EPISODE 13
“Ahhhhhhh!” she pursed her li-ps despite the pain. She tried to stand up to pick her gun but too late, one of the men at the window ready to shoot her.
“Bangggg!” a gunshot was heard. She is bathing with blood. She looked above her. It was the man who’s about to shot her! He was shot. He’s definitely dead. But who shoot him? She looked at her gun lying on the ground. She didn’t fire it for sure.
Another gunshot was heard from a far. Someone is helping her! She took the chance to grab her gun and run away. She was limping while holding her left arm. Pain was written all over her face.
She was able to get out from the apartment complex. She removed her mask and her cap and placed it in her bag pack. She tried to act normally, as if nothing happened. She tried to walk straight since there are few people on the road. She grabbed a taxi and called hunter to check if he is still awake, luckily he is. The taxi dropped her in the pet shop. As soon as she got off the car, hunter rushed to help her.
Hunter kept her belongings and gave her a new dress. She can’t definitely go home with blood all over her shirt. He tried to resto-re her sprained ankle, luckily it was not that severe, but her arm is. Unfortunately, it nee-ds to be checked in the hospital.
“are you still going to keep this from your father?!” hunter was so angry at her aggressiveness. She always acts alone. “They are bounty hunters, Aisha! You heard them!”
“I can’t. I can’t involve him! it’s too much of a danger for him.” Hunter sighed. He knew what she meant.
“How about Caleb? Are you going to tell him?”
“Soon. But not now. Don’t tell them yet. I have to sort this things first.” She insisted.
After hunter scolded her, he sent her home. He made sure to see Aisha until she gets inside the mansion gate.
“Hunter, thank you.” She waved him goodbye.
Unknown to her, Ethan was watching as she entered the mansion gate. When Aisha entered their bedroom, she was surprise to see Ethan standing near the window. Her eyes wide-ned.
“E-Ethan!” she met Ethan’s cold gazes. Ethan was looking intently at her injured arm. Anger, disappointment and worry are all over his face. She froze.

On the other side, at North Oregon, Caleb was playing chess with his uncle Demetrius when his phone rang.
“Hello hunter wazzup?!” He cheerfully greets his old friend. Demetrius was stun when Caleb suddenly stood up. He was perplex.
“Okay, I got it. Thanks for letting me know.” Then the call got disconnected.
“What’s the matter? You look terrible.” Demetrius asked while an-alyzing his next move. He moved the horse piece. “Haha! Checkmate!” He bursted out. But Caleb didn’t move an eyelid. He is in de-ep thought.
“Uncle!” He decided to tell him the truth.
“Hmm?” What’s the matter?”
“It’s Aisha!” He looked at Demetrius eyes.
“What about her?” He crea-sed a brow. “If you will tell me where she is right now, then don’t bother, I know she’s in Central City of Oregon!”
“H-how did you know, uncle?”
“Huh! Did you forget who you are talking to? It’s the great Demetrius! I have a lot of connections!” He boasted, then he laughs.
“Then you already know that the bounty hunters are after her ? And one of the bounty group attacked her just this evening?” Caleb asked.
Demetrius eyes wide-ned. He stood up frantically.
“What!? What did you just say? Someone attacked my Aisha just this evening?!” He cursed. He was anxious.
“Do you know who they are? Or the client who wants her dead?” He probed.
“Hunter didn’t know it yet,neither Aisha. But the guy who attacked her said that she has the highest bounty on her head in the un-derworld. Their are at least 3 people who wants her dead..” caleb stated.
“Who are these people trying to mess with me and my daughter! I will definitely make them pay!” Demetrius punch the table beside him.
“I guess you have to go and see what’s happening in the un-derworld yourself, uncle..” Caleb leans on the sofa then he sm-irk.
“I will, definitely! And I will make them pay!” He yelled. “And How about Aisha? How is she?” he was worried.
“She was injured———-”
“What? She was shot?! Where is she?!” Demetrius interrupted..
“Uncle, relax..! She was not shot! She only injured her arm and her foot. But hunter already treated her.” He laughed at her uncle’s reaction.
“That foolish girl! When will she even call me for help!” He scoffed.

At the mansion, Aisha entered the house silently. Everyone was fully asleep. She entered their room silently in the hope that Ethan is already sleeping.
“E-Ethan…! ” She froze in shock.
