Snow staggered into the house that night and almost fell but got a hold of herself
Pinky c@m£ downstairs with her mum
“drun!kas usual, don’t bother guiding her upstairs, it’ll be a good thing if she falls” Evelyn said
“I’m not even re-ady to guide her upstairs in the first place” Pinky replied as they both hanged their arms across their che-sts, looking at Snow
“By the way, why is your driver not with you?, Your dad told the maid to prepare the driver’s room alre-ady” Evelyn said
” I s£nt him home” Snow replied carelessly
” What! ” Evelyn and Pinky exclaimed at the same time
“A Commoner can’t possibly sleep in the same house with me” Snow replied, yawning and sitting on the couch regally despite her half_drun!kstate
“What have you done Snow what have you done!, We all know that it’s not safe out there at night” Evelyn said, fidgeting
” If anything should happen to Richa-rd , I promise I won’t take it lightly with you, I swear it” Pinky said and gr@bb£d her phone
” Oh no, I don’t even have his number” she thought and stumped her foot on the ground
Evelyn’s phone rang immediately
“It’s Caro” she said before picking
“Madam, is Richa-rd given a place at your house?, Is he slee-ping over?, His mum has been worried” Caro said over the phone
“Oh … Yes, he’s , he’s slee-ping over, don’t worry about him” Evelyn replied
“Oh thanks, goodnight madam”
Evelyn hanged up fearfully
“He’s not at home?” Pinky asked
“Yes he’s not, he’s not home yet”
” Then why did you tell her that he’s here, he’s not here either, we might get in trouble” Pinky said
“it doesn’t matter now, we have to find him” Evelyn said
” It’s alre-ady 12pm, don’t be silly mum” Snow said in her sitting position and that was replied with a sl@p on her face from Evelyn
The sl@p cleared everything off her face and she spranged up immediately
“Mum!” She ranted, holding her face as tears rushed out
Evelyn raised her hand to sl@p her again but someone suddenly held it from behind, it’s Mr White…
“When did you get here?” Pinky asked, disappointed that Snow didn’t get the second sl@p
“Why would you hit my daughter by this time of the night? ” Mr White demanded
” Mind you, we might all be slee-ping in the police custody tomorrow, can you believe this girl right here s£nt her driver home as late as ten pm? ” Evelyn said angrily
Even Mr White looks shocked
“Now Snow, why would you do that?, It’s dangerous out there” he said
” But a Commoner can’t…
“St©p mentioning commoner if you don’t want another sl@p! ” Evelyn said loudly
“mum hates me”. Snow said tearfully
” I wish you can get five more sl@ps, rude br@t” Pinky remarked
” And now Caro Called to tell me Richa-rd ‘s mum has been disturbing her with calls about her son, she said he’s not home yet” Evelyn said
” Calm down, I just have to contact my search squad, he’ll be found whenever he is” Mr White replied and took his phone

Richa-rd was dragged into a building after the car st©pped in front of it, the blood from the wounded head is still gushing profusely and by now, his clothes is we-t with blood,
he’s conscious by now but in great pains
He was made to kneel with his hands tied to his back and a chair was placed in front of him
The guys left and minutes later, someone c@m£ out of nowhere in the building, he saw strands of white hair as the effect of the burning fire in the building caught it
“White hair?, At the club?” He asked himself as the guy Sat in front of him
It’s indeed him, the guy he beat up at the club cos of Snow
He laughed mockingly for a while before looking at him at the face very well
“br@ve guy” he said and started laughing again
Richa-rd kept kneeling , looking at him occasionally
“It’s a pity you don’t know who I am before jumping to fl!pme, I’ll do a little bit of introduction, I’m Liam, the leader of all the boys gang in this vicinity, and you dare mess with me cos of a bloody girl, how disrespectful” Liam said and gave Richa-rd a punch on the face, he fell down flat and blood c@m£ out of his mouth and nose
Liam stood up
“But unfortunately you’re so weak,very weak that I pity you,I won’t kill you now but I might kill you later, dispose him guys” Liam ordered and the guys c@m£ in again, they took him into the car and drove off to where they abducted him earlier
They dumped him there and left him in pains

