I got home to find david waiting by the window starring at me
“Where have you been”he said
“With Diane studying”i lied
“Dont lie to me,am just coming from diane house and you both werent there”he said
“Fine we were at the club,just because our parents have asked you to take care of me doesnt mean you should be keeping tab on me”i said
His angry expression changed to one of protectiveness
He walked towards me and held my hand
“Am sorry if am being too overprotective but recently something happened,its something i saw and am scared,i dont want the same thing happening to you “he said
“And whats that thing”i said
“I cant tell you but its something that can happen to you,so sis plea-se take care of yourself”he said
“I will david,thanks for being a sweet brother”i said hvgging him
He is the best brother one could ever have,i thought as i held him close
The next day i woke feeling great ,today will be the last day of writing my exam
Its been so stressful and triring but luckily today will be the last day
I got dressed in my usual baggy trou-sers and shi-ts and with my nerdg glas-s on,i took off
I really missed my scarf but its best left with that stranger and i hope i dont have to see him again
I got to school quite late but i did made it for the exams
After some hours i finished and then went out
Am a very brillant girl and solving those equations wasnt a ha-rd thing for me
I was in the school garden when suddenly i heard my name
I turned to see the stranger there,how the hell did he know my name and how did he know that i was studying here
I wanted to run away,i didnt feel like talking to him but i was late because he was alre-ady walking towards me
“I brou-ght back your scarf”he said
“Thank you”i said taking it from him
“Thank you wouldnt just do the trick?”he said
“What do you want me to do then “i said
“Go out on a d@t£ with me?”he said
“Have you taken a good look at me,am not pretty,am plain,why would you want to take out a plain girl like me when there are lots of girls wanting to go out with you”i said
“Thats because i dont find them as attrac-tive as you”he said
“I find that ha-rd to believe,you dont know me and i dont know you,so lets keep it that way and once again thanks for returning the scarf”i said hoping he would leave and not show up again
Diane c@m£ out and as soon as she saw him she ran towards us
“Cant believe that you reallg c@m£”she said holding his hand
I stayed back starring at the both of them
“I had to,to return her scarf”he said starring at me
“You should take him out to compensate him for bringing back your scarf,we both know that that scarf means a lot to you”she said
“Have thanked him alre-ady “i said
“And i said thanking me wont be enough,if you wont take me out on a d@t£,why not just let me take you two out”he said
“I dont think i can,i still have to wait see my result”i said
“Oh st©p being a p@rty pauper milly ,the results wont be out at least for two hours,so lets go,am famished alre-ady”diane said pu-lling me off to his car
Having no other excuse,i went,while diane took the back seat,i sat in the front along with him
Just staying close to him got me feeling h0t and my heart kept pounding ha-rd
Could it be that he is really interested in me,i thought as i stared at him and i was surprised to see that he was starring at me too
He drove us to a restaurant and it wasnt just any restaurant ,it was a famous one
We ordered for our food and soon we began to eat
While lucas and diane chattered off,i stayed silent
I had nothing to say that would interest them,so why not just stay quiet i thought
Just then diane got a call from louise our clas-s rep asking her to come back to school to submit some form she forgot,i wanted to leave too but she st©pped me asking me to stay with him
“Whats wrong dont you like the food or is it my pres£nce you dont like”he said
“I dont just dislike people without a reason and i definitely dont dislike you ?”
“Well thats good to know,finally we are communicating,what do you feel for me then?”
“Nothing?”i said
“Are you sure?”
“yes i am”
“Well am sure that within time i will surely get your affection cause have fallen for you milly”he said and i starred at him
“Fallen for me?”
“I dont know how it happened,our meeting last night had been magical and then when you left without your scarf,i found myself taking it everywhere with me cause i couldnt get enough of your scent,what would one call that if not love”he said holding my hand
I quic-kly pu-ll-ed back my hand from him
“What your saying is all so sudden,i find it ha-rd to believe that a guy like you would be interested in a girl like me”i said
“Well you better start believing it because i like you milly,very much”he said
I didnt know what to say,this is the first time a guy is telling me how much he likes me
Have always been unoticed by guys and suddenly being noticed by a guy and a very rich and handsome one too made me feel good
“Its time i went back to school,can you take me back”i said evading a reply to what he just said
“Sure i can”he said paying the bills and walking with me to his car
I was about opening the door when he pu-ll-ed me to him
“You still havent given me an answer”he said
“Answer to what?”
“To what i said earlier”he said
“Its still too…….”i couldnt finish my word because he k!$$£d me

