EPISODE 22
Aisha woke up at around one in the afternoon. She can’t see Caleb and Hunter around. She pulled up her body from the couch. Her stomach was craving for something so she went directly to the fridge direction to look for food, however she found none.
“What! Is he that poor?” she sighed. She went to Hunter’s station. She found her phone on top of some bond papers. She checked the papers beneath; it was indeed the photos that she took at Robert’s Study room. She browsed them again. Seems that they’ve been preparing to destroy the Williams for God knows how long. She remembered the last time she overheard their conversation, they spoke of how Stacy was related on their plans..
“Did Stacy really knew something about this? But why?” She asked herself. “Something is not right here. I have to find out the truth.” She thought.
Aisha studied the names on the list. It was the list of the investors, board members and some high figures in the company. They signed an alliance with the Hertiz. She stro-ked her temples. She nee-ds to know why the Hertiz are trying to destroy the Williams Empire. She nee-ds to act now before it’s too late. These factions will seize their moment next month, on the day of the company’s annual symposium. She has three weeks to figure out everything. And who is that mysterious guy anyway? He doesn’t seem like an old gal either.
She was in de-ep thought when Caleb and Hunter came. They were holding some food supplies.
“What took you so long? I’m starving to death in here!” she glared at them. They were surprised. They look at each other. “I guess that Aisha will always be Aisha.” they are having mind to mind conversation.
They placed the food in front of her. Her eyes glittered as she munches the food heartily.
“So what’s your plan?” Caleb asked her.
“I will resume my work in the company on Monday,” She said while blowing her hot Choco.
“Are you sure? I thought you took a week of vacation leave?” Caleb questioned her.
“I will retract it. I don’t have enough time. I only have a month before the Annual Symposium.” She said with her mouth full.
“Okay! at least you would be able to see Ethan anytime. It would be less stress for me!” Hunter and Caleb chuckles. Aisha threw some pillows at them.
“Hey! What do you mean by that huh?! Are you saying that I am becoming a burden to the both of you?” she yelled at them.
“ha-ha, Yes?” Hunter is teasing her.
“We’re tired of keeping up with your mood swings, that’s just it. And we hope you could go back to your own house because we are tired of you claiming our shared beds.” Caleb chuckled.
“Shut up! Do you still love your life!?” she threatened them. They laugh at her funny make-a-face.

“Dad, is mom not coming home anymore?” Eli blurted while munching his breakfast. “is she leaving us?”
“Eli, that’s not true. Mom will come back. She only nee-ds to sort somethings, okay?” Ethan explained.
“Okay.” he frowned. “Will she be here on my birthday?” he asked.
“Of course! Mom won’t let it pas-s without celebr@ting your birthday.” He encouraged his son.
Eli smiled for-cefully.
After there breakfast, Ethan dropped Eli at his school leaving six bodyguards to watch Him. Then he went directly to the company. Larry reported that Stacy cancelled her vacation leave and she’s in the company right now. Ethan crease a bow. Why should she cancel it in the first place? Ethan fought his urge to call Stacy since she asked for space. He wanted to get her back one step at a time and stepping on her borders is a big no-no.
Meanwhile, Lisa and Caleb kept on looking at Aisha who restlessly check her phone every now and then. Sometimes, she grinds her teeth in annoyance.
“Damn that Man! Won’t he really call me at all? I believe he knew that I cancelled my leave!'” She burst in annoyance. Suddenly, Caleb and Lisa laughed after looking at each other.
“What!?” Aisha yelled at them. They kept laughing.
“You’re funny! How could you wait for his call when you asked him for space?!” Lisa chuckled
“Whatever!” she pouted.
“Don’t worry coz you will be able to see him later since we will be attending a departmental meeting at 2pm”, Lisa as-sured her.
“Really? I didn’t know we had a schedule for today.” She smiled excitingly.
“Should I go with you?” Caleb teased her.
“Don’t ever think of coming with us! I don’t trust that mouth!” Aisha stopped him.
“Me too,” Lisa partnered with Aisha. Caleb looked defeated. He sighed.

During the meeting, Aisha keeps on glancing at Ethan’s direction. He looked handsome when he’s serious. He was listening intently to the reports, Aisha smile silently. She averted her eyes when Ethan was about to look at her direction. She pretended to write something on the paper that she is holding. “Damn! That was close!” she murmurs. Once again she looked at Ethan, Ooops! She didn’t know that Ethan was still looking at her – Indifferently?!
