EPISODE 11
Aisha was the one who prepared the breakfast since she doesn’t have to go to work early. Ethan gave her a new schedule following the 8 hours shift for the day. they also agreed to reinstate Kian’s job because Aisha insisted.
After preparing Eli to school, she then prepared Ethan’s bath.
“Are you sure of dropping me to work today? Won’t you be late?” Aisha asked Ethan.
“It’s okay, my appointment with Mr. Douglas is in the afternoon anyway,”
“But will you really wait for me after work? Coz I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Ethan stared at her direction. She was putting on the black shoes he gave her last night.
“Do you want Kian to send you home instead?” he was annoyed.
“hey!” she glared at him, “That’s not what I mean. I was— ahhh! Okay fine!” she gave up. She stood up to see herself in the mirror after she put on her new flat shoes. She is thankful. At least she won’t be having a ha-rd time standing all day with her heels on.
Ethan smiled when he saw that the shoes suits her. Despites not wearing heels, it is very evident that she has long lean legs. Ethan also told her that she can wear black skinny jeans or at least slacks but she declined. She can’t afford to blow her cover. She loves to do it but her workmates might think negatively about her special treatment so she settled with their pencil cut skirt . Ethan was upset because he knew how other guys eyed her when she’s at work. Aisha surely knew it that’s why she was always pulling her skirt down from time to time. it’s already a relief that no one dared to touch her yet, aside from Kian who’s ogling around her lately.
“See you later, Mr. Williams.” Aisha ki-ssed Ethan before getting off the car. Aisha told him to drop her in the parking area to avoid people seeing them together.
Larry saw his boss smiling from ear to ear, it was his first time to see him smiled after a long time. after dropping Stacy, they headed directly to the company.
It was a rare sight for the company employees to see Ethan in a good mood. For the whole morning during their business discussions and reports, they find it odd not to hear any curse or howl from their boss even if there are a lot of loopholes on their reports. He gave them chances to make another good reports. They were shocked and rumors started spreading around. Some gossips say that their boss was possessed, some says that he already divorced his unfaithful wife, some even says that he found a new wife. Rumors were everywhere.
Angel, who was in the company that day overheard the rumors so she decided to visit Ethan in his office. She found Ethan beaming while looking at his phone. He looks like a teenager who received a text from her crush.
“So the rumors are true, huh.” Angel said when she walked in. Ethan look at her.
“Angel! It’s been a while.” He laid down his phone.
“I just arrived from visiting my dad in Japan. I dropped by to see if you are available for lunch.”
“My appointment with Mr. Douglas is in the afternoon. I won’t mind joining you since you’re already here.”
Ethan and Angel went into a fine Japanese dining restaurant since Angel loves Japanese cuisine. Angel Lockwood is a half Japanese and half American child who grew up in the United States. Her parents are one of the biggest investor of their company. Master Omni loves her and wanted Ethan to marry her. However, since Ethan saw Stacy, he defied his grandfather for the very first time. Angel likes Ethan but she chose to keep their friendship when Ethan married Stacy. She came back after staying in Japan for a year. She heard some rumors about Stacy’s infidelity that’s why she came back in hopes that Ethan would want her as a wife.
“So how are you and Stacy? I heard a lot. I hope you’re okay,” she purposely diverted their topic.
“We’re doing just fine.” He smiled.
“I heard about the divorce. I hope it’s not true?” Angel’s tone is more of a question. She was actually hoping to hear it from Ethan but Ethan laughed and shrugs it off.
“I hope we’re not here to talk about my marriage life, because I’m doing perfectly just fine.” He stated.
“Well, you say so.” Angel was disappointed not to hear what she wanted to hear but she didn’t press it further. They talked about business. after some time, Ethan bid farewell since he has an appointment in the afternoon..
An investor named Douglas wants to invest in their clothing manufacturing business so he wanted to see the latest designs that they have. Ethan decided to show him the manufacturing site. After that, they went to the White Lotus Sto-re. Mr. Douglas was pleased to see the manufacturing site but he was more than delighted to see all the latest fashion designs displayed in the sto-re. Ethan was accompanied by Larry and Dorothy, his secretary as they tour Mr. Douglas with his personal as-sistant. While roaming around, Mr. Douglas sp-otted a beauty who is isting a female artist and showing their new designs. She was smiling from time to time. Ethan caught the investors’ eyes looking at his wife Stacy. He was irritated.
“I never knew how beautiful your staffs here are. It’s actually perfect! As you know I have a lot of top models in my company and I would like to see some of your new designs for them.” Mr. Douglas stated.
“That’s not a problem Mr. Douglas. I can ask our models to show you some of our top selling dresses.” Ethan answered.
“I don’t want any models. I want her.” He pointed out Stacy. Ethan was enraged but his Personal as-sistant Larry seized his hands. He swerved his head in disapproval.
“She looks like one of my models, I believe her body would give justice to these beautiful ornaments.” Ethan never said a word but Larry approach Stacy and explained to her the situation. She wanted to refuse so she looked at Ethan in hope that he will save her but Ethan coldly looked away. She was a bit hurt but if she can’t do it, Ethan might lose this so called investor. With a heavy heart, she agreed.
