SOME MONTHS LATER★
Months has passed already, Felix was still serving his punishment and Agnes and Hailey was gone. Mason haven’t been getting threats from anyone so it felt like the Delgado had been out from dangers.
Also during the month that past, Linda was actually canceled on line for trying to mess with the Delgado again.
She made a video saying Mason actually dumped her to marry Skyler. She explained that they were together in Paris and Skyler stole Mason from him but unfortunately the people online and even the gossip news weren’t buying it. They chased her out and she was also giving a warning to pay certain amount of money if she tried harassing anyone from the Delgado family again.
Linda knew coming for the Delgado family after they had just won a battle wasn’t the best idea so she made her decision to fly back to Paris. After all when Mason left her, she had been having a good time fooling serval rich men.
Currently Skyler was getting ready to go to work with her kids, they were past seven months already and they were old enough to follow her out.
“There, the socks looks good on you more than it does on Scarlett” Skyler said after dressing Maxwell up.
According to what happened earlier, it looked like Scarlett wasn’t happy with her mom so she had been clinging to Mason. Earlier she wanted breast milk and Skyler refused to give her because she had already eaten which result to the little fight.
Mason didn’t want to get involved, he just wanted to carry his kids.
“Mason bring her over so I can give her something nice to wear” Skyler faced Mason while standing akimbo but the little girl refused to come down from her father’s arms.
“Baby, I know you’re angry because mummy did not give you any more food to eat but you should let her dress you up” Mason tried putting her down but she clinged on him even more tighter and squeezed her face, ready to cry.
“Fine, then let daddy dress you up! Maxwell let’s go” Skyler rolled her eyes and took Maxwell along with him. The boy kept smiling like nothing happening between his sister and his mummy concern him.
Mason sighed and took his daughter to the bed. He looked at the diapers with no idea of how to put it on for her.
“Scarlett having daddy put on your clothes for you is a bad idea, daddy don’t know what to do” he gave her a sorry look and a knock sounded on the door, Ivy entered.
“Skyler told me about her little fight with Scarlett and she guessed that you might not be able to help the cutie get dressed so she asked me to come” Ivy said with a smile, she waved at Scarlett and Scarlett began to clap happily as she waited for Ivy to come.
The little girl was fond of Ivy simply because Ivy do sneak food into her mouth, she knows Skyler won’t approve but it would be harmless to give the little girl some to try.
Mason pressed his lips together and moved back for Ivy to come forward. He wasn’t going to lie to her, he can not dress her up.
Ivy wore the diapers for her and fix up the little girls clothes and hair before carrying her up.
“Can Scarlett accompany me to work please, I promise I will drop by your company and bring her back by twelve” she gave Mason a pleading look.
“What if she is hungry?” Mason asked.
“Bro, Scarlett is getting close to ten months. She is not only opened to breast milk now, she can drink other type of baby milk apart from breast milk” Ivy replied and made Scarlett face her.
“Scar, do you wanna step out with aunty?” She asked softly.
“Tes” Scarlett responded with her baby voice.
“Oh my she said yes! Don’t worry she is save with me” without waiting for something else, Ivy immediately left with her.
Skyler was carrying Maxwell and waiting outside for Mason to come out and they finally met Mason coming out without Scarlett.
“Taa.. bo bo bo ta ta” Maxwell pointed at Mason and uttered gibberish.
“Mummy didn’t get that but yes, mummy sees Mason isn’t with Scarlett” Skyler nodded.
“Ba?” Maxwell looked at Skyler.
“Yes dad” Skyler smiled.
Mason finally got to them and the little boy stretched his hands for Mason to carry him. Mason smiled and did as his son asked.
“Ba… Ba..” he looked at his daddy’s face, Mason couldn’t quite understand but it feels like the boy was trying to call him daddy.
“Yes, I’m daddy and that is mummy” he pointed Skyler.
“Ba” Maxwell uttered again.
That was the only thing the boy could say when he sees them. To them, ba means daddy in baby’s language but he doesn’t know that, he refers to both his mother and father as ba ba.
“Let’s go little champ, come on” Mason took the boy with one hand and use his other hands to hold Skyler.
“Where is Scarlett?” Skyler asked him on his way out.
“Ivy took her along with her, she said she will bring her back by twelve” Mason replied as their trait left the staircase.

