Episode 11
Alexander’s Pov~
“Xander, what the hell is wrong with you?” A much known voice was echoing in my cabin right now.
She is standing in front of my desk with deadly eyes, staring at me with both hands on her h!ps.
“Taylor, let me explain…”
“Alexander, she told me every damn thing.”
“First kindly sit and calm down. plea-se.”
Though she is still angry at me she sat down while I stood up leaning onto my table for support nearby to where she is seated.
“I thought its best for her to work with you, to get a good pay and experience. You being my childhood and best friend I thought you will treat her right.” She spoked softly.
“I know. I just…I saw her k!ss!ngVince!”
“So? Are you kidding me?
Seriously it’s her choice whoever she k!ssor do whatever, which she actually didn’t, but to ask her that – did he pay her to be with him? That was not acceptable.
That’s outright wrong. She’s not a slut Xander and you hurt her with those words.
“She didn’t k!sshim?” I asked her surprised.
“Out of all the things I said, you heard only that.” She looked at me incredulously.
“Taylor.”
“Yes. It was Vince, who suddenly k!$$£d her.” Upon hearing that I clenched my fist, closed my eyes with regret.
“Wait. Why are you so interested to know about who k!$$£d who?
Oh my god!
Do I smell something? Mm…”
“What?” I asked her while giving her a pointed look.
“A very strong smell…..Smell of jealousy.” She smiled wickedly at me.
“Why would I be jealous? That’s totally cra-p T.”
“Oh! Really Okay, so if Scarlet starts d@t!ngVince, that’s fine with you right? Then tonight I’m going to talk with her regarding her d@t£ with Vince.” Determined she said while texting someone on her cell.
I narrowed my eyes at her.
“What? Why are you giving me those looks? ”
“To whom are you texting?” I asked her.
“Vince.”
“What? How the hell do you have his number?”
“I got it from Scarlet. She had it. And I am asking if he is free for a d@t£ tonight for her.”
“No. You can’t do that.”
“Why? Vince is super-h0t and a nice guy and surely he will treat Scarlet right. And…”
“And he will break her heart AND will only treat her nice to get her un-der be-d with him.” I stated angrily by interrupting her.
“Xander!”
“What. I know guys like him.” I said frustrated.
“If not Vince then I will set her up with someone else, a gentleman with a beautiful heart.”
“Like who?”
“Why should I tell you? Besides why are you interested with her d@t£s?”
“I’m her boss. I should know about everything about my employees whereabouts.”
“Ex, You are her Ex-Boss and that’s bull$h!t what you just said now and you know it too.” She corrected me while smiling at me.
I was quiet and thought how stupid I am. Though I don’t know why we are having a conversation regarding her d@t£s or why I am so concerned about her and hearing that I am her ex-boss just made me feel like I am broken into million pieces. In the end I was irritated with every damn thoughts.
While these thoughts were running in my mind, Taylor was watching me and she stood up.
“Xander, I can see that you are missing something in your life and yet you are not aware of it. Now before you lose it, open up your eyes and see….. you will definitely find it. Or else you will regret it for a lifetime.”
I looked at her confused. What does she mean with that?
“Also, she still doesn’t know anything regarding us, we being childhood friends and she still thinks this job, which she had been achieved only because of her education and skills. Not because I called you up and asked for a favor, so do not tell her all this. It’s a secret between us. Okay.”
“Okay.” I said while I gave her a hvg and when she was about to leave she turned to me and said,
“Oh I forgot to tell you one more thing, she have received several appointment letters from various firms.”
“Yeah I know that. She has received one from A & J Corps as well… Antonio, that bastard is trying to lure her into his games.”
“Not just that. She got an interview with Dave as well, CEO of Maccoy Industries, one of your opponents. He is also our friend, we were college buddies so there is a chance she might take that job!”
“Roy didn’t mention that to me.” I whispered it to myself.
I was surprised about this new information because I told my tracker friend Roy to dig all info on her things. Yet this was not informed to me.