Ethan look at her frustratingly. Aisha doesn’t know why. Is it because they didn’t go home together? But she called him and He agreed.
“I-I’m sorry for coming home late.. it’s just that I, We ——-”
“What happened to your arm?” He cuts her off.
He noticed? But the room is dim. Was he watching me since I entered the mansion gate? Oh no, hunter!
“What happened to your arm?” This time he was serious. He’s approaching her.
“I,I fell down! I sli-pped my foot and fell down the stairs at my father’s house. My arm was injured during my fall.” She lied. “But I’m okay. This is just a mild fall so its not a big deal actually.” She laughs hesitantly. She can’t even look at him in the eyes.
His fist curled into a ball. He knew she was lying. He suddenly tou-ched her injured hand.
“Aaahhhh!” She yelled in pain. Ethan turn on the light then he pulled her and sit her on the bed. He inspected her arms.
“Remove your shirt” he commanded. Aisha gulped. But she was just wearing her sport br@ on top of her shirt.
“E-Etha—-”
“T-A-K-E O-F-F Y-O-U-R S-H-I-R-T, N-O-W!” He said in a cold tone.
“….”
Aisha tried to remove her shirt but she was having a ha-rd time since she can’t raise her left hand . Ethan saw her struggling so he helped her remove the shirt completely. He look at her arms then he cursed. He tried to tou-ched it gently but Aisha cried in pain. He saw the other bruises in her body. He frowned. He stood up to get the first aid kit in the bathroom. He cleaned the bruises carefully and put oitment to soothe the pain.
“Did you fell from the sky to get a lot of bruises like this?” He sarcastically asked. Aisha didn’t respond. She was in a daze. She recall what the bounty hunter told her. Ethan presses her injured arm. she came back to reality.
“Ahh! That hurts!” She burst in pain.
“You spaced. I have to do it to bring your mind back.”
“I-Im sorry.” She looked at him intently. For the first time, she’s afraid . What will she do if they got him– if they gets Ethan and Eli..! She shrugs the thought. No! She has to protect them.
“It’s almost midnight. You should rest. I will call Doctor Sonny to check your arm first thing in the morning.” Ethan took a clean shirt from the drawer and helped her wear it.
“T-thank you…” She murmured then she dozed off to sleep. She was too tired for all the things that happened in just a day.
Aisha was sleeping soundly but Ethan can’t sleep. He was lost in thoughts while looking at the moon. Suddenly his phone rang.
“The guys are tough. They won’t say anything.” Said the man on the other line.
“Make them confess no matter what! I DON’T CARE HOW YOU DO IT, BUT I WANT VALID INFORMATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.” Ethan Seriously answered.
“Yes sir!” Then he hung up. Ethan once again stared at his lovely wife then he heave a heavy sigh. He went beside her. He tou-ched her face. Guilt and worry was visible in his eyes.
“You foolish woman. When will you ever tell me the truth,huh?” he whispered.

EPISODE 14
“She won’t be able to move her left arm for 2 weeks. Though it’s a good thing that she didn’t have any severe injury on her head or spine.” Doctor Sonny explained to Ethan.
“Young lady, be careful next time. Next time might be an unlucky day for you,.” The doctor faced her.
“Thank you Doctor. I’ll make sure that there are would be no next time for such a thing like this.” she laugh sheepishly.
“I’ll see my way out then.” He excuse himself.
“Thank you Doctor.” Ethan bid him goodbye. He look at her with disappointment. Aisha looked away.
“I’ll just call Larry to tell him that I won’t be able to go to work today.” She mumbles.
“Don’t bother calling Larry coz You don’t have to work at the White Lotus Sto-re moving forward.” He said as he sat on the bedside beside her.
“B-but why? Are you terminating me?” She probed.
“Yes.” He was firm.
“Ethan!” She cried. Ethan stood up as he strode to one of the cabinets in the room. He looked for a certain docu-ment.
“From now on you will resume the position as the Chief Manager of White Lotus. You will be working directly at Saphiro Gentz Empire as soon as you’re completely healed.
“Y-you mean at the same company? With you?” She asked.
“Yes,” he smiled at her. Aisha’s eyes glint with excitement.
” B-but I don’t know what to do, yet..” she frown. Then Ethan handed her the docu-ment he took at the drawer.
“W-what is this?” She asked.
