Richa-rd was confused for some moment, not sure of what to do
Like his br@in took a leave of abs£nce
He stared at her unconscious b©dy which has only a towel wra-pped around it
“Richa-rd plea-se snap out of it” he thought
He called on the maids and they entered rushing
They took her from him and ra-pidly wore something quic-k on her b©dy
He took her from them and took her downstairs in his arms, he gently put her in the car as fast as possible before driving off to the hospital…
She was quic-kly taken away from him on a stretcher
“plea-se save my boss. You have to save her plea-se… nothing must happen to her I beg you..” Richa-rd rambled as he ran along with the stretcher
She was taken into a ward and the door shut
He had to stay at the corridor and hope for the best
I should call Pinky” he thought
” But she’ll still be in school, ok let’s call Mrs White” he thought
He dialled her number
She picked after three rings
*Richa-rd son, why are you…
“Madam I’m sorry for disturbing you but there is a problem, boss suddenly fainted, bleeding from the nose and mouth” he rushed
” What!” Evelyn screamed
” Yes ma’am, we’re currently at the family hospital, I had to rush her here” he said impatiently
“calm down Richa-rd , I know that doctors would have been attending to her right now” Evelyn said
” Yes madam” he replied shakily
“I can even feel your fidget over the phone, calm down, take a chill pill Richa-rd , she’ll be fine, and I’ll be there with my husband in a jiffy” Evelyn replied
He hanged up and sighed
“Good Lord plea-se, save her” he prayed

“She took a br@nd of wine that’s too dangerous for her system,the wine contains a fruit she’s allergic to…I told you she’s allergic to gr@p£s but why must she take a wine that contains gr@p£s as the main ingredient?” The doctor said immediately Evelyn showed up with Mr White
“Oh my God!, That must be The Nobles wine, I told her former secretary to take out all the supply of that wine away from her office cellar but i guess she fired the secretary before the secretary can do it, and I forgot to tell the new secretary about it” Mr White said
” You forgot?, When you’re the one who knows best about her workers, you should have been telling them about her allergy to gr@p£s immediately you recruit new ones , my God!, I can’t believe you forgot such a thing, you claimed you love her, so this is it” Evelyn said in anger
” I’m so sorry, I was…
” Thanks doctor, thanks so much for saving her, anyways how’s she doing now?’ Evelyn asked
“She’s stable now, and her vitals are ok too, she’ll wake up later today cos right now we’re still transfusing her with blood, she lost much blood… make sure this never happens again, who knows how much more she might bleed, and it’s dangerous” doctor warned
“it’s ok doctor Wilson, we’ll be more cautious” Mr White replied
” Can we go check on her now?” Evelyn asked
” Sure, over there” doctor Wilson replied, pointing at her ward
He left shortly
Evelyn faced Richa-rd who has been listening all along
“I really don’t know how to thank you, I really appreciate what you did for her though you know she doesn’t deserve it” she said
” No madam, don’t say that , she’s my boss and…
“And she doesn’t deserve it, that should be your next line…but you’re too kind hearted, who knows what would have happened if you aren’t there” Evelyn said, smiling
” It’s worth it” Richa-rd replied
“Thanks for… saving her” Mr White said
Richa-rd bowed
“can you stay with her till evening?, We still have things to attend to at the office” Evelyn said
” Sure madam” he replied
They left and he stared at the ward door, unable to enter
If he does and she wakes up to find him beside her, she might just decapitate him…
He sat at the reception throu-ghout

