Stretching forth his hand he grabbed Bex’s arms pulling her forcefully, Stacy held her other arms as they both began dragging her, Bex was in the pool of tears.

At this moment she wished a miracle could just happen.

“Mummy,” she cried out with hot tears rolling down her eyes, looking back she could see two of Don’s men holding Stacy down as the devil himself dragged her away

“Leave her alone,” Zion shouted running forward, he gave Don a deep bite on his arms and that brought out the devil in him, with a single fling, he went crashing onto the wall

“Zion!!!” Stacy screamed she made to rush towards him but the guards holding her didn’t let her

She was powerless, watching as Don dragged Bex out of the room, she couldn’t hold back her tears, could this be the reason why Goddess doesn’t want to keep them together? She was useless, she can’t even protect them.

Stacy was still deep in thought when the power went out

“Aunty,” Melody’s shaky voice came in the dark, she was terrified

Loud screams of pain erupt from the guards by the door, a sudden force like that of a hungry tiger pulled the one holding Stacy away, followed by his loud screams of agony, the other guard was still looking around trying to find what was attacking them when a combat knife went straight into his mouth, coming out from the back of his head

A hand suddenly pulled Melody away from her spot and a bullet flew past her, hitting the wall.

“Holy f**k!!” Stacy screamed, everywhere was so dark and she couldn’t see a thing.

She can’t understand how this person was able to move so fast, how she managed to take down all the guards in just a short period.

“We should leave,” Lilly grabbed Melody’s hand heading towards the window

“No,” she took her hand from her, shifting back

“What about my family?” Melody asked amidst tears, she clearly remembers when Lorenzo told Lilly to protect her as she would protect him and maybe that is why she’s here but there is no way she’s leaving without her family

“We don’t have much time let’s go,” Lilly scolded, grabbing her arm, Melody shook her head negatively moving back

“If you wouldn’t help my family….”

“I’m following an order which says I should protect you, just like I would protect the Boss, I can’t go beyond that,” Lilly shouted trying to make her understand

“Then leave me alone!!! he’s gonna rape my sister and what you should do is help me get her out of danger, that’s the only way if truly you’re doing what you were told to do?” Melody fired back, sobbing

“Aunty help me,” Bex’s crying voice came inside the room as she struggles with Don who was forcing himself on her but she was fighting back.

“You’re gonna hurt that baby if you keep struggling,” Don said, pinning her both hands above her head on the bed, forcefully trying to kiss her but she took her face to the side, and a loud slap landed on her cheek instantly and hot tears escaped from her eyes.

“Please, you’re hurting me,” she whimpered, fearfully.

Don proceeded to remove her jeans trouser, but she kept shaking her body, twisting it from side to side making it difficult for him, filled with rage Don punched her belly so hard that she lost her breath for a second

The pain was too much, she couldn’t take it, her tummy was on fire, she could feel it, the daylight living her eyes

“Honey, this wasn’t how I planned my visit but……” she cut him off by sending a bullet into his chest, he staggered back, and she shot his lap, then his other lap, then his arms, and his tummy, hitting his back on the window he looked at her with blood rolling down from his mouth.

Another bullet went into his chest and he tumbled over, falling out through the window, Goddess position her gun towards Lilly but Melody stepped in the way

“Mom, no! She’s my friend,” she shouted instantly shading her with her body.

Rushing over to the window, Don’s body was gone.

Lilly twitched her brows, no one has ever called her a friend, everyone always judged her cos of her love for d**k and annoying people became part of her. “Nonsense,” Sebastian spat, he ran his hand through his hair and grabbed a bottle of tequila

Their mother stood up, waking towards them

“Stay back, if you come near me I swear to Gwad, I will do something all of us is gonna regret,” he snapped, pointing the bottle at her face

She halted on her steps instantly

“Sebastian, I know it hurt so bad, I was only paid to look after you and Lorenzo when Pablo brought you two, I didn’t have a choice and I wasn’t supposed to tell anyone, he could have killed me, you were just two and Lorenzo was just a baby, his mistress….”