“It contains all the information that you nee-d to know about your department. Study that for the next 2 weeks. After that, I will personally help you when you resume your responsibility.” He tapped her head. She smiled at him.
“Okay, I will.”
“I’ll go ahead then. If you nee-d anything just call our household staffs to as-sist you. Don’t stress yourself too much.” He ki-ss her before exiting the room. Aisha blus-h with his sudden affection.
Since Aisha cannot leave the house due to her injury, she dedicated her time for the whole week taking care of Eli. While as-sisting Eli, she was able to finish reading all the docu-ments that Ethan handed her. She furthers her knowledge by reading more books as her reference. At the same time, she is also in contact with hunter. She nee-ds information about the bounty hunters and if he has any information using the phone that she took from one of them.
The night that she went to hunter, she gave him all the details of what transpired during her conversation with the bounty leader. She also left the phone that she took in hope that the client will call. But according to hunter, no one called the phone. Seems like the people who wants her dead knew what happen. They are not easy to deal with. They know what they’re doing. They are smart. Whoever these people are, they surely know how the un-derworld operates.
After the first week, Doctor Sonny remove the cast on Aisha’s arm. She can move it but not to the full extent. She then decided to visit Ethan in his office. She wants to surprise his husband, so she cooked some meals for their lunch. She ask Mr. Tanner to drop her at the company.
“Whoa! It’s definitely the biggest and tallest building around the city.” Aisha was so amazed. She was about to enter the building but the guards stopped her.
“Sorry Miss but you can’t enter the building.” one of The guard told her. She crease a brow.
“I’m here to see Mr. Williams. Ethan Saphiro Williams.” She said casually. The guard eyed her from head to toe. The lady infront of her is just wearing a plane white V-ne-ck shirt paired with a gray ti-ght jeans. But she’s definitely pretty. She’s bloomingly gorgeous.
“Do we have a problem?” She asked when she noticed how the guard eyed her.
“N-none miss. It’s just that—–” he doesnt know how to tell her without any intent of insult. He just pointed out the ladies who are about to enter the building. Aisha followed her finger. Then she saw the ladies outfit. They are all wearing business suits, if not, they are all dress up with heavy make-up. She un-derstood what the guard means. She look at herself and mock her outfit inside her head. She laughed.
“Sir, I totally un-derstand what you mean.” She laughs. ” But can you at least consider me just this once? I came here to bring my husband’s lunch.”
“But miss I thought you’re here to see Mr. Williams? ” He was confuse.
“Yes.” She smiles at him. Then realization hit the guard.
“I-I’m sorry Miss. Are you perhaps—-?”
“Stacy. Stacy Hertiz Williams.” She smiled. The guard hold his breath.
“I-I’m sorry Miss Williams. Please forgive my rudeness. I didn’t know coz I haven’t seen you in person.” He stammered as he explained himself.
“It’s okay. I know you’re just doing your job. But can you show me the way to his office?” She answered politely.
“O-of course Miss Stacy.” The guard called another personnel and directed him to guide Stacy to where Ethan’s office is.
The other personnel went with her but he left her when they reach the front door to the secretary’s desk.
“Please get inside Miss Stacy. his secretary will guide you throu-gh.”
“Thank you.” She said before the personnel left her.
Aisha knocks on the door before entering. She found Dorothy at her desk talking on the phone. Dorothy signaled her to come in. So she did. After her call, Dorothy lead her inside Ethan’s office then she left her there. Stacy place the paper bag on top of the sofa table then she roam around the office. It’s hu-ge. He probably sleeps sometimes since there is a big fluffy couch inside. There’s also a widescreen LED TV adjacent to the couch. The walls are made of clear glas-s. She can see the beautiful blue sky outside. The other houses and buildings seems so small when you look at it from where she is right now. The people looks like little ants. She smiled.
Dorothy told her that Ethan is in a business conference and he will be back in the office after an hour. She told her not to inform Ethan about her waiting inside. She wants to surprise her, but she felt sleepy while waiting so she laid her body down the couch for the meantime but she doze off to sleep.
After A while, Ethan came in but he didn’t notice Aisha who was sleeping on the couch. Angel was with him. Ethan has a foul mood at that moment because one of the client refused his entry at the North Side Country for his coastline project.
“Damn that client!” He punch his table. Aisha move. She heard Ethan but she also heard a woman’s voice. She didn’t wake up. She was curious. She heard the woman speak.
