CHAPTER FORTY-ONE.
Opened her eyes and Gr0-n softly. She a little dizzy as she tried to clear her vision for it blurred. It dawn on her that she’d been kidnapped.
She tried to move her hands but felt unexplainable pain.
Her hands and feet were bounded to a chair and the more she struggled the more ti-ghter the robe becomes.
She tried to look around the room but it was pitch black she couldn’t make out her surroundings.
“Hello!” She screamed on the top of her lungs only for it to echo .
“Well well well if it isn’t the infamous bride of Lord Xavier.” She heard a feminine voice and the lights were turned on directing it to her face blocking her vision.
“Who are you! And what do you want from me?” She tried to struggle once more but only felt pain , it was obvious her skin had been damaged.
“Tsk tsk! Acting all proud and tough isn’t gonna help you hunny.” The lady spoke in a menacing way.
Gabrielle never had any enemies but it was clear that this person hates her.
“Kidnapping me wasn’t a smart move you know? You should know who I’m married to and how Ruthless he is… Untie me while there’s still time else your eyes ain’t gonna be the only thing you’ll loose today.” Gabby threaten even though she knew she was only bluffing.
She couldn’t show any sign of weakness so they won’t explore it.
The lady burst into laughter and her shrill voice almost broke her ear drums.
“How dare you!” Michelle cursed irritably and took out a dagger.
“How dare I?” Gabby scoffed coldly.
Michelle grew more irritated at the sight of Gabrielle, she was undeniably beautiful and carried herself with confidence and this only ignited the jealousy in her.
She moved closer and stabbed her on the forearm.
Gabby bit down on her li-p to suppress her scream and hold back the tear threatening to fall.
She’d to endure alittle bit longer for she knew Xavier was coming to get her.
She wasn’t gonna this woman the joy of seeing her break down in pain.
Michelle frown at Gabby when she didn’t get what she wanted.
“You know I badly wanna peel off the skin on your face but I won’t want my boss to be really mad for he has a thing for you. “Michelle chuckled softly and picked up a small pocket knife.
“I’m just curious about something. Why are you so bitter about my beautiful face? Don’t tell you ain’t this beautiful.” Gabby spat on the floor while giving her a knowing look.
“You wanna why I hate you so much ? Fine I’ll tell you.” Michelle stabbed her thigh earning another Gr0-n from her but Gabby refused to give in to pain.
She knew Xavier would find her once he noticed she’d gone missing so she has to endure the pain for him.
“I hate the fact that he choose you over me! I hate you so much I wanna end your pretty life right now! I hate you because you ain’t fit to be beside him! You’re nothing but another gold digger!” Michelle was raging mad.
She was really itching to kill this wretch but couldn’t because her boss still has some use for her.
What did Xavier see in her? What did she had to offer that Michelle didn’t have?
Gabby burst into ripples of laughter even though she was in real pain.
Now she un-derstands why she hates her, turns out she’s one of the ladies trying to climb into her husband’s bed.
“I get it now, you’re mad because he choose me.. ah what a shame.” Gabby just couldn’t stop provoking this lady.
How dare she talk about her husband in such manner?
“Do you think he’ll be able to save you? Tsk! Your husband is facing a problem with his company he won’t have time to come look for you.. drop the act because I know he doesn’t love you and I’m pretty sure this is just a strategic marriage..” Michelle hits the place it hurts more hoping to get a reaction from her this time but unfortunately Gabrielle burst into another round of laughter.
“You crave for something you can’t have.. too bad he only had eyes for me.” Gabby spat out blood from bi-ting her li-ps for long.
“And that’s why I’m gonna take you outta the picture.” Michelle picked up a substance from the table while grinning from ear to ear.
“What are you planning to do?” Gabby asked alittle wry of the syringe.
“I heard you’re allergy to strawberries.. I was hoping to confirm it with this.” She injected Gabrielle on the thigh.

CHAPTER FORTY-TWO
Lord Xavier was having a few problems after an incident occured at the factory last night and most of the workers got injured.
“Give them alot of money to keep their mouth shut also make sure you compensate the families too.. I don’t this to affect the construction bidding.” Xavier commanded and George nodded and began pas-sing orders to his subordinates only to receive a phone call from the Butler of X mansion.
“It’s sir Godvric, should I put on speaker?” He asked the boss for he knew the butler only call when it’s something important.
“Hm.” He nodded and George immediately answered the call and placed it on speaker.
“The young miss is missing, she went early and hasn’t returned her cellphone isn’t going as well.” Godvric explained the situation to them and George turned to his boss face had become darker, the Aura around him became frostier he instinctively moved backwards.
“What are you waiting for? Check every surveillance cameras within 20miles radius and find her! You have 10 minutes to do that.” He growled angrily and George immediately left his office for he knew how his temper was.
“Fu-ck!” He cursed out loud and sweeped off everything on his desk in anger.
Two incidents in one day isn’t a coincidence for he doesn’t believe in such.
He chuckled coldly and sat down and turned on his laptop.
Did they think he was a push over?
Distracting him was one thing but trying to hurt his woman was something he wasn’t gonna forgive.
He began typing off as series of codes appeared on his laptop screen.
He swore never to use his hacking skills again but at this point he’s frustrated and nee-ded to find the one responsible.
After intercepting every single call within the last 24hours he eventually found something interesting.
Michelle Greyson.
He burst into laughter and anyone who saw him at the moment would run away just by staring at the murderous glint in his eyes.
Michelle was A list celebrity that has been trying to get an audience from him but he knew what her intentions were so he made sure she wasn’t allowed into the X tower.
“How bold.” He scoffed and took out his phone and dialed a number.
“Blow it up.” Was the only thing he said and hung up the phone.
Xavier have been looking for the perfect opportunity to bring down the Greyson group and now they just presented their selves in a plater.
Xavier was furious he wanted to punch someone. How dare that small fly try to scheme against him?
Did she think she would get away with it?
Tsk!
Xavier kept typing and finally found what he was looking for.
“I’m coming Gabrielle.” He whispered and walked outta his office immediately.
George seem to have found them too as he began calling for reinfor-cement.
“They’re at a warehouse 50miles south.” George reported as he got into the elevator with the boss.
“I know..” his eyes were cold he could freeze someone to death with it.
George raised an eyebrow but shrugged in the end.
He knew it was only a matter of time before the boss uses his hacking skills.
“Tell your men not to engage.” Xavier said the moment they got into the car.
Every single second felt like eternity. He could feel his anger rising by the minute.
His expression darkened when he remembered Gabby has a severe Strawberry allergy.
“fas-ter!” He said in between gritted teeth as he clenched his fist itching to punch someone.
He wanted to see blood. He was gonna kill everyone single one of them that dared lay a finger on her.
A few minutes ride suddenly became a two days ride to him and finally they arrived at the warehouse location.
Xavier didn’t wait for the car to stop before stepping out.
“Make sure no one leaves.. kill anyone who tries to move.” Xavier commanded as he walked towards the lion’s den like it was nothing.
“Don’t move!” Michelle’s men at the entrance pointed a gun at him but he didn’t move.
He chuckled softly with his hands shoved de-ep into his pocket.
“You have 30 seconds to bring her out.”
Gabrielle is in danger Guys what do you think is gonna happen next?