“Roy. You told him to track every movement of her? You… Argh! Forget it.”
“Don’t tell her. I will take care of all things.”
“You better. I am leaving now, you take care.” She said and left the cabin with a sigh of relief.
I sat down on my chair, closed my eyes and took a de-ep breath, realizing what an idiot I am for completely misun-derstanding her. I know now I nee-d to fix this soon. I nee-d to get her back as my PA.

P.S. :Taylor is Scarlet’s college friend and Alexander is Taylor’s childhood friend. Scarlet is not aware that they both know each other and so don’t get confused with their friendsh!pinfo.
Alexander’s Pov~
It’s been a week now and I am having sleepless nights ever since she left the job.
I even tried to keep several people as my PA for temporary basis. But none of them could handle the pressure of work neither they were having the ability to do things the way she did.
Damn I missed her every single day.
The way she smiles while conversing with the other employees, the way she holds the end of the pen between her pearly white teeth, while going throu-gh certain important do¢v-ments.
The way she looks up at me when I enter her cabin. I like it when she brings lunch for me. I just…. simple things done by her do matter to me a lot.
I still don’t know how to bring her back. I tried to call her but she never answered it. I tried to meet her but she was not willing to. Then how am I supposed to bring her back if I am not able to meet or talk personally with her.
Then Taylor informed me that she took up the job at Maccoy’s. New environment, good pay and Dave is taking care of her very well. But I don’t want her to work anywhere else but only for me.
So after a lot of thought I decided now that I am going to meet her at her new office. If she is not willing to come with me then I am going to drag her to my office.

“Good Mor…” She was surprised at my arrival and right now is standing in front of me with wi-de eyes.
“Good Morning Miss. Reeves.” I acted professionally in front of her but internally it feels good finally meeting her.
“Good Morning Mr. Pearce. How may I help you?
If your here to meet Mr. Maccoy, I’m sorry to inform you, he is not available today. But I can arrange a meeting for you and…”
“Scarlet. I am here to meet you.”
“Oh.” She said and I can see it, she is still angry at me.
“Scarlet. I know you do not wish to work with me anymore but as per the policy and regulations you have to serve a notice period with us. I am not approving your on sp©t resignation.”
“You c@m£ here, all the way from your office to tell me this? I think there is more Mr. Pearce…something important….like an apology.”
“I shouldn’t have reacted that way and I hurt you for which I am really sorry.
I apologize for my actions and it was not my intention but I was angry with what I saw.” I said from the bo-ttomof my heart and I could see a little shine in her eyes.
Tears were welling up but she controlled it.
“I… umm… I can’t come to work with you. I have alre-ady signed up a contract with Dave.” She said while thinking about it.
“I’ll double your pay. Just rejoin with us.” I said and then I saw her scowled face.
“Mr. Pearce you…”
“No. It’s not in a wrong way.
I offered you a double pay because you deserve it. You are ha-rd working and efficient enough for the tasks that are given to you. That’s it.”
“I will think about it.” She said after a minute.
“No. You have to decide it right now.”
“What…Now? I… okay fine. I will rejoin.”
“Great. Then we are leaving right away. You can pack up your things; mail your resignation after you reach office. I will wait for you down.” I informed her and headed down.
I am so happy; she is coming back with me. I knew she will accept my offer and apology. Besides working with Pearce Industries is a big opportunity as it’s the leading company in NY.
While Maccoy Industry is just a competitor, they are not ranked among the t©p industries yet.
She c@m£ down with her things and we entered into my car and left.
We together entered into the office, got into the elevator and waited for our floor. I quic-kly stole a glance at her and in between every 10 mins. She stood at the left corner while I stood at the right.
When people were entering from the other floors I moved and stood beside her.
I didn’t want anyone crushing her like last time and hence I always make sure to stand next to her. I should really change the team working on my pri-vate elevator as it still seems to have some issue.
When we reached our floor, I waited for her to first step out and then followed her. She went into her cabin and resumed her work, while I went inside my cabin and rested on my chair.
