.
“Where is little ava?” He ask looking around trying to see if he could find the little one.
“She already went to school,” Evelyn replied.
“Come on let get going, you might get late on your first day of work,” Haris Said and they both enter the car.
She look out of the window as he started the car. Her mind was occupied, she was thinking so hard.
She hates so much to be working for that bastard. She had wanted to work at a restaurant but the money was not big and now when she got the opportunity to work in a company, it turns out that the boss is her nightmare.
How was it going to be like for her during work.
“You bothered?” Haris ask and Evelyn just fake a smile trying to sound okay but she wasn’t good at prentending.
“Is there something wrong evelyn, aren’t you happy you got the job?” Haris ask as he control the starring and evelyn sigh turning away from him.
“I am perfectly fine,” she replied.
“Okay,” Haris simply replied but he knows it, he know his Best friend was not okay but he was not going to bother her with questions.
“I think we are here,” He announced and that feeling came into her again.
She was struggling to work on this feeling because it seem to be killing her inside and outside.
“Am scares,” Evelyn said as she look at the tall building from the window.
“You don’t have to,” Haris tried to calm her down but it was not working.
She breath in and out before coming down from the car and Haris did the same .
“Damn girl, that dude must be so rich to have this kind of company,” Haris said and evelyn scoff because he find what he says funny.
Martin was rich beyond one can see, she remember those days they were dating, most girls were jealous of her because he take her out every day but…….if only they knew what she was passing through.
The sound of horn honking made them turn around and a lamborghini car drove into the compound with two lexus following behind.
They rush out of the car and quickly open the door open him. He steps out gently like a king, arranging his suit.
Evelyn gulp down nervously, fear as she watch him step outside.
He was dressed in a black suit and one could tell by just looking at it that it was expensive, he wore a silver shoe making the dress more fitted and he was also wearing a gold chain.
His long hair was comb to the front almost covering his eyes, making him more handsome and sexy.
He turn his face to evelyn and he smirk but his face turn to an angry one when he saw Haris standing near her.
“Geez, did I ever do something to this guy,” Haris whispered in evelyn ear staring at martin who was glaring angrily at her.
“Okay is better I go, see you,” Haris said to evelyn and quickly rush inside his car.
“Bye,” he throw a kiss at evelyn who couldn’t help but laugh and that seem to make martin angry.
He should be the one to make her laugh not some other boys.
When Haris finally drove out, she looks at martin who was just looking with that farmiliar look.
He was angry and he was feeling possessive over her.
He stare at her for some seconds before he started walking inside the building and his guards didn’t waste time in following him.
Evelyn sigh before walking inside the building as well.
As he walks inside all the staffs quickly bow down their head. They know better than staring at him but as usual some of the girls and boys could not help but stare at their handsome boss.
“Awwn, he is so cute,”
“Look at his shoe,”
“I wish I could have a night with him,”
“I am so happy I got to see his naked body,”
That particular comment seem to take the attention of evelyn who was walking behind him.
‘he slept with his worker’s,’ Evelyn taught to herself.

She rub her sweaty hands together, breathing heavily before pushing the door.
‘The office was really beautiful,’ She taught looking around.
“You were late,” She turn around to see him sitting, his legs crossed.
“We came the same time didn’t we?” Evelyn said and martin scoffs standing up, moving towards her and she move back until her back touch the wall.
He pin her to the wall and evelyn just stare at the floor, wishing the ground should open and swallow her.
She hate the position they are standing.
He raised her chin up and made her look at his sexy blue eyes yet.
“What the hell are you wearing?” He ask calmly and evelyn frown not understanding what he meant.
Her eyes widened when he felt his hand moving inside her skirt.
“What the hell are you….you doing martin?” She shuttered fearfully and she didn’t bother to push him because she knew it was useless anyway.
“I am trying to prove to you that this skirt is too short and I can get my hand anytime I want so next time wear something coverable, I would not want some other boys looking at what Is mine,” He said smirking while evelyn just stare at him.
“You still smell nice eve,” He sniff her hair making her shivers and she pushed him away angrily.
“I am here to work as your secretary, I am not here for Romance,” Evelyn said angrily and he chuckled.
“We haven’t even started the real Romance,” He said smirking and evelyn sigh.
She know this was all a bad idea.
“Get me coffee,” He order as he sat back on the chair…
