EPISODE 6
After a while, Aisha went to the dining table after she placed the book inside her room. Maids were standing beside her but she can’t see Eli and Ethan so she asked one of the maids. “Eli usually eats in his room for dinner and Mr. Ethan eats a little late.”
“oh, okay,” she was thinking thorou-ghly for a while. She just hates the idea of eating separately.
“Just a minute …” Aisha excused herself then went to Eli’s room. She knocked but no one opened it so she went inside.
”Eli? Eli are you there?” she called out. She saw him curling in his bed. “Eli, are you asleep?” she heard a sob so she went near him. “‘a-are you okay? What happened? Are you hurt?”
Eli didn’t answer. “A-are you sick?” she checked his forehead, his a little feverish so she called her personal maid to bring her a thermometer. She also ordered her to prepare a light meal and to bring a medicine.
“Don’t worry, you’ll be alright, okay?” she said. Eli nodded.
Ethan came out in his study room. He went to the dining table and saw the foods that was prepared. It seems that no one has eaten yet so he asked one of their maids.
“Master Ethan, Miss Stacy have not eaten yet. But she’s at master Eli’s room. Seems like Master Eli have a fever.” The maid stated.
“What? Eli’s sick? Why didn’t you call me then!?” he was furious then he ran towards Eli’s room. Ethan cannot believe his eyes, so he blinked not just twice but thrice. The Stacy he knew doesn’t know how to take care of a sick person and she never visited Eli before. But right now, Stacy is wiping Eli’s body as she changed his w£t clothes. she even place a w£t towel at Eli’s forehead. Did the sun rose from the north south and north? He thought.
“sweetheart, I know you might not have an appetite but you have to eat even if it’s just a spoonful so you can drink your medicine, okay?” he heard her spoke to Eli in a very gentle way.
“I-I don’t want medicine, no… no medicine…” Eli almost cried. Stacy held his hair. “do you want daddy to send you to the hospital? Do you want the doctors to insert a nee-dle in your bu-ttocks ? That hurts even more, you know?” She exaggerated. Eli waved his head in disagreement.
“Mommy hates the hospital too,” she smiled. She lifted a spoonful of porridge and signaled Eli to eat. “There you go, good boy.”
“Eli?” Ethan called as he approached his son.
“Dad!” he called weakly.
“How are you?” he inquired.
“He has a mild fever, but he will be alright as soon as he drinks his medicine”, Aisha answered.
“ehm, okay. Eat more so you can take your medicine.” He encouraged his son. Eli finished his food then he drunk the medicine. After a while he dozed off to sleep.
Ethan stood up as well as Aisha. Aisha was about to enter their room when Ethan spoke, “Where are you going?”
“room?” she pointed at their room’s direction.
“dinner?”
“Ah! Yeah! I almost forgot. Let’s go then?” she bashfully smiled then went to the kitchen. Ethan followed. They sat opposite each other. The foods are good in the eyes but Aisha was searching for a particular dish.
“are you looking for something?” Ethan asked.
“Uhm… it’s seems that there’s only pork dishes on the table, I was thinking of having beef instead or chicken perhaps.” her face was dull. Ethan crea-sed a brow and the maid looked at each other unbelievingly.
“Everything on the table was your favorite dish I believe. And as far as I remember, you don’t eat beef at all.” Ethan was baffled.
“Eh? M-my favorite you said?” she laughed for-cefully. “Really? Eh, I, I actually want to try another cuisine. You know? Yes, that’s it. I’m changing my diet.” She hysterically explained.
“We will let our chef know about it Miss Stacy,” the maid is about to go inside the kitchen when Stacy stopped her.
“No! please don’t. It’s okay, I’m good with this. I-I’m sorry for troubling you. I’ll take the vegetables instead.” Aisha is not a picky eater but she suddenly craved for beef this time.
After supper, Aisha went directly to their room. She picked the book and started reading again. Ethan came out from the shower and changed into his boxer. He usually sleeps half . But Aisha was distracted when Ethan laid beside her.
“A-are you sleeping with your trunks? Only?” Aisha was anxious. She forgot that she has to sleep beside him. The thought of it sent shivers to her spine. She never slept with anyone before, not even with her friends and this would be her very first time—worst feeling would be beside this cold hearted man
“Are you really asking that after sleeping with me for four years?” his brow crea-sed.