Now I feel like a hvge weight is lifted off from my shoulders.
It’s great to have my PA back and I smiled while thinking about it.
Felt like I won a battle!

Episode 12
Scarlet’s Pov~
“Taylor!” I am home after work and am so happy that I nee-d to share all the details happened today with my best friend.
“You wouldn’t believe what happened today. Where are you?” I placed my bag down near to the table beside my be-d and I heard her voice coming over from across her room.
“In here, I am taking shower. I will be out in a minute!” She c@m£ out in her bathrobe and I smiled at her while sitting on her be-d, facing her.
“You look so damn happy. Did you find a guy or something?” She asked while rummaging throu-gh her closet for her favorite baggy red T-shi-t.
“No silly! Today I rejoined Pearce Industries.”
“What?” She st©pped searching for her shi-t and turned around to look at me.
“Yes. Alexander c@m£ by today at my office and apologized for what he did. He also offered me a double pay and asked me to rejoin as his PA.
Lorry I just couldn’t believe he c@m£ by and asked me to come back. And you know what? This was the second time he apologized to me. I just couldn’t say No to him. Besides Pearce Industries is a dream job and who wouldn’t want to work there.”
“He really did that?” She asked me with a grin on her face.
“Yes.”
“I knew he will make things better, took some time to put some s-en-se into his head.”
“Taylor what are you saying?” I asked with confusion.
“Oh nothing at all, Scarlet I am so happy for you. Wait let me get my shi-t on and let’s celebr@te.” She got back to searching for her t-shi-t and I headed to my room for taking a quic-k shower.
After a while we just talked about few things of our works while preparing dinner.
Dinner was done and we were just watching a movie on Romedy Now
I was checking up on my cell,
Ding Ding!
A new message flashed onto my screen and I cli-cked on it.

I re-ad the text and unknowingly a smile crept across my face. Then all I did was rere-ad the text like 10 times.
Taylor fell asleep on the couch itself so I brou-ght a blanket and placed over her. She snuggled up more and sle-pt off well. I was on my be-d with my mind full of thoughts regarding one man.
Even when I close my eyes, I can see his perfect face and piercing green eyes looking into mine with an intensity which cannot be explained in words but felt heavily, giving me goosebu-mps on my entire b©dy. That man is…..

Scarlet’s Pov~
“Sir…I have got…” The do¢v-ments sli-pped and fell down from both my hands. I’m stunned with what I am seeing in front of me right now.
Alexander is sitting on his table; a red brunette haired girl is on his l@p. Her legs are hooked around his h!ps; he is supporting her with his hands across her w@!st.
She is wearing a very short velvet black dress with thin stra-ps. But she is half n-ked right now; her n-ked back is facing me. Her hair is messy,l-ips are swollen, sweating as hell and p@n-ting as if she choked up something.
On the other hand he is sitting there with a sm-irk on his face. un-bu-ttoned shi-t,l-ipstick marks on his cheek.
His hairs are all messy and his piercing green eyes are shiny with dilated pupils. Gosh he is showing off the be-droom eyes effect.
How can he do this?
Why am I so affected?
What is wrong with me?
It feels like my heart is getting constricted, I am not able to breath. Looking at him like this….with someone else. It’s like a thorn got pricked into my heart. I felt tears running down my cheeks.
I took a de-ep breath, before he could say anything I moved out from his cabin, closing the door r0ûghly and I sli-pped.
Thudd!!!!
Aaaghh!!!
O god!! My as-s. Oww. It hurts.
I slowly opened my eyes; beads of sweat were formed on my forehead. I wiped it away with my right hand and got up.
Then I realized it was just a dream. But why did i dream something like that? I have no idea and its disturbing me.
Oh thank god!! It was just a dream. I whispered to myself.
I got up stretched my arms and glanced at my clock.
$h!t!
Now all I could see was that-
It’s alre-ady 8:00 am.
I am late.
