I strolled into the mansion I call home sluggishly with my suit jacket on my shoulders. ” daddy ” I heard the voice of my little bundle of joy, my life line Mia and a smile graced my li-ps as she came running into my arms. and I picked her up and kizzed her cheek . ” I missed you Mia ” I said and she wrapped her cute chubby hands on my ne-ck . ” missed you too Daddy I cried all day” ” she said and a lump formed on my throat.
raising Mia hasn’t been an easy job especially as a single parent.i have a four years old and a hu-ge company to take care of. I can’t neglect my business Making Mia cry trying to gain my attention. she always has a new nanny in 3 weeks if they last too much it’s a month. I thought as I felt a soft snore on my ne-ck. seems like my princess fell asleep.
I walked into her room and tucked her in bed . I took a last glance at her. ” sleep well princess” I said and left her room.

I walked into my room and a wave of sadness hit me making me remember my wife Diana. beautiful smart mature , those where the three words to describe her. ” I still remember the day we met like it was yesterday my love ” I said touching our picture on the table . it was taken during our honeymoon with her wrapped in my arms and a big smile on our faces . we looked so happy and in love . I thought as I ran down the memory of how we met.
Flashback past
” mom I just arrived at college and you’ve been calling since ” 20 year old Alex said as he walked into college. ” seriously mom nah it’s the tenth time you’ve called” he said with a wide grin on his face . I know, ya I love you too” he said and hung up. he turned just to bump into a girl with books. the books flew off her hands. ” oh I’m so sorry” he said as they both bent down to pick them their heads bumped into each other. ” ouch ” to hey said in unison.
they stared at each other for a while but the cute girl looked away with a blus-h on her cheeks. Alex helped her pick her books as they stood up. ” I’m sorry I was actually on a call and wasn’t paying attention” Alex apologized. ” oh it’s nothing. just wanna return these books to the libr-ary . by the way I’m Diana pierce law student” she said smiling. ” oh I’m Alex I mean Alexander north, how about I help you with these ” he asked as they both walked to the libr-ary he told her about himself and that he was actually studying a business course. ” thanks for the company” she said smiling sweetly while tucking strand of hair behind her ear ” your welcome” he said with a wink.
that was the beginning of of a beautiful love story. they went on a date week later , things got preety serious after college and he introduced her to his parents and siblings. she also introduced him to her stepdad her mom and step sister.
they got married at his father’s private Island months later.

” I still remember everything like it was yesterday Diana, your touch , your laugh I still feel your presence” I said as tears rolled outta my eyes. ” I miss you a lot ana ” I said chocking on my tears . ” I love you ana I always will ” I said as I kizzed her photo tears ran down my eyes .

” in the name of the father son and the holy Spirit” I said to myself while making the sign of the cross. I straightened my dress before walking into princess Mia’s room. ” good morning Disney Angel Mia ” I said smiling. ” good morning lolli-pop” she said and kizzed my cheek. I guess she’s in a good mood this morning .I helped her off her bed and into the bathroom.
I wore her , her uniform and tied her hair in a pony tail. ” it’s time for breakfast angel ” I said and we both walked down the stairs. ” daddy she said and we both walked down the stairs.
” daddy ” she said again and ran into his arms. he looked like a model with his charming looks . ” baby have breakfast and Dan will drop you at school okay” boss said to her but she frowned . ” no…I wanna go with you daddy” she said and he bent to her level ” baby, daddy has to go to work and Mia nee-ds school” he said patiently trying to make her un-derstand, but a fat tear rolled down her eyes then another and then boom the whole Atlantic ocean.
” baby ” sir said as he tried to calm her down. ” where’s her nanny ? he asked” well she left yesterday Mr North” Dan said and he let out a sigh . he looked at Mia who gave him her puppy eyes seems like he’ll be leaving with her to the office today he picked her up and she snuggled into his ne-ck.

” Emma you’re delivering these cu-pcakes to Golden Corp it’s nee-ded urgently” mom said as she dust her apron ” mom thought you said I was only helping out in the kitchen, when did I turn delivery girl” I asked with a frown and she smiled” this minute pumpkin now don’t be lazy ” she said and took the batter towards the oven” but ma isn’t Golden Corp a multi billionaire company”I questioned” yes that’s why you have to be on time” she said giving me the logic sign
” look at my outfit mom ” I said pointing at myself. I was in a blue crop top and skinny jeans pink fli-p flops sli-ppers and not to talk of the pink ribbons I used in tieng my hair into two pony tail. I looked hundred percent childish. ” awwwn baby you look cute ..now run along ” mom said and blue gave a bark in support that backstabbing pet. I thought as I saw him wiggle his tail at mom.
” guess I’ll have to do this” I said to myself as I took the order.
I arrived at the hu-ge story building with the initials Golden Corp. ” sir I’m here to deliver cu-pcakes” I said smiling at the hu-ge bodyguard. he stared at my outfit and I raised the bakery’s ID he gave a signal to the female bodyguard who checked if I was armed before letting me in.
wow I said suprised as I stared at the scene . they where all dressed in formal clothes. I delivered the cu-pcakes and was on my way out when I heard someone crying. ” I turned to see a cute little kid . she’s the most cute girl I’d ever seen. ” hey baby” I said and walked over to her I bent down to her level and held her hands. ” why are you crying princess do you want a big river to drown the world ? I said dramatically and her eyes wide-ned. ” big river she asked and I gave a nod ” yes baby good girls don’t cry ” I said and kizzed her cheek making her smile. ” by the way I’m Emma” I said and she kizzed my forehead” Mia ” she said pointing at herself and I carried her up . ” now why are you crying where’s your daddy and mommy ? I asked and we heard a loud noise.
” get hold of that crazy woman” a man yelled and I turned to see the arrogant man from roses dinner the reason I’m jobless. two guards held me from both sides like I was some kind of international criminal. he snatched Mia from my hands and the poor thing started crying” hey Mr stuck up let go of Mia you arrogant man ” I yelled so he’s also a kidnapper how shameless of him thought. ” who let this crazy woman into my company and why the hell is she touching my daughter” he asked angrily. what did I hear correctly ? Mia is his daughter ?
how can someone so bitter give birth to such a cute kid ? ” baby stop crying” he said kizzing all over her face but she kept crying. ” hey there Mr stuck up hand over Mia to me she’s my friend” I said and Mia smiled with tears in her eyes. ” friends ? now I’m hundred percent sure you’re crazy, you don’t know anything about my daughter please leave before I get you arrested for attempting to kidnap my kid ” he said whilst glaring at me .
I stared as his black curly hair fell over his eyes, his pink li-ps and hot physic . I quickly stopped checking him out and glared at him ” fine I feel sorry for Mia her dad is very rude and arrogant” I said and turned with a sm-irk on my face . I gave my signature catwalk as I left the company.

” you did what Emma? mom asked with eyes wide like saucers . ” what I should have done a long time ago, gave Mr stuck up a piece of my mind , that arrogant son of a biscuit” I said with a huff.
I glanced at Mildred as she laughed her @$$ out ” Emma sweetie I asked you to deliver cu-pcakes not fight with my customer’s boss ” mom said in panick as she ru-bbed her forehead” buh mom …..” I tried explaining
” I’m never sending you on a delivery errand ever again Emma” mom said angrily and I gave her my puppy eyes. she walked away” your really one of a kind Emma” Mildred said smiling
