Carlos quickly looked at Sandra.
“Who could that be? It’s quite late. You expecting anyone?” He asked.
“Ssh…be quiet. I’m not expecting anyone as far as I am concerned. Hold on, let me check who that is”
Carlos nodded and stood up from her. Then, Sandra stood up, adjusted her dressing and walked out of the room.
A minute later, she ran back into the room. Carlos flinched when he saw her.
“Who’s that?” Carlos asked.
“Leave…I want you to go now, please” Sandra said Gr0-ning.
“Why? Can’t I just hide here if it someone you don’t want me to meet”
“You don’t un-derstand” Sandra shook her head and raised the gl@$$ed window up.
“Wait? You want me to leave throu-ghthe window? Do I look like spiderman?”
“Oh Carlos. Please, Just jump. I’m gonna give you a call later. We already exchange numbers, remember”
Carlos sighed.
“Okay but the least you can do for me now is to tell me who’s at the door”
“Later, I will…so please, leave already” Sandra mo-aned, lowly.
Carlos sighed and ki-ssed her forehead.
“Okay then” He said, and looked at her.
“Goodnight” He added.
Sandra gave him a quick smile and waved to him.
“Good-
She couldn’t complete her statement. She saw him jump throu-ghthe window without a second thought.
Sandra gasped and stared outside of the window. She saw Carlos sneaking out of the gate.
Sandra smiled, quite relieved. She quickly left the room and hurried to open the door.
“Percy!” Sandra said, joyously and hu-gged her.
“I’ve been ringing the door bell for ages. Why didn’t you respond?” Percy asked, and hu-gged her back.
“Sorry. I was so tired and decided to have a short rest. Come in” Sandra said and dise-ngaged from her.
Percy nodded and walked in.
“You deserve to rest. You really worked ha-rd today”
“Finally. Someone who knows how I feel” Sandra smiled as she watched Percy sit down on the sofa.
“Care for tea? Coffee? What do you want? Name it” Sandra smiled.
“Actually, I came here for another reason” Percy whispered.
Sandra blinked her eyes.
“And what could that be?” She asked.
Percy smiled, and kept her loaded bag on the table.
“Can I sleep over?” She asked.
“Huh. Wow. That was out of the blue but why not? Sure…you can sleep over”
“Thank you. You don’t have to worry about what I’m gonna wear. I have my pyjamas here. What you nee-d to be worried about is the food we are gonna eat for dinner”
Sandra laughed.
“What’s this? You’re quite funny. Anyways, what should we eat for dinner?”
“Hmm… what about bap (rice) and budae jjigae (spicy stew) with lots of beef?” Percy said.
“Call!” Sandra smiled.
“You don’t have to worry. Dinner’s on me. I’m gonna cook” Percy said
“Sure. Let’s get changed then” Sandra said, and stood up.
Percy stood up and followed Sandra to the room.
10am***
Sandra and Percy looked at the ceiling while the white moon shone its light across the room, throu-ghthe window.
“Dinner was so delicious” Sandra complimated.
Percy smiled.
“I’m so glad you like it” She replied.
“By the way, Sandra?” Percy called.
“Huh?” Sandra answered and turned to her.
Percy also turned to her.
Now, they were both looking at each other faces.
“I wanna ask a question” Percy said, whispered.
“Go on” Sandra nodded.
“How does one know he or she is falling in love?” Percy asked.
Sandra flashed a smile.
“Is this about you?”
“Oh no” Percy quickly shook her head.
“I’m talking about a friend of mine” She added, quickly.
“Oh, okay. What is it about?” Sandra asked.
“She told me she’s falling ha-rd for someone but doesn’t un-derstand the feeling since she has never fallen in love before. How do you feel when you fall in love?”
Sandra smiled and inhaled dee-ply. She tou-ched Percy’s che-st.
“Here… It beats like crazy. It tickles when you are with the person. You think of the person and when you are close with the person, you don’t wanna leave”
Percy smiled as Sandra took her hand off her che-st.
“It’s the same feeling” Percy said, smiling.
Sandra looked at her and smiled warmly.
RAY’S ITALIAN CUISINES***
“Hello? This is an Italian restaurant and not your typical kind of bar” Raymond said, and shook his head.
Carlos smiled, ignored him and took another gl@$$ of soju into his mouth.
May was with him then.
“Why do you keep drinking?” Raymond asked, as he continued arranging the gl@$$ed cu-ps on the rack.
“Sir, did someone break your heart?” May asked.
Carlos looked at her.
“Not really. I’m just happy”
“Why? Did you confess to your crush and got accepted?” May asked.
Carlos chuckled softly.
“Aiish…you talkative. You’d better go to your room” Raymond said.
“I wasn’t talking to you” May retorted and stick out her tongue for him.
“Hey” Raymond eyed her.
May chuckled and looked at Carlos.
“Sir? I’m really curious. What happened to you? I can ha-rdly read your emotion”
Carlos looked at her with a smile on his face.
“You are really inquisitive, you know?”
“I know” May chuckled
“Actually, I ki-ssed my crush today”
“Whoa! I’m happy for you. Did she ki-ssyou back?” May wide-ned her eyes.
Carlos nodded.
“She’s a good ki-sser too”
“Oh my!” May said, and opened her mouth wi-dely. Raymond looked at her and joined her pa-rted l-ips back together.
“However, our ki-sswas cut short by an intruder”
“Who was that?” They heard Ryder’s voice.
May turned and looked at him. He was sitting at a distance, close to the kitchen’s door away from the counter where the three stayed.
“What? Weren’t you slee-ping?” May asked.
“Since when have you been here?” Raymond asked.
“Since he started his story. You guys are dim witted not to know when I came down here…urrgh” Ryder shook his head.
“Well, I didn’t see the interrupter’s face because I had to jump away from the room. She didn’t want me getting caught” Carlos said.
“Wow. I envy you anyways. You got a ki-ssfrom your crush but…I’m still a dreamworld of getting mine” May said.
“Hey…go sleep and stood being lousy” Raymond quickly said, pushing her upstairs.
“Is she talking about the person she likes? The person Raymond told me about? Aiish… just wait till I catch you. I’m gonna kill you and feed your bo-dy to the vultures” Ryder said inwardly, gnashing his teeth and clenching his fist ti-ghtly.

