” Is that civilian talking to us ? One of them fired angrily and we all froze .
” No sir …she’s ….not feeling fine ” Clark said and everyone chuckled.
” Are you laughing at us ! The other attacked

” I think you all want this boats to be turned upside down.
” Jesus no …sir ” Mom said again.

I noticed Dad making a call and the Army man glared at him .
” Is he angry ? I asked my girlfriend.
” They’d throw the phone in the water ” she said and one of the army’s phone rang.
” Yes sir… yes oga ! He said and glared at Dad …”
” You can go ” he said to the drivers and the journey continued .
Seems like he called their boss .

” Wow ” Caden said as he took pictures .
” Who are those people ? I asked curiously and she chuckled .
” They’re the traditional compound chiefs …they’re here to welcome the corpse ” she answered.

I mean how can four compound make a village ?

We could see Manuel and Celine followed by Richie. …. Dancing alongside Mom and Aunt Bummi …With the villagers ..
” They’re crazy ” I said to which everyone laughed .

” We are not burying Him today ? I asked shocked .

” Why ? What if his ghost starts roaming around at night ” bervely asked shocked.

Her imagination was just too wild and funny ?
” So we are to dance till morning ? Vincenzo asked walking towards us .
” Yup …the canopies Are being Set at the U.A.C and since they’re lots of guests attending the burial we can set the chairs as long as the lines can carry ” Adesua explained.
” What’s the U. A. C ” I asked curiously .

What’s going on ? I asked as we walked towards the open space .

The native music began by the locals as Two opponents walked into the ring .
It was a local traditional wrestling .
They where dressed with local bells on their legs hands and wrappers around their wai-st as they challenged each other.
” Woah …..! Manuel screamed as he drank from the horn .
” What’s he drinking ? Marco asked in pannick .
” Don’t worry sir it’s just freshly tapped palm wine …” She said and I laughed.

What kind of crazy people are these ? I asked.
” They’d get high before the main night ” ADESUA laughed and I joined her .
We heard noises and there was already a winner .
I saw them present gifts to the winner as the raised him up calling him an Olutu which Adesua said means Wisdom.
” Let’s go get ready for tonight ” Adesua said as we walked towards their family House which was different from the one they kept their grandfather .
” My love ” Dami said immediately as he curved his hands around my ne-ck immediately I got into my room to change .

” Baby …c’mon I’m supper hor-ny ” he whinned and I ki-ssed his pouted face .
” And you went ahead drinking alcohol ? I asked teasingly as I removed his belt .
” What if your son comes to take a nap here ? I asked .
” No he can’t come here ..I won’t let him in ” he said as he helped me remove my dress .
” I’m not letting you out till it’s night ” he said as I led him to the Bathroom .

I knocked and their was no reply it was already getting dark a bit and I was ready for the till dawn party .
” My love ! I called and walked in.
” Katleah ” I called and she walked outta the bathroom w£t.

” Hey …what are you doing up here ?
” Nicole asked me to get you ” I said immediately turning back to her .
My eyes trailed how the water moved and my breath hitched …

I knew what my sister’s in-laws where planning immediately , they’re trying to get me to and Katleah in bed ….
It ended up making me chuckle .
” You’re back already ? She asked dissapointed .
” Of cause I’m back Nicole ” I said and my brothers burst out laughing badly .
” What if she wants someone to help her get dressed ? Danny asked frowning.
” My girlfriend can get ready on her own ” I Smiled.
” Stop beating around the bush guys …” Celine fired and Jess covered her mouth immediately .

” Go get laid Franco ” Benita fired at me and the girls turned to her .

It was already getting dark slowly and the tables where already put for the first night traditional waykeep till dawn .
” My love ” Feyi said as he hu-gged me from behind making all my cousins squil happily .
” I always knew you guys where made for each other ….you only kept denying it ” my uncle teased as he placed dry gins on the tables .
” She kept denying it” He said and my jaws dropped .
” Feyi it was you denying what you felt for Me , remember your Ex Rose ” I fired and my uncle burst out laughing.
” Enjoy your evening ” he said and escused us .
” Feyi ” I called.
” Hmmmn ” he answered as he walked in front .
” Where are you going ? I asked and he grinned at me .
.”I saw something that picked my interest ” he said and I followed his eyes .
” Water snails ? I asked.
” Water what ? He asked making me chuckle .
” Yup …water snails ” I answered as I led him towards them …I talked to the vendor and got them enough .
” All ? What if it’s not tasty ? He frowned .

” Go back to the waykeep ” she scolded as she walked pas-sed us .

The local musician started playing As the party lights lit around the village .
” Woah man ” Richie hailed and my jaws dropped as I saw what happened .
Dera Bervely and Adesua , Our moms dancing the native ijaw dance with wrappers tied around their wai-sts .
” This is crazy ….! Feyi laughed as the morreti’s girlfriend joined them .
” Ya baby show them what you’ve got ! Marco hailed as he took another swing of his alcohol .
” Fu-ck …it man ……! Celine hailed as she shook her bu*ts to the music while on Stefano’s lap-s .
I’m sure the locals are wondering where they picked us from .
” 1 …..” The musician said and they opened road for Dera and Adesua .
” Jesus ….! Richie said making everyone laugh as we couldn’t even see their A*s due to how fast to did it .
By night fall we had turned the whole village upside down … besides Quincy had fallen asleep early so we turned the waykeep to A club.
Our parents had wandered into the town as we disV¡rgined the village .
Richie and Dera where worse of them all .
Bervely ended up sleeping on Clark around 3 : Am .
That was when it got even hotter .
” Hey man …Tell Clark I’d be around during the burial ” Caden said as he hung his camera properly.
” Where are you of to ? I asked when I noticed his belt undone and a beautiful girl waving at him .
He scratched the back of his head with a chuckle.
” I thought you had a girlfriend ? I asked.
“I don’t wanna talk about it man ….see you ” he said and left with the girl .
