EPISODE 26
The whole orphanage was in jumble when men in black started to get out from their cars. Their are atleast 7 suv cars parked outside. 25 men were standing straight waiting for an old man to come out. Oh, he is not that old actually. Maybe a middle age man. He stood like a king. Children were hiding from him. They fear him.
“I’m here to see a young boy.” He told the priest.
“Please come in.” He invited him inside his office. “We have a lot of boys in here. Do you have a name in particular?” The priest asked.
“His name is Ethan.” The man answered.
“We have 3 Ethan in the orphanage at the moment. Wait I’ll get their docu-ments.” The priest asked her secretary to bring their profiles then he handed it to the man.
“Master Omni, here are their profiles.” Mr.Williams scrutinized them one after the other.
“I want to see this boy.” He showed the picture.
After a while, they brou-ght Ethan before him. He is definitely his flesh and blood. He has the blood of Saphiro Williams flowing in him.
“He is my grandson. I want to take him with me right now.” It was rather a command not a statement.
Ethan crea-sed a brow. What’s happening? Who is this man who claims to be his grandfather? And he wants to take him now? No way!
“No! I don’t know you! I will never go with you!” Ethan yelled then he run out of the office. He ran towards the lake side.
The man was stunned. Unknowingly, Erika was at the door when they were having their conversation. She heard everything. Does that mean that they will have to separate ways? He is Ethan’s grandpa? Looks like he is a rich man, erika observed.
“Seems like Ethan was surprised of your sudden visit. I think it’s better to give him some more time.” The priest uttered.
“No! I don’t want to come back tomorrow. I want to get out in this place with my grandson!” Master Omni yelled. The staffs were afraid.
“Hey old man! You’re scaring the people here and your own grandson! If you want to take him then try to be gentle!” Erika yelled from the door with her arms crossed.
What a br@ve girl she is!
“What the–!? Hey you little girl, this is not your business!” He yelled at her but she never bat an eyelid. She was fearless.
“It is my business since he is my best friend! Do you think he will go with you with that kind of attitude. You’ll scare the hell out of him!” She was yelling back at him
Master Omni’s men were stunned as well as the staffs of the orphanage. She is definitely fearless. They tried to tame her but to no avail.
“And what are you trying to tell me young girl?” Master Omni asked.
“Don’t for-ce him all of the sudden. Just come back tomorrow.” She was irritated..
“And why should I do that?” He raise a brow.
“You scared him! Atleast give him time to process everything.” She suggested.
Master Omni was thinking. This little girl have some guts. Her courage at a very young age will definitely lead her somewhere, he thought. He smiled suddenly.
“Okay young lady, I’ll take your words today. But promise this old man that you will convince him,okay?” He was smiling at her while patting her head. The little girl sneered.
His men and the staffs of the orphanage saw how the situation turned upside down. Just who is this young girl anyway to command Master Omni?
“We will come back tomorrow then.” After a minute master Omni went back to the car. His personal as-sistant was dumbfounded. He looked at the little girl in awe.
After the old man with the men in black exited the place, Erika went out to find Ethan. She found him sitting near the lake.
“Hey!” Erika greeted him. He didn’t speak, he only look up. “I saw your grandpa earlier. I was able to talk to him. He seems like a good old man though.” She continued.
“How’d you even know that?” He asked in an uninteresting way. Erika sat beside him then she smiled at him. “He looks like a monster.” Erika laugh at his description.
“I just know..” Ethan was silent for a time being.
“I don’t want to go with him.” He said.
“But why?”
“I–I don’t know him. Also, I don’t want to leave you here. We made a promise right?” Erika suddenly hit his head.
“Don’t be stupid! You should be thankful that you still have your grandpa with you who wants to take care of you. You must take that chance!” Erika scolded him. He was silent.
“You have a better future with him.” She added.
“But how about our promise? To grow together and be with each other for the rest of our lives?” Ethan reminded her.
“Let God decide that for us. But as for you, you must go with your grandpa tomorrow and pursue your dream. Be the man that no one can be able to bully you anymore.” Ethan frowned but smiled a little.
“Your right, I have to be strong so I could protect you.” Ethan always admire her. She thinks like an elderly one already.
“Yes! That’s right!” They laugh together.
“Then let’s make a promise that we will find each other someday!” Ethan raised his finger for a pinky promise.
“Okay, I promise!” She smiled as they made a pinky promise.