May went into the room and saw Coral watching a movie on her phone.
May walked past her and la-id down on the be-d. She quickly raised her head up.
“Ah…I just remembered. The gift my mum said she kept for me” May thought and brou-ght her bags closer.
She looked for it and finally saw a wrapped prese-nt.
“Wow…this is i wonder what’s inside” May thought and slowly opened it.
She brou-ght out a packet of a br@nd. She stared at it confusedly.
“What’s this?” She asked, aloud.
Coral turned to her and looked at what she held on her hand.
May saw a note attached to the pack and read it. It says;
Just incase you get lonely…
But make sure you don’tinjure yourself.
Make sure it’s properly charged!

“Huh? What’s this, seriously?” May whispered, and to-re off the pack.
She held the equipment which looked like a fancy and beautiful microphone.
Coral giggled and May looked at her.
“Why! Why are you laughing?” May asked.
“That’s a vibr@tor” Coral said.
“Wh…at? Vibe…vibe…vibr@…tor? Those things…girls use when…when…they…are…
“Sure. Should l leave you alone?”
May blinked her eyes and looked at it again. It was sure a vibr@tor. She then noticed the writing on it;
Greenade Vibr@tor.
Her eyes nearly flew from the sockets when she saw;

Long Lasting,
Enjoyable,
Controllable Vibr@tion….
“Ahhhh!” May yelled and threw it away.
“Hey, I think you should hide it before the boys come in” Coral quickly said.
“What? Meaning?” May questioned.
“You screamed! I’m sure they heard it. They are gonna rush in here because you screamed. You might make them worried. You ought to hide it before they see it and think otherwise,, now!”
“Oh! Okay! Thank you!” May said, and quickly threw the pack into the trash while she kept the vibr@tor in the cu-pboard.
Just like how Coral imagined, Raymond and Ryder came in.
“Who screamed?” They asked, in unison, pa-nt ing.
“Huh? It’s the movie. I was watching a scenario where the female lead screamed. You don’t have to worry” Coral lied.
“Huh? It sounded so real though. Anyways, okay. Seems you both are okay” Ryder said.
“Let’s go” Raymond said.
They both left and May quickly went to the door and locked it. She went back to the be-d, sat on it and looked at Coral.
“Thank you” May smiled.
Coral smiled back and nodded. She then returned back to the movie she was watching.
“Mum….youuuuu” May said, squee-zing her face and bi-ting her lower l-ip.
“Aiish! This is so embarr@$$ing” She thought and closed her eyes ti-ghtly.
Weekend***
“They are here. Go welcome them” Raymond said.
All of the staffs were wearing the dark blue uniform with the restaurant logo on the che-st.
They wore a cap over their heads. They also wore any black skirt or trouser they wanted.
Coral nodded and proceeded to walk down to the door but Raymond quickly grabbe-d her arm.
“I was talking to May” He said.
“Oh” Coral muttered.
May looked at Raymond’s hand which held Coral’s arm. She sighed dee-ply, for-ced a smile, nodded and walked to the door. She opened it and said with a happy voice;
“You are welcome to Ray’s Ita-
“May?” She heard a unique familiar voice say.
She raised her eyes up properly to see Sasha in front of her. Marcus was also with her. They were so surprised. May’s eyes strained to see their busy arms which were linked together.
“What am I gonna do? I’m doomed” May whispered to herself as she felt her heart jump.
