“Why is Snow not home yet?” Mr White asked Pinky over dinner
“I’m not sure” Pinky replied over a mouthful of food
” She’s unusually late to come home today” Mr White said again
“Did I just hear you say unusually late?” Mrs White intervened
” I mean from work” Mr White replied
” Better, cos Snow always comes home late from the darn clubhouse she visits, I don’t just know…
“Mum, just sit down and eat, she might have just gone to the club straight from work, st©p wasting your efforts” Pinky said
” Yes daughter, you’re right, I should take a chill pill, Snow isn’t worth it” Mrs White replied
She sat and ate
Almost immediately, Snow barged into the house with her shoes in hand, looking so tired
“What happened?, Did you change your mind about slee-ping in the pig farm?” Pinky said
Snow looked at her somehow before di-pping her hand into her bag, she brou-ght out a table knife
“I’ll kill you and bury you myself”
Snow said seriously and c@m£ after Pinky who stood and ran behind her mum
“Come closer and you’ll have yourself to blame, what has come over you!” Mrs White said angrily
“I told her to s£nd me her driver to pick me up but she declined, this br@t declined, and I had to trek home, I trekked home, can you imagine” Snow said
“I did nothing wrong,I only suggested for you to sleep in the pig farm since it’ll be….
“Shut up!” Snow interrupted and made to attack her behind her mum.
“it’s even better you trekked, that’ll teach you some lessons, you sacked your driver again didn’t you?” Mrs White said
” Mum…
“And don’t you dare t©uçh my Pinky, you can go use the knife on your dad” Mrs White said and Pinky giggled behind her
” Did you just really say that?” Mr White said
“Yes, and I mean it, and you better not tell me trash about getting another driver, I won’t get you one, you should trek to work for weeks maybe you’ll learn your learn some lessons” Mrs White said seriously and Snow cried like a baby
“No mum you can’t do that to me, dad talk to her will you?” She said
Pinky kept giggling at the back of her mum
” Hey Evelyn, you can’t do that to your daughter you know” Mr White said
“I don’t care” she replied and went upstairs
“I’ll talk to her” Mr White said and patted Snow before going upstairs right after her wife
“Good for you!” Pinky said and win-ked at Snow before running upstairs too
“Why is everyone frustrating my life!” She gr-unted loudly

” Ok I’m sorry on her behalf, you nee-d to forgive her as your daughter at least and find her another driver, plea-se Evelyn” Mr White pleaded to his wife when it’s be-dtime
“it isn’t gonna work and don’t interrupt my sleep so go to be-d” Evelyn replied and covered herself with the duvet, not re-ady to listen anymore
“Dear, are you really serious?, Evelyn?” Mr White called but Evelyn kept mute

“if you know you want another driver, go beg mum, simple” Pinky said to Snow who c@m£ to her room for advice
” Really?, Beg?, I haven’t really begged anyone before” Snow replied
” I know, but it’s for a tangible reason this time so do it, if you know you nee-d another driver, you know it’s mum who has connection with madam Caro the workers director” Pinky said
” Ok, will you follow me to beg her plea-se?” Snow asked
“you alre-ady know my answer big sis, it’s a big no” Pinky replied and gr@bb£d her books
” I’m off to the mini libr@ry, I nee-d to do my remaining as-signment” she said
She left her
” Oh God!, I’ve never begged before” Snow lamented as she walked to her parents room
She got there and knocked but no one is answering
By now, they’re fast asleep
But after two knocks, they woke up
“Who’s that?, Pinky?” Evelyn said
“No mum, it’s Snow” she replied
“What the heck are you doing here?, Go back” she replied from inside
” No mummy, plea-se forgive me I’m sorry, I won’t do it again but plea-se just get me another driver, I promise not to fire him again this time around” she pleaded vehemently
” She’s pleading, just do it for her, she’s your daughter” Mr White said
Evelyn gave him one weird look before lying down on the be-d again, deciding to ignore Snow
“Evelyn plea-se, ok if you can’t recruit a new driver for her, then give me madam Caro’s number, I’ll just do it” Mr White pleaded
“mum plea-se huh!” Snow begged from outside again
“Evelyn your daughter is begging you” Mr White said again but she didn’t answer
He picked his phone and texted Snow
Snow’s phone beeped on her hand
She checked, it’s a message from her dad

