Chapter 45&46
Evelyn sat down on the chair feeding ava whose eyes was still filled with tears.
The younger one was still in fear.
She was terrify, scared.
Evelyn sigh and hug her sister.
“I wanna sleep,” She said and evelyn nodded before laying her gently on the bed. She kiss the younger forehead and walk out of the room.
She walk downstairs and met the two boys playing game while laughing and evelyn just smile as she stare at them specially Martin.
They were in martin house right now since evelyn said she was scared to be alone and martin has suggested they come spend the night in his house.
He didn’t want them to be uncomfortable so he wanted them to come stay in his house so he could keep them safe.
She smiles and walk towards them.
What happen today made her love martin the more. She has come to realize that.
He was so determine to keep her and her love ones safe.
She didn’t know what it feels like to have a gun pointed on her head but she felt that feeling today.
She felt like death was calling her at that moment when a gun was pointed on her hesd but when she saw martin she felt that feeling of hope building inside of her.
Martin might have anger issues but she suddenly thank God for being that woman in his life.
“Hey babe. Is ava asleep?” Martin ask not bothering to look at evelyn and evelyn just smile not replying him. She gently sat on his thighs making him unable to play the game.
“Babe I am in the middle of a game please,” He said but evelyn just laid her head on his chest.
“I am not going to distract you. You can play the game,” She said and martin chuckle and continue playing with the game while haris just smile staring at them.
He has been with her for 8 months and she is like his sister and seeing her happy means alot to him.
Seeing martin doing everything to make sure evelyn and ava was safe made him wonder why evelyn broke up with him the first time.
“Damn it,” Haris yells as Martin won the game.
“You cheated,” Haris said and martin just rolled his eyes.
“I quit,” He said and drop the game pad on the table.
“Thank you so much for today,” She said as she laid on his chest softly and martin just smile.
“Hmmm hmmmm,” Haris cleared his throat but they didn’t seem to be bother about him.
“I will just go and get water,” He said and walk out leaving the couple alone.
“Are you okay sweetheart?” He ask softly and evelyn nodded, raising her head slowly to look at him and then she kissed him leaving martin in shock.
He didn’t expect evelyn to kiss him.
“Thank you so much for today Martin. An really happy that you are mine,” She said softly staring at his eyes and Martin just chuckle, kissing her softly.
“You Worth risking my life for. Just know that okay?” He said and evelyn nodded.
“You are the best,” She said kissing him again.
“Ava is scared though. I can see it in her eyes,” Evelyn said and martin sigh.
Almost immediately Ava rush towards them.
“What is it princes?” Evelyn ask.
“I can’t sleep.” The younger one replied and evelyn sigh.
“Come here sweetheart,” Martin said stretching forth his hand and the younger jumped into his hand.
“You don’t have to be scared okay? I am always going to be there for you,” He said and the younger nodded
“Your phone?” She said stretching forth her hand towards him.
“What?”
“I wanna use your phone,” The younger one simple said making martin chuckle while evelyn just laugh.
“Okay,” Martin said and hand over the phone to the younger one.
The door open and Charlotte and elizabeth walk in.
“Evelyn,” Charlotte called and they both hug each other.
“Are you okay?” She ask and Evelyn nodded.
“Sweetie,” Elizabeth called slowly and she hug evelyn who reciprocated immediately.
“Little one,” Charlotte called trying to take Ava from martin but she didn’t allow her.
“I saw the news and I was so scared,” Charlotte said and evelyn scoff.
“The news?” She asked surprise.
“Don’t be surprise. Boss is a Popular business man, a celebrity and celebrities got nothing to hide,” Elizabeth said and evelyn nodded.
“Brother you okay?” Charlotte ask martin who nodded and then she hug him slowly.
“What are you wearing?” He ask instead staring at charlotte who just roll her eyes.
She probably tuaght about him when wearing the clothes. He hates it when he wears short clothes.
She was putting on a blue Gan that stops above her knees and a black heel and trust me those clothes worths money.
“Seriously martin. Stop with this overprotective. She is a youth already,” Evelyn said and martin scoffs.