Their eyes met, she suddenly averted her eyes shyly in front. Ethan sm-irk, she looked like a guilty child who was caught stealing.
The other department finished their reports. It would be the White Lotus Department’s turn in a minute but Lisa suddenly felt pain creeping in her lower abdomen. Lisa held Aisha’s arm.
“A-are you okay?” Aisha asked her in a low tone. Lisa shook her head. She was holding her lower abdomen.
“I-I think I’m having a menstrual cramp,” she answered weakly..
“What?! Why now?” Aisha was worried. She doesn’t want to present in front especially un-der Ethan’s scrutinizing gaze. But she doesn’t have a choice. Aisha excused herself and Lisa then they exited the door. Ethan’s gaze never left them until the door closed.
Outside the conference, Aisha called Caleb. Caleb rush towards them as soon as he received Aisha’s call.
“Please, take good care of her for the meantime.” Aisha directed him. Caleb hurriedly scoop Lisa with his hands then he rushed her to Aisha’s office.
Aisha went back to the conference room. she didn’t know that they’ve been waiting for her since she was the last to report. She shyly gathered all the papers in her table. She stood in front and started the report. All throu-ghout her report, she felt someone’s eyes pene-trating throu-ghher body. She knew it was Ethan.
After her successful report, Ethan dismissed everyone, except Stacy.
“M-me?” She pointed herself. She was about to stand up when she heard her name.
“Do you know another Stacy in the room?” Ethan raised his brow. Aisha grin then she sat obediently.
“It’s about your project proposal. I already read it but your report is missing some important parts,” Ethan handed her the docu-ments that she once gave him, “Read it and make the necessary adjustment then present it to me in my office tomorrow.” Ethan said in an indifferent tone.
“Y-yes Sir…” Aisha furrowed. “What’s wrong with this report?” She asked herself silently.
“That’s it. You can go now.”
“T-thank you.” Aisha close the door as soon as she got out. She was consumed in her thoughts while walking. She suddenly bumps into a wall. Oh no! it’s not a wall, it’s a man’s back! She came back to her senses. The man faced her. He is definitely one of the employees here, she thought.
“Stacy?!” the man was surprise when he saw her.
“Do I know you?” Aisha asked him. The guy was definitely an Adonis but she doesn’t know him.
“It’s me Johnny!” He introduced himself. He was searching her face for any reaction.
“Eh?” Aisha’s eyes were full of questions. “I’m sorry I don’t know you,” She told him then she walked past him. The man crea-sed a brow. He suddenly clutched her arm, Aisha halted.
“Are you really sure you don’t remember me? Did you forgot about what happened at Hotel 58? How about what happened in the West City hotel? And at Lost Island Beach?” the guy scrutinized her. She’s hurting.
“I told you I don’t know you and I haven’t been at those places!” she yelled. “Can you let go off my hand—–” her other hand was about to land some punches on the guy but she heard a voice from behind her.
“What’s happening in here? Is everything okay?” A familiar voice interrupted. The man suddenly released his grip on her arms.
“Ethan!” Aisha run behind him as she embr@ced his arm. The other guy was surprise. Then he left with a scornful face.
Ethan looked at her. “Do you know him?” he asked her
“No!” she pouted with a firm response. Ethan sm-irk when he saw that she is still embr@cing his hand.
“You were pretty close before, how could you forget about him?” Ethan mocked her.
“W-who?” she was surprise.
“Johnny!” Ethan laugh. She pouted.
“I don’t know him!” She insisted.
“Okay, since you said so,” she can hear sarcasm in his voice. She scoffs.
“Are you going with me to the men’s comfort room?” he taunted her. Ethan directed his gaze on her hands still holding his. Aisha suddenly blus-h then she run towards her office. Ethan chuckles at her swift actions. However, his face becomes sour when he remembered how Johnny approached her.
“What if he confronts her again? Just like before?” he was worried.

Caleb carried Lisa until they reach Aisha’s office. He laid her at the couch. Lisa was definitely in pain. She was rolling. Caleb felt pity on her. He really wants to ease her pain but she doesn’t know how to do it since she doesn’t have any idea about the menstrual cramps. Although they’ve been friends with Aisha for a long time, he never saw Aisha in pain before as much as Lisa does right now.
