“Huh? I just remembered drinking and that’s all. Did you see me after that? Do you know what happened last night?” May asked Raymond, who glued his sight at her.
“Are you gonna keep staring at me? Won’t you answer me?” May asked.
Raymond eyes finally blinked.
“I don’t ki-ss and tell” He said.
“What?”
Raymond turned over to leave.
“Its an idiom!. Come on, we are gonna have breakfast very soon”
May slowly followed him when suddenly, last night’s memories came into her mind.
She stopped walking immediately and looked at space, opening her eyes wi-dely.
“What was that? Whose memory was that? Don’t tell me,,, that happened last night!” May screamed.
“No!…I…I ki-ssed Ryder!… Aiish! What am I gonna do? Just calm down, you didn’t mean it. It was a drunk mistake which I won’t happen again”
“But you are fool! Can’t you stay at a place, huh?” She continued yelling at herself.
She hit her li-ps ha-rd and she screamed in pain. She jumped up and down in frustration.
“What have I done? I’m just gonna pretend that nothing happened. I’m gonna also stay away from him. Goodness, May!” She yelled at herself in all devastation.

“Da…te?” Percy stuttered, blinking her eyes helplessly.
Sandra looked at her and nodded with a smile.
“Hello ladies” Carlos finally spoke out.
They looked at him.
“Hi” Percy muttered.
“How are you doing, Carlos?” Sandra asked.
“Hello to you” Carlos waved to Percy who gave a warm smile.
Carlos looked at Sandra.
“I’m fine. Hope you are fine as well?”
“Fine and good” Sandra said.
She walked to the middle and smiled brightly.
“You guys are perfect for each other,, don’t you think?” Sandra asked.
Carlos looked at Percy who looked down, nervously.
“Oh. She’s the one whom you told me, you were gonna set me up with?” Carlos asked.
“Yeah. You know her, right?” Sandra asked.
Carlos nodded.
“Yeah. She was the one who called us in as Burberry’s models?”
“Yup. She’s Percy” Sandra introduced.
Carlos walked to her.
“Hello, Percy?” He said, and offered her his hand for a handshake.
“It’s Percy Hart. Nice to meet you” She smiled, and accepted his hand.
“Nice to meet you as well. I’m Carlos Strongs” He said.
Percy nodded and they ended the handshake.
“So, Carlos. What do you think of going on a date with her?” Sandra asked.
Carlos looked at Sandra dee-ply.
“Can I talk to you, firstly?” He asked.
“Sure. What is it?” She asked.
“In private,,, please…
“Okay then. After you” Sandra said.
Carlos walked down and Sandra followed him till he stopped at an enclosed area.
“What is it?” Sandra asked.
Carlos looked at her and kept his hands into his pocket.
“You want me to date your friend?” He asked.
“Is there anything wrong with that?” Sandra asked, raising her right brow.
“You know i still like you, right-
“I called my daughter yesterday”
“So?”
“I told her if I should get a man but my poor girl cried and begged me not. Sometimes, I wished I should stop using my vibr@tors and dil-dos at place but I have no choice! My daughter isn’t cool with me getting a man! If I were her, I could have done the same…
“Let’s just talk with her”
“I’ve tried. She seldomly moves from her word”
“Then let me talk to her” Carlos suggested.
“And do what? What do you wanna tell her?” Sandra asked.
“I’m gonna beg and ask her if I can date you”
“What if she says no?”
“Then I’m gonna ask her to give me a month so that I can show my true self to her. If she likes me and finally agrees for both of us to be together, then,, I’m gonna date you”
“What if she doesn’t like you?”
“I’m gonna make her like me… you’ll see”
“What if she doesn’t agree”
“Huh…Then, I’m gonna think of a way”
“What if she’s still persistent. Look, no one knows her like I do,, trust me”
Carlos looked down and then looked back at her face. He sighed dee-ply.
“Then, I’m gonna leave you and date Percy”
“Okay then. I guess you want my daughter’s number?”
“Yup” Carlos replied.
“Here you go, 010680…..”
“Okay, thanks. What’s her name?”
“May”
“May?”
“Yeah. Why? Unique name, huh?”
“Not at all. Its just she bears the same name with my brother’s worker”
“Your brother? You have a brother?”