I gently pushed him away but he drew me close

I walked into the hospital,i had messed it all up
Why didnt i control myself with milly,have made the perfect plan for milly
But my stupid hor-mones had to take over
I wouldnt deny that milly is a very beautiful girl and i find myself being attra-cted to her
But that is not the plan,i shouldnt be seeing milly differently but only as the bait in my plan to use to get back at her brother
I got to luisa ward Only to see laying on the be-d
Hypnotised by a lady doctor with her ,seems like her psychiatrist
“I was at the garden alone,he then c@m£ to me pu-lling me by my hair,i tried to scream and anytime i did that he would always hit my face,i couldnt even fight back,he r!pp£doff my clothes,k!ss!ngme even when i begged him to st©p,he didnt,he R@p£d me,he defiled me”she yelled crying
I felt so hurt just hearing her say those things
That bastard had made my sister go throu-gh hell and i wont rest until milly goes throu-gh the same thing

I got to school the next day still thinking about what happened
I had my first k!ssyesterday,lucas had k!$$£d me and i had enjoyed it but then everything changed suddenly
He had been rou-gh with me,like i had done something to offend him or that he was only after taking my b©dy
Just thinking about that got me feeling disgusted,its a good thing that i ran off yesterday or he might have lost control and would have do something bad to me
I only hope i never get to see him again,i thought as i got to clas-s to find my friends all with a box of chocolates eating it
“Whats going on”i said to a clas-smate of mine
“Its your suitor milly,he is giving out chocolates and my God they are really sweet”she said as she walked off
I walked further in and saw him standing beside diane,while two people distribute the chocolate
What is he up to now?i thought
I had better leave before he sees me,i thought
“Milly!!!”diane called and everyone turned to stare at me
I made sure not to stare back at him,i didnt want to be here,what even made me come,i thought as i walked in,running off would be acting childish
“Weve been waiting for you to arrive”diane said
“Your the reason why we are all being given this chocolate”a friend of mine said
“And why would i be the reason”i said
“Thats because i offended you yesterday and have come to ask for your forgiveness and i know that doing it alone wont work thats why have gotten help from your friends”he said
And just a man walked in carrying a bouquet of flower
I could hear my friends oooing and aaahing,i was also impressed myself
I never thought that he would go this far just to apologise

“Accept his apology and let us continue with our chocolates” 🚹
“I messed up yesterday,am really sorry milly”he said giving me the bouquet
I took the flower from him feeling a bit shy
Just then the bell rang and knowing what that bell was for,we all went outside

“Its time to know if we pas-sed our exams”i said
“Why are you doing this”i said pointing at the flowers

We got to where everyone was,i saw some students looking sad and i saw some looking happy
I got to the board and saw my name in the pas-sed list,i was even the first person
“I pas-sed”i said happily and without thinking i hvgged lucas who was standing beside me

“Congrats”he said and i stiffened ,have totally forgotten that it wasnt diane here but lucas

“Thanks “i said blu-shing a bit

“Why dont i take you girls out”he said

“Of course we would love to”diane saix cutting me off
Reluctantly i left with them,he took us all to a restaurant,a restaurant i knew well
David always come here to eat and i hope he doesnt see me here,i thought
While the rest ate,i felt uneasy,lookung about
“Whats wrong?”he said
“Nothing”i lied
“You look scared of something or someone”
“Am just feeling a bit h0t”i said
“If that is so,why dont you dance a bit”he said

I went with him to the dance floor and he held me close in his arms

I knew that with the help of her friends,i could get her to forgive me easily
And she did,she is very gullible amd naive but i wont deny that i like her that way
With her being naive and stupid she wont know what my true motive for her is
I intentionally brou-ght her to this restaurant cause i knew that her brother would be here
Its the devil i want to see,the man who has caused so much pain to my sister
And just hearing his voice behind us now i felt so very happy
I turned to see the creep who ruined my sister life