So quic-kly I rushed to the bathroom, took shower and did all the other necessary things. In 30 minutes I somehow managed to do all, including dressing up.
I was re-ady. But, I am really disturbe-d with the morning dream.
Pushing away all the thoughts regarding the dream, I reached office at sharp – 9 am.
I gr@bb£d two coffee mugs and rest of the items from cafeteria and placed one in my cabin and the other one in his cabin.
He has not yet reached office. I am glad that I am here before him.
Just when I was about to leave, he entered and seeing him right then I remembered the dream.
He was waving his hand in front of me.
“Hey! Back to earth Scarlet. Is everything okay?” He looked at me with concern.
If only I knew, I wish I could know what’s wrong with me?
“Yes Sir. I am sorry for spacing out like that.”
“Uh-uh. Before you leave, I nee-d to tell you that, I have a meeting with Mr. Lorenz Rosario at 2 pm so plea-se make a note of it and remind me as well. Okay.”
I gave a small nod in response, left the cabin and completely focused on the work.
While I was doing a few important works given by Alexander, a man entered into my cabin without knocking and I looked up at him.
He was tall, had de-ep sea blue eyes, pale skin and dark brown hair. I think he is in his thirties and he was wearing a white suit looking all perfect and absolutely handsome.
“Hello there.” He had a thick accent.
“Hi.” I greeted him politely and he settled down on one of the chairs.
“So you are his new PA….mmm I must say, your gorgeous.
Ah! Sorry forgot about introducing me, Maximo Rosario. And may I know your name Caro?”
Maximo Rosario. Who is he? His name does sound familiar though. What’s Caro?
I thought to myself but I replied to what he just asked me.
“I am Scarlet Reeves.”
He smiled and lifted my right hand from the desk and gave a feather light k!sswhile looking at me and said,
“It’s a plea-sure to meet you Scarlet.” He said in a husky voice. I bet girls must be swooning over him because of that accent, husky voice and handsome looks.
He has got very lethal combinations to easily get girls flock around him.
“Scarlet.” Mr. Pearce c@m£ in, he was staring at my hand first, and then he looked up at me and the new person with me.
Seeing him I instantly stood up but my right hand is still held by Mr. Rosario.
“Maximo what are you doing here? It was informed to me that Lorenz is coming here to meet me.” Alexander said while coming forward and stood next to me. Mr. Rosario left my hand and shoved his hand in front to shake it with Alexander.
“Lorenz is stuck with another work so he s£nds me instead. I hope its fine with you. You don’t have to worry we will do good business together.” Mr. Rosario said smiling while looking at me.
I just smiled back and then I remembered Alexander had alre-ady informed me that he is having a meeting today with Mr. Lorenz Rosario, so he is his brother.
“Okay then let’s discuss the things in my cabin. It is this way, come along with me.” Alexander said to him and they headed towards the CEO cabin.
Before leaving Alexander turned towards to me and said,
“Don’t transfer any calls while I am with him, make a note of it. And arrange two cu-p of coffee and let Charlie bring in the coffee. You don’t have to come inside my cabin. Got it?”
“Okay I got it.” I replied immediately instead of asking any further questions. I did s£nd the coffee in, by the hands of Charlie and continued with my work.
After an hour, their discussions were done and Mr. Rosario left.
I was having a lot of work to do, so I just proceeded with ma-king calls to arrange meetings and all.
Then most importantly there is a charity event coming up which is organized by Taylor’s parents. And so I nee-d to give him the invitation letter.
So I pu-ll-ed out the invitation card from my left drawer and headed towards his cabin.
I knocked once and I just entered his cabin. It’s a Deja vu…. kind of, almost like my dream.
He was in the middle of a pas-sionate k!sswith a girl, holding her across from her w@!st. Her back is facing me so I can’t see her face. But her brown hair is short and has a medium height. I interrupted their k!ss, as he saw me and pushed the girl aside.
No words were coming out from my mouth. Heart was pounding fas-ter and I felt hurt. All I did was, run away from them.
I don’t want to see