“Yeah..Younger brother. His name is Raymond. You see, Raymond seems to have fallen for this May of a girl but he doesn’t just know” Carlos said.
“Wish him all the luck he can get” Sandra said.
Carlos chuckled softly.
“I’m off” He said, and tried to walk away.
“Wait! What about Percy? Won’t we meet with her?” Sandra asked.
“Tell her I left”
“What? Left? How should I explain it? She would think you are snubbing her and she’s forcing herself on you”
“You know what. Just tell her I had an urgent call and had to leave. Bye” Carlos said, and left.
He followed the back door.
“Aiish! So annoying” Sandra said, and left the scene.
In The Car****
Raymond drove fast. May kept looking back at Coral and Ryder who sat at the back seat.
Coral was using a small damp towel in ru-b-bing Ryder’s forehead. His eyes were closed. He la-id his head on the rest.
He was burning hot. The flu had a big affect on him. They had to leave the camp and run back home when they noticed the jump in his sickness. He even barfed the whole camp with his vomit after he finished eating breakfast.
They were now taking him to the hospital, where they restaurant was located.
“Hurry, please” Coral sobbe-d, seeing the way Ryder shivered.
“How’s he? May asked, frightened.
“It’s your fault!” Coral snapped.
“Coral…What’s-
“Don’t call my name! If you didn’t go out that night, he would be fine. Can’t you just let him be!” Coral yelled.
May blinked her eyes. She felt her eyes stinging. It was a sign of tears arising.
“I’m sorry” May whispered.
“It’s too late! He’s sick already!” Coral said.
“Its okay, you two! Ryder’s gonna be fine!” Raymond said, aloud.
“May, listen! If anything happens to Ryder. I’m gonna kill you, I swear” She said.
May looked in front and slowly took her eyes to her thi-ghs. She interlocked her fin-gers and started crying with low but distinct sounds.
Raymond sighed dee-ply.
“May… everything is gonna be alright”
May shook her head.
“Coral is right. It’s my fault”
She didn’t stop crying.
At The Hospital***
“How’s he, doctor?” Raymond quickly asked, immediately the doctor came out.
Coral and May also stood up fast.
“He’s fine. He is just suffering from cold and typhoid fever. Drugs has been given to him. He’s currently on drips and resting” The doctor replied.
“Thats a relief” Raymond said.
May sighed in relief and Coral sat down on the metal chair with a thud. She felt relived as well.
“He’s gonna be discharged soon after 48 hours” The doctor said.
“Okay doctor… Thank you” Raymond bowed and the doctor left.
38 Minutes Later***
“May? Won’t you go home?” Coral asked.
“What? Why?” May asked, and looked at her.
“Because you literally made Ryder sick. You don’t deserve to stay here and wait for him”
“Coral! We all just wanna see him when he wakes up. Let her be,, for crying out loud” Raymond said.
“Am I wrong? She doesn’t deserve to be here and that’s it!” Coral said.
May bit her inner mouth, trying ha-rd not to cry. She stood up and took her handbag.
“I’m just gonna leave” May sniffed.
“Just stay” Raymond said.
“No! Let her go! She has finally realizes what nee-ds to be done. So, let’s leave her!” Coral said.
“Who’s May here?” A nurse who came out from Ryder’s ward, asked.
May turned over.
“Its me” She replied.
The nurse smiled.
“Ryder is awake but for now, he only wants to see May” The nurse said.
May looked at them both and walked to Raymond whom she gave her bag to.
“Enter. He’s waiting” The nurse said.
May nodded and walked in.
“Fu-ck her! Even at this moment,, he still has the guts to ask for her?” Coral thought and bit her li-ps.
12 Minutes Later***
Raymond heard May’s phone ringing. Coral quickly stood up.
“That’s May’s phone, right?” Coral asked.
“Yeah, why?” Raymond asked.
“Give me that” Coral said, and snatched the bag from him.
She quickly took out her phone and hurried to the door. She opened it and entered.
“That girl! She knows they both nee-ds quietness” Raymond said and quickly went to Coral who was staring at the duo.
He took the phone from her and put it on silent. He slowly looked front and saw Ryder hu-gging May who hu-gged him back, ti-ghtly, crying ha-rd.
“Let’s go, You!” Raymond snapped and pulled Coral out.