“Yeah but she is still my kid sister,” Martin said and the girls chuckle.
Haris step out of the kitchen and his eyes widened immediately he saw Elizabeth.
His heart was beating once again like it has seen it other half.
“Elizabeth,” He called as he walk fully to the sitting room and the girl also gasp.
“Oh Haris. What the hell are you doing here?” She ask surprised.
“Evelyn is my best friend,” He replied and elizabeth nodded. The two stare at each other softly before turning to look away from each other.
Almost immediately the door open and his friends walk in.
“What the fuck are you guys doing here?” He yells as they walk inside but they just ignore him and quickly move towards him.
“Are you okay bestie. I saw the News,” Cole said checking him out and he just sigh.
“I got a kid in front of him. You guys mind shifting back,” He said and they all move back.
One thing he loves and appreciate his friends for is that they care for him and get so bother anytime he is hurt.
Haris eyes widened as he saw noah and he quickly turn to the side trying not to make him see his face.
“Fuck,”He groan.
“You are the girl my friend worth risking his life for?” James said in an angry tone moving towards her making her move back in fear.
Martin just rolled his eyes. James is not being serious. He is just trying to scare her.
“Don’t be scared girl. You got our monster wrapped around to little finger,” James said and the friends bursted into laughter including martin and evelyn sigh in relief.
“Awwn look how pretty this kid is,” James said turning to look at ava who just glared at him.
“Damn this little one smells violence,” James said and they bursted into laughter.
Charlotte phone peep and she check it only to see it was a text message from cole.
“Aren’t you tired of avoiding me,” She scoffs and turn to look at him. They both stare at each other for some time before looking away from each other.
“Who is this pretty girl here?” Liam ask staring at Elizabeth.
“That is one of my favorites staff and that is…… Where is Haris?” He ask and Evelyn turns to look at the side but didn’t find Haris.
“Haris,” She called and he slowly came out of the kitchen trying to avoid Noah gaze boring holes into his skin.
“Oh and that is my best friend too…I don’t joke with him,” Martin said leaving Haris in surprise.
He never expected him to call him his best friend but he was happy to hear him say that.
He was even expecting him to introduce him as evelyn best friend.
“You?” Noah called and haris glared at him while he just smirk.
He have been looking for him but he can’t find him and now seeing him just can’t stop the feeling of happiness growing inside of him.
Martin phone rang and he smile when he saw it was his mother.
He was expecting her call.
“Son are you okay?” She ask panickly and martin chuckle.
“I am fine mum,” He simply replied.
“Darling I am so worried about you. I went to paris mexico yesterday to visit your grandpa but I am coming back,” She said and martin smile.
“Okay mum,”
“Martin we really have alot to discuss when I come back okay?” She said.
“Okay,”
“Bye sweetheart,”his mother said and the call ended.
“Boss dinner is ready,” A maid said bowing down and martin nodded.
“Let go eat,” James yells running to the dinning room.
“Always being the playful one in our midst,” Cole said.
“I heard that cole. I am not your mate,” James said playfully making cole chuckle.
Everyone sat down ready to dig in.
“WaW my favorite food,” Liam said as the maids serve the food.
The food consist of macalory and meatballs.
The dinning room was silent. Only the sound of plate and spoon could be heard as everyone enjoys their meal.
Evelyn phone rang and she sigh when she saw the name ‘Lightwood,’ Prison.
Probably he might have saw the news and he is worried.
She clears her throat as she stood up.
“Excuse me guys. I will be right back,” She said and walk out of the dinning room and martin stare at her as she walk upstairs and then he stood up.
“Excuse me guys,” He said and walk upstairs too.
“Where are they going?” The little one ask Haris who just smile and roughly her hair.
“They will be back soon,” He replied and the younger one nodded.
Haris eyes met with Noah but he quickly prentended like he didn’t see him.
He didn’t even think that they are going to meet again.
“Princess are you okay?” He ask immediately she pick the call.
“I am fine dad. You should be asking after Ava, she was kidnapped,” Evelyn said and mr Jackson sign.