Pinky smiled althrou-gh her Walk back to clas-s
To her, his smile is the cutest in the world
It reveals those dimples anytime he does and she can’t help but fall at first sight
She fell on her seat beside Riley who kept giving her questioning looks
“St©p looking at me like that” she said jokingly
” Ok, just tell me why you look happy” Riley said
” Ok ok, I… forget it, it’s nothing serious” she replied, still smiling
” You want me to believe that when Gianna is busy giving you devilish looks right now?” Riley said
Pinky looked sidewards and truly, she caught Gianna looking at her like she wants to strangle her
She returned the look and even cursed her with a smile
Gianna looked away and she sm-irked…
Drake entered the clas-s Immediately and the girls g@sped just like they did when he first entered the clas-s in the morning
He sat calmly
“Listen everyone!” Gianna shouted, ban-ging her hand on her table, standing up
She looked over at Pinky and sm-irked
The students went quite, the devil is about to speak
“Pinky White, I hope you don’t get on my nerves this term, if you do, I’m gonna report you to my mother” Gianna said proudly
“so this is how she is” Drake thought, looking at Pinky with great interest, anticipating what she’ll do
Pinky laughed hysterically like it’s funny
She made to stand and speak too but Riley held her hand
“plea-se” Riley whispered
Pinky took her hand from Riley and stood up
She walked up to Gianna’s seat and c@m£ face to face with her
“Ion care if your mum is the principal or not, if you get on my nerves too, I’ll treat your fv¢k!” She spat
Drake smiled at that
” I like people who have guts like her” he thought
” You’re crossing your boundaries’ Gianna said
Pinky smiled
“I love crossing my boundaries, it’s my greatest hobby, but in your case, ion think there’s a boundary to cross at all, cos you’ve always been a bit-ch, right from when I’ve known you, you’ve always been a twerp, and I hate you more” Pinky said seriously
It’s like Gianna’s ton-gue is tied, she found nothing to say again
“We’ve gotten to the cli-max, now let’s see who’ll make the first move, it’s always Gianna, but pinky is always re-ady” Riley thought
And it’s true, Gianna tried to gr-ab pinky by her hair but Pinky caught her hand and squee-zed it ha-rd
“Aarrghgggggghhhh!” Gianna cried out in pains
“You know I’ll always be the boss no matter what, but you always chose to suffer cos you’re s-en-seless” Pinky said, still holding her hand ti-ght
Drake stood up Immediately and separated them, taking Gianna away from Pinky’s grip
Gianna breathed heavily as pinky let her go
“Thanks for saving me from this witch” Gianna said
” I didn’t save you, I just hate scenes like this” he replied and looked at Pinky who’s breathing heavily
” Are you ok?” He asked
The whole clas-s g@sped
Pinky smiled
” Yes I am, thanks” she replied before going back to her seat
Drake made to sit but Gianna held him
“If anyone should be asked that question at all, that should be me, it was my hand she squee-zed” she said, close to tears
” You don’t deserve to be asked that question cos you started it, excuse me” Drake replied and took his hand from her before sitting down
The whole clas-s shouted and everyone admired Pinky and Drake

Drake looked over at Pinky and found her staring alre-ady, he win-ked and smiled, revea-ling the dimples again
She almost went Gaga
“All for me?, Gosh!”
Closing hour***
Gianna took her bag and left the clas-s first
Drake never bothered to ask why
“Hey bro” someone said, offering an handshake, he looked up at him and he turned out to be Bentley, one of his street friends
“Bentley?, What are you doing here” he asked
“Is anyone asked what they’re doing in their school?” Bentley said
” OMG you attend Elite too?, And you’re in this clas-s?”
” Sure, I see the way you turned the clas-s hero on your first day, you’ve managed to capture the heart of our clas-s prettiest girl, and at the same time, you put Gianna in her place” Bentley said
” Who’s the clas-s prettiest…
“Obviously Pinky, even a blind person will smell her beauty” Bentley replied and Drake smiled
“I can’t believe we’re in the same clas-s and I didn’t notice you, but you should have told me” Drake said
” Now you know” Bentley said
” Sure, come here” Drake said, hvgging him
“Hey” Pinky said from behind
They broke the hvg and Drake faced her with a smile
” Hey, going home alre-ady?” He asked
“Sure, so I’ll see you tomorrow” Pinky replied
“Say hi to my brother for me” he waved
” Sure, see ya” she replied with that pretty smile before leaving
” She’s really pretty” Drake said
“One thing I admire her for ap@rt from her beauty is that she’s different from her sister or other Rick kids, she doesn’t draw any line between the rich and poor, they’re one for her” Bentley said
” That brings the question, how did you get into this school?, Last time I checked, your mum runs a pork restaurant” Drake said.
” That’s story for another day, let’s quic-kly go catch the bus” Bentley replied , pu-lling Drake along…