“Call them again” Pinky said to her dad
They’ve actually s£nt the search squad and are waiting for answers
Mr White picked his phone and is about to call when a call c@m£ in from them
“Any news?” He asked
“Yes sir, we found him just beside the road not far from your place, but his condition is quiet not good”
“How ?”
“We’re about to come, you’ll have to see for yourself sir”
“Ok ”
He hanged up and looked over at Snow
The phone is on loud speaker so everyone heard
Snow turned her eyes down
“Just let them bring him and that’s when I’ll know what to say” Evelyn said
” See what you’ve caused Snow, you heard it right when they said he’s not in a good condition, I hate you Snow, I hate you” Pinky said and started crying
Snow acted like she cares less , not until the door opened and Richa-rd was taken in with clothes full of blood, he’s wearing a white shi-t so the blood is very glaring
His face is covered with blood too and his cheeks is swollen
Snow’s eyes wi-de-ned,
She covered her mouth in shock
“What the fv¢k!, Who did this!” She said and bent down beside him as he was layed on the ground
” Oh my God this is terrible” Evelyn said
“I can’t forgive you for this Snow, see what they did to him all because of your silliness” Pinky said, crying more
” Pinky st©p crying, he’s not dead you know, it’s almost one, I don’t know if doctor Ramsey…
“Just call him alre-ady!, Tell him we have a very critical case here” Evelyn interrupted Mr White
He took his phone and dialled his number
“He’ll be here in a jiffy with materials to treat him with” Mr White said
“I’m glad” Pinky replied , wiping her tears
“So he bec@m£ like this cos of me?, My God what have I done, I don’t want anyone to think I caused his death” Snow thought and a small tear escaped her right eye but she quic-kly wiped it as doctor Ramsey c@m£ in
He was quic-kly attended to on the floor and all the bloodstains were cleaned off his b©dy after his clothes has been cut off with scissors
His head was treated and bandaged though there are still bloodstains on the bandage
“Take him to Snow’s room, Snow will have to watch over him and take care of him pending the time he’ll be ok, or better still, you can sleep in the visitor’s room” Evelyn ordered
“what!, Mum I can’t…
“Your opinion is not nee-ded and you’re not allowed to talk” Evelyn interrupted
” But Evelyn…” Mr White said
“Your opinion is not nee-ded too” Evelyn interrupted again
“I love that momma, but won’t that be a little harsh on Richa-rd ?, I mean the room is…
“Finish that and I’ll throw something you won’t like at you” Snow interrupted, Pinky glared at her
” but doctor, he’s ok now right?” Pinky asked
” Oh yes, he’ll wake up soon, the wound is not so de-ep” doctor replied
He left at past one
Pinky left to her room to sleep for the rest of the night
Evelyn retired to be-d with her husband
“Like seriously?” Snow said as she entered her room
Seeing Richa-rd on her be-d is so painful
“Snow you’re suffering, a Commoner on your be-d, oh my God?!!” She shouted and ban-ged at her door in frustration
“I can’t sleep in same room with a driver, a Commoner, I’d rather sleep in one of the visitor’s rooms” she thought and gr@bb£d a pillow
She thought of pushing him off the be-d but no,
“Mum might come at any time” she thought
She’s alre-ady going out with the pillow when she turned back again
“I can’t possibly leave my precious room!” She remarked and hit her fist on the wall in frustration
She got a chair and sat beside unconscious Richa-rd
He’s still shi-tless and immediately her eyes c@m£ close with his che-st, the abs are just h0t!
He has a gorgeous b©dy, too gorgeous for a Commoner like him, and an handsome face too, he’s too handsome to be a guy, he should have come as a girl, he’ll be beautiful, he’s just perfect and flawless, even in his slee-ping position, he’s cute!
“Oh my God what am I thinking!” Snow said quietly and pinched herself

But it’s not working

” Why do I keep feeling like everything is not fine with him, he should have called” Drake said this morning as he helped his mom pack the goods into the van
It’s Saturday and on Saturdays, Drake follow her to the market
“Just say you’re not comfortable with how you’re the only one packing the goods into the van, weak boy” Daniella replied and smiled
” I’m not weak I’m just..
“Ok Mr prophet, enough of the prophetic session, he’s fine, just be optimistic will you?” Daniella interrupted
” Ok mum” he replied
A car st©pped in front of the house and out of it c@m£ two men dressed in suit

“Is this the house of Drake?” One of them asked
“Drake what?” Drake asked, trying to catch some humour
” Don’t be silly, yes it is, and here is Drake, hope no problem?” Daniella asked
One of them walked back to the car and c@m£ back with a box
“It’s from Mrs Montreal, she’s admitting you as a student of Elite high school” he said, pointing the box at Drake
His ears behaved like they’re not his
His eyes wi-de-ned
“Don’t tell me this is the handsome reward Gianna was talking about, OMG!” He exclaimed and jumped up thrice before happily taking the box
“We’ll be expecting you at Elite on Monday, the uniform is right in the box, you’ll be given the books once you resume on Monday and you don’t have to pay the fees, it’s all on Principal Montreal”
” My God!, This is too good to be true, isn’t it the girl you told me you saved?” Daniella asked happily

“Come here lucky boy” Daniella said and hvgged him

“when he wakes up, I’m gonna be the first one he sees, better cover your face till I’ll be back” Pinky said as she took her cu-p out of Snow’s room to drop in the kitchen
“It’s not ma-king s-en-se at all, at all, I didn’t sleep last night all because of him, Snow are you sure you’re ok?” Snow asked herself and made pitiful faces as she stood up from the chair she’s sitting on
Richa-rd gr@bb£d her hand
“Is he crazy or something?* Snow asked herself and tried to break free but he held ti-ght
“Mum, where do you think you’re going?, I’m not ok yet, can’t you stay and not go to the market today, plea-se” he said, still closing his eyes
Snow gave him killer glances
He opened his eyes when he got no answer and that’s when he saw it’s Snow
He quic-kly let go of her hand
“Boss!”
“Do I look like your mother?, Damn!” Snow said
” I’m sorry but…
He looked around the room
“Am I in an un-derwear shop?” He asked
“What do you mean?” Snow demanded
” I mean,the br@s, p@n-ts, singlets and all others hanging around, one is even here” Richa-rd said and brou-ght out a br@ from un-der the sheets
Snow’s eyes wi-de-ned
She hasn’t even thought of it…
“Noo!!, Give me that!” She shouted and jumped on the be-d, he fell back on the be-d as a result of her weight and she c@m£ on t©p of him, she snatched the br@ away from him
Richa-rd smiled at his boss’s silliness and that smile did it all, she kept staring at him for what looks like forever
“How can a Commoner be so handsome?” She thought
Pinky c@m£ in and leaned on the door when she saw the scene
“Mum! Dad!, Snow is trying to s£dûç£Richa-rd !!!” She shouted at the t©p of her voice…