The day comes for them to say goodbye. The old man came and showed Ethan a picture of her mom and dad. He finally believed him. But before he totally leave the orphanage he left something for Erika.
“Take this,” he handed her an infinity anklet, “my mom gave this to me, but I am going to leave this to you now. Keep it until the day we meet again.” Erika smiled.
Erika removed the bu-tterfly br@celet in her wrist and handed it to Ethan.
“Then keep this too. My mom gave this to me, keep this until the day we meet again,” she repeated what Ethan said earlier. They hu-gged each other then bid goodbyes.
“I will definitely find you Erika..” Ethan murmurs when he left the orphanage with his grandpa.

*20 years later*
“Ethan! You have to marry Angel! She is a potential woman worthy to be a Williams! Master Omni insisted. His grandson Ethan used to listen to him but what happened now?
“No grandpa! I dont want to!” Ethan was annoyed.
“You are already on the right age. You nee-d someone to help you run the company!”
“Are you saying that I cannot manage this alone?” Ethan crea-sed a brow. “Grandpa, with or without the Lockwood’s money, I can still survive!”
“Are you going to risk your future and the company’s future just because of that woman you just met? You dont even know her very well!” Master Omni yelled.
“Stacy is not just a woman! She is my Erika and I know her very well! I already told you that I owe my life to her!” Ethan exclaimed. “I will marry her even if you go against me. I’ve been an obedient grandson to you since I was young, I hope you will allow me to make my own decision now.” Ethan stood up ready to leave his grandfather’s room.
“Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you with that woman! You will definitely regret your decision Ethan!” Master Omni yelled at Ethan’s retreating figure.
Ethan closed the door. He heaved a heavy sigh. He can’t marry angel. She was just a friend.
He already proposed a marriage to Erika. He must fulfill his promise to her.

When all hope seems vague, he accidentally met Stacy during one of his business trip.
It was an art symposium in London. One of the investor invited him. He didn’t expect to see a version of Erika. It is her. It must be her. He can’t be wrong.
He approached her and had a little chitchat.
Thank goodness! He finally found her! Promised fulfilled!
However, her name is not Erika anymore. Her foster parents changed it when she was adopted. She can’t remember most of her childhood too since she had an accident before that took a part of her childhood memories. She can’t even remember Ethan very well. It made him sad.
But that’s okay! At least he found her!
They were able to talk more when they went back to Central City of Oregon. Stacy showed him some of her childhood pictures. It’s definitely her. There’s no doubt! Ethan was so happy!
But as days pas-sed by, it seems like the cool girl he know back then at the orphanage grew as the opposite. Erika before is a strong-willed person but Erika as Stacy seems to be an easy-go-lucky woman.
Guess everybody change! He embr@ced the weaknesses of these woman. Anyway, a promise is a promise.
Despite Master Omni’s rejection, Ethan married Stacy. But to appease his Grandfather’s feeling, he entered into a more rather Business Political Marriage But it was between Ethan and Stacy’s foster family. The Hertiz was actually the first to introduce it cause they were claiming that Stacy is supposed to be married to one of their business partner’s son to strengthen their company’s revenue abroad but because Ethan came into the picture then he must at least cover their lost. Ethan agreed.
They entered a five years Business Contract.
When Ethan married Stacy, he thought everything will fall into place. He dreamed of a happy family. But he never expected the opposite rather. Stacy became somewhat distant. She also denied Ethan’s suggestion to make her known nationwide. He wants to introduce her wife to the world but Stacy rejected the idea. She prefered to stay low..
During their first year of marriage, there were some gossips about him seeing another guy but she denied it. Ethan let it pas-s. He trusted her anyway.
Comes the second year, the rumor spread like an epidemic. Ethan did his best to suppressed the media, even the news about Stacy’s barrenness. Although It’s true that Stacy can’t bear a child, Ethan choose to stay with her. So he hired a surrogate mother. Then Eli came into the picture.
Ethan pampered Stacy a lot. Even when his private investigator confirmed that she was seeing another man aside from him, he chose to keep her. Maybe, just maybe someday, Stacy will be able to drop everything and just focused on her own family. He was still hoping.
He even gave her a position in the company to keep her with him at all times. But the position became a title. It was Larry who did all her duties.
Gossips about her infidelity became known everywhere. It never died so when Master Omni heard about it, he taunted Ethan. What can he do? It was a promised after all.
She didn’t even care for Eli. She never laid her eyes on him. Ethan thought that having a child might change her or inspire her but he was wrong. It made the situation even worst more.