“Don’t worry Ethan. We will definitely get that project soon.” Her voice is somehow seductive. Aisha was annoyed.
Angel stood behind him. “Let me ease your stress for a while.” Then she touch his back shoulders and gently mas-sage it. Ethan lean on his chair with his eyes close. He’s enjoying her hands. Aisha saw them at the television screen. Her heart sting a bit.
Aisha stood up with her annoyed face.
“Stacy?” Angel was surprised. As soon as Ethan heard her name, he openned his eyes. He looked at her.
“Stacy? What are you doing here?” Ethan asked in surprise.
Aisha glared at him, she looks like she can murder someone anytime. She stared at angel’s hand still holding Ethan’s broad shoulders. She glared at them full of contempt.
She took the paper bag and hurriedly went out. She bang the door!
“Stacy! Wait!” Ethan quickly stood up and chase after her.
“Dorothy, please take this. I believe you haven’t taken your lunch yet!” She was irritated.
“Stacy!” Ethan approach her. “I’m sorry I didn’t know you where here.” He said in a calm voice. She was holding her anger.
“How would you know when you’re busy fli-rting with another woman!” She yelled at him.
Ethan was surprise while Dorothy wanted to laugh but she held it. Love quarrel infront of her? Its very new.
“I-it’s not what you think okay. Stacy,look at me!” Ethan grab her shoulder so she can face him. She look away, still mad at him.
“We are not doing any———”
“I dont care!” She cut him off. “I don’t care what you do or what you’re doing and I don’t care what you wanna do. It’s your life anyway. If you want to fli-rt with her then fine! Go! I was a fool to think about surprising my husband with this damn lunch!” She was yelling like a child.
Dorothy can’t Contain her laugh any longer.
“Jealousy is in the air.. hmmm.. ” Dorothy hums mockingly.
“Stacy! I told you it’s not what you think,okay?” Ethan patiently explained.
“What am I thinking anyway? She’s just your employee? Fine! She’s just a friend? Fine! And I am just a bothersome wife! So I’m going home! then you can continue what you’re doing!” She removed Ethan’s hands from her shoulder then she hurried towards the door. Ethan laugh at her childishness. He chase her and pulled her arm. He embr@ced her.
“I’m sorry, okay.. I’m sorry. I’m sorry that your husband is so handsome,” he teased her. Aisha pinched his side.
Angel heard the commotion outside his office so she came out.
“Stacy, I’m sorry. It’s not what you think. I’m just relieving his stress a while ago. I didn’t know you where there.” Angel explained. Aisha looked away. She was embarras-s.
“I’ll see myself out then,” Ethan smiled at her apologetically. Then Angel left.
“Am I still going to eat this? Coz I am super starving.” Dorothy sm-irk while looking at them.
“I’m sure your boss is full since he was enjoying her woman’s mas-sage!” She pouted after glaring at him. Dorothy laughs but Ethan raised his brow.
“Are you jealous?” He was laughing. He quickly pull her close then he ki-ssed her li-ps for God knows how long. She blus-hed at the thought of Dorothy watching.
“Would that be enough to compensate my wife’s effort?” He teased her after he released her li-ps.
“I dont care. I’m going home.” She look away as she cross her arms on her . Ethan was enjoying looking at her wife’s jealous reaction. He look at Dorothy.
“Dorothy you can have a 2 hours lunch break for today but make sure to clear my schedule for that 2 hours. I dont want anyone to disturb “US” for the next hours.. ” Ethan said. Dorothy jump in happiness. She was overwhelm.
“Yes!” She shouted then went near Aisha. She hold her hand than she embr@ce her.
“A big thanks to you Miss Stacy!” She said happily. “You’re an angel in disguise!” She ki-ssed her cheek then exited the office jumping and dancing.
“Were you that strict to your employees?” She asked Ethan curiously. He laugh.
“As for my thoughtful wife, please Stay with your handsome husband today..” He pulled her to his as he planted a ki-ss on her forehead. He took the paper bag at Dorothy’s table then entered his office.

Angel was in de-ep thought while walking out of the building.
“What was that? Stacy never gets mad before. not even if she sees us so close at each other. hmmm.. what happened? There’s something wrong with her… I just can’t point it out yet.. I guess I’ll be watching her for the time being.. ” Angel said to herself.