“What are you doing here milly?”on hearing david voice behind me,i quic-kly got out of lucas arms
I knew he was going to be here but i never thought that he will be here now
“David i can ex…….”
“She is celebr@ting”lucas said cutting me off
“Celebr@ting what?and why is he with you”david said
“My friends are right there david”i said and he starred to see my friends starring at us
“So then who is he?”david said
“He is lucas,lucas martinelli meet my brother david”i said introducing the two men
I knew david was pretty angry and it showed right on his face but when i starred at lucas
I could see the killing look he s£nt my brother,like he was mad at him for something
As soon as they shook hands david pu-ll-ed me to him
“I think its time we both left”he said
“But the p@rty has just started and i havent finished my dance with your sister”he said
“She is not interested in dancing “david said
“Really?what is she interested in then cause i think with your attitude your the one who have been telling her what to do”he said
“And what makes you say that”david said
“Nothing,am just saying because i admire the way you protect your sister”lucas said sm-irking
“Well if you have a sister i better tell you to protect her as i do with mine”david said
“Why,what possibly danger could be out there,could it be the wild animals or those horror things in the movie or probably a ra-pist”lucas said
“The last p@rt is more real,so you protect her well enough”david said turning me around wanting to make me leave
“Since your here ,i would like to tell you that am.courting your sister”he said and i stood shocked starring at him
“Courting my sister?”
“Yes,i am,got any problem with that?”
“Yes i do”david said
“Why?”
“I feel that your not to be trusted,i dont like you and so i want you to stay away from my sister”david said
I could feel the tension between the two men and not wanting to be the cause of the fight,i quic-kly held david hand
“Lets go plea-se,i dont want any fight”i said and david nodded taking my arms and walking off with me
I should have known lucas wont just leave things like that,instead of keeping shut,he had to speak again
“I cant stay away from milly,i like her and i plan to court her “he said
David gave him an angry glare before walking off
With one last look at lucas i went after david who was going off angrily
I ran after him and made it to the car before he drive off
He was silent throu-gh the drive home and when we finally did got home he began asking the question
“Where did you know that guy”
“Throu-gh diane”i lied
“I dont like him,he seems dangerous,did you see the way he was starring at you”david said
“He fancies me”i said
“I dont think so,he is after something and i think its a very bad thing”david said
“That is not true okay,he likes me and i wont deny that i like him too”i said
“Then youve chos£n the wrong person,he is not good for you milly”
“Thats a lie,whats wrong with you,youve never asked me to stay away from any guy before,ever since that day you left home and c@m£ back the next morning,youve been acting like a possessive demon and i wont tolerate that,you might be my brother but you dont own me”i said angrily about to walk off but he pu-ll-ed me back
“Okay am sorry,i shouldnt be acting like i own you but this is for your own good,i dont trust that guy”he said
“Why dont you leave me to judge him myself,am old enough to know whats right from wrong”i said
“Fine then but plea-se once you see things that are not right with him,leave him”david said
“I promise “i said
“Fine then,tomorrow i will be leaving for the States for a whole week,i know mom and dad have asked me to watch over you but this business is very important,so make sure your around a lot of people anytime your with him okay”he said
“Yes i will”i said
“Fine then”he said as he hvgged me

I woke feeling so happy and excited,just knowing that there was someone out there who really likes me made me feel like the most beautiful girl
I got out of be-d still in my pyjamas,with my hair pouring down and without my glas-s on
I starred at myself in the mirror and saw that i looked quite beautiful like this
Diane is right ,i have to get a make over,i thought to myself and just then the door opened and the maid walked in
“You have a visitor miss”she said
“Okay i will be down soon”i said to her
It could be diane,i thought as i left the room
I got downstairs only to find lucas in the sitting room waiting for me
“What are you doing here ?”
“I c@m£ to see you and also to talk to your brother,is he here”
“No he travelled,why do you want to see me”i said
“To do this”he said as he pu-ll-ed me to him k!ss!ngme
I was quite surprised at first but i let him do his thing
Wanting to stay forever in his arms,never wanting to let go
“You have no idea how much j like you”he said
“I think i do,to have been able to stand up to my brother then i know how much you like me”i said
“And do you feel the same way too”
“I think i do”i said not wanting to admit everything
“I have an idea,when will your brother return”
“In a week or so”
“Then weve got all the time to know more about each other”he said
“What are you suggesting ”
“For a week i will court you”he said
“Really ?”
“Yes and i wont rest until i manage to get this heart of yours”he said
I smiled up happily at him,he is the prince charming have been waiting for all my life and i cant wait to say yes to him alre-ady

i kept on wearing the smile until i got into the car,waving at her as the car left her house
As soon as she was out of sight ,my expression changed to one of anger
The stupid thing had certainly fallen for my trick
I wouldnt deny that yesterday i wanted to punch his face off but i st©pped myself
The only to get back at david ambrose is by getting back at his sister
The naïve thing thinks am inlove with her,she doesnt know what my real motive is
And after a week of courting her i will show her what my real motive is
And am sure that that will be the only way to get back at david ambrose