“Do you nee-d anything?” Caleb asked.
“Y-yes! I ne—ed ksdsfueyundfbhdgfkasjdjhfuyeh…” Lisa is saying something but Caleb didn’t un-derstand because her voice was low and weak.
“W-what? Did you say anything?”
“nsfhsd kfhksdjg lsjddkhf kjfkhd lsdjknf snfd ……” Caleb didn’t hear her, again.
“What the hell Lisa! Are you mute too?! Can’t you speak a little clearly?!” Caleb is losing his patience.
“I SAID I nee-d A SANITARY PAD ! WHAT EXACTLY DID YOU NOT un-derSTAND!?” Lisa yelled.
“Then that’s it! You should have told me that earlier!” Caleb yelled back.
“I’ve been telling you over and over again! But you’re not listening!” she glared at him.
“I didn’t un-derstand anything you said earlier! Would you like me to pull up the CCTV cli-ps so you could hear yourself?” Caleb was irritated.
“Whatever! If you don’t want to help me then just get out of here!” she shouted. Caleb crease a brow.
“Fine! Then I better get out of here!” Caleb was walking towards the door when he heard her shouts.
“hey! Where do you think you’re going?” Lisa stopped him.
“I’m going out since you told me so!”
“what an inconsiderate guy! You should at least buy me my sanitary napkin!”
“Whatever!” Caleb yelled as he got out. Lisa dropped her head back on the couch. The pain was getting stronger.
“Damn that guy! So inconsiderate!” she thought, “You’re handsome but not a gentleman! Who cares about handsome guys anyway!” She yelled.
After sometime, the door opens. Lisa’s sobbing moment echoed in the office.
“Aisha, I’m gonna die! Please tell my mom and dad how much I love them. Also, give them my bank account. I saved some, it should be enough for them and also I hope you will take care of my funeral.” Lisa was breaking up. Her face was covered with a pillow.
“Do you have other death wishes? I can definitely record them on my phone!” the man is sarcastic. Lisa remove the pillow in her face. She was stunned.
“C-Caleb?” she was crying. “Why are you even here?” once again she covered her face. Caleb grabbed the pillow and threw at the opposite couch..
“If you want to die, then at least die beautifully!” he yelled at her. Lisa look at him then she scoffed. “Take this medicine, it will lessen the pain and there are some sanitary napkins in the bag.” Caleb utters.
Lisa took the bag. She was surprised.
“What the hell. Did you get me a year of supply for my sanitary napkin? Did you buy the whole grocery sto-re?” she yelped. He definitely bought a lot of sanitary pads.
“Can’t you even say a simple thank you?!” Caleb blus-hed. He actually bought a lot because he doesn’t know the br@nd that she usually used. They also have this description of “With wings and no wings.
Lisa scoffs. ” But I have a slight problem.” She looked away from him shyly.
“what?” Caleb asked indifferently.
“I-I… I stained my pa-nt and also my skirt.” She shyly said.
“What! what am I supposed to do? buy you another one too?!” Caleb exclaimed. Lisa grinned.
“please…” she pleaded with her puppy looking eye.
Caleb didn’t have a choice but to buy her the necessary things she nee-ded. He went to the nearest mall. He was looking on the displays at the section and was trying to figure out Lisa’s size. A saleslady came to him.
“How may I help you Sir?” the lady asked. “Is it for your girlfriend?”
“Damn! I will never court that woman at all! Never!” He cursed on his mind. But he smiled at her.
“No it’s okay I can manage.” Then the lady went to another customer. Caleb look at one of the displayed then he thought of an idea. He laughed evilly in his mind.
“Just so you wait, woman!” he grinned evilly. He took that particularly undies then bought another skirt then paid it at the counter.
When Caleb got back to the office, he accompanied Lisa to the Ladies comfort room so she could change. He leaned at the entrance door to wait for her. He was laughing at his nau-ghty deed. Then after a while;
“CALEB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she screamed his name. “DAMN YOU CALEB!” she roared. Caleb was laughing soundly outside.
(*** Just an information; Caleb bought an extra-large for Lisa. I don’t know how Lisa manage to wear it too ^_^ ** )