Snow smiled before clearing her throu-gh
She started crying loudly, so loud that even Pinky is disturbe-d in the libr@ry
“I wish she’s not my sister” she thought before using her headphones
“Oh no, why did she have to start doing this” Evelyn said, getting up from the be-d
She took her phone
“Will you st©p crying and let me make the call” she said
Snow st©pped
Evelyn dialled Caro’s number
Good evening ma’am, hope everything is ok? Caro said on the phone
*Sure, sorry if I disturbe-d your sleep” Evelyn replied
“No ma’am, I’m not complaining”
“Ok, get me another driver for Snow tommorow morning plea-se, she did it again”
“Madam ,…
“I’ll double the salary of this one, and it’ll be the last one, I promise, if she fires this one again, then she’ll have to trek to work”
“I get that, I’ll s£nd one tomorrow morning unfailingly”
“Thanks ”
Evelyn hanged up
“Satisfied now?, Can you plea-se leave my door and go to your room” she said loudly
” Mum I love you!, You’re the best!, Goodnight!” Snow shouted and rushed to her room
” Thanks dear” Mr White said
” You and your daughter, I dunno what to say” Evelyn replied before slee-ping again

Daniella is about to sleep tonight when her phone rang, it’s a call from Caro, her best friend, she picked
“Hey Caro”
“A good news is what I called to give, you know Mrs White daughter that I always tell you about?, The one who fires anyhow?”
“What about her?” Daniella asked
“She fired her driver and is in nee-d of a driver, why don’t you let Richa-rd go for it?”
“No , you told me how worse she is, we might be poor but we still have self dignity, and what as-surance do you have that she won’t fire him after a week?, You told me she hates commoners and nothing satisfies her”
“I know but this time around, her strict mum has said if she fires this one again, then she’s not re-ady to hire another one, that’s a bonus, and also…the pay will be doubled, ten dollars to twenty dollars”
“You don’t mean it!”
“I’m serious, the more reason why you should let Richa-rd go for it, it’ll really help you”
“The whites mansion right?, He’ll be there early tomorrow morning”
“Ok friend, just instruct him to be careful around her and not do anything to annoy her, she’s quite easy to annoy especially if you’re a Commoner”

Gabriella hanged up and rushed out to the boys room

Daniella sighed softly before taking her seat
“There’s actually a job”

“Yes, a driving job, you have to start driving Snow White, the first daughter of Mr White,that popular investor” she said

” Yes, the pay is actually what attra-cted me, twenty dollars per month” Daniella said

” So Drake, how is Havana high school treating you?” Daniella asked
“Manageable, though we don’t have enough teachers for some subjects but I’ll just re-ad to cover them, I wish I can go to schools like Elite high, my dream school” Drake replied
” You don’t have to worry, you’re alre-ady in your final year, you’ll soon get out of Havana and with everything I have, you’ll go to college” Gabriella said

” Why is the driver not here yet?, I plan to go to work very early this morning?” Snow said impatiently, waiting beside one of her cars
“Mum is just too kind to give you another driver, if you fire this one, then no driver for you for the rest of your life” Pinky said, coming out of the house with her backpack, re-ady for school
” Shut up” Snow said
“So now you can tell me to shut up?, I’m your helper, ingrate” Pinky replied

” It’s Chloe” Snow said
“Birds of the same feather” Pinky muttered as Chloe got out of her car
” Hey babe, I c@m£ to pick you up, my driver will drop you at your workplace” Chloe said
” Don’t worry baby, my new driver will soon be here” Snow replied
“Oh you got a new driver alre-ady? ” Chloe said
” Yes, I don’t just know why he’s not here alre-ady” Snow said, looking at the gate
” Hey baby girl” Chloe waved at Pinky but she rolled eyes at her