Aisha’s eyes were enlarged. “Y-you mean it’s already a habit of him? And he will be doing it every SINGLE NIGHT? SERIOUSLY? Oh Lord, why are you tormenting me like this?” her mind is in jumble. Ethan saw her uneasiness and he sm-irk.
“I believe this is not your first time seeing me half-nak-ed”, he said mockingly. Their faces are so close. Aisha blus-hed in embarras-sment as their eyes met. Ethan suddenly staggered as he gazes intently in her eyes… seems like he realized something. Aisha can feel it and she was alarmed so she averted her eyes.
“I-I … I’m Sleeping! He pushed Ethan away then she covered her head instantly with the blanket.
“…”
What’s with that accusing gaze? Did he detect something? Aisha’s mind is in jumble once again.
“It’s impossible. Im sure he wont notice it. No one knows about my existence in this country.. ahhh! I’m thinking too much!” She scolded herself silently. ” But I wont mind sleeping beside a handsome guy”, She drooled at her thought. “Pervert!” She wiggled.
Ethan was de-ep in his thoughts while looking at Stacy fully covered with blanket. He can see her wiggling. Something isn’t just right.
“That Eyes!” he stro-ked his chin. “It’s definitely her eyes”

*3 Weeks after*
“Who are you? Who sent you?!” Aisha was fuming with anger as she asked the guy who’s been following her since this morning. She’s supposed to go and see Eli in his school but she noticed a man following her so she redirected her destination. she went left side of the road and waited for the man. As soon as the man turned left she grab him and pinned him to the wall. The man was surprised.
“for the last time, I am asking, who are you? Why are you following me?” she’s impatient.
“It’s better if you do not know”, the man sarcastically answered. Aisha then punch his face as ha-rd as she could. The guy spits some blood but he laughed. This annoyed Aisha even more.
“Who sent you? It couldn’t be my father isn’t it?” the man didn’t answer but laughed hysterically. Aisha is about to punch the guy but the man held her hand and kicked her ha-rd in the stomach. Aisha was about to fall but was able to regain her stand. She fought with the guy handed but the guy was definitely strong. She was able to injure his feet but the man has a hidden knife un-der his sleeve. He slashed her right hand but it was a shallow wound.
The guy eyed her with a murderous look before running away when he saw an exit point. Aisha quickly stood up, swipe the dust in her shirt and dialed a number.
“how’s everything going on out there? Did you notice any suspicious action from them lately?” she asked the guy on the other line.
“Everything is peaceful here. Why? What happen?” the man asked.
“I was attacked by an unknown guy. I don’t know if they already know about my location, but that’s impossible!”
“What?! you were attacked? Then are you okay? Are you hurt? tell me where you are right now!” the man was agitated.
“Caleb! No! you can’t be here. You have to stay in the mansion. I nee-d you to watch my father and keep an eye against his enemies as well. I can only trust you with this. Don’t worry I can manage myself, okay?”
“fine, fine. But I’m telling you, I can’t promise you that your Father won’t know where you are right now once your safety is compromised. Don’t blame me Aisha.”
“I un-derstand. But please update me once in a while, okay?”
“Okay. You take care.”
“Thanks Caleb”. Then she hung up. Caleb is his childhood friend. he’s more like a brother to her. Caleb is the son of the general working for her father and she trust Caleb so much. He was the only one who knows where Aisha is, though not the exact address but at least Aisha told him what state she was in. Caleb was her lookout in the mansion and she receives some updates once in a while.
Aisha went to the nearest clinic in the city to help bandage for her wound. The wound is not de-ep but she nee-ds to hide it from Eli. She also went to the nearest clothing sto-re to buy a jacket. She looked at her wristwatch. She still has 10 minutes before Eli’s dismissal. She promised Eli that she will accompany him in the park today. Ethan has to attend a business meeting in Paris and he will be staying there for 2 weeks so Aisha took the chance to get to know Eli further. They’ve been spending time with each other almost every day for the past weeks. Also,Aisha woke up every morning to prepare Eli’s breakfast before going to school. She also told the driver that she will be accompanying him to pick up Eli. Eli felt the awkwardness at first but as days pas-ses by, he got used to see his mother picking him up and has been waiting for her every single day.
Furthermore, the household workers were able to converse with her freely. She got their trust within a small span of time. some says that their madam was possessed by a good spirit and some says she was totally reborn.