“You’re not my mother and you’re not my guidance, my mother died 5 years ago, Lorenzo is my brother who found favor in the sight of our father and I hate him for that, and as for you,” he turned to Lorenzo, pointing his fingers at him.

“I won’t forget that you killed our father,” with saying that, Sebastian walked off whilst drinking from his bottle as he walks

Goddess made her way into the hospital as the nurses pushed Bex and Zion in with the stretcher, she haven’t taken up to five steps when two cops blocked her way

She stopped and looked at them

“You’re under arrest for violation of the traffic light and going at high speed,” One of them said, he brought out his handcuff and she shifted back a little

“Where is your warrant?” Goddess asked, staring from one person to another

“Ma’am, we understand that you have a high profile, but we must obey the law,” the other cop replied

“I won’t follow you out of here without a warrant, and if you touch me, I will consider that as a sign of assault and use any possible force necessary,” she replied and walked away, they just stood and watch as she entered the hospital building

Goddess strokes her hair gently before touching her baby bump.

“It’s gonna be okay, Miracle baby,” she said softly.

Why did she leave the house? All the guards were sleeping by the time she came back, probably from what they ate, but who could have drugged them?

“Hey,” A female doctors voice distracted her thoughts

“She will be moved over to the OR,” she added, stretching out her hand, she passed the file with her over to Goddess who took it and looked at her face

“Sign here,” the Dr. said Pointing at the particular place her signature was needed.

Goddess looked at her with a questioning look on her face

“Mom, I’m scared?” Bex muttered and Goddess diverted her gaze to her

Stacy went closer

“You sustained some injury during the struggle and your baby can’t stay in there for long periods, with incubator she will be just fine,” Stacy said sadly, she couldn’t even protect her.

“Babies actually and there might be some complications….” A nurse was still saying when the Dr. cut her off

“Shut it Jennette,” Dr. Scolded and the nurse lowered her head.

Bex looked at Goddess who was silent

“Mom, say something!!” She shouted but felt a sharp pain in her lower abdomen

“Argh!!” She let out a cry

“We have to go, now!” The Dr said, going over to Bex’s bed but Goddess held her hand

“Will they be fine?” Goddess asked concerned. She blamed herself for leaving home, if only she didn’t leave none of this would have happened. Why did she allow her emotions to get the best if her?

She’s nothing but a bad Mom, a very horrible Mom.

“It’s a 50/50% chance, we can’t assure you,” The Dr. replied pushing the bed outside like a stretcher

“Mom, stay with me, hold me, hold me tight Mummy, I’m scared, I don’t want to die,” Bex said as another round of tears came rolling down her eyes

“I can’t Miracle baby, hospital rules, but you will be just fine,” Goddess replied softly, fighting back tears

“Bex,” Arianna shouted rushing in

“Can you call Nickolas?” Bex said before they pushed her stretcher out of the ward

Turns out it was all over the news, almost every channel is showing it, no one knows how it got to the medial but the paparazzi were going crazy outside

“What happened?” Marcus entered, looking all worried, his eyes went to Zion who was laying on the hospital bed with a big bandage wrapped around his head

“Zion, Oh boy,” he called rushing towards him, squatting to his bed side he kissed his cheek

“Don happened,” Stacy replied sniffing

“And the guards?”

“All drugged, I think something was added to their food or something…..”

“Jeremy!!” Melody shouted and rushed towards him, getting close she jumped on him, holding tightly unto him

“What happened?” Jeremy asked, he also saw the news

“A scary man happened?” Melody replied, clenching unto him

Lorenzo entered and Melody left Jeremy going over to him, Upon seeing Lorenzo Goddess left the ward instantly

She didn’t want anything to add to her anger, she needed a time alone, her Miracle baby needed her but she came late, she isn’t fit to be called “MOM,” she’s just like her own mother. A bad Mom!!

“Masked Melody,” Clara shouted from the door, rushing in with Agatha, Abigail, and Meghan who looked like she was forced to come.
