Larisa and Cora were both seated on a bench enjoying their chilled cocktail juice when they both sighted Cassius.
“What’s he doing here?” Larisa asked, She was the first to see him.
“Who?” Cora asked.
“Cassius” Larisa replied, Cassius walked and sat beside them.
“Hi Ladies” He greeted them but Larisa was just glaring at him.
“Hello boss” Cora returned the greeting.
“What are you doing here Cassius?” Larisa asked.
“Can you stop been rude for once, I’m your boss” Cassius frowned.
“Are you now tailing after her? Are you that desperate?” Larisa asked, Cora shut her eyes closed and opened them again.
“Since you don’t know the meaning of love, you won’t understand me” Cassius said and Larisa squeezed her fist tight.
“Love is a void feeling, it doesn’t exist in my diary or let me say dictionary” She grinned at him.
“Whatever Larisa, I apologise for last time…the words you said about Mary aborting my child really rilled me up…I’m sorry for taking it out you” Cassius apologized and Cora widened her eyes.
Is there Boss really apologizing? Wow Love can make a man do anything.
Larisa rolled her eyes and looked away.
“What do you want?” She finally asked, Cassius can’t just come here to apologise to her for nothing.
“What I want?” Cassius muttered.
“I know I have been a bad jerk towards Mary and it’s all in the past…I thought I was trying to train and make her strong but I didn’t know I was actually hurting her. I have realised my mistakes and I’m ready to make amends. You guys are her closest friends, to get through her, I will first get through you guys…I apologise for hurting her” Cassius emphasized with face filled with sadness.
Cora heart softened and for twice in time, she forgave Cassius for hurting their Mary.
Larisa sighed out licking her lips.
“What do you want us to do now?” She asked and through her tone, you will know Cassius words actually got through her.
“I want you to help me talk to her for me, in anyway you can please” Cassius begged.
Larisa gave out a small nod.
“Have you guys forgiven me?” Cassius asked.
“You’re our boss, so you deserve our forgiveness but it will be all futile if Mary can’t forgive you” Larisa said.
“She has a good heart, I know she will forgive him” Cora cut in.
“But it will take time, her heart is shattered and it needs time to heal” Larisa added.
Cassius smiled and thanked them.
“Actually she is meeting her birth mother now” He blurted out and Cora and Larisa reacted with a widened eyes.
“Her birth mother?” Cora asked.
“Thought she was an orphan?” Larisa asked.
“I thought so too, but I got to find out today. My father just told me about it…he did some diggings about her three years ago and found out that she is the daughter of one wealthy business woman” Cassius explained further as a smile appeared on his face, wondering how happy Mary will be seeing her birth mother.
“She came from a wealthy family?” Cora asked still not believing her ears.
“Who is the woman?” Larisa asked trying to compose herself, she knew Cassius can’t be bluffing to them.
“Mrs Mandela Bliss” Cassius replied them and they all gasps at the mention of the name.
“Not only that, she has a twin sister” Cassius added.
“What the f**ck!” They keeping gasping at the most shocking news that is been announced to them.

✓BACK TO SISTER ERICA’S OFFICE✓
Mary couldn’t believe her ears when Mrs Mandela called her “Daughter”.
She glance at Sister Erica who nodded at her with tears of joy in her eyes.
She returned her attention back to Mrs Mandela who stepped closer to her but she stepped back.
“Is this a joke?” She asked…her whole being is filled with the greatest turmoil of all times now.
“No My baby” Mrs Mandela shook her head, tears were still dropping down her eyes.
“I’m sorry for been away from you for so long, but it was circumstances that caused it…the immediate time i lost my husband which is your father, responsibilities felled on me so much, so I decided to separate you both and hide you away from my blood s*cking Enemies” Mrs Mandela explained.
Mary shook her head, she wanted to digest everything but it was indigestiable.
Its Almost hooking her, she immediately gasps for air…these were the only words that came into her head.
“I need proof” She requested.
“You got three black dots at the middle of your back right?” Mrs Mandela asked and she nodded her head, reasoning why she asked that.
“My birth mark?” She asked and Mrs Mandela nodded.
“I got them too” Mrs Mandela Mandela pulled up her shirt sleeve and before her very hand joint was the three birth mark dots.
It was exactly the same with Mary’s own.
“Your twin sister has the same, it’s on the back of her neck and…” Before she can finish her words…Mary rushed and hugged her so tight.
“Why did you leave me? Why? I wanted to hate you for abandoning me but I couldn’t do that again… Please don’t leave me again…this world is full of evil and it’s a scary place to live in mother… please don’t abandon me again…even if it’s hard for you, I will bare it with you… please don’t leave me again ….” Mary cried out loud as her mother rubbed her back.
“O…oh my baby, mother won’t leave you again…”
Sister Erica watched the mother and Daughter cry together, a drops of tears felled off her eyes.
She looked up as a smile appeared on her face.
“Glory be to you who is above for bringing this two together” She prayed silently.