Aisha wore all the dresses that Mr. Douglas chose. It’s pretty obvious that he is enjoying watching this lovely lady. She looked good in everything. He even dared to choose a revealing dress but Ethan dissuades him. he was dying to take pictures of her but Ethan stopped him.
“Sorry Mr. Douglas, but we don’t allow anyone to take pictures of any of our employees nor our designs. Company policy. I hope you un-derstand that.” He said.
After that, Mr. Douglas persuade Ethan to bring Stacy along for their coffee time. He didn’t have a choice but to bring her.
“It’s nice to meet such a beauty like you Miss Stacy.” Mr. Douglas said. “Do you have a boyfriend?” he continued.
“I don’t have one.” Aisha answered but Ethan looked at her fiercely.
“Oh! I don’t know if I will believe you Miss Stacy. But with that beauty, you can se-duce anyone.” Mr. Douglas eyed her stylishly. He’s been staring at her exp-osed legs since they were inside the sto-re. Aisha can feel it but she can’t do anything. After a while, Ethan covered her legs with his jacket which stuns Aisha, as well as Mr. Douglas.
“It’s cold. You might get sick.” Ethan reasoned.
“Such a gentleman, huh.” Mr. Douglas scoffed. “by the way Stacy, perhaps you want to be a model? I can make you the country’s top model of all time!” he suggested.
“Thank you Mr. Douglas but I am not interested. I told you that I do not have a boyfriend because I am already married. I have an alluring husband and a very smart son. I don’t want to divide my time for them. Please excuse me, I’ll just use the bathroom.” She was irritated. Aisha stood and went to the bathroom but she was not aware that Mr. Douglas also went to the restroom and was waiting for her at the entrance.
“M-Mr. Douglas?” Aisha stuttered when she saw his wicked smile. She steps backward when Mr. Douglas advances near her.
“Miss Stacy, I am very much interested in you, you know? It’s a waste to see such a beauty working as a mere saleslady. I just wanted to help you become a big time star.” He was ing her soft long hair.
“I’m sorry Mr. Douglas but I am not interested on your offer.” She’s about to move out when Mr. Douglas block her way.
“You know with your lowly status you should be pleading me to take you instead. I am already offering you a way out!” he yelled. “Or Perhaps, you’re acting like a dignified woman playing ha-rd to get, huh?!” he clutches her hand ti-ghtly.
“Mr. Douglas, I’m hurting!” she threatened.
“Oh, are you threatening me,? What do you think will happen if Mr. Williams lose me as an investor, huh? What do you think will happen if he discovers that you jeopardize this moment?’ Aisha frowns when she recalled Ethan’s face at the clothing sto-re. Didn’t he care for her wife back then? She pursed her li-ps.
“Miss Stacy, a lowly saleslady like you should obey me instead.” He continued. He was about to touch her cheek but she slapped his hands. Mr. Douglas was furious.
“How dare you——-!” he’s about to hit her but she took his hand, grasped it ha-rd, then locked it behind him. Mr. Douglas was yelling in pain. She twisted his arm higher.
“Don’t try me Mr. Douglas while I am being nice to you. I am not one of your casual woman whom you can toy with. You’re messing with the wrong woman, bastard!” she was infuriated.
“You crazy woman! Because of you, Mr. Williams will definitely lose millions if i back out!” he shouted in pain.
“Stacy!” She heard a familiar voice. It was Ethan. “Let her go!” he said coldly. She worriedly releases Mr. Douglas hand. Then she looked away feeling embaras-sed.
“hmp! See, I told you —–” Mr. Douglas wasn’t able to finish his statement because a fist suddenly landed on his face. He fell on the floor.
Mr. Douglas was dumbfounded! Aisha was speechless.
“D-did you just hit me Mr. Williams?” he asked.
” do you want more? Coz I can definitely send you to hell, you bastard!
“Ethan!”. He is about to hit him again but Aisha stopped him.
“W-why are you doing this? You’re not concern about my investment in your company?” Mr. Douglas threatened.
“Do you really think that your money will affect the growth of my company? Well, you umed wrong! I don’t nee-d your money to begin with.” Ethan was aggravated.
“Did you just refused my investment just for a mere lowly saleslady?! And you lowly woman, all I want to do is help you conquer the world. You should be thankful because I was pleased with you. A lot of woman are dying to get on my bed for fame! Do you think you’re any better than them?!” Mr. Douglas yelled as he stood up. Once again, Ethan hit him ha-rd on the face. he fell on the floor— again. This time, Ethan was much more aggressive. Blood ooze from Mr. Douglas’ li-ps.
“Mr. Douglas, have you ever heard of the commandment “Thou shall not covet someone else’s wife?” Mr. Douglas’ eyes wide-ned..
“Y-You are saying —-”
“You’re right! You messed with the wrong person! And from now on, I don’t want to do any business with you in the future!” he signaled Larry to show Douglas out.
After the confrontation, Ethan faced Stacy and inspect any wounds on her arm. she looks away, “Are you okay?”
“ehmm,” she nods. Ethan cu-p her face with his hands. She looks down.
“I’m sorry.” Ethan apologizes then he hu-gs her.
“I’m sorry, you lost him because of me…” her voice was full of guilt.
“I rather lose him than lose my wife.” He answered. Her heart skips a beat then she hu-gs him back.