Pinky drove home with her driver, smiling althrou-gh
“He gave me that charming smile, he’s so cute, whoa!” Her heart shouted
She held her che-st,her heart is beating fast at the thought of him
She smiled again
“Gianna,that witch, I can’t wait to see what drama she’ll perform tommorow, I’m re-ady anyways” she thought
Her phone beeped,a message
She checked , it’s from Richa-rd
*You should have closed in school by now, just wanted to tell you that no one is at home, I’m at the family hospital with boss, she lost consciousness and I had to rush her here, she’s recovering now anyways*
“fv¢k!, That daft sister of mine must have taken gr@p£s again, when will she ever listen” Pinky thought and told the driver to drive to the hospital
She got there and rushed in, meeting Richa-rd at the reception
“Why aren’t you in her ward?”
“You know how she is…by the way, she fainted cos she drank wine that has gr@p£s as one of it’s ingredients, she bled a lot and….
Pinky hvgged him immediately
“Thanks for saving my sister, I’m really grateful, where’s her ward?” She said
He pointed at it and she ran there
Pinky opened the ward and met her awake alre-ady, the blood transfusion ended alre-ady
“Dummy!, Why will you take wine that has gr@p£s content” Pinky snapped
“idiot, I never knew gr@p£s is one of the content, and besides, I thought all the wine containing that would have been disposed by my former secretary, seems he didn’t get to do that before the firing” she replied
“lucky you , if Richa-rd wasn’t there, you could have died” Pinky said
” Where’s him?, Where’s Richa-rd ?” She asked urgently
” At the reception, he doesn’t want to come in,you might just devour him if he does” pinky replied
Snow got off her be-d immediately
” Where are you going to?” Pinky asked
She never answered
Snow rushed out of the ward and stood by the door, watching Richa-rd where he’s sitting
Richa-rd saw her and stood
“Boss” he whispered
She walked up to him
“Are you ok now?, Does anywhere still hurt?, What about your tummy?, Do you still feel any pain?” He asked loads of questions with concern on his face as he did
She can’t help but feel bad
“I’ve always been a bit-ch to him but look at him getting worried about me” she thought, looking at him intently
” Boss are you….
She hvgged him immediately
Richa-rd was caught by surprise but when he saw it’s for real, he hvgged her back
“I’m glad you’re ok, too glad” he said
“Thanks for saving me, thanks so much Richa-rd ” Snow said, ti-ght£ñing the hvg
Pinky watched from the ward doorstep and smiled

Next morning**
“I hope you now know that commoners are humans too, don’t tell me it was an animal who saved you yesterday” Evelyn said during breakfast
Snow kept mute
Richa-rd c@m£ out of the kitchen with his food and head out to eat outside
“Where are you going?” Pinky asked
“I think I know, Snow must have told him not to eat in this house” Evelyn said
” The last time I tried that,I ended up hearing heartbreaking story about my family” Richa-rd replied
Snow felt swept up with guilt
She stood and walked up to him
She took the food from him
“I’ll eat this,you can come eat my food” she said
” No you can’t…
“Shhhh, don’t disagree, plea-se” she begged
He hesitated before walking up to the dinning table
He sat where she was sitting earlier and she took her seat beside him
They all ate together and minutes later, Mr White and Evelyn left for work after strictly warning Snow not to go to work today
Ok, Snow manages her parents investment company but they also have other companies ap@rt from it so Mr White and Evelyn still work, just to exercise
Pinky left for school too, leaving only the two of them at home
The doorbell rang
“I ordered barbeque, it must be the one” Snow said
“I’ll go get it” Richa-rd replied and got money from her wallet, he payed the man and took in the barbeque
“Whoa!, I can now have some fv¢king barbeque!” She shouted, unsealing the package, revea-ling it
She made to di-p her hand into it directly but Richa-rd held it
“I’m sorry but you must wash your hands before di-pping it into it” he said
He took her hand and placed in it a small bowl, pouring some water in it, he rinsed her hand, ru-bbing his hand on it in the process
That s£nt bu-tterflies down her stomach and it’s kinda tickling her
She smiled, watching him do it with full concentration
“Richa-rd , why do you have to be so handsome?, Why do you have to always make my heart flutter since your arrival?, Why?” She asked herself
Why do you make me always forget my watchward about commoners?
Why am I always longing to see your face?
Why do you always make my heart thump?
These are the loads of questions she kept asking herself as Richa-rd washed her hand
He finished rinsing her hand and wiped it with a clean table napkin
“You can now eat” he said
She smiled before starting to eat
He just watched
She’s even careless while eating, she has stains of it on herl-ips alre-ady
“Mind having some?” She asked
“No, ion fancy barbeque” he replied
She wanted to resume eating but he st©pped her
“Yourl-ips” he said
He took some tissue and wiped herl-ips with it, as his hand made contact with herl-ips, she seems to lose control of herself
What her b©dy wants took over her
She held his hand and looked de-eply at him
She stood facing him, still not letting go of his hand
“Boss….
” Shhhh” she hushed, placing her f!nger on hisl-ips
Richa-rd doesn’t seem to un-derstand
She raised her hand to his face and it made contact with his cheek
Richa-rd swallowed ha-rd as she did
She stared at his temptingl-ips and gulped nothing
Her palpitations increa-sed
She pu-ll-ed him closer
“Boss I don’t…..
She took hisl-ips in before he can finish that s£ntence…