“Mom!” Eli jump to his feet when he saw his mother. He run towards her and embr@ced her.
“Eli sweetheart! How’s school?” she asked as she led Eli outside the gate. She saw the car parked just opposite the school gate and run inside. She called the driver earlier while she was in the clinic. She was afraid that she might not arrived in school on time.
“Mom, I got a hundred percent score for my math quiz today” Eli was so proud as he relayed the news to his mother.
“I am so proud of you, sweetheart!” she ki-ssed his forehead. Eli smiled. The driver saw how compas-sionate her madam was since she came back home 3 weeks ago after running away from home and he was also shocked to see her transformation. He smiled.
“Mr. Tanner, to Saphiro Mall please. We will be celebr@ting Eli’s achievement for today.” she said to the driver..
“Yes Madam,” Tanner answered. “Yehey! I want to eat chicken, mom!” Eli cried with excited.
“Of course, anything you want sweetheart.” She cuddled her son.
Aisha and Eli walked hand in hand as they entered the Saphiro Mall. Their driver was following them carefully. Although they owned the mall they prefer to stay low. Most of their staffs haven’t seen Eli yet. as for Stacy, no one saw her full face yet. the media was only able to capture her side views or back view. If there is one thing that Aisha and Stacy have in common aside from their looks, they also hate exposure. There are a few people who saw Stacy completely but they were those in the upper management from the White Lotus Department.
“Mom, can we go to great grandpa’s house after we eat?” Eli pleaded with his charming puppy eyes. Eli knew that his mother doesn’t get along with his great grandpa but Eli still tried to persuade her.
“oh, okay. We will go there after we eat.” Eli was shocked as well as Mr. tanner. “But can you tell me what great grandpa usually eats or drinks or anything he wants so we can buy a gift for him?” she asked.
Eli thought thorou-ghly for a while. “Hmmm, I don’t know, but he loves drinking tea mom!” he smiled.
“Oh okay, we will buy him tea then…” she smiled as she taps his shoulder.
After they ate, they bought tea in the herbal sto-re inside the mall. Then they went to the ancestral mansion. Aisha didn’t know the cause of her sister and grandpa’s conflict that’s why she also wants to know more about the legendary Master Omni that everyone is talking about.
As soon as they entered the hu-ge gate, she saw the housemaids and securities outside the door waiting for them. Looks like that Legendary Old man lived his reputation very well, she thought. When they got off the car, Eli run towards his great grandpa.
“Great Paps!” Eli called happily.
“Eli, my favorite grandson!” the old man cheerfully carried Eli into his arms. Then he noticed the woman approaching him, he sneered, Aisha saw it but she chose to ignore the old man’s temperament.
“Good afternoon, it’s nice to see you GRAND—PA..” she smiled then ki-ssed him in the cheeks. Everyone who is present was amazed, even Master Omni himself was shocked. Eli smiled.
“Great Paps, mom bought you a gift” … the Old man was puzzled then Aisha handed him the box.
“Eli told me that you love tea so I bought you one. Hope you like it.” She smiled sincerely. Master Omni eyed her suspiciously then he raised his hand to touch her forehead.
“A-are you sick?” he asked. He also looked at Eli with a question mark. Eli smiled innocently but Aisha laughed at Master Omni’s reaction.
“Are you not going to invite me inside, old man?” She said, still laughing. Master Omni was caught off guard. She didn’t wait for the old man’s answer to go inside. She went to the sofa reclining her tired body. Master Omni followed still carrying Eli with him.
“Eli, you can go and play with great grandpa, but don’t tire him that much okay? He’s too old to catch up,” she told Eli.
“Who are you pertaining to as Old man huh? I am not that old to play with my grandkids, you woman!” Master Omni yelled. The maidservants got scared and fled from his presence. “There they go again” some servants murmur.
Aisha looked at him and smiled sarcastically, “Okay, sorry. I got it. Just so be careful with your heart grandpa, you might not live long to see your other great grandkids.” She jokingly answered.
“D-did you just say sorry a while ago?” Master Omni crea-sed a brow. The Stacy she knew doesn’t recline like this. She s in without thinking. If it is the Stacy he knew, there will be a world war 3 inside the house for sure. But the Stacy in front of him is so casual and calm. Did she bang her head somewhere?