He knows who is being it no doubt.
“I hope she is okay,” He said.
“Yeah she is okay,” She replied and he sigh In relief.
“You met a Good man daughter. I saw it on the news, how he was determine to protect you. I will be so proud to have him as a son-in-law.” He said And evelyn Bursted into laughter.
“Seriously dad?”
“Yeah. He have the qualities that makes him a perfect husband,” He said and evelyn laugh again.
“Bye princess. Just glad you are safe,” He said and he hang up.
Evelyn sigh and turn around only to see martin staring at her and she rolled her eyes.
“I know you were gonna come along,” Evelyn said smiling at him.
“Who was that?” He asked pointing to her phone.
“Oh my Dad. He just want to check on us if we were doing okay and guess what?” Evelyn said smiling.
“What?” Martin raised his eyebrows In a questioning manner.
“He praise you. He said he would be happy to have you as his son-in-law,” Evelyn said and martin blush making evelyn laugh.
“Come on let go downstairs,” she grab hold of her hand and they both walk out of the room.

“I wonder what they are still upstairs. They are probably having some fun,” James Said And Immediately a slap landed on the back of his head.
“Seriously,” He groan as he held the back of his head.
“You talk too much. What fun we were having?” Martin said and he hiss.
“Hmmm after eating everywhere will seem boring so I was thinking we could play a game,” Liam suggested.
“What game?” Elizabeth ask.
“Truth or dare,” He replied.
“Woah I am in,” Noah said.
“Hmmm I don’t play such games,” Evelyn said and James scoffs.
“Everybody is playing,”James said.

The nine adult sat around a big table. A vodka was placed on the center of the table and a can was also placed at the center of the table.
You must be wondering if ava is there. Yeah she is sitting on the couch but pressing martin phone not minding whatever they were doing.
Liam roll the can and it landed on james and Charlotte.
“Woah,” Everyone yells.
“Am kinda nervous,” Charlotte said.
“Truth or dare?” He ask and Charlotte gulp down before answering.
“Truth,” She replied her mind beating heavily.
“Hmmm are you in love with someone?” He ask and Charlotte gulp down nervously turning to look at martin who was just staring at her.
“Come on,” Everyone yells. She stare at cole for some moment before replying.
“Yes,” She replied and everyone clap.
“Who the is that lucky bit to win the heart of a beauty,” Haris said and everyone bursted into laughter.
“Damn you are crazy just like I am,” James said and everyone laughs again.
The can was roll again and it landed on evelyn and james.
“I so much like this,” James said smirking.
“You better not say something silly,” Martin said and everyone bursted into laughter.
“Truth or dare?” James ask and Evelyn gulps down.
“Truth,” She replied and james smirk.
“Be sincere with this question. Okay?” He said and evelyn nodded while martin just scoff.
“Have you guys have sex yet?” He ask and everyone gasps while martin just chuckle.
They were not expecting that question.
“What the hell man, you are crazy?” Noah said while everyone just laugh.
The question was really funny.
“No,” Evelyn replied.
“Hmmm that is a lie. You guys probably fuc**d once or twice,” James said and everyone bursted into laughter and immediately martin slap him on the head making him groan in pain.
The can was rolled again and it landed on Haris and elizabeth.
“Okay,” Everyone claps.
“Truth or dare,” Haris ask.
“Truth,” Elizabeth replied.
“Do you have a boyfriend?” Haris ask.
“Damn. That was a simple question,” James groan.
“Nope,” Elizabeth replied and the both smile at each other and Noah frown as he stare at them.
The can was roll again and it landed on martin and liam.
“Truth or dare?” Liam ask and Martin just rolled his eyes.
“I dare you to kiss evelyn,” Liam said.
“Woah,” Everyone scream excitedly while evelyn just bend down shyly.
“There is a kid here guys,” Haris said pointing to ava.
“She is not staring at us,” Liam said.
“Come on you got this,” James yells. Martin stood up and move towards evelyn.
He gently held evelyn by the face and kiss her softly making everyone scream in excitement.