Mary and her mother spent so much time together and discussed so many things.
Mrs Mandela kept apologizing to her every now and then but Mary been a lovely person has already forgiven her.
She understood her very well.
It was time for Mary to return home to where she truely belong, she has been praying for this day to come true.
A day her mother will come for her and it seems heaven answered her secret prayers.
Mary had her head placed on her mother’s shoulder like a little baby, and her arms around hers.
They both stepped outside with Sister Erica.
She looked forward and saw Cassius, he was with Cora and Larisa.
They both stared at each other, Mary was surprised by herself because if its before she will be angered about seeing him. But reverse is the case now…maybe it’s because she is with her mother.
She has nearly forgotten about Cora and Larisa, she thought they have left Since.
Cassius glance towards Mrs Mandela and he slightly bowed, she nodded at him.
“So you know him Mother?” Mary asked and Mrs Mandela smiled.
“Yes, He is Vito’s son” She replied.
“You know Vito?” Mary asked.
“Yes, been a business tycoon I got to meet alot of Famous and infamous people including the dreadly ones…and Vito falls into one of these categories” Mrs Mandela replied.
“Seems you and his son had a thing?” She Mandela asked nonchalantly.
“Yes…I was once inlove with him” Mary replied and her mother lowered her gaze to look at her.
She is a little bit taller than her now because of her heels.

The wind moved and blew at two the people who are seated on a bench, it landed on one particular person and goosebumps didn’t escape to appear on her beautiful skin.
And she didn’t hesitate to rub her arms.
Cassius looked over to her and noticed that she was feeling cold. The distance they gave each other will be able to fit another person.
He stood up and removed his leather jacket, he walked and placed it on Mary’s body.
“Thank you” Mary muttered and Cassius walked back to where he was sitting before. As silence reigned between them again.
Mary seeing that he isn’t ready to talk decided to break the awkward silent.
“If you don’t have anything to say. I will then leave…” She stood up and made to walk away but Cassius held her back.
Mary sighed and returned back to her seat.
“I don’t even know where to start from…” Cassius finally spoke up.
“Start from anywhere” Mary cut in.
“I will start from asking for your forgiveness Mary…been a jerk towards you will likely be an understatement…I have been more than that to you, I now realised my mistakes Mary, I should have accepted you the way you were. Even if I wanted to change you, I should have done it more maturely and in a beautiful way… instead of…”
“Why didn’t you tell me about it? Why didn’t you tell me you hated my weak nature? Why didn’t you tell me more about you then?” Mary cut in.
“I thought if I heard told you, you would have hated me and wouldn’t accept me changing you” Cassius replied her…he looked over her.
The air blew and covered her face with her hair…she used her hand to remove it.
That’s was a beautiful sight to behold…he gulp down and looked away.
“Who told you I wouldn’t agree? I would do anything to be with you then because I was madly in love with you, but you decided to choose the most stupidest and cowardly way to train me” Mary said as she was fighting so much not cry.
But she didn’t know the man she is with now is already sniffing in his own tears.
“I know, I have realised my mistakes…I Never wanted to lose you that’s why…”
“But you have already lossed me now” Mary cut in blinking in her tears into it’s shell.
Cassius hearing this widened his eyes, he shifted a little bit closer to her… facing her but Mary looked away.
“I can’t…live …without you Mary, please forgive me…”He begged his voice almost cracking.
Mary looked at him as their eyes locked.
“Because of our baby…” She trailed off and rubbed her flat tummy.
“I will forgive you” Cassius face lighted up a little bit but it died down again when he heard her next words.
“But I will never forget, it’s so hard Cassius…it’s as if my heart is about to been ripped off…it’s so painful” Tears are now falling down her eyes… including Cassius.
“I’m Sorry” He raised his hand to clean her tears but She lowered her gaze to look at the ring on her middle finger.
“I will keep our child and…but…but” She placed her hand on the ring.
“But their won’t be know us again Cassius, the love is no more, the pain you gave me has taken over the love I had for you…it has blinded and locked it…” She removed the ring and placed it on Cassius Palm…he was just like a statue watching her with Rivers of tears flowing down her eyes.
“I can’t do this anymore” She looked away from and cleaned her tears with her palm.
“I’m sorry” She stood up and started walking off.
Cassius felt like his whole world has crumpled down as he felled on the ground and bursted out into an uncontrollable Tears.
“No…No…don’t do this to me…No” He cried as he grabbed his hair holding it so tight. If care isn’t taken, he rip them all of.
“I…I… can’t live without you…” He looked towards where Mary has left from.
He saw someone running towards his direction, he couldn’t see the person’s face because of his blurry eyes.
The person went down on her knees and hugged him to herself as she bursted out into tears holding him so tight.
Through her scent, he knew it was her…it was his “World”.
It was his Mary.
He moved and hugged her back.
“Please… please don’t leave me
… don’t…don’t let go of me” He cried fondling her jacket.
Mary shook her head.
“I…I thought I don’t love you anymore…I thought… But…it’s so…so hard to let go…it’s so difficult…it’s so painful to…to see you in tears…I don’t think I can let go of you Cassius…”
Cassius moved his face towards hers, their tears rubbing each other, their wet lips touched each other as they both started kissing passionately.
Unlike before.
This is a kiss filled with a new beginning.
A kiss filled with longing and deepest desires.
A kiss filled with love.
A kiss filled with forgiveness.
A kiss sealed with a bond of everlasting love.
“I love you Mary” Cassius said in-between the kiss as he grabbed the back of her head pulling her closer, wanting more of her.
Mary wrapped her arms around him neck not wanting to LET GO AGAIN.