BABY MALL★
Ivy brought Scarlett here with some friend. The little girl was sitting in the cart as Ivy drove her around the mall.
“She is really cute, you say her name is Scarlett so can I carry her for just a little second” Nicole, Ivy’s friend try picking the little girl from the cart tried lifting the girl up but the little girl turned to the other side.
She would not let anyone who was not a Delgado to lay their hands on her.
“Awwn, she even look so good while refusing me. Well little Scarlett, you just earned yourself a sweet” Nicole opened her bag and brought out a lollipop.
She passed it to the girl but she didn’t collect it.
“Come on Scar, you can take it! She’s aunty’s friend” Ivy said softly, she collected the sweet from Nicole and have Scarlett who didn’t waist a time to take it.
“Anyways my boyfriend finally proposed to me after two long years of dating. I finally think I’m ready to just settle down in marriage with the man, I love” Nicole showed Ivy her middle finger and Ivy gasped.
“When did this happen?” The surprised look couldn’t fade from Ivy’s face.
“He suddenly called me, saying he has a surprise dinner for me and I should get dressed which I did. He took me to a rooftop and asked me to marry him” Nicole smiled brightly, showing off her cute brace teeth.
“Awwn, I’m really jealous! It’s been almost two years since Blake and I started dating. I can’t wait for him to propose to me too, I’m also ready to get married” Ivy let out a cute smile before pushing the cart to some other places after buying a lot of toys and snacks for Scarlett.
The little girl let out a short cry and Ivy carried her up. “What do you want baby girl?” She asked softly.
“Ma..” Scarlett squeezed her face in a cute way. Her eyes were sparkling as she put her hands on her mouth and began sucking it.
“You finally want to see your mummy, you’re not angry with her anymore?” Ivy smiled and Scarlett removed her hands from her mouth.
“Ma?” She said softly while looking intensely at Ivy.
“Yes I will take you to see your mummy let’s go” Ivy smiled and Nicole pushed the cart to the cashier to pay.
When they finally stepped out, Nicole waved at Scarlett but she only responded by looking elsewhere.
“Don’t worry cutie, you will like me soon” Nicole chuckled and they both entered their separate car.

Skyler was with Maxwell while Mason out for a conference meeting. The boy kept disturbing her each time she tries sketching some designs.
“Pretty boy mummy is working, she will play with you when you’re done okay” Skyler gave him a pleading look.
The door suddenly opened and Ivy stepped in with Scarlett.
“I don’t think she wants to fight anymore, she misses you” as she brought Scarlett to Skyler, the little girl was stretching her tiny arms, ready to be carried.
Scarlett smiled and carried her. The little girl hugged her mom tight.
“You miss mummy?” Skyler asked.
“Ma” the little girl replied, that was all she could say. She would refer to both Skyler and Mason as ‘ma’ meaning mom while Maxwell will refer to the both of them as ‘ba’ meaning dad.
“Mummy misses you too” Skyler was happy that her daughter was back to her.
In no time, Mason walked in with a tired look on his face. He had been in the board room for hours but his face brightened up when he saw Scarlett with her mother.
“She misses you, I knew her act won’t last” he chuckled and pecked Skyler’s cheeks before leaning close to give his kids some kiss.
“Ba” Maxwell crawled to his father’s side and Mason happy picked him up.

It was getting to evening and Edna stepped out of her office dressed in a red tight gown and make up, she was going on a blind date Zita set up for her.
According to him, she wasn’t getting younger anytime soon so she should go on a date maybe this own can be better than Zach whose relationship just lasted for seven months.
She bumped into Miguel on her way to her and she slowly pressed her lips together.
“You’re going on your blind date?” He asked her and she nodded.
“Okay” he shrugged.
“You’re not mad?” She slowly asked him.
“About what? That I’m not the one you’re going out with? Come on don’t worry about that, I’m fine and besides it will be a bad thing if we actually became a thing” he rolled his eyes.
“Why?” She gave him a curious look.
“You don’t have to worry, just go, you will be late for your date” Miguel smiled at her.
“Alright, I’ll see you tomorrow then” Edna smiled back before walking away. The moment she was out of sight, his face turned serious.
“You will soon find out” he muttered in a dead pan serious flat tone before going back in.
Edna got to the restaurant, after looking around for few seconds. She saw a tall man, slender figure sitting on an empty table and she guessed that must be her date.
He wasn’t that bad after all, she smiled with thought before going to sit opposite him. That evening, Edna enjoyed her date and they decided to take things slow to see how things would go for them.

TWO DAYS LATER ★
Ivy came out of her room looking all dressed with her face all dolled up.
“Where to?” Edna who was with Maxwell and helping him take some milk with his feeder asked.
“When do you start caring about where I am going or not? Anyways I’m going out with Blake, we are going to have a romantic lunch” Ivy flipped her hair backwards as she said proudly.
“I’m also seeing someone new, he’s handsome, rich and sweet, his name ps Duchene Milestone, from the Milestone family. Those ones that create furnitures designs” Edna said proudly.
“Awwn, a Delgado and Milestone. Fashion designers and furniture creators, perfect match” Ivy gave a kind of smile before she cat walked out.

JK HOSPITAL ★
Jacob just took off his nose mask and hand gloves as he stepped out of the theater. The moment he got to his office, he met his ringing.
It was that doctor that never called him back after so long. He almost forgot the connection he had with them.
He picked and the doctors said some things to him before he rushed back to the hospital.
When Jacob returned back to the Delgado mansion, he didn’t talk to anyone. He just rushed into Ivy’s room, confusing the people present.
“Why isn’t Ivy in her room, can someone reach out to her please?” He asked in a haste.
“What is the matter?” Grandpa Mario who was sitting with Antonio and they were both playing chess.
“Ivy Grandpa, Ivy is not safe out there, it’s been her boyfriend all along” Jacob replied and they were still giving him confused look.
“Ivy’s boyfriend was responsible for Mason’s accident and all other things that happened to Mason including the bomb on Ivy’s launch. It was all him grandpa” Jacob explained.
